No one has a crystal ball to see how the team will do under Martin and Roy for the rest of the season.

They may or may not improve the team but i have seen complaints about the football being hoof ball, and the two of them being dinosaurs

Both of those can be thrown at Warnock but it works for him, that off course does not guarantee it will work for our two.

Three games in and some are writing off Martin and Roy as far being being successful, yet when the owners past and present have been so impatient and have sacked managers too early many complained about losing yet another manager.

Whatever way you think about AK's departure he should have left sooner if he walked, and should have been pushed earlier if given the old heave ho.

At the end of the day too many managers have been brought in out of panic and by public demand.

I'm surprised how quickly people have turned on a Forest legend, we may not like the brand of football but come on give the management a chance.

LC

1.) 04 Feb 2019 15:24:08
LC, a lot of people on here have no patience, sadly that never going to change.

Fortunately their views are not a true representation of all the Forest Faithful.

01 Feb 2019 19:09:29
The offer from Stoke for Osborn came too late but even if it had come earlier the answer would have been the same.

He brings us energy and can fill in at left back, although he feels he is often being played out of position.

I have not been here long enough to know the players strengths and weakness.

We need to keep players like Ben at this stage of the season.

LC

1.) 01 Feb 2019 19:32:08
I would like to see Osborn play in a midfield of four with Lolley on the left wing. Benny could run the channel to Lolleys inside thus creating possibilities for the two of them to overlap.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 20:19:50
Don't think Osborn will be in the side tomorrow,he'll be on the bench,Robinson will be back at left back and one of the two new lads will play alongside benalouan.
Watson will be captain, and the rest 9f the side will be same as last Saturday, two strikers on the bench in grabban and Bonatini, needs a big strong side to beat Brum away.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 21:58:40
3 at back obvious

4.) 01 Feb 2019 22:53:51
We've played three at the back all season north Notts, what nine players were you watching?😁😁😉

5.) 02 Feb 2019 09:29:11
It’ll be 3-4-3:
Bena, New guy, robbo
Janko Pele Watson Osborn
Lolley bonna cash

I can’t see him getting in new signings without playing them. I think LWB will suit Osborn as it let’s him have his attacking play whilst using his pace and energy to get back. Having Lolley and Cash as inside forwards allows the wing backs to overlap whilst giving options to pass and cross.

6.) 04 Feb 2019 12:33:09
Osborn has no pace.

30 Jan 2019 18:45:09
We are try to get 23 year old Sam Gallagher of Southampton.

LC

1.) 30 Jan 2019 19:10:26
Been told he's not available for loan.

25 Jan 2019 16:00:51
Cummings was offered to Lincoln by Peterborough but Cummings does not want to play in their league.

LC

1.) 25 Jan 2019 16:24:39
He could do a lot worse than Lincoln city. Man management from Danny Cowley would be of great benefit.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 17:25:03
He's a complete waste of space.
Our management team at the time we signed him really did their homework. Not!

3.) 25 Jan 2019 17:31:40
He's proberbly waiting till Notts get relegated. Then he can drop in at his level in the national league.
What a total disaster of a buy,a right big headed tw*t.
Talentless oik. going to take some shifting.

4.) 25 Jan 2019 18:02:46
That's telling em red balloons.

5.) 25 Jan 2019 18:14:50
That's it Red balloons, let off some steam pal.

6.) 25 Jan 2019 18:16:52
The boy obviously has issues,he started off at Boro scoring for fun, smashed his flat up and videod it and has hardly played since.
I remember when he signed for posh and he stole other players kit and ran round in it,at the time their manager thought it funny,he did stupid things at hibs that he thought was funny, the lad breeds to decide whether he wants to be a footballer or a practical joker

7.) 25 Jan 2019 18:23:49
Hopefully hibs take him back. Knew from the first moment he got a tattoo to celebrate goals but hardly scored any for us. Waste of space!

8.) 25 Jan 2019 19:32:37
We need to send Keano round to his house to sort the silly boy out then drive him up to Hibs and collect the refund cheque for selling us damaged goods!

