I believe this would be a great signing. I have seen him play numerous times and is overall very good - very fast on the line, good with his legs and in the air. He is ranked 2nd best amongst the Danish goal keepers just after Kasper Schmeichel and voted best keeper in the Superleague last season.

It is Kieran Richardson from Villa. Predominantly plays left back but also can play wide left midfield or wing back. He isn't getting enough game time at Villa and wants to move on loan until the end of the season.

Kieran Richardson has featured in 8 of Villa's last 12 games as well (7 starts) . So the bit about not getting enough game time is nonsense too.
Jose Crespo is a versatile defender at Villa that has barely played but I'm just pulling names out of the air here.

Good result against a decent Girona team. Lots of good performances and positives to take from the game. Too many to list.
Concerns for me. Matty Cash injury didn't look good at all. Brereton talent is going to be wasted if he keeps getting played out wide. He definitely isn't a wing back and didn't look comfortable doing the defensive bits. Just play him down the middle!
Sorry, he may be young and a good shot stopper but Smith gives me no confidence at all overplaying in tight situations and just looks small between the sticks. IMO

Just reading the Charlton Athletic preview of our game. Worth a read.
They are in a right mess, protests after the game, interim manager they reckon no good, injuries to key players.
There man was saying the current centre half pairing are a shambles and in recent matches struggled to cope with Emile Heskey! Surely they are there for the taking?

Think Everton are just giving him a season in the championship as he isn't ready for their first team yet.They did something similar with Ross Barkley at Sheffield Wednesday. They will be hoping championship football will toughen him up a bit.He's now England under 21 so I think our chances of a permanent move are very slim at best.

Personally I thought Worrall and Darikwa were poor.
Mancienne and Lichaj should start next game.
Smith should also make way for Henderson.

Redfin,understand your point and agree but as a defender you will always look to head it clear rather than behind where you will face another dangerous ball in from a corner. Communication is key in a back 4 and a vocal keeper always helps.

Mills did his job and won the header from the cross swung in. Defend as a unit!

I'm no massive Matt Mills fan and admit Hobbs/Mancienne is my favoured partnership but I do think he gets hammered for any hint of an error and as FF79 said Darikwa and (dare I say ) Worrall, because he is young after all,have had defensive and positional nightmares costing goals but evade criticism.
Its all good having attacking full backs but surely they must be good defenders first and foremost.
