Rumours coming out of Greece that Luke Steele is set to switch to Olympiacos.

1.) 09 Jan 2019 10:44:14
I wonder how much, if anything we will get for him, £500,000 maybe

2.) 09 Jan 2019 11:33:17
He has poured cold water on it on Twitter simply stating that it is not true

3.) 09 Jan 2019 12:07:31
Can't we cargo Pants instead?

4.) 09 Jan 2019 15:35:19
Yes that would put 2or 3 M in the kitty🙌🏼🙌🏼👐🏼👐🏼⚽️⚽️✈️✈️
CARLO

5.) 09 Jan 2019 15:59:28
Looks like we're after the Leicester keeper Jakupovic on loan for the rest of the season with a view to sign permenantly next season.

6.) 09 Jan 2019 18:14:49
Cargo pants to Billy Smarts big top🤣🤣🤣

7.) 09 Jan 2019 18:21:58
RR1, Do they need anymore clowns 🤡 😁

8.) 09 Jan 2019 18:48:04
Seems that my pun about cargo Pants fell short for someone!

31 Jul 2017 16:00:33
Just been to get my ticket for Friday and my new shirt, talking to one of my friends down in PR who seem to think it's McDonald and a new left back that we are signing.

1.) 31 Jul 2017 16:13:36
Either that or KFC for their dinner, i prefer going to Wagamama myself.

2.) 31 Jul 2017 16:49:11
no squad number 1 i'd say that's a clue.

3.) 31 Jul 2017 20:41:11
Hope it's chips its chips!

4.) 01 Aug 2017 10:12:25
Very funny mate!

22 Jun 2017 08:22:19
I have heard from a current youth team player that Middlesborough have been in touch about Britt Assombolonga for around £11 million which was refused.
Apparently they are that desperate for Britt they have said they won't pursue Connor Mahoney if we agree to sell Britt to them.

1.) 22 Jun 2017 08:58:21
Let them go for Mahoney. He is only an average player. There are better wingers out there.

2.) 22 Jun 2017 09:09:04
I agree, who do Middlesborough think they are, take the winger and we will keep Britt after all the Mahoney scored 4 goals last season which is nearly as many as the entire Middlesborough squad. Perfect fit! !

3.) 22 Jun 2017 10:38:05
20 million to a premier league team and I think we should accept. There is no way we should sell him a team in the same league. Get Glenn Murray on the cheap and Richie Towell from Brighton also.

4.) 22 Jun 2017 21:34:47
KTR seems to imply that part of the new regime's desire to involve fans and others in running the club, includes involving youth team players in confidential negotiations about the sale of first team players. Or perhaps not.

5.) 23 Jun 2017 17:23:17
I wondered when Mahoney would pop up in the Britt bid. 11 mil, your having a laugh Mr Monk.

Daily Snail reporting the American consortium are ready to pull the plug due to current owner Fawaz A lHasawi moving the goalposts on a daily basis. Also claims that the takeover should have long been completed with talks originally starting in October.

1.) 04 Jan 2017 08:09:14
Well if that's the case and the takeover falls apart then I am done with Nffc, it's a complete circus and until Fawaz goes Nffc can rot in hell.

2.) 04 Jan 2017 08:33:20
Not a bit surprised by this, what the hell is wrong with Fawaz? He's destroying this club with his antics, the longer this drags on the more worried we should get. Hope it gets sorted soon!

3.) 04 Jan 2017 08:42:35
does not shock me 1 bit the man just will not
let go, he said a few months ago he was selling lock stock etc, lie, he said it would be done in 6 weeks, lie, he said he would invest O Burke money (not including ex arsenal donkey) lie. This man as been an absolute disaster for our club, yes he or his family put money in but if anyone putting that sort of cash into a club would make sure they would get it right. Fawaz should rot in hell not the club.

4.) 04 Jan 2017 08:52:56
I remember years ago that clough and the mail had a major fall out and to this day the bitterness I feel is still their, so I would be weary of what the Mail reports. The then reporter has now been promoted to something like sports editor .

5.) 04 Jan 2017 09:59:41
If Fawaz is deliberately ruining the club as some suggest, is it any wonder when you read some of the vile comments made recently about him and his family.

6.) 04 Jan 2017 10:14:02
I've heard it's a 3rd time lucky Billy Davies.

7.) 04 Jan 2017 10:46:53
If he is ruining forest on purpose, it ruins his bank balance, so makes no sense, we not worth much in league below with less than 15k fans per home game.

8.) 04 Jan 2017 10:53:12
He would be my 1st choice, love him or hate I saw some of the best football since Frank Clark under Billy.

9.) 04 Jan 2017 13:00:03
For gods sake bluebird are you for real, no way do we want the poisoin dwarf back, what is the reason he's been out of a job since he left us, one word, TROUBLE.

10.) 04 Jan 2017 13:02:08
You either like Billy or hate him. Look at the stats for Nffc when billy was manager, you can't argue with the results and league positions. Not saying all was rosey but if it's points and wins you want then why not? He just needs putting in his place and needs to be controlled by a decent chairman and director.

20 Dec 2016 15:17:55
Apparently the Al Hasawi family are not happy with the deal Fawaz agreed with the Americans. £50 million is not enough and are trying to delay so they can sell Britt and Henri to make money back in January.

