Games went our way tonight still 5 points behind it could have been a lot worse feeling like we’ve been thrown a life line
Let’s get something on Saturday and then the Sheep could still catch up

Anyone knows if the West Ham right back is still on his way to us it all looked nailed on a few days ago but gone very quiet

REDFREDDIE

1.) 01 Jul 2018 17:08:03
If not let’s try for Mario Ferrnandes from CSKA Moscow. Looks a great player 😉

2.) 01 Jul 2018 17:20:12
I think it was a rumour that started in the alleged newspaper called The Sun. So it was more than likely a load of old tosh.

3.) 01 Jul 2018 17:27:56
Apparently as soon as West Ham sign the player they want the deal will happen.

4.) 01 Jul 2018 19:18:01
Which they did Ryan Fredericks from Fulham. That’s why he’s surplus to requirements in the first place

5.) 02 Jul 2018 06:28:47
I think it's because Leeds want him too so he is prob torn where to go

24 Jun 2018 10:10:31
Linked with Stuani now Girona Striker one is bound to stick soon

REDFREDDIE

1.) 24 Jun 2018 12:07:04
Is this the same guy that flopped at boro?

2.) 24 Jun 2018 15:33:38
Yes daz it sure is

3.) 24 Jun 2018 15:35:34
The same one who scored 21 goals in la liga last season?

12 Jun 2018 22:19:43
We want Hutton back not too sure of why we are letting Lichaj go and replacing with someone older and debatable if any better a little disappointed with this want do you lot think?

REDFREDDIE

1.) 12 Jun 2018 22:29:53
That i don’t think he was that impressive the last time we had him.

2.) 12 Jun 2018 22:30:19
Imo hutton is a better alround player than eric whom i like a lot but if hutton is availble go for it

3.) 12 Jun 2018 22:41:56
Too old no better than Erick.
Why don't we go for the right back Pearce had on loan
Alan hunt I think was his name. He looked good

4.) 12 Jun 2018 22:43:04
Aps1952 I would agree.Better defender than Lichaj and Darikwa.

5.) 12 Jun 2018 23:00:19
Jack Hunt rings a bell?

6.) 13 Jun 2018 09:09:26
Jack hunt was on loan with us a few years back under Pearce I think? He’s now at shef Wednesday

7.) 13 Jun 2018 13:15:11
Jack hunt was a good right back. Pearce wanted to sign him permanently but no funds.
Wednesday are apparently skint.
We should try and get him back

8.) 13 Jun 2018 16:10:57
Totally agree mate. he's definitely one that got away!!!

9.) 14 Jun 2018 09:42:13
We could always get Russel to hunt him down and bring him back??🐈🐈🐈

10.) 14 Jun 2018 11:59:41
Ayup Ff799 that's a tenuous link of ever I've seen one!😵

10 Jun 2018 20:52:21
All this speculation about who's coming in and who's going out is already exhausting and it's only early June!
I think that The Croatian player of the year is nailed on to sign his goals record looks impressive and he will be cheaper than Marriot but then again we might get him as well we do need 2 new strikers
I'm looking forward to this pre season a lot is going to happen it's going to be interesting.

REDFREDDIE

1.) 10 Jun 2018 21:53:18
Won't be instead of Marriott. Soudani is more of a right winger/ right side of a front three. He isn't an out and out striker

2.) 11 Jun 2018 14:20:34
Lincoln Red. Striker or not Soudani gets goals. If he can perform to the same level in the championship then he has to be a bargain buy and worth taking a punt on.

3.) 11 Jun 2018 15:18:18
I didn't say we wouldn't get him. I'm quite certain we will. He wants to come and has turned down two other offers. What I said is that we won't sign him instead of a striker. We will sign him plus a striker as that is not his position.

