The lads played well. we are a work in progress.
We passed the ball in our half really well and we excelled in gifting the ball to the opposition.
Smithy played a blinder between the sticks. oh have i mentioned we are a work in progress? sound familiar? 🍞🍞.

1.) 02 Dec 2017 22:03:55
Johnson at Bristol city faced the same last season from fans,
Bet they're singing his name now?
You can't turn our mess out overnight,
Even pep with all his riches cudn't get city right in his first season.
Chopping and changing doesn't work,we'll be mid table and be ups and downs, that's the goal for me this season

2.) 03 Dec 2017 08:24:30
FF79 come on how can you defend warburton?
Are you telling me you are satisfied and happy with our results so far?
This league is extremely tough and the results clearly speak for themselves.
11 LOSSES. minus goal difference. conceeding soft easy goals. poor defending. need i go on?
How much time do you wish to give before we decline and slip further?
Something has to give I'm afraid.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 09:41:26
I'm not defending him,I just want some stability the club, and a manager to be given a chance not 30 games and start the manager merry go round again.
It hasn't worked, the finances have settled down now,we will be able to offload the last deadwood at the end of the season.

4.) 03 Dec 2017 09:47:40
Because he wheres rose tinted glasses I watch home and away we don't have a plan b OK fair enough we play nice passing football me personally I'd rather win games the ugly way if that gets us where we want to be taken arsenal yesterday 69% possession who got 3 points utd we can keep saying we are working progress we cannot defend as a unit it's beginning to think what Zach clough must be thinking probably same as velious the lad is a natural no 10 MW needs to have a rethink and quickly

5.) 03 Dec 2017 12:22:54
So you "Watch Home and Away" mate??? I thought that ended a while ago. just saying 😋😋😋

6.) 03 Dec 2017 12:33:47
Spot on Johnny. We just don't seem to have the players to do the ugly stuff. This wasn't addressed in the summer even though it was quite evident end of last season.
I appreciate MW can't be expected to sort this in 1 transfer window and i'm also aware we can't keep sacking managers.Facts are facts,we've lost way too many games this season and concede an embarrassing amount of goals.Personally I'd stick with MW till the end of the season and see how things look then.A strong second half of the season could have us all feeling more positive.
Zac Clough is a concern for me.Very promising player rotting away imo.

7.) 03 Dec 2017 12:34:57
Same old forest we've become accustomed to this season. Most of the possession but created the same amount of chances the opposition created. Negative and predictable.

8.) 03 Dec 2017 13:44:04
MMs, Manager-Moaners, out in force again. Life, like football, is never easy and will never be so. We have had the major bonus of getting rid of a clueless owner, and now have someone who wants to keep the ball on the floor and build up skills in the relatively inexpensive squad he has got. Would you constantly criticise and moan at your own kids for all their failures (I know, we are not dealing with kids, as many of you seem to think) or praise them for the things they do well? The positive managers are the ones that achieve the most: half a season is no time at all in the life of a team or Club. All we can do is support the Club and the lads, even if we have rather obvious criticisms to make. Nothing breed success like success.

9.) 03 Dec 2017 15:24:12
Knee jerk replace manager moans as usual when we lose, that really hasn't worked out in the past for us has it.

At least give the guy a whole season in charge, mid table/top 10 is a decent finish, loooooong way to go yet, we do have a really young side on a steep learning curve.

10.) 03 Dec 2017 15:33:18
I’m not moaning at my kids I’m moaning at the man in charge of full grown adults that’s trying to mould them into something they will never be.who in the world has success playing the ball on the floor with no pace, tempo or directness?no team in the world plays like that.all the passing teams are direct and don’t pass Just for the sake of it like we do.thats not good football that’s trying to keep the ball off the opponents so they can’t score which again is down to the manager not realising that these players panic far to often when under pressure.its all well and good keeping the ball but when you have so much possession and do nothing with it what’s the point?people are mistaking good football with keep ball.

