Any news on the new CEO.

1.) 08 Aug 2016 10:25:32
Don't know, but also need news on ground safety, possible takeover and how are Nffc getting the money. Fawaz was having a proper rant on Twitter last night, all in Arabic, the translation seemed to be aimed at people who get at him and how he only wants to do right for the club and what he as tried to do.

2.) 08 Aug 2016 11:50:45
I think CEO will be sorted when the new owner is in place. He has his preference I'm sure.

3.) 08 Aug 2016 20:13:51
We already have a CEO based in Athens running the books. The new owner will not become an officer of the club for the forseeable future either until the football nonsense in Greece is sorted or they leave the EU when Greece will get back to their normal business!

25 Apr 2016 13:37:28
Fawaz out of the country at the moment. Recently had Greek friends over. Is he about to sell.

1.) 25 Apr 2016 15:09:31
only if they give him his 65 million back!

2.) 25 Apr 2016 15:35:48
As of the last accounts He had loaned NFFC 82 million +this years accounts estimated to be 20 million.
As Villa being talked about for sale for Β£100 million l fail to see what anyone would be buying for this amount.

3.) 25 Apr 2016 18:12:49
Depends how desperate he is to sell and how much the potential buyer wants us as to what he will get for the club. It won't necessarily be driven by the amount of loans he has out in.

4.) 25 Apr 2016 22:57:58
Leicester are doing us a big favour.

The dream is real.

5.) 26 Apr 2016 11:40:03
22-What are you on about? 😡.

6.) 26 Apr 2016 13:09:38
If Fawaz wants to sell the club and get his money back is as I see it. Is that he sells a controlling interest in the club, so that another party can run the club, and if Forest do get promoted then he can get the rest of his money back, from monies forthcoming from the promotion, then hand over the rest of the club.

7.) 26 Apr 2016 16:16:05
Jaj Are you the gateman to Fawaz Towers otherwise your post is all Greek to me?

07 Apr 2016 20:37:23
Fawaz talking to 2 Managers who have got teams into the Premier League. Do we believe him.

1.) 07 Apr 2016 20:48:50
That has to be either o'Neil or Pearson. Why lie.
He has only stated he's in talks, that could feasibly be true.

2.) 07 Apr 2016 20:56:09
Billy Davies and Alex McLeish.

3.) 07 Apr 2016 21:09:27
Brendon Rodgers - Swansea up.

4.) 07 Apr 2016 21:11:28
Why doesn't he speak to managers to keep us in the Championship πŸ˜‰.

5.) 07 Apr 2016 21:55:25
He also said they have links with Nottingham. So that could be Oneil or Pearson?

6.) 07 Apr 2016 22:52:40
It could just be a publicity stunt to get fans back onside and sell season tickets.

7.) 07 Apr 2016 22:55:17
Keane! Got Sunderland promoted!

8.) 08 Apr 2016 10:25:19
ID take Keane. wouldn't take any mess from Fawaz. would all end in tears though. O'Neill would be the best choice, but I think he will stay with Ireland.

9.) 08 Apr 2016 10:38:12
apparently they have links to nottingham. Pearson, O'Neil, Clough. Keane. seems to be keeping his cards close to his chest at this point. he has also said he has a lot of interest from foreign managers just incase a british one doesn't work out.

10.) 08 Apr 2016 13:29:13
No please not Keane. He's a thug. A disgrace.

11.) 08 Apr 2016 16:15:53
Mctree. any other managers out there with a better championship record than him available that won't be a door mat for Fawaz? Pearson i'd take too. we need some balls with the next appointment.

Williams should have walked if Fawaz was interfering.

12.) 08 Apr 2016 17:55:32
I see the idea of keeping all announcements to the media strictly controlled to develop good PR relations and stop hearsay and rumour has been kicked out of the window yet again. FAH loves all this stuff about what he is going to do and what a wonderful man he must be etc. etc. The doo-doo just gets deeper, guess soon we'll be copying Blackpool.

