My team to play Norwich in a 4-1-4-1 formation Pantilimon Janko Hefele Dawson Fox Colback Dias Carvaleho Cash Lolley Grabban.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 20 Oct 2018 10:43:03
Wouldn’t put Fox at fullback keep him where he’s been brilliant

2.) 20 Oct 2018 11:05:53
Osbourne has to start

3.) 20 Oct 2018 11:26:01
Osborn.

4.) 20 Oct 2018 13:53:37
Gazzibaldi
Althohgh his name is spelt Osborn Bourne means having a Goal or Destination, Osborn goal is to score and set up goals, his destination hopefully is the Premier league with Forest. 4-2 for Forest today COYR.

5.) 20 Oct 2018 14:40:04
Are you giving him an ultimatum ? I hope that he doesn't lose his identity!

6.) 20 Oct 2018 16:02:53
No, no ultimatum, a presumption they are his own personal goals. I think he is confident enough not to lose his identity. 🤔

My team to beat Blackburn on Saturday

PANTILIMON
JANKO
HEFELE
FOX (C)
ROBINSON
COLBACK
BRIDCUTT
CASH
GUEDEURA
OSBORN
GRABBAN

SUBS
STEELE
CARVALEHO
LOLLY
DAWSON
MURPHY
DIAS

Think we need a bit more bite in midfield against Blackburn and playing Gued in there as opposed to Carveleho would give us that.

Then look to bring the more creative players on and Dias with his pace with half an hour to go.

Love to prove that prat Prutton wrong again!

MUNMAD7980

1.) 28 Sep 2018 13:51:22
After scoring against Stoke Murphy should start, i would have Lolley on instead of Bridcutt.

2.) 28 Sep 2018 13:52:25
Has anyone seen the New FIFA 19 Petre Chech transfer negotiation's gaffe!!??
Absolutely hilarious!!!
I actually doubled up laughing when a mate showed me it in work this morning.

3.) 28 Sep 2018 14:24:04
No chance Watson will be relegated from the match day squad , he might not start but he won’t be out of the match day. Squad. Are you suggesting Osborn in a more advanced role? A decent idea away from home if so.
Are you suggesting

Colback
Guedioura Bridcutt Cash
Osborn
Murphy / Grabban
Kind of arrangement ?

4.) 28 Sep 2018 16:12:01
Pants
Janko Heffele Fox Robinson
Colback Gued
Lolley Carvalho Osborn
Murphy.

Team picks itself. Plenty of legs in midfield. Physical presence at the base & a big lump up top who will keep hold of it long enough to bring Carvalho in play.

5.) 28 Sep 2018 16:36:58
That's exactly what i'm suggesting.Plenty of ball winners and bite in the midfield and Osborne and Cash to feed Grabban

6.) 28 Sep 2018 16:47:51
Yep I’d go with that - interesting to see how much more we’d get out of carvalho if Murphy can play the Murphy game well. I said the other week how brilliant Murphy of four years ago would link our play up. Not really seen another forward in the championship who does that as well.

7.) 28 Sep 2018 16:55:55
Cjay I would go for Cash ahead of Lolley and Grabban over Murphy.

8.) 28 Sep 2018 17:56:55
Sgetty

Cash or Lolley no problem mate.

Grabban though? not for me. Blackburn will get most of the ball tomorrow, we'll try & bang em on the break. Nowt kills a counter attack more than the ball constantly bouncing off a stationery striker. Grabban won't defend from the front either.

We may well try & play Blackburn off the park, can't see it though, reckon Murphys strength will be a better bet.

9.) 28 Sep 2018 19:29:30
I would normally agree Cjay but I'm not sure if Murphy will have had enough time to recover from playing on a Wednesday.

10.) 28 Sep 2018 21:19:52
The guessing game will all be revealed at 2pm tomorrow, tough game, but think he'll stick to Swansea line up.
Portuguese lads will be on the bench.

11.) 29 Sep 2018 09:02:04
He won't drop Watson and Cash will be a sub so Carvalho will get that spot for 60 minutes.

12.) 29 Sep 2018 09:21:23
I think it's safe to say that there is one Portugeezer who won't be on the bench! I still say it wasn't a red by the way!

24 Sep 2018 10:21:20
My team to play Stoke would be Steele Darykwa Dawson Figeredos Robinson bridcutt Jacob Goncalves Cash Yates and Gomis.