11.) 03 Dec 2017 17:35:45
We keep coming back and comparing our situation with Bristol City. Well having watched them play the difference is they have Aden Flint a 6'5" attacking centre half and Jamie Patterson who has the happy knack of arriving in the box at the right time!

Fine margins and poor squad management is something we continue to excel at?

12.) 03 Dec 2017 19:36:06
They also had owners who stood by the manager when he cudn't buy a win and refused to let flint go and credit to the lad he just gets better.

26 Nov 2017 22:23:19
Interesting game today.
Warnock did his homework and out foxed us.
Warburton needs to adapt his tatctics to counter other teams.
Tippy tappy passing is good but
Passing round in triangle formations and not getting the ball forward into the oppositions half is again one of the downfalls along with poor defending et al.
We are over run with midfielder players. we need 2 decent experienced defenders at least in January.

Heard on sly sports the forest owner is to stand trial for match fixing. how will this affect forest?
Any ideas?

1.) 09 Nov 2017 09:22:29
Hopefully if true we may win some games :)

2.) 09 Nov 2017 14:55:44
I read in the guardian I think it was it will have no affect on us as it's in Greek league in a way it could help us if he is forced out of Greek football we will get 100% if his attention and efforts

3.) 09 Nov 2017 18:13:54
FBB Your mate Fawaz has a buy back clause which he can exercise now he has learn't his lesson on running a football club! Ha-ha

4.) 09 Nov 2017 19:41:38
It will have no effect on Nffc whatsoever unless Mr M is convicted by the Greek courts when his "fit and proper" status to manage an English club will be reviewed. However firstly it would seem highly unlikely that he will be convicted and secondly due to the parlous and ponderous nature of the Greek justice system we 'll all have died of old age long before!

5.) 10 Nov 2017 11:24:24
Lol, he wouldn't know a thing about clause; well maybe Santa.

6.) 10 Nov 2017 18:17:15
I,M wondering if QPR were nobbled?

7.) 10 Nov 2017 20:00:23
No nobbling we did not have the same Romanian ref as Northern Ireland got?

8.) 10 Nov 2017 20:53:56
. Fawaz being investigated by FIFA and the FA for impersonating a football club owner!

9.) 10 Nov 2017 21:37:40
Carlo,It's simple,we played exceptionally well, why look at it that QPR didn't turn up?or were nobbled?.
The idea of supporting your team and watching them ,is to enjoy the experience, not pick fault when we lose and pick fault with the opposition when we win.

10.) 11 Nov 2017 06:10:51
Maybe it was a bit of humour from Carlo ff?you should relax a bit more.
The club statement about it wa that the Greek has put everything in place in case the worse happens.that doesn’t sound like a innocent man to me.if he was innocent the statement would of been there’s no need to worry as the allegations are totally false and there’s nothing to worry about.imagine having to ring the prison to ask him about day to day things or about if we can spend x amount on a

11.) 11 Nov 2017 10:50:13
Cause it was humour ,how to you think I survive as a Forest fan over the last 19 years ?
Whoo got my tounge stuck in my cheek.

12.) 11 Nov 2017 14:08:34
Or maybe you are just impersonating a Forest fan Carlo? Ha-ha

13.) 11 Nov 2017 15:06:51
Have you ever thought of being a comedy writer ,if so don,t bother HaHa

Round of applause for warbo and the players, Long may it continue

2.) 05 Nov 2017 11:13:58
FF79 they all did well and long may it continue 👍👍👍

3.) 05 Nov 2017 15:00:17
Ff79 its worrying that warburton has not offerex lichja a contract. He has been sensational since reselected!!!!

4.) 05 Nov 2017 16:24:33
Why tell me ?
I want him to stay and if you've red my posts I don't rate darikwa at all,He's a ball watcher with no positional sense.
It's up to the club what happens regarding eric.
Personally hope something can be sorted

5.) 05 Nov 2017 16:43:47
For sure I think we’ve all agreed that Lichaj has made a big difference. Anyone else think he’s making the whole back for more confident?

