Phew! never in doubt!

So relieved and delighted we are confirmed as Championship for next year.

Now need AlHasawi gone, a dreadful tyrant who has decimated OUR club, a new owner, a new structure with CEO, CFO, DOF and stability.

Players to leave, plenty!

Players to join, a few to add quality.

Enjoy the Summer, and
Lets look forward to next season with renewed optimism.

Takeover as good as done NEP!

Now where have I heard that before?

1.) 17 Apr 2017 11:09:55
I think it was the red bull deal wasn't it or was that the one in your head?

2.) 17 Apr 2017 16:56:52
There won't be a takeover if we're in the 3rd Division!

3.) 17 Apr 2017 17:42:03
UTF. That single brain cell working overtime for you mate!

RB and JJM both rebuffed by the bafoon who has provided the worst 5 years in my 50 years supporting this great club.

4.) 17 Apr 2017 18:31:45
I hope they are ok running a league one club.

5.) 17 Apr 2017 18:41:02
Long, are they taking over Blackburn.

6.) 17 Apr 2017 20:41:15
Lol. north notts. does it make you feel better saying iv got one brain cell, if it makes you feel better about yourself i will give you permission to keep saying it.
I'm surprised that red bull havnt come back in after showing all that interest earlier in the season.
Seems you like calling people fawaz is a buffoon (correct spelling and meaning) and saying iv got one brain cell.

{Ed003's Note - 'ere we go }

7.) 17 Apr 2017 21:11:08
Haha 1 brain cell gives you too much credit pal.

You constantly disagree with almost everyone and post utter rubbish yourself.

Have you taught yourself the FFP rules yet or do you want me to go through them again?

Bottom line is we are all Forest fans and this shambolic regime has us falling out on forums due to the dire state this owner has created.

8.) 17 Apr 2017 21:29:11
Don't mention foxes Edd

{Ed003's Note - Eh ? }

9.) 17 Apr 2017 22:00:40
Yea teach me them again north Notts I want to understand how we spent on January when we should of been in an embargo.

10.) 18 Apr 2017 11:26:31
Here we go, were the championships Arsenal all fans fighting lol.

12 Mar 2017 22:25:41
McClaren sacking is worst thing possible before Saturday.

They will have Rowett as manager by then.

1.) 13 Mar 2017 08:56:33
The McClaren sacking has come back to haunt us, this is sending us to Division 1. They will have a top class Manager in this week, they are not giving the Assistant Chris Powell the job, all his backroom staff have gone.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 12:52:45
Rowet getting the job will have no bearing on Saturday result he will not have had time to get his way of playing accross by then he's a manager not a magician
They'vehad ex England Manager twice ex real Madrid assistant, a manager who can get promotion and now they banking on a man whoes got very average players at brum to play above their station. good luck with that one sheep
All I'm concerned about is Cohen being fit and he picks right team and not playing out of position.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 22:52:26
I feel like a jobsworth saying it but it needs to be said as the gravity of the situation is dire. we are not going to be relegated to Division 1 (the Premier League), we are going to be relegated to Division 3 (League One) - obviously there is still time for us to avoid relegation.
We are however (already) the only European club competition champions ever to be relegated to their domestic third tier already. so nothing new.

13 Jan 2017 23:18:26
It appears the American consortium drastically reduced the offer price based on the fan base turning on the owner and them feeling he had nowhere to go. His ego wouldn't let him sell for £25m which was their revised offer.

Can't blame the Americans. This is business at the end of the day, only ourselves are supporters. If he sells all the assets of the club including players, and land holdings he would not raise £25m. He either has to start funding the club or find a new owner or sell everything and get us relegated.

1.) 14 Jan 2017 00:11:58
I reckon that's about the gist of the matter?

2.) 14 Jan 2017 00:16:04
We could all see this coming, some people have been worried from day one and sceptical about why anyone would entertain buying into the club-and that's without even thinking about the damage being caused by fawaz's lack of money and behaviour. Some people think a protest will miraculously make fawaz disappear and new owners jump out from the woodwork.

I'm not so sure, there was no queue of buyers last time and we are less attractive now. I can see our downward spiral continuing with fawaz just trying to get as much cash out as he can and ultimately the club crumbling. I really hope I'm wrong but I just can't see why anyone would invest in the club, let alone buy someone else out. We are struggling big time and I'm genuinely worried for our future.