The first two signings will tell us which way next season will go we’ll have a good idea the sort of team that Martin will be trying to construct
Not been convinced with any players we have apparently been linked with

REDFREDDIE

1.) 23 Jun 2019 10:24:09
And what players would you like redfred yougsters that fans won't give time to settle in the team old experienced heads that are to old to play for us or let's keep wasting 13 million pounds on each player hoping one day they will be worth the price we paid for them lol

2.) 23 Jun 2019 10:44:54
I guess none of us would have wanted McGoldrick back last season but he helped Sheff It's to promotion. We have to trust the manager and not let our opinions cloud every signing. Experienced defenders are priceless.

3.) 23 Jun 2019 11:08:41
Hutton?
Really?. sure let's re-sign McGugan while we're at it .

4.) 23 Jun 2019 11:08:50
Skegg, Sy, you both make excellent points . It’s obvywhay signings O Neil will make and was always going to make . When most shouted yippee at the appointment did they not realise what we happen? I’m glad he’s here and will happily afford him the time to do his job. If we were going to sign an experienced right back I would have preferred Gunter but that’s just my opinion.

5.) 23 Jun 2019 11:14:09
Agree need to let the manager make what he thinks is the right signings. When some managers get it right you probably have a mix of youth, experienced players and ones that can offer something as a decent squad player. Trouble with us is we've been all over the place for years from top to bottom so it affects the team we put out on the pitch. We've had players leave who have gone on to do well at other clubs, if the foundations of the club are sound it spreads through the to the team creating a better working environment and players hopefully can excel. It seems we are getting it right off the pitch let's hope finally we can get it right on the pitch.

6.) 23 Jun 2019 11:18:29
Weird how Karanka wanted both Ameobi and Hutton

7.) 23 Jun 2019 11:33:05
Well we now know what style of football we are going to be treated with, onwards and hoofed upwards, can’t wait.

8.) 23 Jun 2019 12:25:28
We don’t have or can’t afford the players to play the other way

09 Jun 2019 11:41:11
To be honest we’ve got such a big squad I can’t remember a lot of them and a lot of them ordinary
Still think we need
A goal keeper
An inventive midfielder
A fast direct wide player who can cross the ball
And a target play that can hold the ball up and bring players into the play
And these players need to be consistent
Something we’ve not had last season
1 good performance out of 5 games isn’t good enough

REDFREDDIE

1.) 09 Jun 2019 13:17:48
All of which to be funded by the sale of Lolley and Carvalho.

2.) 09 Jun 2019 13:47:09
If Carvalho was one of the classiest players in his first season surely there’s much much more to come - good chance we could see a Prem outfit or even another Prem Outfit ;-) making a $20-$30m offer down the line - I’ll be sad to see him go to Greece - again days a lot about our intent and how we’re going to be playing if that does happen.
I still think Soudani could be a 15-20 goals a season man too - always hit the back of the net every game or so and shame we didn’t see him after the injury.
Come on Forest keep the promising players and dump the journeymen, shouldn’t we be falling over ourselves to put it in the media we have no intention of selling Jolo too? At least to push the price up if his mind is made up.
COYR - don’t let us down Martin and Roy but just as much you legend boys upstairs. you know who you are

3.) 09 Jun 2019 13:59:42
I don’t disagree regarding soudani’s potential but don’t think he played enough games to make such a definitive evaluation.

4.) 09 Jun 2019 17:46:19
You don't have potential at 31 plus.

5.) 09 Jun 2019 18:12:11
Ff, Murphy is 36, Grabban is 34, so he has the potential to have three to five good seasons.

6.) 09 Jun 2019 19:11:13
The few times I saw him he looked as if he had the potential to do well in the championship.

7.) 09 Jun 2019 19:11:16
Grabban is 31

8.) 09 Jun 2019 19:45:00
But grabban has reached his potential

9.) 09 Jun 2019 19:47:13
So he is Redtree

10.) 09 Jun 2019 20:07:18
How can you reach your potential in the Championship after only six or so games.

11.) 09 Jun 2019 21:28:21
Because he's 32 next and basically looked garbage and karanka didn't rate him either.
Never a starter and best to part company.

