We are clearly struggling for a centre forward, Then let us look back in history to Malcom Macdonald who was a full back with Fulham but when moved to centre forward broke the scoring records with Luton and, for five years with Newcastle. Having seen him throughout his career Murillo looks every bit the same player. Give him a game up front we have plenty of cover at the back but nothing up front!

Now is the time for the Forest Board to get up the road to Lincoln and sign a good management team (in the ilk of Clough and Taylor from Hartlepool to Derby) who will succeed in taking us forward! Please, not Steve Bruce or Big Sam, let us have some fresh faces.

Last year when they appointed him I said "we need a good young enterprising management team so send the word to Lincoln that we would like Danny and family at the City Ground. Working with no finance resources they got promotion, had a great cup run and are now third in the league in their first season. With their team building and our talented young squad the sky would be the limit. Our answer is just up the A46 not down a list of sacked losers."
The only difference now is they are top of their league.
Come on Chairman get your negotiators up to Lincoln.

After Murphy came on at half time it was like playing with 10 men. He contributed nothing apart from bungling a fabulous MC opening. He appears to have neither the pace or determination to fit in to this side. I agree we should give Vellios a chance as we help Brereton improve his skills and confidence.

Lets have a successful team and get up to Lincoln. What a great choice Danny Cowley (Plus brother & father) would be for the City Ground. I know that you will feel its a gamble just as Derby did when Clough and Taylor joined from Hartlepool. All the current applicants have been sacked with poor win ratios, well look at these lads record! Come on Forest Board show some enterprise and courage.
