The manager we need was stood in the Brentford technical area and he can bring left back with him,
Good manager who plays attractive football and best left back I've seen this season in championship.

1.) 11 Apr 2018 09:18:54
yep, let's change the manager again, he has been here far to long!! I give up!

2.) 11 Apr 2018 10:49:56
Shame we can’t just get rid of some of our fans as quick as they want rid of the managers?!?!

3.) 11 Apr 2018 12:18:33
I expect no less from "glass half empty" FF79, he may give us a break and forget his password again

4.) 11 Apr 2018 12:20:09
I remember about 3 years ago, when Psycho was in charge, people wanted him replaced with the fella that was in charge of Brentford, due to his success and their great football.

That all worked out well!!

Careful what you wish for

5.) 11 Apr 2018 12:36:29
Red dog I say it how it is 14 points from 16 games and no goals in six games that spells big trouble.
Looks like warbo has saved us two seasons running.
No wonder my glass is half empty.
If your happy watching Karanka football then that's your problem.🍻🍻

6.) 11 Apr 2018 13:11:31
No 79, you say it how your warped mind sees it, not "as it is"
I didn't like what I saw last night and think BB needs to be in the u23s as he's not good enough yet
I also saw a few players that AK brought in creating chances that we could not finish.he has had one window to beg and borrow players so he needs the summer and a pot to add to the squad.
Warbo would have carried on creating a lightweight side resembling the Scottish championship.
I will keep supporting AK in his efforts. Warbo has gone (thank god) so get on with it and stop the tears.

7.) 11 Apr 2018 13:48:04
So I'm imagining he's only won three games and we can't score to save our lives.
No I'm not it's what I've witnessed first hand
You keep backing him pal,It won't be for long.

8.) 11 Apr 2018 15:39:01
Problem with you mate is you seem to want him to fail so you can gloat and keep waffling on about Warbo?
I want him to succeed and back him as I did Warbo until he drained me of any confidence I had in him. AK did not have a summer to plan, he was thrown in at the deep end during the winter transfer window less tgan 4 months ago and you want him out?
Let's protest and ask for Maronakis to sell as we are not back in the premiership????
Some people

9.) 11 Apr 2018 16:24:37
Red dog why would I want him to fail and put myself through the agony of watching it?
That's just a childish comment pal.
I've never wanted any manager to fail.
When it becomes obvious a manager is failing then I will say so
Plain fact is I've seen two home goals and one win since he came and I'm not the only one who doesn't like what's being served up?so have a go at them as well, there's plenty of them.
He's had four months and if the points weren't already there we'd be looking at relegation.
It's nothing personal just do not trust him and don't want another season of struggle.

10.) 11 Apr 2018 16:49:53
Warbo v karanka it's a no contest warbo comes up on top, does this make him a better manager, the answer is no, the time to analyse karanka will be December, until then can we all stand together and stop the squabbling and get behind the team.

11.) 11 Apr 2018 17:04:32
Well said Breadman.

12.) 11 Apr 2018 18:24:57
Spot on mate.

13.) 11 Apr 2018 18:29:17
With you all the way breadman, give him a fair crack at the whip before running him out of town

14.) 11 Apr 2018 19:50:02
Who's running him out of town?
It's a banter site and marinakis will take no notice of what fans say on social media.
He'll decide if he stays or goes,We just have our own opinion that's all.

15.) 11 Apr 2018 21:14:51
If Karanka had taken over at the start of the season we'd be in the bottom 3, probably bottom actually! the team is worse now under him, can't score to save our lives! Thankfully MW was able to get a few points that'll keep us up! If after 10 games next season when we are inevitably bottom AK will be out!

16.) 11 Apr 2018 21:22:19
Just a thought boys. Did Mr Marinakis build his considerable business empire based on making snap decisions whilst in an emotionally fuelled frenzy? Or were they the product of consultation and the honest input of the people around him? I'd like to think its the latter. At NOTTINGHAM FOREST he seems to have good honest people around him. Yes the ultimate decision is going to be his and it will be based on good business sense. But for me , for now Karanka is the best man for the job at hand. Let's all back and his team for a while, eh lads.UR's

17.) 11 Apr 2018 21:43:44
I'm with you on this Reddog. Truth be told, Warbo is right up there with the likes of Megson et al. How can you turn a blind eye to the fact he came in at the back end of the season, pretty much saw where our frailties were, then had the whole summer to address those issues. Warbo ignored the obvious, brought in players that were just not up to the standard of this league, and we haven't started on his shocking formations, tactics, and football philosophy! Even now, what is the point of 95% possession, and still lose! AK's only crime at the moment is he didn't bring in any creative or forward players which we desperately need, and would have made the difference. He might not be the right man, but surely we have to give him more time? If you want instant results in this league, you need Warnock in!

