The bid from Derby for Lansbury has been rejected. On SSN.

NFFCSmithy

1.) 01 Jan 2017 20:55:31
Joke bid anyway I thought the £2.5 million was for the deposit!

2.) 01 Jan 2017 21:24:31
He's got 6months left on his contract £2.5 is a good bid!

3.) 01 Jan 2017 22:32:22
Take the money let fawaz have it then hopefully he might go with another 2.5 mill in his pocket.

4.) 01 Jan 2017 23:05:56
This lansbury saga has been dragging on for months now first he would sign a contract then nothing if he wants to go then let him we have young players on way new owners let's start again if he signed for watford he will play in there next game when his hamstring will have cleard up just like that cash in now move with the young players who will play for the shirt.

burnley have made an umdisclosed offer for Nottingham Forest winger Jamie Paterson.

- SSN

NFFCSmithy

1.) 23 Jun 2015 11:08:27
Get as much money as we can. Burnley can afford 1 million + even if he is not worth that on current form plus insert a sell on clause. At least when he improves which he's bound to we can get some more £ when he is sold again.

2.) 23 Jun 2015 15:03:47
If he's bound to improve, why not keep him? He was on fire season before last, he can do that again.

3.) 23 Jun 2015 15:11:50
Walsall also will benefit if they buy him as they have got a sell on clause. Unfortunately Burnley won't offer much just like they tried with Lansbury.

4.) 23 Jun 2015 15:44:46
Sorry but DF is starting to worry me! By letting JP go he is sending the wrong message! He hasn't suddenly become a bad player! The problem lies in the coaching system somewhere over the years! We have lost too many who have made good after leaving the CG!

5.) 23 Jun 2015 15:59:00
He had his chances under SP and DF. Looks like poor attitude and being lightweight have cost him. Let him go, we have better in U21s.

6.) 23 Jun 2015 16:16:09
Burnley didn't offer much?have a day off.they offered what he was worth.

7.) 23 Jun 2015 16:33:46
Bsered.

When it came to Radi having a poor attitude, and being lightweight, Wilderbeast said a player with natural talent should be kept, and he can train to stop being a lightweight.

8.) 23 Jun 2015 16:38:47
Easy guys! Burley making an offer is not the same as dougie letting him go.

9.) 23 Jun 2015 16:41:05
He will have to improve a hell of a lot to get in Burnley's side

10.) 23 Jun 2015 17:11:53
We should swap him for boyd minus the eye test.

11.) 23 Jun 2015 17:46:42
You cannot compare Radi and Paterson. I would still like to know what evidence riverofoaks has got that Radi has a bad attitude which I know for a fact Paterson has continually showed.

12.) 23 Jun 2015 17:48:17
haha will anyone see the logic in that though North London Red?

13.) 23 Jun 2015 18:24:38
Wilderbeast. How long has Radi been in English football, yet he has not bulked himself up, or got himself fit enough ie bad attitude.

As Ed001 said there is no excuse for a professional footballer to lack fitness.

14.) 23 Jun 2015 19:45:28
Radi trains as hard as anyone and is as fit as a butchers dog riverofoaks which is nothing to do with being lightweight. But in your world this somehow gives him a bad attitude

15.) 23 Jun 2015 20:23:52
Johnnyv77. this is a rumours site.

Losing faith in the manager because you read that another club MAY have made an offer for one of our players is just odd!

16.) 23 Jun 2015 20:29:47
If he is fit as a butchers dog, why has he not got the energy to last a whole game?

As for a bad attitude, it comes in different forms. If your game, or body is lacking in a particular department, then it shows a bad attitude not to put it right.

The length of time Radi has known them to be deficient, yet no improvement. Why.

17.) 23 Jun 2015 20:34:14
River: I think Pato lacks real commitment both in tackling and in being part of a team effort and that's why I feel he's lightweight. He stands on the edges of play and can occasionally pick up good goals, but if you look at the teams that have gone up to Premier in recent years, W. Brom, Leicester, etc. they are all huge blokes who run fast and tackle hard. In every team we have crafty little ball players - Reid, Osborn, but they need big blokes around them. As for Radi: he was good when he came, but in the last few years he has lost his energy and desire coupled with a loss of speed and ability, so for me he's of little use now. DF needs a big clear-out and a system that players fit into and buy into; we can't just keep plugging holes in the team and hoping somehow we will do better.

18.) 23 Jun 2015 20:56:53
Bsered.

At least that is constructive criticism, and makes sense.

10 Aug 2014 12:15:51
SSN reckon it is us Newcastle and Palace fighting it out for Zaha

NFFCSmithy

1.) Not really in the running then are we!!

