Billy Davies! Unfinished business! Ha.

1.) 24 May 2018 00:48:21
Unfinished business? Motherwell finally got to the Scottish Cup Final despite him!

2.) 25 May 2018 10:11:27
Billy Davies is finished in this business!

07 May 2017 20:48:58
Phew! never in doubt!

So relieved and delighted we are confirmed as Championship for next year.

Now need AlHasawi gone, a dreadful tyrant who has decimated OUR club, a new owner, a new structure with CEO, CFO, DOF and stability.

Players to leave, plenty!

Players to join, a few to add quality.

Enjoy the Summer, and
Lets look forward to next season with renewed optimism.

Takeover as good as done NEP!

Now where have I heard that before?

1.) 17 Apr 2017 11:09:55
I think it was the red bull deal wasn't it or was that the one in your head?

2.) 17 Apr 2017 16:56:52
There won't be a takeover if we're in the 3rd Division!

3.) 17 Apr 2017 17:42:03
UTF. That single brain cell working overtime for you mate!

RB and JJM both rebuffed by the bafoon who has provided the worst 5 years in my 50 years supporting this great club.

4.) 17 Apr 2017 18:31:45
I hope they are ok running a league one club.

5.) 17 Apr 2017 18:41:02
Long, are they taking over Blackburn.

6.) 17 Apr 2017 20:41:15
Lol. north notts. does it make you feel better saying iv got one brain cell, if it makes you feel better about yourself i will give you permission to keep saying it.
I'm surprised that red bull havnt come back in after showing all that interest earlier in the season.
Seems you like calling people fawaz is a buffoon (correct spelling and meaning) and saying iv got one brain cell.

{Ed003's Note - 'ere we go }

7.) 17 Apr 2017 21:11:08
Haha 1 brain cell gives you too much credit pal.

You constantly disagree with almost everyone and post utter rubbish yourself.

Have you taught yourself the FFP rules yet or do you want me to go through them again?

Bottom line is we are all Forest fans and this shambolic regime has us falling out on forums due to the dire state this owner has created.

8.) 17 Apr 2017 21:29:11
Don't mention foxes Edd

{Ed003's Note - Eh ? }

9.) 17 Apr 2017 22:00:40
Yea teach me them again north Notts I want to understand how we spent on January when we should of been in an embargo.

10.) 18 Apr 2017 11:26:31
Here we go, were the championships Arsenal all fans fighting lol.

12 Mar 2017 22:25:41
McClaren sacking is worst thing possible before Saturday.

They will have Rowett as manager by then.

1.) 13 Mar 2017 08:56:33
The McClaren sacking has come back to haunt us, this is sending us to Division 1. They will have a top class Manager in this week, they are not giving the Assistant Chris Powell the job, all his backroom staff have gone.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 12:52:45
Rowet getting the job will have no bearing on Saturday result he will not have had time to get his way of playing accross by then he's a manager not a magician
They'vehad ex England Manager twice ex real Madrid assistant, a manager who can get promotion and now they banking on a man whoes got very average players at brum to play above their station. good luck with that one sheep
All I'm concerned about is Cohen being fit and he picks right team and not playing out of position.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 22:52:26
I feel like a jobsworth saying it but it needs to be said as the gravity of the situation is dire. we are not going to be relegated to Division 1 (the Premier League), we are going to be relegated to Division 3 (League One) - obviously there is still time for us to avoid relegation.
We are however (already) the only European club competition champions ever to be relegated to their domestic third tier already. so nothing new.

13 Jan 2017 23:18:26
It appears the American consortium drastically reduced the offer price based on the fan base turning on the owner and them feeling he had nowhere to go. His ego wouldn't let him sell for £25m which was their revised offer.

Can't blame the Americans. This is business at the end of the day, only ourselves are supporters. If he sells all the assets of the club including players, and land holdings he would not raise £25m. He either has to start funding the club or find a new owner or sell everything and get us relegated.

