Well done U Reds regulation home win against the Tractor Boys. Need to put our Preston hiccup to bed next.

20 games in and half the Pantomime Villains signed by AK are turning into Cult Heroes so by the end of the season they are all on course to be One of Our Own?

Time to change your Pants guys and buy his Winners Shirt!

1.) 02 Dec 2018 11:06:24
Pantimilon can beclme a cult hero for sure. A clown status who despite his awful failings could be part of a promotion winning team. As for the others you mention RIE I won't change my opinion on the 3 amigos. Carvalho is getting better every game but is still not worth 13.5 mil. Dias and gonclaves banh average. but on a positive note the team has bonded so well and in Lolley and colback we have prem players. Graban is doing the difficult thing easily, banging in the gifts. I was a Karanka doubter, but admit I was wrong. His determination has shone through. Maybe it eas the threat from marikinakis who knows. But he is starting to change things at home too and FF79 predicted well in that geddy would come in for Yacob and Hef for Figs. so pleasantly surprised by the unity in this team and Karanka should take a bow. Defeat is not taken lightly.

2.) 02 Dec 2018 16:09:14
Pants came off his line more yesterday and commanded his area well so looks like the issue has been adressed and he is working on his positioning.
On a separate note Grabben seems to have got over his early new club wobble and has 14 goals from 20 games. With those stats I.e. 106 minutes between goals you are looking at 32 for the season should it continue. . Just let that sink in

3.) 02 Dec 2018 16:57:59
Reddog- pants should have been working on his positioning years ago, the fact is heโ€™s not good enough and probably never will be. Iโ€™m sure heโ€™s a good bloke but he is now the weakest link in this team by a mile and could cost us promotion.I hope Iโ€™m wrong, and it looks as if i was about Darikwa, but a new keeper in the January transfer window is a must.

4.) 02 Dec 2018 17:27:45
Can't disagree Oakham but AK keeps picking him so good to see improvements were made.
As for Darikwa, he has improved but his distribution was still poor

5.) 02 Dec 2018 19:46:27
Darikwa was superb yesterday set up first goal and had a great shot and never stopped running.
His d8stribition was spot on,not sure what you watched

6.) 02 Dec 2018 21:55:13
Just getting a little concerned about clubs interested on joe lolley forest could allay our fears by saying he's not for sale if they sell him i think its a big kick in the teeth for us supporters when at lost last we could be on for something this season.

7.) 03 Dec 2018 08:18:18
Ff799 I watched the same game as you pal and saw the wayward passes that went out of play or to the opposition that could have put is in trouble.
Perhaps you were fetching your bovril or turning around trying to gain support for Warberton or slagging off AK and his tactics again?
Just a thought

8.) 03 Dec 2018 08:18:44
Lolley had an average game against Ipswich so if Premier scouts were there they wouldn't have seen much.

9.) 03 Dec 2018 10:20:20
Lol red dog,if you thought darikwa was poor, then there were about seven or eight others that were worst.
Good team performance and none played badly, especially darikwa and bear in mind that was 3 games in 8 days.
Best home performance of the season we went at them from the kick off.
He played one back pass that went astray, hardly constitutes lots of wayward passes does it.
If you drink novel then explains your problem

10.) 03 Dec 2018 10:49:37
Is your cup half full now 79 lol
AK must be good if he can convert someone who has been as negative about his appointment has you have.

11.) 03 Dec 2018 11:12:40
Nowt wrong with saying what you feel my friend,he's turned a corner for me,keep it up.
I'm not even bothered if we don't get promoted, just enjoying the recent performances,
The away ones have been good all season to be fair and I've said so.

27 Nov 2018 22:16:32
AK needs to get the age and experience of the squad up as you win nothing with young boys.

Ashley Cole is being drafted in as cover at left back to get us over the line!

Anyone biting on this rumour?

1.) 28 Nov 2018 18:34:01
Better off with "Nat" King Cole!!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

27 Nov 2018 16:47:57
Looking good for tomorrow. Forest have had an extra 24 hours recovery and Villa will need to change a winning side.

The Smith bounce to end and Forest to win 2-1. I think we will get a score on the Daws from a corner and a GrabOne winner?

1.) 27 Nov 2018 17:41:45
Grabnone wonโ€™t score not in this system under a negative manager!strikers donโ€™t score whilst playing in a karanka team.

2.) 27 Nov 2018 19:14:44
Sutton, so Grabban hasn't scored 11 times this season so far? Maybe you watch a different team from the rest of us.