9.) 25 Jan 2019 21:09:33
Ff you are obviously good at gathering information. Are you working with Bielsa?

10.) 25 Jan 2019 21:52:01
No I'm working with MDF and it gets right up my nose, but anything beats watching sheep train.
I know what your thinking? I should whare a mask as the dust can kill you.
I'm talking about the mad delusional people I have to put up with🤣🤣🤣

18 Jan 2019 15:10:52
It is alleged we are after James McClean from Stoke.

LC

1.) 18 Jan 2019 15:27:44
That would be because he's an Irish International chosen by MON to play for the national side. He knows the player, and what the lad can do, begorrah.

2.) 18 Jan 2019 19:15:33
I'd love it if we got him just to stick it up all those fans that gave him a hard time for not wearing the poppy 😂🤣😂😋

3.) 18 Jan 2019 19:37:57
There are quite a few who do not fully understand his reasoning for taking such a stance.

4.) 18 Jan 2019 20:15:59
That's his problem though Sgetty and I have read it,but sport is sport and politics and religion are for the players to keep to themselves,if you come to these shores and want to make a living from us,then we wouldn't be here but for the brave soldiers, one of which was my dad, hadn't fought for freedom against the Nazis.
Like I say politics and belief should be a private matter and not broadcast, lots of people lose loved ones in many different ways, being bitter about it and passing it on through generations is not the cure.
Just daying

5.) 18 Jan 2019 21:16:29
He’s a wind up merchant. I remember him trying to wind up the crowd when he played for Wigan, I also remember the times when he called his own fans idiots. I personally don’t care that he doesn’t wear a poppy but I do not like him as a person, but we aren’t after the person we’re after the footballer, and he’s a bloody good one!

6.) 18 Jan 2019 21:56:35
Has no problem taking English pay ,Don,t want him here .
CARLO

{Ed007's Note - So a UK citizen born and working in the UK shouldn't be taking 'English pay'? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 James McClean has paid more in British taxes than you ever will earn your life time. People slagging James McClean while celebrating Martin O'Neill's appointment and wanting Keane back is just irony off the scale.}

7.) 18 Jan 2019 22:19:21
I remember meeting Larry Lloyd about 25 years ago. He was arrogant and condescending! That still doesn't detract from the fact that he was and still is a footballing hero to me.It does not mean I have to like him.

8.) 18 Jan 2019 22:25:23
They are both Catholic edd and I didn't care less about religion and just because he pays more in tax than we will ever earn is a great insult from you,as we don't get that chance,so get off your high horse, leave the politics and religion out of it and get on with football, not that you will print this

{Ed007's Note - It's not me that's deviated things away from football - what's a poppy got to do with football? And what has 'taking English pay' got to do with anything? maybe McClean should just 'go home' eh?}

9.) 18 Jan 2019 22:33:33
It's worth remembering 007 we are often dealing with Philistines.

{Ed007's Note - That's being polite lol.}

10.) 18 Jan 2019 22:43:47
Thanks edd like I say I didn't start it and I hate sectarism as you put it,religion has no place and politics either for me in football, sad that it brings out the worst in people.
Black ,white, pink it makes no odds,as blue mink once sang, what the world needs is a great big melting pot,big enough to take the world and all its got.
No one benefits in the long run though if you can't forgive.

11.) 18 Jan 2019 23:39:10
If I remember right a poppy is a symbol of sleep and peace and to remember the dead mainly from world war 1 where football was played Xmas eve I think between people that were killing each other before and after that game but for a hour or so football became a friendly kick about and bought together enemies .so I would say football was kind of involved with the world war 1 as is the poppy but as in any walk of life and even on this site everybody as different opinions and everybody is different and have there own beliefs so for me if McLean as is own reason for not wearing a poppy then that's is decision because of his reasons and his belief I where my poppy every year with pride that's my belief now let's talk football it brings everyone together 😆

12.) 18 Jan 2019 23:42:39
McLean would not consider himself a uk citizen, hence his representation of the Irish republic, he appears to hate everything about the uk except the high wages in the English football system

13.) 19 Jan 2019 03:12:11
Puzzles me that people even on here think the Poppy is either a religious or political symbol. They are neither. It’s a symbol of remberance.