This would rest a lot of the first 11 and still be competitive imo.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 24 Sep 2018 10:38:51
He needs to rest the whole starting 11 from Saturday. They looked leggy towards the end of each half. League form has to be the priority. It would be good to see Yacob come in for Watson, he's dire.

2.) 24 Sep 2018 11:34:57
GazzaRed I'm, inclined to agree. Watson didn't play well against very average opposition V Rotherham, and to me Guediora was well off the pace and made lots of errors. Good job the back four were so solid and well organised. I would also like to see Yacob and maybe also Hatch get a game, with Bridcutt on after half time. I'd rest Cash and Osborn for sure. Stoke are not that good but a sprinkling of youngsters in the side might also be an idea even if they only play 20 minutes or so. If Murphy is not quite fit, give the youngsters a chance.

3.) 24 Sep 2018 14:00:33
While i'm Certainly ok with changes being made for Tuesday, is there a case for putting a strong side out against a struggling stoke to keep our good little run and momentum going? Would be Nice to have a little cup run too!
I suppose we could still put a strong side out AND freshen things up.

4.) 25 Sep 2018 01:24:31
We're playing Weds.😉👍

23 Sep 2018 11:47:01
Pleased with the three points yesterday. don't think there are any easy games in this division who would of thought that Leeds and Villa would lose at home to Birmingham and Sheff Wed.
My only concern is that Liam Bridcutt needs to be played more maybe he will get a game against Stoke he is far more mobile than Watson and Colback and is a better passer of the ball.

On the plus side the defence is looking solid.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 23 Sep 2018 12:30:47
I can't believe Leeds and villa lost. Had the on my accumulater them not winning cost lost me £1200. Bastards. Just shows it's anyone's league.
Just hope karanka starts playing offensively instead of defensively.

2.) 23 Sep 2018 21:39:46
Always, I'd settle for just winning football in this league!

07 Nov 2017 11:30:57
9 points out of 12 and starting to play some attractive football things are really on the up at Forest. Not sure if the break is good or not to be honest.

Although QPR didn't turn up our defence looked solid and Mancienne had his best game imo since he's been at Forest.

Credit where credits due think MW has listened and now knows his best 11 bit hard on Vaughan but let's build for the future. COYR.

1.) 07 Nov 2017 12:21:43
Agreed. I think its clear that hobbs and velios are not in warburtons plans. Carving out results has given clear justification to the managers selections. I think its time to draw a line under these issues and just get behind the manager, strange though he may be he has made his stance and has got positive results. Good for him.

2.) 07 Nov 2017 15:48:05
Hobbs is just too injury prone and from what i can understand Velios hasn't coped well with being overlooked and has attitude problems playing at u23 level.Personally i think he has been unlucky and should at least be in the squad.

However as West Ham have just proved its the manager that carries the can and therefore lives and dies by his decisions.

My biggest concern is not Velios but Brereton, whos form seems to have fallen off a cliff and looks to be 4th choice striker now.

3.) 07 Nov 2017 16:57:28
If brereton has it then like walker he will fight his way back.

4.) 09 Nov 2017 08:11:20
Munmad, I'm wouldn't be surprised to hear Vellios has a bad attitude, and I think you can be sympathetic to his plight. For the past two seasons he's shown excellent pre season form, scoring for fun, and never really being given a go in the team. He's then told that an ageing 34 year old, will be the main striker, followed by an unproven one, and two promoted academy players! Vellios has played at a higher level than all of them. Would be good if MW just said why he's not in his plans.

Goal scoring box to box midfielders are in very short supply.Although he is only scoring goals in League 2 he is still a tremendous prospect and worth at least 2m in my opinion.

Certainly wouldn't sell him to one of our rivals as I genuinely feel that we have a good outside chance of the play offs this season.

The team we put out on Saturday against QPR if they all stay fit is certainly in the top six sides in this division

Paul Heckingbottom has done a cracking job at Barnsley on a very limited budget. As a former on nonsense defender imo he would be the ideal man to stop us conceding 2 goals a game, maybe the possesion of the football might be less but i thing he would make us more difficult to beat

For me exactly the same team that beat QPR but with Brereton to replace Murphy for first 45 and the full 90 if he does well.

Dowell plays in Zac Cloughs natural position. If he goes back to Everton in Jan then Clough should be his replacement,

Haven't seen the best of him yet he is a natural number 10, old type inside forward, we paid a lot of money for him and he was pure class at Bolton.
