Not sure what nigel clough means by not the right time. when is the right time???. when fawaz has gone and we are doing loads better???. if so why would we want him then?. you had your chance nigel you won't get another.

Fawaz says 'yes I am. ' Nigel would have been mad to come under these circumstances. If JJMoore comes back in the summer and is serious about building the club Nigel would be his ideal choice as manager. I know JJ Moores was looking at Rowlett but Clough would be a better option. I never understood the hype surrounding Rowlett. He was unfortunate to get sacked by Birmingham, but other than that nothing more than an average manager. Pearson would be like appointing Davies on steroids. Another gobby bully, with less talent than he believes he has. We need to get behind Gary Brazil and Jack Lester.

Really, I'd be Laughing if were them. Oh I forgot of course it's just the same as when his dad came. He won me league with Derby and took them into Europe and now he's coming to forest and will do the same, I see why they are worried. Some fool said that he's being pursued because no one else wants the job, they will see that they are wrong and the name Clough gives us the keys to the Crown Jewels of football. For the record I love Nigel Clough, he's one of my heros. However, the ridiculous notion that exists in some quarters, that because of his name, he will put us into the footballingi is elite is frankly unrealistic and embarrassing. Too many of our fans have unrealistic expectations which I think contributes to the circus we have become. I'm afraid Derby fans are laughing at us and we will be the gift that keeps on giving for a while yet.

2star, nobody expects the glory heights of yesterday. Just a good solid manager that knows these leagues well. If Nigel was that messiah then he would be managing a team in the top 6 of the prem.

No Nigel is fantastic choice at this moment. Remember pearce had little experience other than under 21 and bit role at man city. Nigel is proven at this level and this level is where we will ve for the foreseeable future. Given time, which js a premium then he is our best hope for any future upward movement.

My point was it's nice to see derby fans upset. and of course I don't think nigel will do what his dad did but he is proven at this level . and rebuilds clubs from the bottom up. which is exactly what we need. and he is nigel clough.

At this very moment I think I would be happy keeping Brazil and Lester in charge till the end of the season. . maybe even longer.
I think with them in charge a lot of the young talent they have been training will get the chance to shine.

When Brazil was in charge last time I seem to remember the results were very poor. He does not appear to be saying he wants the job, do not think he did last time. Everything points to Fawaz keeping Brazil for costs reasons, I cannot see a new manager coming at present, maybe if we loose the next 2 games the situation may change. a draw tonite will keep him longer.