6.) 05 Nov 2017 21:17:53
100% 2 star, let's just hope that some thing can be sorted.
We are certainly better with him in defence.

{Ed007's Note - Class man, 2Star btw, thank you very much (yes)

7.) 06 Nov 2017 19:13:51
Since eric has been restored into the team the defence has improved.
Erick over darikwa any day.
To me darikwa is a little lazy at times and seems to forget his position.

21 Oct 2017 20:35:35
We do need a stable environment but with warburton he doesn't really know who his best players are? to be honest he should go back to banking.
I feel for the players who could help us win yet can't get into the squad.
He stated in an article from the post he THINKS fox and mancienne may form a good a good partnership, strange coming from the manager.

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 21 Oct 2017 21:07:49
So you do want him sacked then?

2.) 21 Oct 2017 21:53:19
I think Hobbs and Mancienne would make a great partnership but like allpartnerships it depends on fitness and form?

3.) 22 Oct 2017 09:45:50
Was a bit miffed by Warbo on the radio while traveling home from the game.
When asked about Eric's lap after his goal (showing his passion) he was a little negative and then went on to talk about "Not forgetting the good work Tindi has done"???
He certainly has his favourites and to me, Eric is not one and we know Vellios and Carryol are not in favour.
I just hope his stubborn attitude of playing his way with his players is not hindering us.
Burton were shocking, Eric was was poorly marked for his goal so young Clough can't have any complaints

4.) 22 Oct 2017 21:55:00
FF as previously mentioned i never said i want him sacked!
I was just stating my opinion of which i believe offends when you dislike negative comments.....sure you aren't Victor Meldrew?

5.) 22 Oct 2017 21:56:08
Red Dog i mentioned this is a previous post about the breadmans FAVOURITES and yet i got slated hmm!
He has a strange way of thinking.
Good for eric doing a lap of honour despite the negativity from the boss! 😂😂😂

6.) 22 Oct 2017 23:03:56
just buy him a sky diving Xmas present then, without the parachute. I'm sure he wouldn't be "banking"on that?😂😂

Forest 79 Poll

1.) 16 Apr 2018 08:13:42
Well fawaz at least your consistent in always being wrong.
Hindley Winfield Hennessey McKinley
Newton Lyons Baker Wignall Barnwell and my favourite player of all time Ian storey Moore.
1966 and my elder brother used to take me and I'd sit behind the girder at the back of the Trent end, great view and atmosphere.
We came close 66 67 but then things didn't go our way with Barnwell breaking his leg.
Once a red always a red
Seen it all Munich Amsterdam Madrid.
Wembley our second home for a while,Blackpool
The good the bad and the ugly.

2.) 16 Apr 2018 09:17:43
79. what not so well known cup comp did forest play in in the seventies.

3.) 16 Apr 2018 09:45:26
Choosy that would be the Texaco cup or anglo scottish cup.

4.) 16 Apr 2018 10:52:39
Many memories brought back there Forest 79.I was stood on my red and white painted wooden box( would never be allowed now) with my Dad in the Trent End as an 11 year old for FA cup 6th round v Everton when Ian Storey Moore scored the Patrick and we won 3 2. I swear to God when the winner went in (after 3 attempts) the crowd was so packed that my feet didn't touch the ground (or my box) for about 5 minutes! Several Sunday papers said this should have been the Final, pulsating match with Everton fielding the likes of Alan Ball.

The only dark bit was Brian Labone deliberately nobbling Joe Baker which finished him for the season and probably cost us the double. Lahore didn't even get booked, nowadays it would be a straight red and lengthy ban! Joe was never the same player after that.I was there for the 4 one thrashing of Man Utd part of 49 000 (Bridgeford end). Was it Chris Crowe or Mike Kear hat trick? Great attacking team under Johnny Carey. Was the obscure cup competition the Anglo Scottish Texaco cup our first trophy under Clough?

