Lam seems to be getting game time in the friendlies. Does this mean he is making his way back in? Never rated him myself.

1.) 21 Jul 2018 23:53:19
Hope not

2.) 22 Jul 2018 09:23:27
Always thought he had potential, but it may be his last chance.

3.) 22 Jul 2018 17:53:10
I also see that Vellios and Clough have been given a run out with the U23s. No one can accuse Karanka of not being given a chance.

4.) 22 Jul 2018 18:08:31
Velious got plenty of game time in the last pre season and scored a few goals. Much good it did him, so it means nothing on the face of it.

5.) 22 Jul 2018 21:19:37
Playing alfreton town and it's always the same with vellios,He needs to drop down to league one that's his level.

6.) 22 Jul 2018 21:45:47
My point is lads that Karanka is prepared to give everyone a chance. If they don't come up to scratch then they will be gone. You can't say fairer than that can you. I admire Karankas honesty and I think that every player in the squad will know exactly where they stand.

7.) 22 Jul 2018 22:57:24
Do not tell Gary Neville that Alfreton have got into the EFL without buying a Rooney?

8.) 22 Jul 2018 23:24:50
Sgetty what about bridcutt, he gave him a chance at the end of last season he played really well yet ak still doesn't seem to favour him personally I rate him

9.) 22 Jul 2018 23:59:38
Red they haven't still in the northern section.
Think they need a vellios 😂😂

10.) 23 Jul 2018 11:41:50
Red James I agree about Bridcutt. I am not sure if he's had any pre-season game time tbh?

05 Jun 2018 19:34:15
Any more news about who may be on their way out?

1.) 05 Jun 2018 19:44:12
I’m on my way out - steak night and a few beers🍻

2.) 05 Jun 2018 20:13:28
Excellent 2tone, as long as don't want a pay off.😁

3.) 05 Jun 2018 20:42:42
2tone are you going to a restaurant that's got glass tables so you can watch yourself while you are eating?

4.) 05 Jun 2018 21:21:57
Have a few for me 2tone 🍻🍻

Posh’s owner said last night when someone asked him if Marriott had gone and he replied saying he’s already gone . . . on holiday to Spain.

7.) 06 Jun 2018 10:24:32
More like see what he's spilled???

May not b news to many but just come back from Greece. Conversation with 2 Greek guys about football. Told them about Olympiakos owner taking over forest and asked if they thought it was good or bad. They said good - spends money, re-invests, long term planning. Olympiakos now cut above every other Greek team. But he is under investigation for 2 allegations - use of his shipping line to smuggle heroine and illegal betting. Not sure where that leaves the fit and proper test?

1.) 06 Jun 2016 14:27:36
Sounds like he could be a good owner for the club if you ignore the allegations against him. I would like to think he'll pass the fit and proper person test as Cellino did at Leeds and he's got a string of convictions against his name!

2.) 06 Jun 2016 14:55:51
As he is actively involved in politics drugs and betting are very easy allegations to throw at an opponent!

3.) 06 Jun 2016 15:11:10
He is on bail in Greece and reports to a police station every 15 days, he's been accused of match fixing, bribing refs, politicians and the Greek fa and violence towards an official. Lots of baggage with this guy but no court as made any of it stick yet.

4.) 06 Jun 2016 15:52:31
Great owner, does what he needs to do to get the job done (y) haha.

5.) 06 Jun 2016 16:21:44
He's a Greek Seop blatter lol.

6.) 06 Jun 2016 19:12:22
Had we have had him as owner last year a free blast of opium might have made DF and his crap football bearable.

Perhaps the doggie lovers were all smashed last season. :in God we trust.

7.) 06 Jun 2016 19:15:44
Poor Charlton fans.

Muted to have snared billy Davies whose football would have looked like heaven compared to what slade the journeyman will serve up and their torture of 2016.

Charlton have gone from dead Certs for promotion to maybes in the rat race of many.

Slade won't make any purse from a sows ear let alone a silk one.

8.) 06 Jun 2016 19:29:38
Bribing refs and the FA may be the only chance of promotion we have!

9.) 06 Jun 2016 19:34:25
Lol 2 star great comment on dougmiester football 😅😅😅.

10.) 06 Jun 2016 19:36:38

I know it was meant as as joke but there is nothing funny about drug use.

11.) 06 Jun 2016 22:17:31
No offence meant tomorrow - apologies if I offended you.

12.) 07 Jun 2016 16:00:14
No there isn't TNGH. I've been addicted to Forest for over 40 yrs!

13.) 07 Jun 2016 17:08:03
Forest not a good drug. Too many lows not enough highs!

What is it with Fox? Fans don't like him but I don't see it. Only seen him play well. Have I just been lucky?

1.) 26 Oct 2017 23:14:08
Don't worry mcrtree.
Some have got a list, never mind just fox.
Try Smith,Darikwa, mills,Worrall, bridcutt, clough,Brereton ? All get a fair bit of stick.
Then there's the manager Warburton?
He just gets caned.

2.) 27 Oct 2017 13:04:04
Imo Fox deserves more praise than criticism. At times he was woeful (like others - Kasami etc) but then got frozen out of the team completely; like a leper. He got back in, got switched to CB & put in some outstanding (yes) efforts. He has been professional throughout with no dummy spitting & interviews well. A clean sheet vs Burton & Fox played. Imo he is first 11.

3.) 27 Oct 2017 14:52:34
Fox is an intelligent player, but has no pace to stop fast wingers when he plays left back. In the centre he can pick a really good pass to set up attacks. He needs to be used where his strengths are, not his weaknesses.

4.) 27 Oct 2017 15:49:01
From bits I,ve heard Danny Fox is a real good bloke ,Forest involved in charity or Hospital visits he,s always there .

5.) 27 Oct 2017 17:28:18
Charity work is great but the hospital visits were just to check on his injured team mates 😂

Also think we need to keep Experinced good players like Fox. Remember we haven’t yet proved we’re anything more than a mid table championship team and he still offers us a lot.

Is Lam still on our books? Can’t say I’ve seen much of him play but when I did he seemed lost.

I like the way he’s handled himself and the situation on the TV. Seems to have something sensible and interesting to say unlike the standard tosh that many trot out. I’d give him a go as manager. He may get offers from others if we don’t.

Please not Keane. Remember what he did to Alf Inge Haaland?

Keane is a thug. Remember what he did to haaland? I’d have O’Neill though.