3.) 27 Nov 2018 19:23:41
How do you explain the goals scored by Grabban already?

4.) 27 Nov 2018 19:53:26
Lol, sarcasm the lowest form of humour but the highest form wit.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

5.) 27 Nov 2018 21:16:39
No way has gabban scored that many!he was destined to fail under karankas tactics!

6.) 27 Nov 2018 21:58:03
Somebody's been feeding the Goat?

7.) 28 Nov 2018 19:00:14
I agree sutton. Grabbans a waste of money. AK OUT!!!!!

16 Nov 2018 21:33:46
Really pleased for Smithy getting the Barnsley gig just what he needs and Ryan Yates on loan to Hull will make him come of age for next year.

Luke Freeman being rumoured and would be a great addition to our midfield passing game and with an eye for goal.

1.) 17 Nov 2018 09:49:49
I'm especially pleased for Smithy. If he could improve his distribution and saving crosses, he would be our second in line in my opinion.

2.) 17 Nov 2018 12:09:45
Smith , will be put in the shop window, same as walker, grant, lacovitti and Brereton he will fall short of the standard needed if we want to be top ten rather than bottom six. Cash defo good enough, Worrall most likely, Yates - not seen enough of him so I canโ€™t comment, the rest of that crop arenโ€™t good enough. If they were theyโ€™d be playing now.

Time to look to the next crop instead now - Appiah, Gomis etc.

3.) 17 Nov 2018 19:04:38
Pants falls even shorter of the standard required,he's the worst I've ever seen at this football club, coming for crosses is totally alien to him and he thinks everyone is as tall as him with his distribution when he finally gets round to kicking the ball, it goes over there heads and out of play.
Crap goalkeeper

4.) 17 Nov 2018 22:04:59
On the face of it, right now, yes.

5.) 18 Nov 2018 14:05:09
I love it when he chucks the ball way over ppl's heads and into touch. He is a lump and the defence is always going to be fragils with him behind them๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

6.) 19 Nov 2018 11:36:02
Fragile enough for 4 clean sheets in our last 6 league games, with only three conceded? Dreadful.

Fans have short memories.

7.) 19 Nov 2018 12:10:45
That's more down to having the four best defenders at the club in front of him, with Dawson marshalling and organising them,if fox hadn't got injured that wouldn't have happened.

8.) 19 Nov 2018 12:54:58
So Pants deserves no credit for our current defensive performances? Interesting.

9.) 19 Nov 2018 21:17:47
No wonky as that would go against ffโ€™s opinion.if we concede itโ€™s pants fault if we donโ€™t concede the defence kept them out.he seems to like some and not like others but wonโ€™t give them a chance.same as the manager,heโ€™s stuck on his first opinion on him and it wonโ€™t chnage.

10.) 19 Nov 2018 21:41:27
Did you give warbo a chance Sutton?
Pot kettle

14 Nov 2018 09:35:46
The next 6 games are our opportunity to really kick on and become automatic promotion contenders.

We should be targeting a minimum of 14 points and an unbeaten run as we play the struggling teams and 2 local derby away games where we are more than capable of getting a result and knocking the Chelski boys off their perches!

It's usually Hull and Preston where we struggle but now we have sorted out our defence there is no excuse for not rolling them over this time around

Onward and Upward

1.) 15 Nov 2018 00:30:11
We always struggle against the bottom team. We have for at least 15 years. Luckily we do well against the top 6.

05 Dec 2018 18:14:28
Anyone got any free parking tips for The Flat Pack Stadium visit as there seems to be mainly 2 hour stays around the ground?

1.) 05 Dec 2018 18:34:36
Is the train an option for you?
Stadium almost on the doorstep of the station.

2.) 05 Dec 2018 18:37:42
Yes mate,as long as we don't "park" the bus!!! Lol!!

3.) 05 Dec 2018 19:33:02
Get a lift with your mate karanka red ๐Ÿ˜

4.) 05 Dec 2018 19:52:29
A least we know what the direby fans will be riding to get there!

5.) 05 Dec 2018 20:34:26
That's 2 hours to long ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
You could come off at junction 25 M1 and park at train station in long eaton and get a train return for ยฃ4.70.