5.) 16 Apr 2018 11:14:50
It's was Chris Crowe stokey and frank Wignall with the other.
Big mistake sacking Carey, like you say baker Barnwell Wignall were getting on a bit as well and Barnwell was never the same after recovering.
Was disappointed I was not allowed to go to the semi final against spurs,My mum couldn't afford for us all to go and being the youngest felt I was too young to go.
Always remember my brother painting a bowler hat red and white and putting all the names on it and seeing him off.
Spurs were always our boggey side then and he saved always seemed to score against us.
Seems somewhere along the line I've turned into a sheep😂😂😂

6.) 16 Apr 2018 11:34:58
Meant to say Greaves always scored against us.

7.) 16 Apr 2018 14:26:56
Memory Lane F79. I remember being at cup quarters in 66/67 and my dad going mental at Brian Labone for carving Joe Baker in half very early on.
My dad was a little very placid man and at 8yrs old I never saw him so angry before or after.
We won but lost to spurs at Hillsbprough I recall ( I wasnt allowed to go with him ) but Dad blamed Labone for us not winning the double that year because Baker never played again that season.
He reckoned Baker wasnt half the player when he came back and was still moaning about it 30 yrs later.
Dad hated Labone wityh a passion

8.) 16 Apr 2018 17:16:25
Well, when I was a lad, we used to work 22 hours, live in a shoe box and got a piece of coal for Xmas. .old farts reminiscing. Love it.😁

9.) 16 Apr 2018 18:26:18
good shout 79 if u can remember us playing kilmarnock in a cold midweek match when the mist realy did roll in from the trent you must be a red ( we are all starting to sound like ron manager from the fast show )

10.) 16 Apr 2018 18:57:45
Me and my brother got a whip and hoop and an orange :).
Pudding was yorkshire pud with jam

11.) 16 Apr 2018 19:08:30
Could do with giving some of the players a whip and hoop, they might move faster😉😉

12.) 16 Apr 2018 21:58:41
Fawaz, I can't believe you called FF79 out here. You only need to read his posts to see he is a red! Even if that didn't convince you, some of his stories from the European exploits just prove that was from someone who was there!

13.) 16 Apr 2018 23:22:30
Scouseduckred a shoebox to live in! We used to dream about such things!

2.) 22 Jan 2018 12:34:51
Your mentioning the wrong person red -1 all I’ve said. Is I wish we could of stuck with a manager I like many fans are fed up with change after change it’s no good for the players the club or the fans and I stick by my guns when I say Karanka as a long way to go yet to prove he’s going to be any good or different to the last 20 managers we’ve had must admit the wolves game was a sign of something special but that’s one game he’s going to need the team to be consistent any manager can have one good game a lot of our past managers have including Brazil I really hope we’ve found the one for the sake of this club but he will definitely need some new signings this window let’s see if the owner backs him I will give you a proper verdict on what I think to Karanka come April let’s hope we go on a great run and fawaz you have chopped and changed your opinions on as many managers as we’ve had over the last ten years so your comments go straight over my head 😴

3.) 22 Jan 2018 16:23:09
Well said skeggs

03 Dec 2017 19:41:48
BS Red.
Mm we may be and i assume you're a believer in warburton.
You can't compare a championship team to a kids team. that is a ridiculous statement and a lame reason to put up a post in defence of warburton.
We all want stability and wins but the way forest are going will they attract the right players come January?
Warburton has limited experience and I'm afraid to say this is showing via forests
11 LOSSES in 20 games isn't a good record is it?
If he's not careful his squad will turn on him and the limited credibility he has will be gone.

Yes at the minute we are in a slightly better position than last season but should we continue to win one lose one or two we will slip down.
I believe nobody on here expected forest to go up but neither do we expect this level of incompetence from the manager in question.
We needed a solid defence but this hasn't been addressed.
We are top heavy with midfielders.

