22 Jan 2019 22:01:04
Several names doing rounds who could be available
Darlow hart Westwood keepers
Maclean, hunt, Powell, bolassie
Lowe Lansbury midfielders
Vokes vydra.
Who should O'Neil go after?

Red always

1.) 22 Jan 2019 22:20:42
All of em barring Westwood, you really do need to get over this fetish of yours. you got pictures on the wall of him and a screen saver? 不不不

2.) 22 Jan 2019 22:58:30
He's more affordable than others and he's been one of best keepers in championship for years.

3.) 22 Jan 2019 23:17:17
Can't say I've heard about him lately 不不

4.) 23 Jan 2019 05:33:48
Theres a reason hes not in the Wednesday team, but its not his playing ability or injury status.

5.) 23 Jan 2019 08:23:09
He's been Wednesdays first choice for a few weeks now.

6.) 23 Jan 2019 10:02:34

20 Jan 2019 11:01:57
18 games left We going to need to win at least 10 and avoid losing all other 8. To make play offs. Mathematically it's possible
But without massive backing this window as we still need:
Keeper,
Winger,
Centre midfielder?
Forward.
Plus injured players back.
We won't do it.

Red always

1.) 20 Jan 2019 14:03:21
Realistically,72 plus points is generally the target for the last play off place. Its a tall order to say the least.Hope Martin can turn it around quickly but will probably need until next season to get the team playing as a cohesive unit. Its such a shame that again we're nearing February and face the prospect of another season fizzling out.Im still trying to be optimistic but games are getting fewer. Will be there to cheer my team on come what may however.COYRs!

2.) 21 Jan 2019 13:10:06
It will be less points this season to make the play-offs because it is so close. We are taking points off each other. The problem is we are NOT taking them off bottom half teams - as we have not been for years.

Tyler Walker would be fantastic alongside Murphy.

15 Jan 2019 00:14:37
Most fans would agree. We need the following positions brought in at the very least.
Keeper
Centre half
Winger
Forward
We will soon find out in this window if O'Neil is being backed. And what direction and style of play we can expect to see.

Red always

1.) 15 Jan 2019 05:12:38
not sure we need a winger but def keeper maybe 2 centre backs, a left back and a quick forward

2.) 15 Jan 2019 06:33:08
Left back gives central cover with Robinson. If we get another in that puts us at 5. Dawson, Heff, Toby and Fox 1 suspended, 3 injured. Fairly unlucky but any more and they need to be better than our current crop, though some would say thats easy!

As far as Im concerned a left back and a goal keeper would be worth the investment tbh.

3.) 15 Jan 2019 11:17:50
We have 2 quick forwards. We have Cummings and Walker. Appiah is a quick winger. We have got Jordan Wright as a keeper and a scandinavian lad we haven't blooded even during a central defensive injury crisis.
'
If we won't let these lads play then let's just scrap the academy.

4.) 15 Jan 2019 13:46:37
Why would we scrap the academy? Its a money making machine.

5.) 15 Jan 2019 15:07:18
The academy will cost a lot to run but Id say the 20 million from Brereton and burke has created a decent profit. Not exactly tearing things up right now are they? In fact other Morgan (who we had years of football from) are there any released or sold academy players whove had glittering careers ? I dont know the answer to that question , its a question not a statement.

6.) 15 Jan 2019 16:08:28
Sorry mate Jason Cummings is definitely not quick

13 Jan 2019 10:03:21
According to news someone called Jose anigo as joined for a month to oversee 4 transfers. A keeper centre back winger forward
Please no more unproven foreigners
Westwood for keeper
Big Wes centre half?
Lowe for winger or adomah
Vydra forward.

Red always

1.) 13 Jan 2019 11:24:15
Anigo is a French manager with a very uninspiring CV last managed in Greece.

We have a new DoF so we should not need help with transfers if he is any good unless he has been appointed to do his old job to fix the computers in the office?

