I thought Eric Lichaj had a good game tonight, overlapping was excellent, put in some great tackles and moved the ball really well, also the midfield pressed well and we played it on the floor with a lot more confidence. In my eyes it was a vast improvement, hope they get some momentum going into Saturday, difficult pitch but I think we can get a result.

I've just read Garry Birtles' article, he always seems to talk sense and has a genuine affinity for the club, I am sad to see it not work out for Pearce, I like a lot of fans really wanted it to work, but as even the man himself said, results are the bottom line. Bit worrying where Birtles said that some players went behind Pearce's back complaining to Al Hasawi, if true it is a sad state of affairs. Feels like last March when Billy Davies went, we seem to pick up as a club then crash in spectacular fashion. I will support Forest through thick and thin and get behind Freedman, I just hope some stability can finally be achieved, and we turn things around, very unsettling times.

1.) People talk about sod but the players reportedly did the same thing to him. player power is a big thing nowadays

PK,
Do we know where GB got this info ? It is as you say very troubling.

As I said the other night these and other revelations will leave the club in a precarious state if the players fail to up their game, I see the crowd turning on them quickly if they don't perform, some of them have commited something similar to treachery in the eyes of some fans.

To those who have been clandestine in their ways heed the following message . he who wields the dagger seldom wears the crown.

3.) It is shocking if true, to get a manager the push from not putting in the effort or going behind his back, I personally think the dressing room is split not united, we have a team of individuals. The amount of times I saw Pearce in his technical area gesturing to certain players makes you wonder, we're they taking notice?

Says on SkySports ' WINDOW CLOSED'. I'm not surprised, it's freezing.

Just been to a training camp where my son has been, Chris Cohen presented all the trophies etc, just wanted to say what a genuine decent bloke he is, had time for everybody and answered loads of questions about the club and other stuff, nothing was a problem. Excellent example to kids, a real credit to the club. Hope you are reading this Mr Abdoun!

Very impressed today with the team as a whole, Andy Reid is a class act, makes the side tick, always looking for a killer pass or shot, Mancienne was A1 at the back, thought Fox did well at centre half. Pace from Antonio and Assambalonga was a big difference and Cohen carried on from where he left off. After a few matches once they are properly match fit I think we have the best chance in a long time to seriously challenge, Pearce has put the pride back into playing for Forest with this group, the biggest difference for the whole team was winning first time balls, always pressing, something we didn't do under Davies. I know it's early days but the foundations are there to succeed. I also liked what Pearce said about the Tranmere game, about fielding a strong side and not chopping and changing, great ethics and genuine about the club, so pleased he is in charge, restored so many peoples faith in the reds. Onwards and upwards!

Amazing experience yesterday can we have that at every home game.
Played really good 1st half 2nd well in patches.
Still got likes of Hobbs Lansbury Vaughen Wilson to get fit.
Don't need another forward fryatt Britt lars will do nicely
Also have pato and if we do have odd injury to any of these
Can bring loan in. Britt will score loads wants he settles in.
Let's not forget lots of debuts yesterday.
Need another centre midfielder because we will
Get injurys and suspensions to Lansbury Vaughen and Reid.
Reid pulls all strings so we don't want him burning himself out. Rest him when in cup and easier games.
Sure Pearce will bring another midfielder in.
But who?
Cohen was exceptional but I still prefare him left back.

Does this mean we will finally get Darren Pratley, with his Bolton connections?

Zolo is the oldest Toure brother, Kolo and Yaya good footballers, he's a binman I think. Is he left footed, if so we could get him on loan

Just imagine Roy Keane in charge, can you remember when he went round Tom Cleverley's house to have a word? He would scare the crap out of our squad, maybe give the team a jolt when backs against the wall? Be a good no2 not sure about no1 though, but need a fighting spirit instilled in the team

Wouldn't want Adkins at all, didn't set the league alight with Reading did he? Got to get some stability at Forest

Totally agree 2star, it's amazing how ungrateful some fans are. It is annoying when there is so much negativity towards the club, every fan of every club wants success, but it is extremely hard to come by. There is no magic formula, but being positive is half of the battle. I just hope that we can compete and do ourselves justice. I can remember this time last year and all the anticipation with Stuart Pearce, who would of expected how that turned out?

Louis Laing was on the list of released players, so I would assume he has left.

It was a shame to see Chambers go, only 2-3 weeks after he left, the al-Hasawis bought the club, he had to make a decision for his family, short career to make your money, played excellent with Morgan.

Dougie Freedman on interviews always praised his technical ability, and that was why he made him captain, a ploy if you like to bring out a sort of lead from the front mentality. I think the rest of the team need to perform consistently, I would say only Antonio had consistency last season. The whole team needs to pull in the same direction and my opinion is we are a team of individuals. If you look at Bournemouth there aren't any real superstars in that side, but they have a good mix, with the right kind of attitude. That's what Forest have lacked for years.

It's sad how quick fans turn on players, when he plays well, the whole team plays well, it would weaken us if he left. I hope Assombalonga comes back from injury and plays well or will he get the same treatment? Freedman needs time to get balance in the side, the restrictions won't help with signings, but let's give the whole club a break, there has been far too much disruption the past few years. I would support them if they were in the conference or the premier league, win lose or draw.