Warburton has had his opportunities to make thing right. but either his stubbornness/ lack of skills or ego has got in the way.
He needs to go back to the basics of football instead of running before he can walk.
He isn't the man to take forest forward.

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 03 Dec 2017 21:45:46
He is a salesman not a football coach😂😂😂😂😂

2.) 03 Dec 2017 22:09:51
So he won't be taking you for a"ride" then😂😂😂

3.) 03 Dec 2017 22:48:44
It’s definatly progression last season we only had 26 points and a goal difference of -4 after 20 games and were 17th.
So warbo has had a a few games at the end of last season a full pre season (last manager didn’t) and we are 1 point better off than last season for all that quality football we have played,o and it was a better league last season.

4.) 04 Dec 2017 08:26:52
Lol fbb he's going to lead us for a long time so you better get use to it in mW we trust ureddssss

5.) 04 Dec 2017 11:04:36
So in Warburton you trust. Why don't I believe you. He is not fit to lace Dougie Freedmans bootlaces. The man who had no money to spend, could only bring in frees or loans but still kept us up. This man who you trust as already spent millions on players who are not up to it, fact.

6.) 04 Dec 2017 12:09:23
Skeggs come on really. . in Warburton we trust. you must a sheep bah bah bah come out with that quip!
Retford is right and you’re still a sheep or in denial.

7.) 04 Dec 2017 15:58:04
skeg what was your thoughts on pm?im sure you wanted him out yet he had 1 less point last season but one goal up on the current team.

03 Dec 2017 19:40:05
Hi All
Myself and Sutton red have had permission from the almighty FF79 to apply for the role as manager of NNFC.
We promise that if this were to happen we would address the following issues.
The defence, the goalkeeper, erics contract, tatctics, how to draw, how to score a goal, playing the players in correct positions and above all to remember to add these words after post match interviews.
Fine margins.

Great possesion.
Darikwa was a key player even though he didn't play today.
Work in progress.
Plan a, plan a and plan a.
We didn't finish our chances.
Anything we have forgotten please leave a post.

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 03 Dec 2017 20:14:50
Two more great negative posts from fawaz.
He tried to sign a goalkeeper,he then got one on loan who unfortunately got injured, the window is closed till next month.
Other than five players he inherited the rest, and don't forget how many times you've told me you don't want him sacked in block capitals.
Anyway thank God it's not up to you with your knee jerk reaction to every defeat.
What happened to behaving in the season of good will?
That lasted all of a day,but I didn't expect any different.

2.) 03 Dec 2017 21:04:43
He tried to sign a keeper that had just come back from a bad injury which we could do without who then got injured for another good period.
Why did he wait til the last minute to try and sign a keeper if he wanted one?the defence needed sorting pre season and he would or should of seen that last season as he was in charge then as well.

also playing player a out of position last season was a big no no yet this season some fans seem to brush this under the carpet!
Ff pearce got us top of the league for a period of time and when it was in decline we were still creating more than 10 chances on goal per game, fans said he was terrible yet you are blowing warbos trumpet to the highest level.warbo has had it easy compared to pearce as well as he was working with fawaz and had to try and re build the club on his own plus sort the team out.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 21:56:22
More warbo statements:
We need to get street wise
I can't fault the effort
We did our homework and were well prepared
There's a ghost in my house " velios " 😂😂😂😂😂

4.) 03 Dec 2017 22:15:23
What’s negative about blatant facts?
You are very quick to to avoid posts such as mine but add quotes like I’m negative or a moaner.
The quicker you take your head out of Warburtons rear and smell the roses you will realise his limitations and abilities as a manager.
You’re entitled to your opinions but be realistic in your response.
You tell me why he is great and for each answer I’ll give a good reason to say otherwise.
Whether I’m right or wrong doesn’t really matter but what should matter is where are forest heading?
Some fans still think and relish the fact Forest are a big club. yes we were once. we are in fact at present and I hate to say this a mediocre championship club who lives on past glory.
Move on from the past, look at what is happening now. present day.
The likes of myself Sutton and a few others see things realistically and not with hazed vision.
Yes we moan and debate but this is because we are fans with passion and vigour.