12.) 09 Jun 2019 21:55:56
Rather have soudani than carvahallo anyway hopefully the latter be gone soon

13.) 09 Jun 2019 21:59:09
One goal every three games, i wish all our forward players were so garbage provided they could stay clear of injuries.

14.) 10 Jun 2019 10:40:06
Soundani over carvalho?spoke like a true oneill fan.strentgh over flair

15.) 10 Jun 2019 10:45:21
How can you hope that Carvalho goes, along with Lolley he's the only creative player in the whole squad!!

One season in one of the toughest leagues in the world and he's being written of already, tell you what why don't we completely destroy the lads confidence like we did to Zach Clough.

Personally i'd like to see them both in our squad as on their day they are both good YOUNG players we have to many aging journeymen

My team to start the season.

PANTS

FIGEREDO
WORRALL
MILOSEVIC

YATES
ROBINSON
CASH
CARVALHO

CLOUGH
LOLLEY

GRABBAN

Robinson and Cash as wingbacks Yates and Carvalho centre mids with
Clough and Lolley supporting Grabban. No need to spend any money QED

16.) 10 Jun 2019 13:10:01
It would be good to see all players get a chance and be reviewed by MON. I personally can’t think of anything more suicidal than Worrall, Clough, Carvalho, cash and Yates in the starting 11. Wait a minute yes I can actually - you could add walker and Smith to it as well. Let’s hope that line up has never and would never enter his mind

17.) 10 Jun 2019 13:19:46
Don't play them unless their 35 is that that your plan then

27 May 2019 14:58:23
Don’t know what’s come over me I’m actually going to watch the match
I must be a masochist

REDFREDDIE

1.) 27 May 2019 15:48:19
Go on The Villa!!!!

23 Apr 2019 17:45:26
I agree with the list that 2star has come up with
However Clough is a strange one rated him very highly when he was at Bolton he looked like a world beater at times
Maybe back to Forest in preseason for another look at there might still be a player in him somewhere if we can find it definitely worth another go

REDFREDDIE

1.) 23 Apr 2019 19:11:55
With his contract being so long and us having no offers to get our money back - we should probably take another look at him.

2.) 23 Apr 2019 21:10:00
It might just take o Neil to have a little faith in clough and give him the confidence he needs to show what a good player is

22 Apr 2019 20:49:36
Yes Fawaz pretty sure that MON learnt something today
Back three were outstanding
Cash stayed on his feet all game at overlapping wing back Osborne played well in the same role and Calvarho was the link to the forwards
Best performance since first game against WBA let’s just except our fossils in charge might know what they are doing there might be more talent in the squad if played to their strengths then I Thought

We all live in hope 79 but you know football there’s been many a flop that’s turned into World beaters and World beaters tuned into flops
I remember a team long ago that became World beaters using cast offs old pros and misfits can’t recall their name
Let’s see what put together at the start of the season

Exactly the point I was trying to make a couple of weeks ago I don’t think that the midfield as it stands today are good enough to bring the best out of the players we have
Still think there’s some more work to be done in the midfield

Not seen enough of Burke after his few games with Forest
Looking at what he’s done since think we got a good deal
Zac Clough has shown over a few seasons that there’s a very good player in there it’s all down to pre season now CARLO who stays who goes and what sort of team MON will put together
It’s going to be interesting

I think what’s going to be our biggest task this pre season 1951 is moving on the dross
If we can’t it will certainly curtail our progress in adding to the squad and if we can’t remove around 10 players I will worry that we won’t be able to bring in the class we need
Fingers crossed

LC I agree think that Clough needs another look at when we signed him I thought it was a great signing if that player could be found again think it still would be a good signing

Doc maybe if Martin played Yacob and Colback in midfield instead of Yates and Pele Robinson at Left back Milosovic from the start
And Carvalho
We might have had a better chance

I like the optimism Doc
Wasn’t impressed with Sheffield United but we were never going to win without some one that can make a final pass
Some one that can cross a ball
Players that take a chance when it arrives
We have non of the above
