So that terrible website which pulls everything out of perspective has latched onto a tw*t by John Percy that Fulham are interested in Mancienne. In a cricket metaphore, I think we will see FAH play another forward block, i.e. tell them to go to hell. That's on the basis that this rumour is true, which I doubt.

The "Dutch" lad that FAH might have mentioned, via Alan Nixon, could be Kyle Ebecilio from FC Twente. Some article on nowly news has mentioned him in connection with Forest.

Personally never heard of him but he made 60 apps in his first season and scored 10 goals. That's not too bad for a 21 year old.

Sorry, I read it wrong. 60 apps over the last two seasons. But that's still 1 goal in 6 for a midfielder in the top dutch league. Not bad. But another foreign player brings complications. The fact that Pinillos still can't play because there's paperwork outstanding is worrying.

2.) 13 Aug 2015 12:18:03
Pinillos is just waiting International Clearance normally this means the Spanish FA have not sent the English FA his registration (or the English haven't processed it)

3.) 13 Aug 2015 13:41:26
I understand that. But it seems strange how Stoke can get Shaqiri in this week and expect him to play on Saturday. Our guy has been at Forest since before the Villa friendly and still he's not featured. Is it all on the respective FAs to deal with or is something else at play? I'm speculating I know, but it still seems odd that it has taken so long.

4.) 13 Aug 2015 14:34:10
This is something that possibly would've been sorted/chased up with the FA's if we had a CEO. Money talks when comes to things like this, Multi Million pound players tend to have the paperwork signed and sent within hours but Free Transfer tend to take longer. A local non-league player had to wait 6 weeks to get International Clearance last season from the Scottish FA as he had played for Glasgow University!

Peltier has been linked again. Not a new story and one anyone can get from the CurrentNews feed. I was wondering whether the site that reported the rumour is actually reliable.

With the whole "Will he? Won't he?" with Hamer, Pinillos, Frey, HL, MA, Juke and Embecilio, how many spaces do we have left?

By my count that's two. Will they be filled though? That is the question.

Is this another master stroke from FAH.? I know all the boo boys will not agree, but did this exact same thing not happen last year i.e. loose Darlow and Lascelles and then get Antonio and Britt straight after.

If HL leaves, it's up to him. Maybe it's more money, maybe more realistic chance of PL next season, whatever. But it wouldn't surprise me if they sell him then sign Frey and the "Dutch" lad.

Whatever people's thoughts are, it's never dull being a Forest fan.

Who is the 'Dutch' lad? i have heard this a couple of times but no mention of a name. Can you enlighten me please?

So the mystery player (due to a tube strike I've had time to research), what do we actually know?

DF said it was a manager who owes him a favour. He's from a higher league, international, etc. According to Alan Nixon, he's also not from our fair shores. So which managers has DF had contact with? I can only think of George Burley (who he assisted at Palace) and he's the manager of Apollon Limassol. Other than that, maybe he had a whiskey with Moyes but there's nothing concrete, not that I can find. I'm desperately trying to find a link to Rafa Benitez but there's nothing forthcoming. This is all a vain attempt to waste time while Forest get their admin team to sort it out.

I guess we'll be waiting a little while longer.

1.) 06 Aug 2015 22:30:13
just because you can't find a link or have a clue doesn't mean its a waste of time by the club.
its a case of "need to know" and we as fans don't need to know till its happened.

2.) 06 Aug 2015 23:58:58
I wasn't talking about the club polska, I was saying that I was wasting time writing that post, using up as many minutes as I can, waiting for news. We will know when we need to know, that is very true. But Forest's administration team leave a lot to be desired.

So the Lansbury bid has been rejected. MA bids have all been rejected. Are Forest giving any indication they want or need to sell? No. So how do some fans think we are selling cheap? And how are DF or Fawaz making Forest a "laughing stock"? As for FFP, Forest would need to sell both for £10m each. Considering our position with all this, Forest need to keep them both. Who knows what negative effect selling them both might have on the team? We may struggle this year already. Without them, heads may already drop before a ball has even been kicked. Having thought about all this, it's imperative Forest keep them both. I'm glad the offers are being refused. Seems like Fawaz actually has some balls, and is definitely not making us a laughing stock. I could be wrong but I hope they ride all this out.

well said, i think certain clubs and tabloids seem to think we are a soft touch and it is not sinking in when the club keep saying that they are not selling DF has already told WBA that antonio is not for sale at any price as for burnley DYCHE should stop his obsession for lansbury when the player himself blew burnley off back in january. I am not naive if a stupid offer came for players then any club would be tempted, if a club wants to get promoted though you just cannot keep selling the best players simple as that.

I don't think the club makes its decisions based on the wishes of the fans. Well at least I hope it doesn't. That would be a sure-fire way to send the club into oblivion. I'm glad both HL and by the sounds of it MA are staying. We may have already done enough to get out of the embargo by this time next year so what's the problem. And even if we sold them and escaped FFP's clutches, who would we be able to get as adequate replacements? No players as good as those two, that's for sure.

MA situation has nothing to do with PvH way back when. PvH didn't want to leave Forest, he was just annoyed they sold Kevin Campbell and when they wouldn't buy a new striker he quit. MA (according to a well known tabloid who have never told a lie, spread rumours or idle gossip) suggest MA has had a mardy and wants to take his ball and go home. Whether he deserves a pay rise or not is not up to us as fans. It will be nice to keep him but I imagine, because of FFP, he can't actually get any more. But this may all be BS. Him being on strike is definitely BS. He's not that childish. It may just be his agent trying to start a bidding war. It looks like he'll leave though. To be honest, I'm so glad HL is staying I couldn't care. As for this being unforgivable Keano, how old are you? You shouldn't take things so personally. This happens every single day in almost every single company. Why would you expect it not to happen at Forest?

I'd love this to happen. Especially, hoping against all hope, that HL might stay, we would have a quality midfield. But how reliable is the source?

Under FFP, I know Forest can pay £10 per hour but will a loan fee scupper the deal?

I think there's lots to be positive about. Pinillos and Ebicilio seem to be good finds, Vaughan is finally showing some of the quality for which he came to Forest, De Vries is finally getting his chance to show that he's actually a good keeper and with the wealth of the youth coming through, there's lots to be optimistic about, especially when you consider Forest can't buy anyone and are therefore a very unattractive proposition for any good football player. The fact that Forest haven't started well and the ridiculous transfer window is disturbing the team, I think we are o.k. What pains me more are the negative comments on here than Forest's current predicament. If I were a Forest player, I would be requesting a transfer. for a significant section of Forest fans who have absolutely nothing good to say about the team. It could be worst, you could be a Direby fan.

As the director of football, absolutely. He actually created the landscape to get kids into the first team. But never as manager.

Not at allegedly £32k a week. That would need Norwich to stump up more than half his wages. Never ever going to happen.

Who is being "given away"? You make it sound like a clearance sale at the local charity shop. The fact that Forest played hard ball over HL and now MA shows they are not giving players away. Why spout such pup? As for Evans and Jones, they are far superior to our defense, with the possible exception of Mancienne (though he didn't break into Chelsea so he might not make that level). Matt Mills, a regular this season is on £10k a week. Do you see the difference?

How is the tax paper paying for them blidredd? Are you believing the newspapers again? I imagine WHU made an agreement to pay x amount for use of the Olympic Stadium. If the government has to stump up the rest to maintain the ground, it's their fault for being so crap at negotiating, not WHU. It's called business, it happens all the time. But if you prefer Forest playing there, I'm sure fans would love that.