5.) 03 Dec 2017 22:30:47
We have a director of football who does the job of signing players, that's the reason Warnock.first turned us down and McCarthy.
Warbo only advises who he would like,it's then up to mcparland to do the deal.
Pearce wanted the same, that's how clubs are now run, they identified the Danish lad and forwatever reason it didn't happen.
What should he then do?just sign any goalkeeper? That would just give you even more to moan about when he was crapp.
Defenders ?he inherited more sick notes than I've ever seen at one club.
Hobbs good player, but finished when we signed him,fox bought as a left back?was garbage at it.
Mills? No one's ever liked him.
Manciene? Soft
Vaughan? To old
Cohen?great servant and I hope we give home a job,but finished.
That's the experienced players we have, all under contract and I don't see many takers for them when the contracts are up.
You need to stop being angry and try a little patience.

6.) 03 Dec 2017 23:40:45
Fawaz ,You asked the question where are we heading?
Simple the right direction, but with lots of bumps.
You really are impatient,I've said it before, this club owes me nothing I've had some great times, I embraced every minute of the success we had,I enjoy my match days full stop, even now and I've seen far worst in between.
The one thing your missing is the state this club was left in,I'm surprised anyone would want to buy it,bearing in mind we don't own the ground.
So the Greeks have bought it purely on what sir Brian achieved.
They put MW in charge they have kept quiet, unlike you, there is obviously a plan between them to move us forward long term, maybe your too short sighted to see that?

7.) 04 Dec 2017 07:27:25
So glad your talking about "NNFC" mate and not NFFC!!!

8.) 04 Dec 2017 12:20:29
The Greeks haven’t brought into Forest’s glory days or Clough legacy.
Warburton was one many who was interviewed and unfortunately got the vacant position.
He is a former banker for crying out loud with limitations.
He probably got the role via his sale patter.
End of the day FF79 we are divided individuals on both sides of the fence.
Me anti Warburton and you Pro.
To me and others we feel he isn’t what he claims to be.
You know the score FF.
I’m realistic and man enough to say it as it is and I’m also the 1st to admit when I have made a mistake.
I don’t profess to know about management but we fans know when something isn’t right with his tactics etc.
Take a deep breath and relax it’s only a game.

9.) 04 Dec 2017 12:50:58
Fawaz bank balance.

Warburton is far from being a brilliant manager, but what has his previous employment got to do with his ability to do a good job of managing Forest. Mourinino was just a translator yet is one of the best managers there is.

I'm in agreement with FF and Rutland.
Krankie has a mountain and a lot of issues to address.
To play a failing squad twice in succession seems a strange tactic.
Yes the slate has been wiped clean but still bizarre?
Picking up the pieces. Yes he is doing just that but so do other managers when a new one is appointed.

A tradesman never blames his tools for poor workmanship and granted Krankie does have some tools in his squad.
I know if I was a professional footballer regardless of who I played for I would give my best each game for the fans and for my team.

The squad at forest should try working for a living in the real world then they maybe they would be humbled into playing their hearts out!
They need a rocket up their rears.

I did, he was on his way to the city ground to apply for the position of half time entertainer with his talking unicorn who sounds like Billy Davies.

What's Happening?
These players are not worthy of a pub shirt nevermind a forest one!
To the wire yet again, should of left Brazil in charge!
I'm sorry Karanka as nice and honest as you are your words do not reflect on the pitch where it counts.
Got a feeling MR.M will not tolerate the lack lustre performances of late.

2Star a very good post and also very true.
Billy the King got so close.
Has AK the tools to get Forest Up next season?
Well that’s questionable, a major shake up is needed.
Marinakis will not put up with performances of late.

Why Bamford?
Don't see the hype plus wages would be higher. Personally I'd delve into division one to find a decent striker.