18.) 11 Apr 2018 21:46:21
Business is one thing.
Take a look at his record as a football owner?
More managers than you can shake a stick at,despite winning the league for four years on the trot.
Now he's sent them all away on holiday sacked the manager and threatened to put academy players in their place and most won't be there next season, all because they drew a game.
You make your own mind up?

19.) 11 Apr 2018 22:09:59
Reddog/Murdoch πŸ‘

20.) 11 Apr 2018 22:13:30
I don't think his expectations of his two club are going to be comparable. He clearly has football knowledge . Olymiacos are expected to win their league at a canter season after season against very limited opposition. Championship football is a different proposition of which I am sure he is fully aware. He would be a fool to ditch AK without transfer backing and he seems to me to be anything but.

21.) 11 Apr 2018 23:21:10
How about a JV between Billy and that Leeds owner Cellini ? We could bring Steve Evans in as head of public liaison ? Thoughts ?

22.) 12 Apr 2018 18:19:05
Joe Kinnear for public liaisonπŸ˜€

03 Apr 2018 22:58:01
2 star we have a manager who has won three out of 14 games failed to score in nine of them and people on here ate doing cartwheels about what a great manager.
Don't get the hype about him at all.
Warbo had a better win rate in his last 14 games and got sacked.
Another nil nil on Saturday two boring tactician will see to that.
Forgot my pass word so new name but same me.

1.) 04 Apr 2018 09:53:04
The difference now to when warbo was here is the fact we are more organised, we don't have as many light weight players, we have a manage who has a plan B and knows what he's doing. Am happy to see a nil nil better than losing and conceding 3 goals every game as i said when he got the job he is a rich mans dougie.

2.) 04 Apr 2018 10:10:29
FF, welcome back. As to the question of AK being the answer to all of Forest's problems? Yes the jury is still out. Is he the best fit for Forest at the moment, given the shambles we've been in? Personally I think yes. The acid test will be when a poor run occurs, will the owners pull the trigger? If the fans don't disappear, he'll be relatively safe. I hope he's still in charge, this time next year.

3.) 04 Apr 2018 11:23:27
Lower bc I never enjoy watching any nil nil might as well not play the game if it's approached in that spirit?

4.) 04 Apr 2018 12:51:46
Not all games ending 0-0 aren’t good to watch what we all want to see are players committed to the team 100 percent effort obviously good football and efforts on goal
Missed chances woodwork ect are part of the game
I think we are getting there step by step

5.) 04 Apr 2018 14:58:24
Karankas crap sack him he's Dougie bloody freedman in disguise

6.) 04 Apr 2018 17:41:44
Bring back prince billy πŸ˜‚

7.) 04 Apr 2018 20:57:58
FF79, it’s been a while ! is your post a response to a post from me?

8.) 04 Apr 2018 21:14:11
Yes 2 star it was meant to go on banter after you saying ball needs to roll into the met, which it does need to start doing.
Just feel fans are getting carried away by thinking Karanka is the one and it's just a matter of signing a striker and things will be ok?.
More too it than that, you have to create the chances for a striker to score and were not doing that.

9.) 04 Apr 2018 21:35:16
Spot on pal, I thought it was linked to that one - it made sense. Goals are needed badly, very badly.

10.) 04 Apr 2018 21:36:12
Where have ya been hiding anyway ?

11.) 04 Apr 2018 21:59:57
Round at UTFs ?

12.) 04 Apr 2018 22:28:49
Things are changing from the top and all the way down through the club. Results will improve .Goals will come . We shall prevail. We are NOTTINGHAM FOREST ! !

13.) 05 Apr 2018 19:43:43
We'll said mate!!

14.) 05 Apr 2018 22:05:34
Just when you think the Foremoaners have been put back in their box a nother one pop's back up?
I guess this will go with the territory for the rest of the season whilst AK sorts out the rest of who stays and goes before putting his promotion challenging squad together for next season.
Karanka is a proven winner and will get a great reception at the Riverside on Saturday.
Onward and Upward.

15.) 06 Apr 2018 11:28:39
Garcia "Quit" Olympiacos. Marinakis again showing that he is not prepared to settle for mediocrity. And neither it seems is AK.Money will be spent wisely. It's just a case of how much will be made available.

16.) 06 Apr 2018 12:28:57
Karanka had better get some wins behind him then, with marinakis record with managers,he won't last long if our win record doesn't improve.
Can't see him throwing much money at it,already committed to spending 2 million on tobias and he's gave him a fair bit to bring in players last transfer window, loans or free maybe, but they don't come cheap.
Will take a massive clearout first before signings, the squad is far to big as it is and most are under contract.
Ffp has to be kept in order,so it's going to take some wheeling and dealing, there won't be no Stella signings that's for sure.

17.) 06 Apr 2018 14:08:18
He could start looking at 'keepers. 5 at the moment.

Can anyone name a player of the season?
For me I don't think anyone is worthy of that that title this season ?

1.) 25 Apr 2018 19:19:14
Tobias, he has looked at ease since joining us.