06 Apr 2016 18:16:06
Williams considering his future due to interference from Fawaz. IE wanting certain players in the side, and tactics.

1.) 06 Apr 2016 18:40:53
At the risk of repeating myself. Any manager will ultimately fail under this owner, until we change that the downward spiral will continue. The man is a poisonous wart on the face of a once great club. let's hope we find a decent buyer with half a clue how to run a football club and treat his staff. We only have 46 points due to DF's efforts which are looking like pretty good work under the circumstances. Still he had to be sacked and I can see why with the results we have had since he left.
Fawaz is to blame.

2.) 06 Apr 2016 18:52:15
You lot believe owt!

3.) 06 Apr 2016 19:02:59
No smoke without fire! There has been talk of this sort of thing before. Fawaz wanting to interfere in team affairs is not a good sign. Mick Mc Carthy had no interest in us, apparently for this very reason, the deal for the Algerians comes to mind. No decent manager will come near us if this is the case. Maybe this is why Fawaz wants a coach and not a manager? He also said today we are close to appointing a CEO to drive the club forward, not going to happen if Fawaz doesn't trust this CEO and let him/ her get on with the job. Time will tell, but Fawaz has some very important decisions to make and for the clubs sake I hope he makes good ones!

4.) 06 Apr 2016 19:09:38
A good decision would be a welcome change. Can't remember one since he arrived apart from getting rid of McLaren.

5.) 06 Apr 2016 19:11:06
I said when dougie went fawaz has put williams in so he can have his say with the team
If true he really needs to go.

6.) 06 Apr 2016 19:12:14
Come to think of it I think McLaren walked so not really a decision.

7.) 06 Apr 2016 19:39:06
McLaren walked October 11 following the wrongful dismissal of Billy Davis at the bequest of Mark Arthur and local having steered an average squad into the playoffs for two Years running.

Enter mclaren with ND and MA thinking he could do better, by October stirring down the barrel of league one, bye bye mckaren hello cottrell. ND realising he'd made a dreadful error by putting the ego of the local paper and his CEO before the paying fans quit as chairman then was tragically taken from us.

Relegation avoided only becAuse Pompey were docked points - their demise now in full swing.

Summer 2012 enter FAH and family and what now looks like a tragedy for the club. The appointment of mclaren though was not a saga in the FAH tragedy.

Dark times now for many years - quite honestly I've had enough now, bored of forest, bored of football bored of the overpaid gits who have no morals, grace or integrity.

8.) 06 Apr 2016 19:40:29
Fawaz is and always has been the problem. Until he walks we're shafted.

9.) 06 Apr 2016 19:50:30
Wow. How quick life goes when you are in constant bad times. My apologies 2 star. Think I too need a break from football.

10.) 06 Apr 2016 20:09:50
Easy for it all to become a forgettable blur mate.

I've had enough for sure now, it's just to much to take now.

11.) 06 Apr 2016 23:14:31
Cheer up the cricket season statrs this month. At least we have one extremely well organised and successful sports team on the banks of the Trent.

Remember their fortunes changed once they got rid of a rubbish CEO. Unfortunately he ended up at Forest and lumbered us with the Sultan of Swing!

Onward and upward.

12.) 07 Apr 2016 08:38:54
Hope so red.

13.) 07 Apr 2016 12:33:03
Albert Hall Osborne Suite Tonight at 7.30pm ref Seat Pitch article, Supporters to organise a Supporter's Trust.

14.) 07 Apr 2016 13:16:31
Can't go but good development. Much to learn from fc utd of mcr I think.

15.) 07 Apr 2016 12:30:09
The only consolation might be that other clubs are suffering the same problems we are. Fulham's owner keeps appointing managers, Bolton are in massive debt and so it goes on. FFP is a weight round the necks of clubs and has not and will not ensure a level playing field, probably because it's either run by FIFA or EUFA both of which are corrupt organisations. On the brighter side, there is an upcoming meeting at the Royal (? ) Hall in nottingham to gather fans together and build an organisation that can represent us. Maybe in the case of FAH it's us who have to do the shifting instead of just opting out and giving up?

