Fawas won't spend any money but as a smokescreen he will probably put some low bids in for decent players knowing they will get turned down then say he tried lmao.
The muppet thinks we're thick.

Keep protesting or if that doesn't work. Boycott till he's gone. Think we will still survive this season because theirs 5 teams worse than us. mediocre gates for rest of season might just make him sell. At the price it's worth. About 30m.

Marco321

Boycotting will only harm the club more as money from ticket/ food club shop etc provides money for daily running costs so that will only worsen the situation

2.) 25 Jan 2017 16:16:42
I think you are spot on Marco. I don't think there will be any substantive additions this transfer window and FAH certainly won't be putting in a CEO or DOF and Recruitment until it's the window is safely shut. That leaves us with a squad of around 26 players of which 3 a r e long term injured ie Cohen Traore and Mills (forget Fryatt he's not coming back) and 4 not fit for purpose ie Kasami Lica Dimitri and Carayol. So that leaves a tight but good squad of 18 or 19 of which Lam and Stoykovic are only good enough as squad backup. So for the rest of the season we 're only good enough to stay up if we don't get hit with injuries and suspensions. We're thin on the ground so we need a bit of luck but the plus side is that it's a tight squad with a band of brothers mentality like Dyches Burnley. We should be better disciplinary wise as Lansburys gone and injury prone but key players like Hobbs and Vaughn should be wrapped in cotton wool on the training ground much like McGrath was at Man Utd and before him the ageing Dave McKay at Derby. It's a big gamble though but that's the price of FAH s running down the infrastructure so that were way behind the gain line in attracting good players.

3.) 25 Jan 2017 17:06:43
Low gates will only harm fawas as he's apparently bankrolling us. So long as he doesn't sell any more of our good players. Low gates from boycotting will push him to sell because if he doesn't then next season he will know our average attendance will drop to bout 10k. So he would have to sell up. Yeh he could sell a couple of players again in summer If he still refuse to sell club. But their would be no benefit in selling our best assets. It would make us worth less to buy. If we boycott he will sell before next season.

4.) 25 Jan 2017 20:39:00
All things considered, a boycott and continued protests are the only thing we can do until al Hasawi gets the message. Negative I know but the guy isn't going to go unless we keep the pressure on him.

5.) 25 Jan 2017 22:19:25
Okay, I'm in, next game I'll buy a ticket, have two pints of what they call lager but I'll cut back to one pie! It's the only language he'll understand!

6.) 26 Jan 2017 09:33:22
I've been boycotting for 2 years now . don't think it is working.

15 Jan 2017 11:51:15
Fawas should clarify why the deal fell through. We as fans deserve to know the exact details. And when he sold burk he said pm could reinvest in in squad and that the money would be available in January if he didn't use it in August. We was already out of embargo with antonios sale plus df cutting cost to fall in line with ffp. Be interesting to see if fawas wants to back next manager.

Marco321

1.) 15 Jan 2017 12:20:04
Weren't we told Burkes money would be used more for the day to day running of the club, wages etc rather than buying new players? We are losing more than that each year and Fawaz using it just to keep us afloat rather than dipping into his own pocket.

2.) 15 Jan 2017 12:43:10
looks like the start of the begining of the end for forest with fawaz the captain of the clearly sinking hms nottingham forest.

3.) 15 Jan 2017 12:59:11
We were told it would be "reinvested back into the squad. "

4.) 15 Jan 2017 13:59:45
Fawaz said that he would use the 13 million to reinvest in the squad, he was meaning that we could buy players with it.

5.) 15 Jan 2017 15:08:24
As the club loses circa £1m a month where do you think the transfer receipts are going? The maths are really straight forward!

6.) 15 Jan 2017 15:31:42
Redinexile, I think there is a reluctance to accept this very basic cash in cash out scenario. I think it would be very offensive to suggest people don't because bit is that straight forward. I think it's more that the fans want to believe the relaties of life should apply to the magic that can be given through sport. It's a bit like santa, the last few years of believing are about wanting to believe rather than thinking such magic could actually exist, more of a Bain hope if you get my drift.

7.) 15 Jan 2017 16:05:12
Sorry try again Redinexile, I think there is a reluctance to accept this very basic cash in cash out scenario. I think it would be very offensive to suggest people don't understand a simple cash in cash out scenario because as it is very straight forward. I think it's more that the fans want to believe the relaties of life should not apply to the magic that can be given through sport. It's a bit like santa, the last few years of believing are about wanting to believe rather than thinking such magic could actually exist, more of a vain hope if you get my drift.

8.) 15 Jan 2017 16:19:20
The club actually owes us nothing as fans, especially not the ins and outs of private business meetings. The long and short of it is we are powerless as is every other set of fans out there. can protest until we are blue in the face, fawaz is the only one with power and he will continue to do whatever he likes.