14.) 19 Jan 2019 09:22:44
Sgetty / ed if your accusing me of being a ‘philistine’ that’s your prerogative, I don’t know your background and vice versa maybe some on here have more reason to despise what McLean supports than others

{Ed033's Note - It's all opinions. My view is that we shouldn't let the politically correct ones shut down freedom of opinion, freedom of speech by using 'magical' spell words.

15.) 19 Jan 2019 18:29:05
Carlo,
All that matters is any player does the business on the field and does nothing that constitutes gross misconduct in his employment contract.

I'll wager anyone IF he ever ended up playing for us and scored the winning goal in a play off final he would become a hero and Forest legend?

16.) 19 Jan 2019 19:39:07
I am seriously concerned about some of the names that McClean has been called by some posters on this site.

17.) 19 Jan 2019 19:40:34
Carlo is entitled to his opinion.

18.) 19 Jan 2019 20:09:22
Sgetty why? You should have tried patrolling the streets of the area where he comes from as a British soldier name calling I can assure you would have been the least of your problems,

19.) 19 Jan 2019 20:34:07
Boys let it go,there are only losers in this thread,we all have an opion but life is short and we all say things and make mistakes,it's called being human and none of us are perfect, although I'm very close, lol😉😉

20.) 19 Jan 2019 21:10:21
Ff799 in my eyes you will always be the personification of perfection.

21.) 19 Jan 2019 21:36:13
Sorry the boys didn't do it for you today , hope you enjoyed your day though.
Ps I'd milk it and at least get a curry and a bottle as well. 🤔
Dads deserve a treat and when offered take full advantage. 👍

22.) 19 Jan 2019 22:12:27
Lack of respect and sounds a dolt to boot. No thanks

23.) 19 Jan 2019 22:13:43
Stevie f i appreciate what you say

24.) 19 Jan 2019 23:14:36
Red in Brazil thanks mate glad someone does maybe some people on here should check out the picture of McLean with his Wigan training top attached to which is a badge of a terrorist organisation hope to god we never see that on a forest top, but that’s my last word on him now.

25.) 19 Jan 2019 23:38:29
Seriously mate. didn't see that. let's be honest about this, the Irish, sweaty socks and taffs hate us. let's not kid ourselves

26.) 19 Jan 2019 23:41:18
If i went to play in ireland and wore a UDA badge, how long would I last ?

27.) 20 Jan 2019 19:26:00
Like as been said wearing a poppy is to me neither religious or nationalistic just a mark of respect to the fallen and injured in various conflicts , plus nearly every family has had family involved in these conflicts ,least we should forget and learn , nothing more .
CARLO

29.) 21 Jan 2019 15:49:10
Well I for one can say i will not be attending the City Ground again if we do sign him until the day he leaves. Anyone who is happy to ply his trade and take the money from a country he hates so much, quote Bobby Sands, list Martin McGuiness as one of his heroes and list 'Broad black brimmer' as one of his favourite songs ain't going to get anything from me.

When we play Derby the referee is one from Liverpool, he has averaged 3 cards per game, what are the people that make those decisions thinking of. ☹️.

LC

1.) 19 Feb 2019 17:38:37
He's from Liverpool you say? Oh dear. They don't like us do they?

2.) 19 Feb 2019 18:00:12
Whe was the last time a referee got in the way of a player that resulted in a goal? If he could get in the way of a Derby player so Forest go on to score that would make my day. 😁😁😁

3.) 19 Feb 2019 18:17:30
He was ref for the Brentford game and that went OK?

4.) 19 Feb 2019 20:38:44
Liverpool don’t like us? I doubt whether they give a s*** about us to be honest. Unless the ref is over 45 (which is unlikely ) forest are just another half decent club in the championship .