3.) 14 Jan 2017 00:20:12
Also it was £50 million back around nov and dec so before we were two points off relegation, before we're about to lose lansbury, and with performances on the pitch and the deadweights in the team, it's no wonder the value of the club has gone down. But to £25 mill that is quite a reduction if true. problem is who is going to buy it for more now, Fawaz?

4.) 14 Jan 2017 07:12:51
£50m was availiable and in the bank on 22nd December ready for Fawaz's signature and he went silent on them. This is still his making!

5.) 14 Jan 2017 08:02:52
Derby, Leicester, Notts and every team in the championship are crying with laughter at us! We're like a monty python sketch! An ex parrot maybe! No longer a football club, more a farse!

6.) 14 Jan 2017 08:17:40
At the end of the day, the Americans had the deal set in place last month ready to go, Fawaz has constantly been dodging signing for whatever reason. Now the club is in a much worse place than where it was when the original £50m was agreed.

the Americans must be sick of Fawaz constantly moving the goalposts then when they did it to Fawaz he pulled the plug. Realistically I don't think Fawaz wants to sell, but he wants to make it look like he's trying.

People are saying about the Americans falling through on 3 takeover attempts with clubs, but now Fawaz has fallen through on a Greek sale, a possible sale to Red Bull and now this one.

I've tried to stay positive until the takeover was done, but now this has fallen through I really fear for our club. It can be a slippery slope from here, just look at teams like Blackpool.

11 Dec 2016 21:04:14
Vellios leaving in January as funded by Greek money and they either want their money or him back at Olympiakos.

1.) 11 Dec 2016 21:40:34
Good he's rubbish.

2.) 11 Dec 2016 21:54:35
Joint top scorer!

3.) 11 Dec 2016 23:36:56
Back at a club he didn't come from?

4.) 12 Dec 2016 05:38:51
He signed on a 4 year deal in June so unlikely! Just to clear a few things up from yesterday. Poor second half but Bent should have sent off, two bookable offences. Fine save from Carson from Cash but overall beaten by better side.

5.) 12 Dec 2016 06:13:35
But he's never played for Olympiakos so how can they want him 'back there'? Load of rubbish.

6.) 12 Dec 2016 06:18:05
Fawaz said it was his money that signed Vellios. Yet another lie. It was always obvious that the Greek bloke lent the money so that Vellios could be signed. A sweetener helping the Greek bloke buy the club. On a separate note, it is obvious that PM is a decent bloke, but he is very nieve in relation to team selection, and is not good enough to manage a side in a very competitive league.

7.) 12 Dec 2016 07:46:43
Olympiakos owner funded it.

8.) 12 Dec 2016 08:56:11
Vellios and fryatt out. Rhodes in?

9.) 12 Dec 2016 10:14:24
Ben Brereton would have done a better job than Bendtner yesterday, and Edser a better job than Kasami.

10.) 12 Dec 2016 12:14:36
bsered fully agree. I think he should give them both a starting role on Tuesday night. I would still include Bendtner though playing in a 4-4-2 formation as his hold up play is second to none!

11.) 13 Dec 2016 07:55:13
Who's fryatt? Never heard of him.

Last scored a league goal at home?
December 9th!

At least Warburton had plan A. Youth and style and formation and was heading for mid table. Which the hierarchy said was this seasons target.

This bloke seems to have no plan. No style. And worse still has signed a load of aged high paid rubbish.
Tomlin looks so heavy he could turn out for the wagon and horses on Sun morning and wouldn't look out of place.

1.) 10 Feb 2018 21:35:46
North Notts never a truer word spoken and I don't care how many thumbs down I get cus I collect them.
He's come in upset the whole club and you can add Eric to that today.
He has no man management skills and belongs in a casino gambling with our future by placing it on dole queue footballers.

Shocking to watch and very obvious he's lost the dressing room.
Warnock said it all about tomlin and yet Karanka got a soft spot for him?
Owners have made a bad decision should have let things run and stability like they promised.
All I see now is league one.

2.) 11 Feb 2018 00:27:47
All very dramatic. Rome and all that.

02 Jan 2018 19:19:58
Where has Wishey gone? He spoke more sense than most and he seems to have given up!

Keep the faith Wishey, your opinion is valued, regardless of whether everyone always agree with you!

1.) 02 Jan 2018 20:23:12
I've heard of 'where's Wally' but not 'where's Wishey'.

2.) 02 Jan 2018 21:03:20
Think he’s on vacation with the warburton family.