2.) 13 Jan 2019 11:41:25
Report says a GK, def, mid and a winger. Aren't we full up in midfield? Why a winger we n癡d a fast strong down the middle striker.

3.) 13 Jan 2019 12:24:52
Jose Anigo hasn't been hired to oversee domestic transfers, that's for sure, unless Mr Marinakis is completely inept. It would appear that the board forced AK in to a corner and expected him to bow to their way of working, he honourable stuck to his morals and walked away, the problem is, it wouldn't appear the board expected him to make that decision so have been caught off guard scrambling for further representatives to do their dealings. Quite a turbulant time for forest but i'm hoping it's just a bump in the road and the board can redeem themselves very soon with a solid manager appointment, and some signing who come good.

4.) 13 Jan 2019 12:47:23
Gazza not a word from the chairman on anything !!!!!

5.) 13 Jan 2019 12:57:52
Gazza what I dont get is when someone employs me to do a job , i expect to have to work in the manner they want the job doing, this is usually sorted when the job is accepted, why do football managers not expect to do the same?

6.) 13 Jan 2019 13:17:59
Most managers do Stevie, you don't see many criticise the owners or walk out,his mate had a habit of critising at man Utd and Chelsea though.

7.) 13 Jan 2019 13:21:40
Big Sam till end of season

He will teach these muppets how to defend and offer him big bonus for promotion

8.) 13 Jan 2019 13:47:53
You see meaty that sort of short term contract could just be the answer, whoever the manager would be.

9.) 13 Jan 2019 14:06:28
Give big Sam a bonus for promotion?what message does that send out to the players who are doing the graft on the pitch, scoring the goals keeping clean sheets.he would have to offer all the players a big bonus as well.
Yes but his job title changed a few months into the season with someone else doing the dealings

10.) 13 Jan 2019 14:22:10
THis is why I say karanka as done the dirty on all us fans that gave him so much support when he was rumoured to be sacked, I didnt like him or his negative tactics but he was our manager so I supported him, Im fuming that hes walked away from our great club cus he couldnt be arsed to even give it a go with the dof even tho he was hired to win football matches that was it, we need a new man in by Monday to get us ready for Bristol oh n we will prob have to play 4 mids at the back lol good jobs we got about 20 of em lol

11.) 13 Jan 2019 15:43:06
Stevie - Karanka was set expectations when he joined - that was promotion in 2 and a half years. But the owners (just like previous owners) have got impatience far too soon, much to the detriment of the club. Sound familiar? Yes he's invested over 20m this season, but when 18m of that was on two players alone, you start to understand why we still do not have much depth in quality. Nowadays in the Championship, you can't throw a few mil at it and get instant success in return. In Greece you can, in Kuwait you can, but not in the Championship.

That's what these forgein owners struggle with. If marinakis had been an avid forest supporter as long as many of us, he would have been able to see that the progress the club had made since he's been in ownership had been quite rapid and that he was best to leave the formula alone and let the club keep growing with stability. Like I said in my earlier post, let's hope this is a bump in the road and not history repeating itself.

12.) 13 Jan 2019 17:21:46
Great post Gazza

13.) 13 Jan 2019 18:02:42
That seems to suit the krankie fans when you say he was given 2 years to sort the team out if I remember right the last 10 managers were given the same with a lot less money that's life and business get over it

14.) 13 Jan 2019 18:41:14
If i remember right, Warburton said the goalposts were moved during his stay with us.

15.) 13 Jan 2019 22:14:10
Is that why we started conceding more?不不不

16.) 14 Jan 2019 10:02:57
No that was Mills in defence.

