Excellent result today. One good chance & we took it. AK dropped the worst weak links from midweek, straight out of the 18. Yacob MOM imo, so cool; he took a lot of heat of CB's.
No game time for Watson for a while.
Benny's playing streak comes to an end but the correct decision given the result.
Performance A+

Benny will be off in Jan,!
CARLO

2.) 05 Nov 2018 11:38:37
Why? He is hardly going to save Raffa and has more chance of passing him on the way up!

Wait for a goal & then 5 come along. Chuffed to bits, especially against cheeky chappie Holloway.(9 over two games. whoops ha ha)

Daryl Murphy not too bad. Clearly given his age he has the experience to pass down. His fitness can't be an issue, if he's passed medical. So MW looking not to spend too much (which DM's age dictates) but to find a striker with a slightly different style to BA. A box presence to draw defenders and make gaps. Youth is the future but BB still needs a bit more time. DM will permit this, so MW knows what he's doing imo. As an aside, DM is a humble chap. bumped into him at Bolton (a) season before last.

Great signing, he will be good for this season. The 3 year contract is questionable but his agent will have dictated that.

Maybe the Burton result was the bitter pill that needed to be swallowed; for the result today & the team selection looking forward?

Fighter pilot

1.) 04 Nov 2018 05:45:24
The team has had several bitter pills this season already. They should know by now what is expected of them.

2.) 04 Nov 2018 10:04:31
I watched the game on SS and have to say that the performance really was attrocious. It's one of those games where you're constantly rolling eyes, shaking you're head, and shouting at the TV 'what the hell was that' or 'someone tackle him, then!!'

Nice to see the MOM in the ground actually was the correct choice. AG was a different person to the end of last season.
Foxy, what a turn around. From a crap hoofing LB, to frozen out like a leper under DF. To CB & now captain.
And all the time he stayed professional, dug in & waited for his chance.
I am glad to have been proven wrong. Quality.

i suppose in a way a point is better than none. had worral been playing. you could guarantee he would have made the mistake to let them score to win the game. were ever worral is. let him stay there

2.) 08 Aug 2018 06:40:04
It's a shame, we definitely deserved all 3 points but need to be more clinical in front of goal. Goncalves didn't track back for their goal, Phillips was his man.

3.) 08 Aug 2018 07:39:46
Looked like the same problems to me tbh. Nice football no end product - the nice football is at least being played further up the pitch . 20 shots on goal 5 on target says all you need to know.

West Brom came to defend and defended well? Or do we still lack a killer punch? Concerned by how weak our fullbacks look. Darikwa gave the ball away cheaply a few times.

Lolley - a dreadful performance hope we don’t see him Saturday.

Colback, guedioura and Figueiredo absolutely outstanding but they weren’t the problem last year were they?

Grabban- 😐 not sure if I’m honest.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 08:56:32
2 star it wasn't a bad performance mate,it was excellent passing and flowing football at times, just lacked that bit of composure in the final third.
Lolley played well it was just his decision making when he had his chances.
Darikwa and Osborn are converted wingers, so has the manager failed to see this and act on it?
Full backs have been a problem for years now, especially left back, but it never seems to get addressed.
All in all a pleasing performance for me, certainly more positives than negatives.

5.) 08 Aug 2018 10:10:02
Once it all clicks we will be unbeatable and as fir grabbing he will start banging them in just needs that first goal

6.) 08 Aug 2018 10:16:46
Was one of better performance but still think we're missing that striker with a killer punch would like to see soudani put on earlier think he has more to prove than grabban would like another striker in and another defender please no more midfielders

7.) 08 Aug 2018 10:47:10
Guys, thanks for your great responses , very much in agreement especially regarding the full backs.

Will be at Norwich tonight. Must just keep Madison quiet. He is their main man (boy). Spurs are sniffing about him.
Hopefully Ben & Jack's experience will shut him out.

What an effort! Not even a month at the helm & AK has seen enough & ringed the changes. To achieve all this takes some effort. Hopefully Manc will be stripped of the captaincy (too quiet) & midfield ( the issue since McKenna/loss of CC) can be what it needs to be - serving the forwards/shielding the backs.

I hope manc is dropped πŸ˜•!!!

Imo Osborn at the right price. Sell. Puts in the graft but when midfield simply not enough goals or physical presence.Thats why Watson & co came in.As LB just too small as Cardiff showed.
Versatile, but since his Ipswich debut his progression has stalled.

Bassong is woeful. Norwich were glad to be rid. I may be wrong but was Bassong not part of more than one relegated first team squads (different clubs). A bit Lescott esque?

Maybe AK sees value in Lolley & with his age wants to tie him to a long contract with the possibility that bids may come in at a later date whereby the length of contract will effect (raise) the bid. I don't believe AK is naive on this.Lets see how Lolley fares.

Manc is a confidence player & that is all but completely gone in him.
In this league there simply isn't time to nurture it back. The games come too quick & top to bottom, the intensity & demands of the teams means no one can be carried.

Cheers Mance. @ least 7 points lost due to him alone this season.

2 tonight for the 'play the man' free kick.
Ipswich away. What a horror show x2
Home game shortly after, more derrr defending.

AK on 30/6, move him on.

Unbelievable CIG. If playing at Chelsea rocks your boat just go and support them.
As a supporter i am only interested in watching the reds play & their performance, the opposition holds no interest.
The so called supporters who wait for oh Arsenal, Chelsea to come to town to then show up are just fake.
Preston at home tomorrow is a good day out, just like every other Forest game (subject to performance).

Agree on 8 of 10. Cohen should seek a development/pr role within the club now as his playing days are few, as he represents the club in a good light, carries himself well & could mentor the youngsters. Fox should stay. Too many people slate Fox for how he was before being dropped long term. Yet he plodded on, got his chance & proved to be a solid CB to great surprise. He still offers flexibility (LB) & clearly a wise head on older shoulders, which we still need some about.