1.) 14 Jan 2017 00:11:58
I reckon that's about the gist of the matter?

2.) 14 Jan 2017 00:16:04
We could all see this coming, some people have been worried from day one and sceptical about why anyone would entertain buying into the club-and that's without even thinking about the damage being caused by fawaz's lack of money and behaviour. Some people think a protest will miraculously make fawaz disappear and new owners jump out from the woodwork.

I'm not so sure, there was no queue of buyers last time and we are less attractive now. I can see our downward spiral continuing with fawaz just trying to get as much cash out as he can and ultimately the club crumbling. I really hope I'm wrong but I just can't see why anyone would invest in the club, let alone buy someone else out. We are struggling big time and I'm genuinely worried for our future.

3.) 14 Jan 2017 00:20:12
Also it was £50 million back around nov and dec so before we were two points off relegation, before we're about to lose lansbury, and with performances on the pitch and the deadweights in the team, it's no wonder the value of the club has gone down. But to £25 mill that is quite a reduction if true. problem is who is going to buy it for more now, Fawaz?

4.) 14 Jan 2017 07:12:51
£50m was availiable and in the bank on 22nd December ready for Fawaz's signature and he went silent on them. This is still his making!

5.) 14 Jan 2017 08:02:52
Derby, Leicester, Notts and every team in the championship are crying with laughter at us! We're like a monty python sketch! An ex parrot maybe! No longer a football club, more a farse!

6.) 14 Jan 2017 08:17:40
At the end of the day, the Americans had the deal set in place last month ready to go, Fawaz has constantly been dodging signing for whatever reason. Now the club is in a much worse place than where it was when the original £50m was agreed.

the Americans must be sick of Fawaz constantly moving the goalposts then when they did it to Fawaz he pulled the plug. Realistically I don't think Fawaz wants to sell, but he wants to make it look like he's trying.

People are saying about the Americans falling through on 3 takeover attempts with clubs, but now Fawaz has fallen through on a Greek sale, a possible sale to Red Bull and now this one.

I've tried to stay positive until the takeover was done, but now this has fallen through I really fear for our club. It can be a slippery slope from here, just look at teams like Blackpool.

As per Greek Journalist who has been correct so far we have two Greeks signing, one a forward and one a midfielder.

Neither selected by AK or his team. Does not bode well. Fawaz stile ownership is back!

1.) 04 Sep 2018 09:26:10
I can't help but think how many signings thus far have been down to AK if that's the case. If the owner is interfering in recruitment then I am filled with dread as it never ends well. I am praying that this is not so!

2.) 04 Sep 2018 10:36:12
Even if marinakis is interfering and he has been from day one, vellios.
The squad that karanka has should be performing better than they are.
Alot of championship managers would love to coach and be able to puck from that squad.
Alot of managers don't get so much of a say anymore in who the club sign, they are just told to coach.
Mendes was bought in by marinakis to find players and karanka to coach them,if that fails another manager will already be lined up

01 Sep 2018 18:30:50
Played 28, win percentage 21%
Signed 21 players, £27m (plus god knows how much in agent fees/ loan fees on top of this)
Academy regulars zero
Style of football - boring

Played 37, win percentage 41%
Signed 6 players, £6m (was only given 1 window and was told his remit was steady progression and develop academy! )
Academy regulars x 6 - Smith, Worrall, Osborne, Cash, Walker, Brereton. Would also be playing Yates by now
Style of football - exciting.

1.) 01 Sep 2018 18:51:08
NNR Warburtons football exciting?

Warburtons football was only exciting if you were a opposition fan as the opposition went through our midfield as if it was not there.

2.) 01 Sep 2018 18:57:22
We were in a better place both on and off the pitch north Notts that's for sure.
Marinakis must be getting very restless with karanka by now.
Question is?
Does he stick or twist?

3.) 01 Sep 2018 18:59:17
No change there then stags??

