Seems we are looking at Niklas Hult can play left back or left midfield, seems to be a steady basic left man, just what we need โš“

Portland Red

1.) 15 Jan 2018 19:55:47
Get fellow countryman Pinillos back AK.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 20:28:50
Pillions is injured again.

3.) 15 Jan 2018 20:58:32

Some Forest Fans love injury prone players, it does not matter how good they are, injury prone means stay away at all costs when they are not your player.

4.) 15 Jan 2018 23:49:22
Jokic is the quick fix for me at full back?

28 Dec 2017 11:04:33
I am wondering why the NP and Sara Clapson do not question the total absence of Vellios surely questions from local papers and radio stations would get a response from the management also his strange team selections ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Portland Red

1.) 28 Dec 2017 12:02:12
Must win at weekend. Would still like to see same manager come end of season. i still believe mw is the right man given time to be rid of the dead wood he's got at his arsenal. Much need performance on sat coyr.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 14:51:48
I,ve said it and I,ve said it but been derided ,the local media always giving Nottm. Forest such an easy ride is one of the reasons we,ve been so long in the wilderness ,good journalism should be constructive and address sticky points not just kiss a--- like they do ,,Colin Fray the main culprit.

27 Dec 2017 19:48:09
Sport site saying we are interested in a striker called Mimoun Mahi, why!!! we have enough perfectly good strikers, it is CM and DMs we need once they are sorted MW can play the ball out of defence to our front men, in my opinion if he can't sort that out then it is going to be a long 4 months ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Portland Red

1.) 27 Dec 2017 20:05:44
Old news Portland,he's a been on that site for last six months.
Won't happen take no notice.

2.) 27 Dec 2017 20:26:57
Apparently there's a striker called velious who I'd be more interested in seeing in a forest shirt rather than Mahi

3.) 27 Dec 2017 20:54:05
Just reading an article slating Daryl Murphy???
Scored 7 stuck up front and isolated and still getting sh*t?
While we play Warbo' s rules we will never have an attacking threat

4.) 27 Dec 2017 20:54:42
Johnny is that the same Velious ,Greek international striker, that canโ€™t get a game in a struggling championship side, that canโ€™t buy a goal. Just saying.

5.) 27 Dec 2017 21:33:41
Yes that's the one Red 5 goals pre season then never had a sniff probably part of the work in progress pmsl

6.) 27 Dec 2017 21:45:30
I've just read a quote what MW has stated bereton Cummings and Walker could be the 20 goal a season we need has no one told him it helps if you play them up front just proves he hasn't a clue

7.) 27 Dec 2017 22:44:12
Would love to sit down with some of the 'No plan B' uttering and Warburton hating fans on here over a stat and fact based pint.

Honestly drives me crazy how some people arenโ€™t able to see that MW has done the best with the squad he has. Heโ€™s not been allowed a whole year yet and people turn on him already. He needs at least two more windows to actually have a squad capable of challenging for anywhere near the top 6.

These people shouting 'Warburton Out' are the same lot who were screaming for stability and continuity 18 months ago.

8.) 27 Dec 2017 23:35:12
Lnd red cudnt agree more, but according to some, there's a new messiah to take us forward in the form of monk.
Might be a good fit with our budget of bread and water, when the last club provided him with a kings ransom.

9.) 28 Dec 2017 00:10:46
Why did MW not address the obvious frailties defensively we all witnessed last season and he himself saw in the last 9 games?

10.) 28 Dec 2017 00:31:28
He tried to sign two goalkeepers one failed the other got injured before he kicked a ball for us.
He tried to sign a defender from Brentford who join Harry's expensive jigsaw instead.
We have a director of football who takes care of most of this, you can't blame the manager if he identifies a target and the director can't bring him in within the budget,
We are only six months into this process and was the reason managers have turned us down in the past for not having a director of football.
Don't lay all the blame at the manager and just accept it's a new regime who have set a budget and both mcparland and warbo have to work to those restraints.
It was never going to be a quick fix,you can't build without solid foundations.

11.) 28 Dec 2017 02:38:30
So they did fail to address our obvious weaknesses before the start of the season then.

12.) 28 Dec 2017 09:19:04
Yes perks, but not for the want of trying.

He has had one window and less than a year to turn around a decade or more of decline.

Still think that impatience within the fan base is a big problem at our club. I understand it to a point, but it is a problem.

Part of the crowd problem has been numbers of bums on seats. We are improving in that regard. We still need to be more positive.

The Shef Wed game was appalling, but he did try to play with our future stars. They just didnโ€™t do the business on the day. On chances created 4:1 would have been a fair score at half time.
The penalty was a penalty, but if referees were consist there would be 10 penalties a game if man handling players at corners was penalised

13.) 28 Dec 2017 09:56:22
Absolutely agree. .Six months ago the club was on its knees. rock bottom with a clown as owner.
Short memories!!!

14.) 28 Dec 2017 10:13:27
Wishey, yes he played our "future stars" as you say. Brereton has proven over the last few games that he is more effective through the centre but gets put out on the wing while Walker seemed to be doing well on the wing and he pushed him up top by himself?
Treore who is an excellent left back stays on the bench while a midfield player is at left back?
Do you not find this strange?