16.) 07 Apr 2016 15:27:11
Do not see where the next points are coming from. BHA are one of the best passing sides in the Championship. I tell you all now this will be a banker away Monday, BHA to win by 3 or 4 goals, I am going for 0-4.

The whole Club is a mess right from Fawaz down to the worms on the pitch! If an approving Charlton win at QPR Saturday (and I believe they will) Forest will be in a relegation battle. The home games to Wolves and Blackburn will prove pivotal.

04 Apr 2016 17:30:19
I was talking to a Forest legend before the game on Saturday regarding he present situation as to the new manager, and he mentioned the usual suspects, but also said that he had received telephone calls from the agents of Gary Bowyer and Paul, Ince, asking what the situation was. Any views.

1.) 04 Apr 2016 17:49:13
Yes and they're not repeatable.

2.) 04 Apr 2016 20:14:55
Theyre exactly the type of manager we don't need so you're probably spot on given the arabs past record.

3.) 04 Apr 2016 21:02:14
A very poor owner. But 'an Arab' what's this 1970?

4.) 04 Apr 2016 21:15:47
Its what he is, is it not?

Whats your point?

5.) 05 Apr 2016 10:00:06
You're not allowed to say Arab anymore, they're a 'heterogeneous collection of Arabic-speaking peoples in the Middle East and North Africa'.

Sort it out, NFFC1973!

6.) 05 Apr 2016 11:04:51
Fair play lol.

7.) 05 Apr 2016 14:03:09
Think Bowyer and Ince worth talking to. Young, enthusiastic and not someone coming down from Premier League with an eye on a quick return if Forest don't go straight up.

8.) 05 Apr 2016 14:46:28
Try say'n what you posted Wonkey, after you've had a few! Lol!

9.) 05 Apr 2016 14:58:37
Couldnt disagree more especially about ince. He must have a worse record than dougie.
We need a proven manager to create the stability craved by our brilliant owner.

10.) 05 Apr 2016 15:20:56
1973 u don't know what the point is? Everyone else does.

11.) 05 Apr 2016 16:23:00
NFFC1973 who would you suggest? If you are going to disagree then give a better option. We are a relegated championship side. I would like NC personally.

12.) 05 Apr 2016 17:57:25
Now that Rangers are more or less promoted, Mark Warburton for me, if he fancied a real challenge! . And Muscer mate, we are not down and out by any means, I reckon we have just about enough about us to stay up, if our lot grow a pair! . We all know it's pretty bad at the moment, please guys just keep the faith, and get this dreadful season out of the way first!

What are the odds even if Assambalonga is still injured in January he will still go to the African Nations Cup.

1.) 19 Dec 2016 16:49:42
If he does sell him, no loyalty to the club who stood by him πŸŽ…πŸ˜Ž.

2.) 19 Dec 2016 17:29:50
Yes sell him no loyalty to the club lol I would say some fans have no loyalty to the players that play well for the club he gives a 100 percent everytime he's on the pitch could come back for the last few games and still be our top scorer πŸ˜†πŸ˜Ž.

3.) 19 Dec 2016 17:37:03
Is it possible that PM has been told not to play him but to keep him fit. He could then go to the ANC and someone at Forest (at the moment) could receive a cash reward.

4.) 19 Dec 2016 17:55:48
If he hasn't played for us regularly it would be wrong for him to go to the african nations. Forest pay his wages and he should put us before internationals at the moment.

5.) 19 Dec 2016 18:34:11
You are right Skegsjay, allways gives his best, allways got a smile, but he is not irreplaceable, i think he should stay home and help the club that brought him through and pays his wages, we could be in a relegation battle so his goals could be vital, he will be gone if we face the drop, he won't want to play in the Div1 againπŸŽ„πŸ˜Ž.