5.) 19 Feb 2019 21:02:33
2star spot on mate they have forgotten we exist, they’re on a different planet i’m afraid

6.) 20 Feb 2019 00:19:47
I don't know we took away some important trophies from them that made us make great history something bad in there history it's football it doesn't go away ever it hurts for a long time in football so after disagree with that one anyway we will win this one without any help on the sheep's side with the ref also can see Millwall giving the sheep a tough one tmoz night

7.) 20 Feb 2019 02:43:02
How does the song go Skeggsy???
"We hate Nottingham forest".

19 Feb 2019 09:29:45
I thought buying a season ticket to watch Forest at the City Ground was quite expensive, but £200,000 for watching Derby soon nobody will bother to go and watch them. 😁.

LC

1.) 19 Feb 2019 11:21:49
Whoever put a thumbs down LC obviously doesn't get your wit.
Funny.

2.) 19 Feb 2019 18:26:52
My spy's tell me that Frank Lambpoo has introduced buckets at the side of the training pitches. However, unlike Bielsa he does not use them to sit on but to throw up in fear of judgement day at the City Ground 😭

3.) 20 Feb 2019 03:24:42
As we said the other week that spy will now be scarred for life , nothing can have prepared them for what they witnessed that day. For years we’ve all had the wool pulled over ours eyes around the true meaning of a close knit team .

18 Feb 2019 21:27:03
Martin is looking into the terms of Colback's terms in his deal as whether or not to sign him in the summer.

LC

1.) 18 Feb 2019 23:07:29
Wasting his time looking at his "deal" as he is out of contract in the summer ! The only terms are what we are prepared to pay compared to any other offers he gets in the summer.

Making him Captain at Preston is showing the love required and a statement for next year to get him to commit!

2.) 19 Feb 2019 08:54:42
Wages likely to be a big stumbling block , although he's a good championship player he's on premiership wages , I think he will after lower his expectations for any club to sign him , i can't see any premiership clubs wanting him and I wouldn't like us to pay more than 20k.

3.) 19 Feb 2019 11:25:27
He would be worth every penny of that 20k skeg. He is a cracking player.

4.) 19 Feb 2019 17:34:55
He has been our most consistent performer since his arrival. I just hope he'll want to stay should we not get promoted. Future captain for me!

18 Feb 2019 11:39:45
Gomis out shone Walker when their loan teams played each other, Gomis has both power and pace, so the report said.

LC

17 Feb 2019 20:28:02
I thought it would not be possible to happen in modern football.

A Third Tier Italian side were beaten 20-0, and were 16-0 down at half time.

LC

1.) 17 Feb 2019 20:41:51
Looks like they only had 8 men or something

2.) 17 Feb 2019 21:23:41
It's called corruption LC.

3.) 18 Feb 2019 08:52:29
Gazzi don’t really think anyone would want to make a bent game so obvious do you ??

4.) 19 Feb 2019 10:03:23

RC, you say whether a goal is scored, i take that to mean has the ball crossed the line, if there is any doubt.

What about when someone wins a free kick and it gets put away, would you want to check if they deserved the free kick.

Wba draw, Preston loss, Derby loss, Stoke Win, Hull Win, Villa Win.

That therefore is 10 points out of 18 for Forest.

What planet are you on Kim.

He has missed 4 out of the 7 penalties. Martin has as good as said he will not be taking anymore penalties.

As far as the coaches giving him extra practice, if he did not listen to Karanka and his coaching staff why is he going to listen to Martin and his coaches.

He is a excellent striker, but has a sloppy attitude to penalties.

Go and give Martin the same message if it bothers you so much.

Redtree, I saw Martins interview on the highlights show this morning, and you are right.

Martin on being told by the presenter i'm no manager and and i would not tell you what to do, but Grabban has missed 4 of his last 7 penalties perhaps someone else should take them Martin said i might agree with you on that.

He went on to praise Grabban for the good game he had which was good to see in my view.

Rogie, We were 1-0 up against them and he said to Birtles, 1-0 is not enough, we will beat in the next game, or something like that.

We scored a second and Birtles said will that be enough, the Liverpool players thought they were better than us at the time, how wrong they were.