3.) 02 Jan 2018 21:16:08
And you shall have a fishy,
On a little dishy,
You shall find our Wishy,
When the boat comes in.😀

4.) 02 Jan 2018 23:49:51
He was last seen at the city ground in a shirt and tie suited and booted at approximately 17.45 today exiting a white limo. Could he be the new forest boss hence the lack of posts and stealthy behaviour? Odds are 6/1 according to bookies. 😂

30 Dec 2017 20:19:28
Happy New Year fellow reds fans.

In context, what a fantastic year 2017 has been.

We are rid of the worst owner ever seen in the UK.

We have a manager trying to play good passing football albeit with a poor personnel.

Two more transfer windows to get rid of the dross and the injured ie Hobbs Traore Vaughan Coleen Liceij Mills Mancienne Etc to be replaced with new signings and more from our academy and 2018 will be another year of great progress.

1.) 30 Dec 2017 21:15:54
And when he gets the sack who is going to take the 5scottish players off our hands who aren't good enough, leaving us with more mess to clear

2.) 30 Dec 2017 21:18:56
Why are all the good posts in the banter section. But completely agree with you!

3.) 30 Dec 2017 21:53:38
Throughly depressing xmas, glad to see the back of it football wise. Talking of fawaz has we wondering where we might be now had the yanks taken over and the man I wanted to replace PM, Gary Rowett had come in? He's not done bad has he. I think of those slagging Rowett off when we were linked to him.Rams I know said the football was awful to start and not the greatest now but he knows how to set a team up to get results

4.) 30 Dec 2017 22:08:11
I’d rather play it around in our own half and lose games perks, it’s far more entertaining.

5.) 30 Dec 2017 22:48:36
Fine margins 2 star, you know that.

04 Dec 2017 20:26:06
Watching Wolves. Different class but only 1 up after 35 mins. Maybe due to their £40m spend!

The holding midfielder no 4 is just the sort of physical presence we need in front of the centre half's.

The work rate of the front three is superb.

Hope Forest players, McKay, Walker et all are watching the work rate off the ball!

1.) 04 Dec 2017 21:36:27
It’s a local derby where anything can happen.when we played brum (very poor side) how many were we up after 35 mins?

03 Dec 2017 19:28:12
I agree with Wishy.

Fans need to get some perspective. Six whole months ago the club had no infrastructure, a lunatic of an owner and missed relegation by goal difference.

We then had to sell our star player to try and balance the FFP issues created under the previous owner.

We are not where our new owner, our manager or we as fans wish for, BUT we are blooding 6 or 7academy products every week, and we need 3 or four players to come in and offload some of the out of contract payers in the summer.

Patience, mid table this year is progress.

1.) 03 Dec 2017 19:42:05
Northnotts red.
Some expect success like their coffee.

2.) 03 Dec 2017 20:33:15
North Notts your dead right.
We are getting the possession side of the game right instead of just lumping it up for it to come straight back at us.
With some new additions in next 2 windows I’m sure it will get better in defence and up front. Can’t change the players and style over night on our budget.
Even Man City struggled relatively last season under Pep with an open cheque book but with time and patience look at them this season.
I’m not saying we will ever be like Man City but we will improve

3.) 03 Dec 2017 21:05:42
Let's hope he gets the right blend 😋😋😋

4.) 03 Dec 2017 22:06:52
Rogie and some cream on the top🍻

Warburton had a plan as well. And he got more points per game than Kranky.
He only had one window as well!!

That said hope Kranky gets summer to sort us out for next season.

Marney has played 30 odd games in last three seasons. average 10per season. He has had 3 ACL injuries. He has been pictured with his agent talking to Karanka. He is 34!!!

He could be CHRIS Cowens replacement!!!!!!

Your description of most of the posters on this site is absolutely accurate.

Another premature and costly decision taken on the eve of the transfer window.

Our club is a laughing stock and so are most it’s fans.

We have made massive progress in the 9 months of new ownership.

What happened to Randall’s quote of “intensive care”,and “it will take time” and “Mark will be given time”? Pathetic!!

He should still be our manager.

He advocated entertaining football with our home grown talent and obtained more points per game and scored more goals than the current man who has brought in another load of loan players and played the last 9 hours without scoring, or even looking like scoring!!

I am not advocating a change but the last change was premature!!

Absolutely. feel a little for Worrall and Mancienne when you look at the midfield in front of them for most of the season. With Watson and Colback, they are bound to look better!!!!