14 Jan 2017 12:04:51
The only way fawas can prove he was looking for best interests of club is to spend burkes, devries, Patos and Lansbury transfer money on saving us from relegation. But what decent players would want to come and play under him. No one. So we're doomed. Unless JJM comes back in with an improved deal.

Fawas sez he's spent 122m since coming to forest. I presume some of that was for the purchase from doughtys wife.
Would love to see all accounts since he took over.
Most of players that have come have been
Payed for by players leaving ie Gunter macleary ect then later Darlow leschelas
Then he's used antonios money to help balance books along with burkes and now lansburys.
Most of the money's he's spent/wasted as been on paying 7 managers off not to mention each managers back room team.
Plus let's not forget the 2 Algerians.
Us supporters have probably put as much in while he's been here season tickets merchandise. We need him gone. The only way he will get message is by boycotting.

Marco321

1.) 26 Jan 2017 22:46:23
Most of your post is correct, but Mcleary, our best player was offered a contract, no contracts were renewed the season before the end of the Doughty era and several were out of contract Mcleary went for double the contract he was offered and to play in P L, no fee involved.

25 Jan 2017 18:51:11
Just seen Natalie Jackson get stuck into fawas. Made my day he's a flipping muppet.
Needs to go ASAP. Boycotting is the only way to get rid of this plonker.

Marco321

1.) 25 Jan 2017 19:33:24
I just watched the interview and she certainly went for him all guns blazing. What did he do? Made promises like he always does. The only people who can keep us up are the players, and I feel sorry for them having to work for him. After a short while it will be interesting to hear what Lansbury has to say about his time under Fawaz's reign.

2.) 25 Jan 2017 20:27:33
Yes i'd also like to know why lansbury weny playing golf instead of helping forest who were paying his wages

20 Jan 2017 13:49:42
Well fawas as turned down an improved bid by JJM for 100% of club. If he isn't going to sell then he's going to have to invest some of burkes lansburys devries and Patos money in new players to keep us up. That's if any decent player would want to come. If fawas doesn't and we end up relegated the club won't be worth half of what Americans were offering. Any good players left will want transfers. Players like Manchienne Hobbs osbourne cash bereton Britt. Time to wake up fawas.

Marco321

14 Jan 2017 22:12:02
Theirs all these rumours that the Americans lowered their offer to 25m. But I don't believe it. They've been ready to sign for the agreed 50m since 22nd of December. So why would they put all ground work in lining up a CEO DOF. MANAGER ect. already having a plan to hit the ground running. Then risk it going tits up. It's obviously fawas wanting more and his business history since running forest proves its all down to him. He can't be trusted. I hope the Americans come back in give the idiot a bit more just to get rid of him totally. If they don't we are screwed. because if fawas is still in charge I wouldn't blame any of the players for wanting out.

Marco321

1.) 14 Jan 2017 22:37:14
They reduced their offer by a significant amount and instead, offered to put the same amount into this transfer window kitty. Their offer was refused by the owner as it "was not in the best interests of the club or its supporters" This is a fact Marco.

In corporate transactions such as this one, when the selling party is in such a weak position. Hated by the fans, desperate to sell, racking up bills on a daily basis. the buying party has the power to try and back the seller into a corner. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but sometimes things get sorted and a compromise is reached.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 22:51:20
NorthNottsRed, I believe you, but how do you know this?

3.) 15 Jan 2017 01:42:07
Mapperley red - it's common sense and the real world

13 Jan 2017 22:05:47
Not in the long term interest of club or him. This guy as been a muppet since day 1. I hope any players he tries to offload refuse to leave so this guy can't line his pockets anymore.

Us fans need to boycott games but protest outside until he goes. Does he think any other potential buyer would entertain him after this. He's shot himself in the foot. Camel loving muppet.

Can't see anyway out of this now apart from a miserable future supporting our beloved club it's going to be painful. Not looking to the future for Forest with things as they are
RIP I'm well depressed

Why would fawas have needed to borrow money from JJM. He made 15m at beginning of season from Burke pato and devries.

If I was rowat. I'd say to Lansbury sign one year extension on same money he's on now and if he doesn't like the direction clubs going in come summer. The agree to sell him. Might even get more money for him. Or get villa to part with Gardner plus 2m.

Fawas wil do deal because if he was to back out now then he will be stuck with forest. because no possible future buyer will do business with him. I think he just doesn't want new owners to be able to have the time to recruit new players to save our season and turning things around for next season to be in with a shout at promotion. Yes I know what some going to say. It's in his interest with 20% stake for us to be a success. But This would make him look a bigger idiot. If that's possible

Billy just got rid of the people he didn't like and put idiots in their place. He then isolated academy and he wouldn't talk to press. Then he lost the plot. Pearce was the one who was putting the right people in place. From academy to scouts and CEO. But lost his way when Cohen Reid and Hobbs got injured. He eventually lost the changing room. Due to the likes of Darlow pato lechelas. If the above 3 hadn't got injured things would have been different.