6.) 05 Dec 2018 21:16:40
Ps red, hope that journey is not too "pants" for you?๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž

7.) 05 Dec 2018 22:43:20
Thanks for the train suggestion but I'll be driving. Might thumb a lift with AK as Ill be sat behind him. Could not believe they cannot sell out a stadium?
Making a special trip in the lucky red away trousers just to ensure Lampoo is put in his box.
I fancy a 4-1 win

8.) 06 Dec 2018 22:42:02
There is another way of free parking, take some bubble wrap with you or a screw driver,on entry it takes your number plate, cover it it up on exit or remove it on exit, then stop and take the wrap off or put plate back,
Works for me๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

01 Dec 2018 15:30:34
A 5-5 draw and one of the most entertaining games most Forest fans would have ever seen and yet the insecurity complexes are popping out all over the forum once again. Abraham Maslow and Alfred Adler could have completed their life's work studying Forest fans!

We have a squad who man for man can complete with any other player in this league with the 2 best defensive midfielders to provide a platform for us to play and yet fans are fretting over whether Hef or Ossie get a gig?

Next up Ipswich who in all probability will try and squeeze the life out the game and so a 1-0 victory is a good result on the way to our season goal.

No doubt the usual suspects will still be doing their Statler and Waldorf impressions from the box seats "I'm a long- standing season ticket holder and entitled to my opinion" bleat. However, they really do need to stop the incessant nit picking of individuals as this negativity will come back to bite us as we get towards the business end of the season especially at home which is in stark contrast with the magnificent away support.

Fan insecurity is transmitted to individuals and undermines confidence on the pitch.

The only cure for insecurity is to keep the faith in our team and leader who thankfully are made of much sterner stuff this season!

Now is the time for Foremoaner's to stop the negativity, enjoy the roller coaster ride, keep the faith and get with the programme not undermine it!

Onward and Upward. We are going up!

COYR's๐Ÿค ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ†.

1.) 01 Dec 2018 15:45:08
Brilliant 2-0!!!

29 Nov 2018 09:36:12
Getting really fed up with the lack of respect to our club from other clubs PR and Marketing departments.

Both Leeds and now Villa now display and print Notts Forest on match day. This is typical of the unprofessional snowflake generation in the media.

They need to be taught a lesson when they come to the City Ground to make the point.

Scoreboard and match programme displayed as Visitors. Squad numbers only no names.

They do not exist until they show Nottingham Forest RESPECT!

1.) 29 Nov 2018 11:28:48
They do it on purpose to wind us up.
Seems it worked.

2.) 29 Nov 2018 11:33:55
ALSO watched sky sports highlights and all they spoke about was Abraham n Villa hardly nothing about forest yet if the ref has only gave a yellow instead of a red ( so not a red ) we would of probably won the game

3.) 29 Nov 2018 11:53:48
Arran it was a red mate,if there was any doubt we'd appeal it.
You can't go in like that nowdays, figs will learn from it.
The only reason we didn't win was our defence, bolasie destroyed Robinson first half and pants gave villa all the confidence in the world by spilling the ball for the second, individual errors and not defending as a team, not the ref was our downfall

4.) 29 Nov 2018 12:14:11
Spot on.

5.) 29 Nov 2018 12:53:34
Standard yellow card.Genuine attempt for the ball,no raised studs, just a late tackle. If reds at home he stays on the pitch.

6.) 29 Nov 2018 13:06:40
It's a stupid and unesassary foul, the days are gone when you can go in hard and clear the player out,if you see a challenge like that from an Ipswich player you'll be up on your feet wanting a red and rightly so.
Like I said we can appeal it,but we won't because we'd lose the appeal

7.) 29 Nov 2018 13:26:43
Itโ€™s amazing to me ,refs seem quick to punish us for any misdemeanours ,yet a dirty sheep bites someone and only gets booked, plus as I said in another post am sick and tired of seeing jack grealish rolling about on the ground looking for free kicks

8.) 29 Nov 2018 14:20:58
Was never a red but I got told he was on a yellow anyway so would of still been sent off n maybe the ref just missed giving him the 2nd yellow, if u getting sent off for that every game will have a red

9.) 29 Nov 2018 18:47:39
I thought the Ref gave more decisions in our favour last night, the brummies around me were going loopy about quite a few decisions and I couldnโ€™t argue.

28 Nov 2018 23:06:37
Tried the live stream on Forest Iplayer first time. What a joke the sky video is miles ahead of the Radio Nottingham commentary and completely ruined the goal action.

The tech boys need to sort out the sync for ยฃ10 a pop or better still get all the games on Now TV? which is much better value and quality although Steve Hodge was a laugh tonight! .