People's thought
If we miss out on promotion through play offs. Which players need off loading preseason. So O'Neil can go for it next season. I'd get shut of these
1 keeper Henderson smith pants I'd keep Steele as back up and sign a quality keeper
2 janko wouldn't renew is loan
3 hefele
4 Dawson think he will retire
5 Watson legs have gone
6 bridgcutt
6 geddy too old
7 Fuentes still on books injured
8 ward passed it
9 clough not good enough
10 soudani always injured
11 arisafad can't be doing enough in training so not good enough
12 concalves loan ends
13 Murphy too old
14 walker found his level sell him
15 grant found his level sell him
16 worrell if we get a good offer sell.
17 Osbourne good offer sell
18 pele time will tell.
19 calvalho send him to olympiacos for 13m
Don't think I've missed anyone.
I'd keep rest including O'Neill recent signings I'd keep.
Then O'Neil needs to add real quality
A quality keeper
Right back
Left back
Centre half
Box to box all round midfielder
Winger with power an pace.
2 forwards one as a target man other pacey.

Bidwell is free in the summer. LB sorted.

15 Feb 2019 10:41:44
Who agrees team to face Preston
Pants
Darikwa. Benuloune milisevic robinson
Yacob
Cash. Yates. Colback. Lolley
Grabbon.
Subs Steele osbourne wagu geddy
Calvalho bonatini janko.

Red always

1.) 15 Feb 2019 12:54:39
Cash and Wague injured so doubtful, Janko will carry on at right back. Osborn will play.

31 Jan 2019 17:20:21
With the players we've been linked with so far not impressed.
Maybe our owners hope we can sneak into the playoffs. So far no better than we already have.

Red always

1.) 31 Jan 2019 17:33:42
And what do you know about the new players we have signed? Dont judge because we havent spent millions on premiership has beens and over 30 injury prone players Red Always, you might be surprised!

31 Jan 2019 13:15:46
If our owners are serious bout going up
Then they need to stop bringing in untried foreign players from Mickey Mouse leagues. Proven championship/ prem players get you out of championship.
Not kids from Portugal or forwards from Iran.
So if they serious go out and buy players such as
Vydra vokes adomah mings oxford
McLean king macdonald ect.
Not can't pronounce his name pele.

Red always

1.) 31 Jan 2019 13:26:07
It could be down to wage demands for players in the prem and championship being to high

2.) 31 Jan 2019 14:59:32
Would you honestly pay 瞿7 million for Vokes? Mings is not worth the risk. The others are all premier league players on huge salaries. From all the players mentioned I would be happy with McDonald and Vydra who would make a difference. It seems quite obvious from the news today that we are not going to spend any more money than we have to. Cheaper loans and an out of contract freebie.seems to be the best we can hope for.

3.) 31 Jan 2019 13:41:30
Reports suggest we're eyeying Vydra. now that would be amazing with Grabban up front. top 6 would virtually be assured!!! COYRS!!!

4.) 31 Jan 2019 16:02:13
You missed Westwood lol.

5.) 31 Jan 2019 16:07:16
Cannot see Vydra dropping down a league having only just got his chance in the Premiership but Nick is right although I thing Mings will turn have turned his injury corner.

26 Jan 2019 18:50:13
If we going to try to get top 6.
O'Neil needs backing.
May aswel stick with keeper
But we need another centre back
Winger
Forward
Probably be loans.
4 points off. 17 games left.
Let's go for it.

Red always

1.) 26 Jan 2019 19:04:40
Some teams both above, and below have yet to play their league game to match how many we have played.

2.) 26 Jan 2019 19:58:48
Mings vydra adomah would do.

3.) 27 Jan 2019 02:45:58
don't think we should get mings he will prob get injured 1st tackle

4.) 27 Jan 2019 11:29:59
No we will just get cum mings or cumm ings would rather have Tyrone or Danny though

I'd take O'Neil and Keane. I'm sure he will get us playing attractive football.
Some have said he's more route one. But he will be managing players who are more suited to playing it on deck.
Hope he's backed so he can add the finishing touches to squad.
Keeper
Centre half

I'm afraid if the teams above us win their games in hand. We will need a miracle to get in top 6.
In summer we need to get rid of all deadwood
Back O'Neil and Keane and go again.
But I'm still hoping we can do it.
I'd fancy us against any of top 6 in play offs home/ away.

Let them have a massive clear out in summer then back them for next season.