1.) 20 Dec 2016 16:36:19
If the goat eater loves Forest as much as he proffesses then he should take the money and go before he drags us down any farther, Lansbury won't leave when he see's a proper structure in place🎅😎.

2.) 20 Dec 2016 16:42:58
I appreciate the post, Kev, but it seems an awful lot like social media nonsense to me. Have the Al Hasawi family only just noticed a takeover is taking place? Seems a bit late for them to be sticking their noses in. I think some people just get bored of waiting for news so make up their own (not you, Kev, but your source) .

3.) 20 Dec 2016 17:21:16
Really!

4.) 20 Dec 2016 19:38:17
Lansbury is out of contract in the summer so won't sell for much money if he goes, Britt is always injured and as not played that much this season, so again who would buy him for serious money? No one will. You would be lucky to get 4 million for both of them at the moment.

5.) 21 Dec 2016 03:14:49
lansbury will go in jan transfer window as for britt wait and see. neither will be a big loss. one injured and the other no intrest in playing for forest.

6.) 21 Dec 2016 11:17:54
Is that the same Lansbury that won Championship player of the month for November playing in a Forest shirt? ok. Both would be a massive loss.

7.) 21 Dec 2016 11:24:55
Kevtheref gets a red card for this statement.

8.) 21 Dec 2016 12:29:52
Does no one realise they can't be sold while the takeover is going through, fawaz will have no power now unless takeover collapses then yes the poop will hit the fan, but ATM no one is coming or going until new owners are in.

Thoughts on Chris Cohen. Yes he scored a wonder goal v Ipswich at the end of last season but to me last night he seemed to be lightweight not wanting to challenge, getting shrugged off the ball easily and generally not interested. I personally think he's taking up a squad space for the likes of Edser or Ahmedhodzik who would have more fight. Vaughan is older but shows more for me, maybe it's an injury too much now.

1.) 09 Aug 2017 17:30:23
The wonder goal that you mentioned was going straight at the goalie but luckily hit a defender in the head and flew in the top corner.
But yes i agree he is not up to standard and we can do much better.

2.) 09 Aug 2017 18:14:31
He has been told that if he thunders around and tries to change direction at pace he is putting hus knee at risk, basically his best endeavours are now behind him. Shame great inspiration but sadly a glass knee has curtailed his effectiveness.

3.) 09 Aug 2017 18:22:40
Harsh.

4.) 09 Aug 2017 18:39:06
Yes very harsh, in my opinion is he still has a lot to offer as a player. what he lacks in pace, skill, he more than makes up for in determination, and passion. judging him after one game? Behave!

5.) 09 Aug 2017 19:51:15
Get him on the back room staff. He is a Forest legend.

28 Dec 2016 18:40:16
A journalist in the USA that covered John Jay Moores whilst he had the baseball team claims that the deal should be announced after the new year. He also states he will be a very good owner who will put "soccer people" in place to run the club effectively. By next season it will be totally unrecognisable to its setup and running now.

1.) 29 Dec 2016 10:24:31
its not soccer it's football! put football people in charge not soccer. brad bobbly should of learnt that we don't like the American talk. well I don't anyway.

{Ed001's Note - actually soccer is an English word that everyone else adopted and the English got all snobby about it, despite them having invented it and used it first. It was to distinguish association football from rugby football, as both were called football at one time. Once rugby caught on as the name for rugby football, I guess we had no need of the word soccer.}

2.) 29 Dec 2016 12:10:20
Wasn't that before most teams had actually been formed as in the teams we support now?

{Ed001's Note - no, it was still in common usage long after most of our teams had appeared. Well, unless you support MK Dons?}

20 Jun 2016 23:08:12
I would just like to say Carlos Carvalhal the Sheffield Wednesday manager has had more managerial positions than most have had hot dinners.
None of them are outstanding and he wasn't a well known person last summer. fast forward 12 months and after missing out on promotion is being linked with Southampton in the Prem.
But let's all just fob off every manager mentioned rather than get excited for a new beginning.
We've tried lots of other things and failed so why not an unknown or inexperienced manager?

03 Jun 2016 19:42:29
Ally McCoist wants to return to management and claims to have made it to the last two for two championship jobs.

20 Aug 2015 19:02:39
I've read on a Blackburn site that both them and Forest will be given the chance to come out of FFP this summer, it states we can sell our assets, come out of FFP and sign new players or stay in until next summer with the current conditions. I know you can't put the website names but hopefully you'll know if from my next clue. It's vitally important.

1.) 20 Aug 2015 20:09:22
Can anyone enlighten me?

2.) 20 Aug 2015 20:41:52
Take anything that's posted on that site with a pinch of salt.theres some crazy people on there who have there own agenda's.

3.) 21 Aug 2015 09:21:07
If we keep MA and sign a loan striker why would we need to come out of FFP this summer?

Tight committed squad is required not more player churn!

Robinson is half decent at LB, needs to curb his bookings tally.
Agree on CB but I'd go for a league 1, younger player that's really hungry and wants to progress.
Striker on loan only, it's January don't spend stupid money on someone's cast off to end up rotting on high wages.

£7 million wouldn't get his boots, captain of England winning team, best centre back at the club by a mile and best defender to come through the academy since Dawson.

Watched him on Saturday v Notts and he seems a good player, solid, strong, hard working and could flourish with better quality around him. I think it would take a seven figure fee to get him so depends on if Fawaz will reinvest the money. Only problem is Derby have been linked tonight.