15.) 28 Dec 2017 10:14:45
I agree wishey they had chances and didn't take them which begs the question, where was the big man? And I don't mean santa! As some rightly point out we appear to have spent 2 million on Murphy and he can't play Saturday/Tuesday games together. If this is true a decent signing now looks a bad signing to me and we should have stuck with the kids up front and used that money to ensure we secured our Goalkeeper and defensive targets in the summer. These were the priorities as we all knew.

16.) 28 Dec 2017 11:04:02
Osbourne in defence Bereton on the wing velious on the bench and you still think he is the man for the job why can't we ever get a manager that knows his best 11 sticks with it in the same positions and keep it simple 4 4 2 rome wasn't built in a day and he has tried a new style too quickly instead of implementing it over night phase it in play to the strengths of the players he has instead of trying to make them something there not

17.) 28 Dec 2017 15:14:52
Future stars my a***. Wake up.

If the management and AK are really looking to build a strong and competitive team that can challenge for honours, i hope they realise that BEN and JOE and the other youngsters are our future, i hope they will resist offers for them and explain to the lads why it is better to play every week than bench warm, also i hope AK buys players who want to play for us and not loanies that way he can build his own team so here's looking at a bright future โš“

Portland Red

1.) 09 Jan 2018 15:36:40
AK's preparation of player and team is meticulous so I think you will find the players will want to stay and improve under his guidance.

08 Jan 2018 19:54:49
Welcome Mr Karanka, let's hope that you can get us flowing football and get us passed Hull in the next round could be a tricky one, so welcome to the mighty Forest ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

06 Jan 2018 16:27:22
Millwall 4-1Barnsley, Heckingbottom for Forest, somebody's having a laugh, do me a favour come inboard๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Portland Red

1.) 06 Jan 2018 16:39:18
Neil Harris at Millwall might be better bet than Heckingbottom, as younger manager who also won promotion and turned Millwall from free fall to looking like they will get a solid Championship finish and he knows the club as he was on Forests books for a few years!

2.) 06 Jan 2018 17:47:17
It doesnโ€™t matter. He will only be here 6 months despite what the chairman might say regarding intensive care and time!!!!!!!!!

3.) 06 Jan 2018 18:38:24
Heckingbottom or any other aspiring manager will not last long at forest.
They won't be given enough time to get a a squad and a pattern of play developed.
Experienced manager is what's called for not a gamble.
They wanted clough before warbo,So they should go back and get him.
If he won't come till the summer, then give a short term contract to an older head.
We need to get a DOF in quickly as well.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 18:46:57
The clue and the point missed with both Whattheheck and Harris is that both are in their current clubs DNA which gets their clubs punching above their weight. Very unlikely they could transfer this energy to another club?
MOM and Keane are the men if we go down that route rather than another Carlos Kickabout?

05 Jan 2018 15:09:03
Ed001 spot on, his Wiki profile has him as Derby's manager, someone is playing silly b-ggers๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Portland Red

1.) 05 Jan 2018 15:24:20
He's now been upgraded from derby to Newark town๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

02 Jan 2018 16:16:59
How long will Worrall be out with a broken nose ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Portland Red

1.) 02 Jan 2018 16:26:31
They usually play with a mask these days? I suppose it depends how bad it is. Luckily it hasn't effected his good looks.๐Ÿ˜€

2.) 02 Jan 2018 17:23:44
And that beard?? Ooh needs work!

3.) 02 Jan 2018 17:53:53
Hope Smith's ingrown toenail heals soon as well. Poor lad couldn't keep a kick in play yesterday.

4.) 02 Jan 2018 18:32:45
Hope Dowell' s eyesight improves and he actually passes to a teammate, been suffering for a few weeks now.

5.) 02 Jan 2018 18:50:22
If dowell is struggling as much as is reported is it time to give clough a run out ? Have we committed to Everton that Dowell will play every week? Would we mind if he went back and we played clough instead ?

6.) 02 Jan 2018 19:07:19
He can go back for me,too many backheels and flicks and backing out of challenges.
Some great goals at times but very ineffective for long periods.
He'll have to change if he wants to get into everton side with big Sam there.

7.) 02 Jan 2018 20:29:24
He wonโ€™t get in a bigg Sam team will he?

8.) 02 Jan 2018 21:33:31
Appreciate Dowell does sometimes give the ball away and have called for Clough to be involved for weeks but I dare say without his goals we would be near enough bottom 3. His goals have been pure quality.

Not a bad call Gazzared, 4 times at Olympiakos did well each time but sadly lost the dressing room and his defensive record in the Champions league (not wanting to lose) still i reckon Marinakis likes him, we will just have to wait and see ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Spot on Jake, disappointed we got nothing, people should shut there gobs and keep there fingers away from the keyboard and give AK a chance, i agree with Red James just be happy to be in the Championship and let's build on that. If MW can't deliver then he gets stick but until then keep your doom and gloom to yourselves โš“

Teesside gazette have put forward 3 names AK could poach from Bro, Clayton, Leadbitter and Bamford, could be useful additions to give us a bit of spine, i reckon Bamford would be up for it not sure about the other two, any thoughts Redsโš“

That will teach Wenger to disrespect us and the FA Cup by playing a B Side, but the lads attacked and defended well, just goes to show how wrong MW was with positions and tactics, hope the new manager was watching, down side is Worrall getting sent off, one happy RED ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
