A Swedish goalkeeper who has been on loan at Forest for the whole of last season. Brought to the club by SP, having been found by John Marshall. Very highly rated.

Tails (Paul Taylor) has said Forest should complete loan deal for Jack Hunt from Palace within next 24 hours. He's a right back that can play right midfield.
1.) Was superb going forward against Cardiff in televised game when at Huddersfield
Was purchased by Palace and destined for 1st team but then broke his ankle early on and loaned out at of last season
Excellent loan signing for us and this level

3.) Whats wrong with Lichaj? Thought he would be ready for start of season. He was quality last season.
Is this for cover?
4.) Good signing, Lichaj worried me at times last season, distribution and positioning was poor

5.) Sounds like a 6 month loan. so won't be rushing Lichaj back. IMO
6.) Lichaj still recovering from surgery but think he's hoping to be back in full training in next week or so but believe will miss first couple of weeks of season whilst getting match fit. Expect this will be for cover mainly.
7.) Think I would prefer Martin Kelly in on loan if he's fit again
8.) @ van this is what's confusing me (tho that's quite easily done!)
We seem to have loads of defenders on paper but I'd still say yes to him. it's worrying how much game time Harding, Collins and to a lesser amount Halford have been getting.
First choice on paper or not it looks like they'll have a massive part to play again this season. better the devil we know? Would Leigerterwood (sic?) and Haidera do a better job?

10.) I am abit blah to this news, with the defneders we have we should be able to cover this position until Lihaj is fit. Who is a quality full back!
I want to see something abit further up the park, box tox central midfielder, so when we have an injury to Lansbury (For example) we all don't panic!! I think the business to now is great, but we should be thinking about further up the park.

It's good we've got cover for now but I just don't think he's that good he played a few good games for Huddersfield was never good enough for palace in the first place I saw him play for Barnsley three or four times and he didn't look very good I hope he proves me wrong but I think he was a flash in the pan and might be dodgy for us
12.) Re Jvreddog, we don't have any full back cover for the right side and I'm not convinced that halford is good cover in that position. It sounds like Pearce doesn't either. And from what's been said about hunt it sounds like he's a good attacking full back which is good news. If we can get round pegs then that's surely better than making do with players that aren't suited to their roles. Strength in depth!
13.) I thought Laing & Mancienne ciuld play RB
14.) After the signing of this rb Rather then centre mids because we've got mancienne and liang who could also step in there when other players are fit we need some wingers with pace IMO
15.) Fine with cover on RB, but Lichaj is class and will be missed until he is back.

@Just2Good he broke his foot in his first game for Palace so how can you judge him? I know a Barnsley fan who raved about him and that was at a time when he was just getting his fitness back? If SP wants him then good enough for me!

Burnley have made a bid for Patterson - According to Sky Sources. Not sure if we should let him go or not, on last season performances I would let him go but he's still young and learning.

Haidara & Leigertwood both start tonight both on trial. Think both might get offered deals if do okay as both been on trial for most of pre-season so far.

Leigertwood looked overweight and slow with bad first touch last night.would not sign on that evidence unless he improves massively.Heidara was OK at left back but looks like a centre back

2.) Agreed but he looked decent on the ball I thought. Hasn't really had a pre-season and this was his first bit of game time. I'd certainly give him a bit more time to impress. Only going from previous seasons at the mo but he is a quality player

Terminating a contract won't free up any wages as this would be in the budget for this year, loaning will free up wages depending on how much the other team contribute.

Seems we're still going to be paying some of his wages so won't be getting either of the strikers that were lined up, if anything happens i'll expect in be in a few weeks time when loan window opens.

Cohen isn't probably going to be ready for first football for a couple more months yet, think main difference between other clubs and us with Injuries as they have bigger squads as we only have 24 minus the youngsters, Lichaj could do a job as LB until we can get a Loanee if Iacovitti isn't ready as both MM and GM could cover at RB.
72Red he can play both LB and CB.