2.) 25 Apr 2018 19:24:10
Osborn has probably played the most games this season and generally puts a shift in, not convinced he's a left back nor do I think it's where he wants to play, but for me he has been the most consistent player in another lack lustre season. Fingers crossed, there are better times ahead.

3.) 25 Apr 2018 19:36:47
We were discussing it last night on the way home from the game and really it's difficult to look beyond Osborn as he's played in most games, but he's only had an average season and the new recruits havn't been here long enough ?
I'd like to give it to Chris Cohen and David Vaughan jointly for their services to this great club in their last season.
Some recognition for their services???

4.) 25 Apr 2018 19:48:24
The legend that is Matty Mills.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

5.) 25 Apr 2018 20:00:11
Rogie , normally they make statues, but they've decided to fill mills boots with concrete for services rendered and place them on show.
Turns out they didn't need filling.

6.) 25 Apr 2018 20:13:42
My mistake he was a statue most the time.
Full your boots.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

7.) 25 Apr 2018 22:17:35
The player of the season has to be Osborn as he I believe may have played in every match either starting or a very occasional sub. He is 100 % committed in a Chris Cohen manner. He has adapted to playing at left back without complaint. The most improved player is Cash.

8.) 25 Apr 2018 23:29:18
Zach clough 🀣🀣🀣

9.) 25 Apr 2018 23:36:54
Good call WAAC. Toby gets my vote

10.) 26 Apr 2018 02:21:22
Reckon his headband should be framed and on permanent display in the trophy room! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

11.) 26 Apr 2018 06:27:01
The best person to award it to this season is nobody. Nobody deserves it and if Osborn is the best person to receive the award I’m afraid that really shows how bad we’ve been.

24 Apr 2018 23:00:11
Good first half died second half when the old legs tired and then picked up when Lolly came on again.
Easy win against a side who will be relegated.
By far the worst side I've seen this season at the city ground and their fans know it by singing "Accrington Stanley were coming to you"

1.) 24 Apr 2018 23:48:52
Worst team but best song of the season

24 Apr 2018 20:43:34
Enjoyable first half cash is superb and giving pinilos the run around.
Two great goals and great in shows what he can do when the right ball is played.
Well done keep it up.
Shame about Fuentes looked a bad tackle to me.

1.) 24 Apr 2018 20:50:53
Brereton can do when right balls played to him, meant to say.

2.) 24 Apr 2018 21:51:42
Nice win lads well done

3.) 24 Apr 2018 23:13:36
Played better without colback skeggs bit more pace and forward thinking with Bridcutt in

4.) 24 Apr 2018 23:40:02
Bridcutt could be a class player for us next season great signing at a bargain price 😁

24 Apr 2018 12:59:54
See jack Hobbs is in tonight's squad.
Karanka says he wants to have a look at him?
We've hardly seen him in five seasons ,time to move on from him and send him on his way.

1.) 24 Apr 2018 15:12:37
He is able to play just before his contract is up such amazing luck for him lol or am I just being cynical :)

22 Apr 2018 09:06:11
I can see Nigel pulling off a great escape by beating Bolton on Saturday and then us sending Bolton down on the last day.
That would be some achievement from being bottom most the season

1.) 22 Apr 2018 10:37:15
Liam Boyce back to full fitness and is someone we could do with next season?

2.) 22 Apr 2018 10:45:41
We could do with another 10 players next season let's just hope they ain't all as bad as the last 10 players bought in lot of work to be done by marankis and karanka wonder how many fans expecting a top 10 finish next season and if we're in bottom half this time next season I wonder how many karanka lovers will want him gone πŸ€”

Well then enjoy 2 star and he'll make Osborn one as well covering for anything down the left or midfield,is that really the way forward???

Hope your right red,I just don't think he'll turn us round and can't see where the money will come from to sign quality players.
We all know managers prefer their own players, but they all inherit players, warbo did as well.
Most the squad are contracted and it's not easy to move so many players in one go.
If he wants a small squad of players that can play in different positions, that tells me we won't be signing quality.
Far as I'm concerned a striker is a striker and a defender is a defender, utility players do a job,but without being good enough to make it count when needed.
If he carries on bringing in old players then we'll always have injuries and most will be here for one last payday.
When you say performances ,then you mean last night's,because if you have been to the city ground lately, you will know performances have been dreadful and he's played at least five of his signings in those games.
So for me I'm not witnessing anything better than I've seen since Billy,of anything at times it's worst

Thought we looked a better team without colback creepy?
He doesn't do much wrong neat and tidy simple pass, but no urgency in his play,Can see why Benitez wants rid,Not quick enough for the prem.
We get leggy in second halves, but Lolly changed that, what a dribble taking out four men like that.
Shows we were right to let pinilos go,cash ran him ragged.
First game I've enjoyed for a while some more of that on Saturday against better opposition and I'll be happy.