09 Aug 2014 10:28:15
KD and JL move confirmed on OS ans SSN. Good luck to them!

NFFCSmithy

1.) 09 Aug 2014 10:49:06
Have they been loaned back in time for today? Well lascalles is still injured I know but what about darlow?

2.) 09 Aug 2014 12:21:21
I wouldn't play Jamaal anyway, Think Mancienne and Hobbs is our best centre back pairing and when Wilson isn't injured I'd have him as a backup. The lad's moving on so don't see what we gain from playing him when we could be playing other youngsters.

Darlow on the other hand is our best keeper so makes sense to play him although maybe De Vries should be given a chance?

3.) 09 Aug 2014 21:18:15
As much as I wish them well but they'll end up out on loan next year to an other championship club if not back at the city ground, but on bigger wages

04 Aug 2014 08:04:17
The 2 players SP was talking about is Huddersfields Adam Clayton and Peterboroughs Assombalonga. Radi to Huddersfield on loan was a sweetener for the Clayton deal and both deals expected to be done before Blackpool

NFFCSmithy

1.) Got a feeling Lacelles to Geordies for £3m is the 'strange' news we've been hearing about. Although it would certainly be strange and frustrating considering the other offers we've turned down, I don't think it would be the end of the world if Lacelles were to leave. Hobbs and Mancienne would always be first choice for me, with Fox also looking the part at CB along with back up from Liang, Collins and Riera. Landsbury is the key man I feel we need to keep to really build a team around him, plus we don't have the quality cover in midfield.

Admittedly Newcastle is a massive club and there's more chance of game time there than at a top 4 club, however they're a club that appear to have completely stagnated with a really negative atmosphere around the place. Forest though is a club on the the up with an air of excitement around the place, but if Jamaal feels it's a good career move good luck to him!

2.) Rumour was Adam Clayton having trial at Brighton,

3.) I think it was max Clayton formerly of Crewe who is on trial at Brighton.

4.) I would still say Hobbs & Wilson are our best centre back partnership, although with injury worries over the latter this may not happen!

Ed - have you heard of any truth over the Lacelles rumour? It does indeed sound srange.

{Ed034's Note - i havnt but it seems pretty certain something is going off

5.) The two players will be darlow and lascelles joining on loan from Newcastle haha

6.) Hobbs and Mancienne are the main centre backs. this is good business. Emitov will be our number 1 after this season. Hence the long contract

7.) Done deal by tomorrow. according to Newcastle

8.) Well it seems that Alan Nixon, saying some news coming out of the city ground as strange, was correct, he's not the only one that finds this strange, if the amount is correct, best wait and see.

I may be wrong but i'm sure Ward and Mills can't be confirmed until July 1st when there contracts at DCFC and BWFC expire? No reason to be worried and them not joining

NFFCSmithy

1.) 06 Jun 2015 11:45:32
Ward has already been released by the sheep. Free agent, what's stopping him? Maybe Holding out for a better deal?

2.) 06 Jun 2015 12:56:28
Agree with NFFCSmithy Ward wants to stay in the Midlands and the Championship so not a lot of choice really

3.) 06 Jun 2015 19:37:59
Teams can announce players in jan when there contracts don't end till June!so that isn't the problem here.

4.) 07 Jun 2015 11:08:25
I'm led to believe that their contract ends when they play the last match of the season so there should be no problem now with any of the suggested signings.

{Ed001's Note - contracts end at midnight June 30th.}

25 Aug 2014 04:25:15
Patrick Bamford is on the verge of completing a loan move to Reading, hence being at the game on saturday.

How about this for a chant. To the tune of kaiser chiefs I predict a riot. Ner ner ner etc etc. Brit and matty fryatt, Brit and matty fryatt.

2.) 25 Aug 2014 13:30:52
It's tops I think, we need some new imaginative songs, back in the day we had a song for every player, be great to recreate that.

3.) How about to to the tune of staying alive! A a a a Antonio Antonio! A a a a antonioooooooooooo

4.) I remember the simple chant to Nigel Clough! It was . Nigel, Nigel, Nigel, Nigel

02 Jul 2014 11:05:13
Ross McCormack has handed in a transfer request at Leeds, although Fulham seems to be the most talked about destination for him I think Forest should try a bid, what do you think Ed?

NFFCSmithy

{Ed034's Note - not for the money being spoken about I dont

1.) The bloke has one good season now he's worth £10 mill some teams have way too much money to gamble

Does anyone else think that MW may be doing it to wind him up a bit and make him goal hungry? I remember we did it with Kris Commons a few years ago, was playing well then suddenly got dropped, it wound him up and when he came back in to the team he was on fire.

Conceding that many goals was down to confidence, constant chop and change and no consistency, not just personel. Agree that we should bring a CB but wouldny be overly worried if we didn't.