1.) 29 Nov 2018 00:06:23
I always pause sky sports so Jeff stelling and his crew area few minutes behind. Happened to me forest had scored on sky before they had on the radio meaning your not listening to live football. Maybe a few complaints wudnt go amiss still cracking game.

2.) 29 Nov 2018 01:59:46
I didn't renew mine. same thing happened to me mate

28 Nov 2018 22:41:52
Well Victor Meldrew were you entertained by AK's Red and White Army?

His half time team talk at Hull was to ask Forest to be more ambitious offensively!

Job Done!

Make no mistake we are going up!

Onward and Upward

1.) 28 Nov 2018 22:57:23
Anyone would enjoy it,especially a neutral fan.
Only disappointing thing was pants again,2 nil up and a statue for the first and did his usual party peice for the second, the defence needs a more confident keeper behind them, when you go 2 nil up so early all you have to do is defend properly and then hit them on the break.
Like I said an attacking masterclass and a defensive horror show, but thoroughly entertaining.

2.) 28 Nov 2018 22:57:32
Red calm down pal. weโ€™ve just let 5 in by the way!!!

Great game though

3.) 29 Nov 2018 00:26:00
It wasn't just a game it was the Russian Vs rocky and we stood toe to toe with them all over the pitch and grabban with the knock out punch in the last round great to see it's all about motivation and beleif and spirit and tonight it was all there we need the same against Ipswich still think that will be a tough game there finding the net just lately so don't ease off because you think there the underdogs happy days you reds.

4.) 29 Nov 2018 09:35:49
No need to calm down. This team has the character and quality to get promotion which is something not seen since OBE and the Collymore years!

Onward and Upward

5.) 29 Nov 2018 10:34:14
Not many promoted teams let 5 in after being 2 up my friend!!!!!

I got a slap asking the lady in the bakers if she could show me her baps? Got another one for correcting myself and asking why she had a cob on? Then asked for a morning roll and her hubby got really angry so bang went my chance of a really good muffin and I had to scuffler out the shop because it was all getting very barmy. Went home without my tea cake shouting oggie oggie, more more more!

Watson is a solid pro albeit his legs have gone chasing high tempo in midfield. He had a very good game at Boro and would be a good leader playing the ball out from centre back if AK decides to deploy him there in the Fox role. I fancy him over Geddie in this role, but the chances are it will be Robbo and Ossie against PNE.

Thank heavens you are not the manager.
You moan about chop and change and then moan when the manager shows loyalty to experienced pro's within his squad.
You write off players after a couple of games who given time have turned their game around and have driven the team forward.

It's called team building and as a collective they are getting better.

Listen to what AK says in his briefings. He is not stubborn but loyal to those that move the team forward.

Watson dug us out a hole last year. AK recruited more centre midfielders knowing he knew he needed to upgrade and got Yacoub who needed to get match fit and is now first choice. At the time everyone was moaning about all the midfielders he was signing?

AK always says that if better players are available he will try and sign them. We were associated with many keepers in the summer but he did not get one across the line. The deal he did late was the one he knew had performed last year and so he showed loyalty and signed Pants to build a team.

AK can see the obvious and will upgrade any position if he can get someone better. so he is not bloody minded just loyal to those who have contributed but ruthless if he has the opportunity to bring in someone better.

In the meantime just get behind all the players for the benefit of the team. We missed Ronnow in the summer but we are far more an attractive proposition for a top keeper in Jan?

Rutland you must have mystic powers?

Karim has only had a couple of cameo's and already you have made your judgement on his abilities against a striker who in this league has more winning T shirts than you can wash?

Murphy is the go to guy for getting a key goal in any game. Karim looks like he will be a good addition but when you are chasing the game a fit Murphy all day long?

I have a new game for your insecure Forest Fans!
Let's pick on Alan Hardy instead of one of our players and in particular the goalkeeper in the most important position in the team?
Pants might not be the best keeper we have had but he with the team are where we all would hope to be at this stage so stop getting on his back and support the team. ALL OF THEM!

You cannot be serious!

This is the same Leeds squad as last year and there is not player who is better than any of ours. The owner has no money and has spent the budget on a top coach who is getting them to over perform but they have no chance of keeping it going for 46 games.

Other than Bamford none of them have any Premiership or European experience so unless Bielsa is OBE in disguise they like Frank Lampoo's Sheep Dip they will crash and burn at the run in!