4.) 01 Sep 2018 19:03:01
Stags. Facts are facts mate. Look at the win%

5.) 02 Sep 2018 02:02:25
Sorry Warburons football was absolutely dire - just like Karanka .

25 Aug 2018 23:02:48
Dreadful again
Overrun in midfield
Centre half's both awful. How Worrall can't get in squad above Figs is astounding.
Brereton leaving. Let's see who replaces him!
Needs sorting or Karanka will be gone. the Greek won't mess about.

1.) 25 Aug 2018 23:58:16
Worrall is no better north Notts it’s a pipe dream. We shouldn’t be selling Brereton though - Cummings banging them in - granted in league one bit he’s still scoring nonetheless !

18 Aug 2018 15:10:19
Foguerafdo at fault again. Same against WBA for there goal.
And Worrall not good enough! joke. Yet another set piece!

15 Aug 2018 19:12:49
RIP NFFC Academy.

Very disappointed that neither Worrall or Brereton were given a chance last night.

Also disappointed to see Yates withdrawn at ht. Realise it was a tactical withdrawal but why not Watson. It will not have helped Yates confidence so he along with Worrall and Brereton will prob get loaned out.

Hefele was slow and turned like a tanker. Worrall much better.

1.) 15 Aug 2018 19:30:57
I think the Manager prefers experienced players.

2.) 15 Aug 2018 19:46:59
I'd be keeping worrell and brereton they've both got a lot to offer and will only get better playing alongside the likes of Dawson grabbon ect in side that's challenging for promotion instead of avoiding relegation.
Another loan spell for Yates in a decent side will bring him on more.
Bridgcutt I feel sorry for. LOoked ok last season once he settled and is as good as Watson

3.) 15 Aug 2018 20:47:30
Must admit I was hoping both Brereton and Worrall would get 90 mins last night.Maybe they are just not showing it in training.I have a feeling it might be Bridcutt going out on loan and Yates staying to battle it out with the other 3.

4.) 15 Aug 2018 20:59:41
Yet he put smith in goal and he had a nightmare.

5.) 15 Aug 2018 21:06:41
Have you ever thought for one minute that perhaps they just ain’t good enough!

6.) 16 Aug 2018 18:25:50
They are young players learning their trade. Worrall was excellent last year until he injured his knee. Brereton lead the line in a very poor team at 18 years old.

Worrall is an England u21 regular and Brereton an England u19 regular.

Both are good enough to be in our squad. And both good enough to start against the mighty Bury!!!!!!!!!

7.) 16 Aug 2018 18:57:33
You can’t lead the line on the wing Notts surley?he was played out of position for the first half of the season which for a young striker would be a confidence knocker.banging goals in in the academy then someone decides he’d be better out wide.

8.) 16 Aug 2018 22:17:50
Lead the line to a goal drought maybe. There is no way you regularly attend if you think Worral was excellent either .

9.) 18 Aug 2018 10:31:56
Season ticket holder and been watching for 48 years 2star. Worrall excellent otherwise wouldn’t have been given international recognition.

£4m is a lot of money for a one season wonder at a lower level.

It is in my opinion anyway.

However I look forward to us making signings and the two who Wolves tried to sign last year who we are now linked with Forest and are clients of Mendes excite me the most. If they are anywhere near Neves and Jota quality then we will be a serious force next season.
20/1 to win the league and 13/2 to be promoted.

It’s getting like Dads army. .Don’t panic Mr Marinakis!!!!!!

Karanka is not in control of what is happening otherwise he would not have said he wanted a squad of 22 supplemented by Academy, only to sign about 9 midfielders.

It’s obvious Marinakis has signed these latest additions as the Greek Journo indicated at the weekend on social media.

How the hell can anyone pick the best 11 from this lot. .???? Total lack of strategic direction.

The club 12 months ago said steady progress, build with young players and it will take time. we were making steady if not spectacular progress and now we have lurched back into Al Hasawi mode!!!!,