6.) 19 Dec 2016 18:40:24
He's a young player still with plenty of talent best striker in this league by far if we don't keep hold of him we will go many more seasons with poor strikers up front.

7.) 19 Dec 2016 20:01:00
Britt is looking for a a way out of this club. Fact.

8.) 19 Dec 2016 20:22:06
Sorry hftf forgot your best mates and talk to him everyday on the phone and if its like any of your other fact's to go by he will be with us till he retires lmaoπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜.

9.) 19 Dec 2016 22:20:40
I can assure you all my information is 100% correct. Like this whole debacle that no one saw coming.

10.) 19 Dec 2016 22:40:56
HFTF You are getting really boring now at stating the bl**ding obvious and pontificating as the font of all knowledge at the City Ground! Unless you have copies of each players contracts your announcements of fact are pure speculation. When this takeover gets completed I'll have wager that the Forest "injury" list clears up overnight and PM has almost a full squad to pick from?

11.) 20 Dec 2016 08:25:09
Maybe so this is a rumour site pal. I just think it is so obvious that he doesn't want to be here. Must be so frustrating for him knowing what a good player he is constantly injured and stuck at a circus like this so no future for him even if he can play.

15 Dec 2016 17:21:18
How can the present owners put forward the City Ground as a security against a loan being obtained by the new owners, when the ground is owned by the council.

1.) 15 Dec 2016 17:27:17
Because we have a long lease on it.

2.) 15 Dec 2016 19:34:33
I think i'm right in saying that Forest own three quarters of the city ground and the bit they don't own is the river frontage viz the trent end which is leased from the council.

3.) 15 Dec 2016 19:37:02
Does it specifically say the city ground? It may be the academy land its refering to?

4.) 15 Dec 2016 22:02:38
I think it refers to the property they own around the ground in various streets as well as the training ground and Academy.

5.) 16 Dec 2016 09:39:05
There is a list of properties including 2 houses, area at Gresham gardens trent pool. areas next to ground etc. Quite a long list. Papers mean they can lend forest money as they take control while takeover is finally finalised. Looks as if it will not be long now.

6.) 16 Dec 2016 11:55:10
Forest own all the 4 stands and buildings they lease the land off the council.

7.) 16 Dec 2016 12:12:05
That is correct JBFC. They own the ground but not the land it stands on which is on a 99 year lease signed recently for a peppercorn rent. It is a like owning your own leasehold flat.

8.) 16 Dec 2016 16:28:00
Bet the main Stand is worth a bob or two, any guesses ? CARLO.

17 Sep 2016 06:07:41
PM now holding cheese and wine parties for the press. Don't think certain previous managers would have done that.

20 Apr 2016 05:45:52
Could the new manager be Lars Bohinen? He has Forest connections. Look on his Twitter site. Has he taken teams to a top division? I don't know.

1.) 20 Apr 2016 08:39:17
He got Sandjeford promoted in 2014 then relegated again the following season. Does that count?

2.) 20 Apr 2016 13:10:08
We need a manager of the type Jenco 75 mentions not some trainee manager😎.

18 Apr 2016 06:00:34
Interesting article in the currant bun on Sunday regarding overseas owners in England. Perhaps other clubs are worse off than we are. Although I cannot recall now if the owners of Blackburn were mentioned.

1.) 18 Apr 2016 13:14:53
On the same theme as the above post. In the currant bun on Monday, sun sport readers had a poll on who was the worst overseas owner. The bloke from Blackpool got 51percent of the vote. Fawaz only got 1percent of the vote. So it would appear that he is well liked by fans.

Why would Fawaz lie about things that can easily be checked. IE ownership of the ground and academy. Again I say this post is total rubbish. Also if Forest do not own the academy, who does?

I know it's only the sheep, but this again reflects on the club. Fawaz probably thinks it's funny as it's the sheep, and what will he do when he gets the bill for the damage Forest fans caused to the toilets at the last game at the sheep pen.
