Wooly Bully is the Bolton signature song today having seen the Forest team sheet. Looks like we are in for a good roughing up given the size of the Bolton team?

Passing game and dancing on ice will have to be at least an 8 out of 10 for the boys to win?

1.) 09 Dec 2017 14:58:41
It'll be 10 out of 10.
No worries.
Unlike the trains one coach from LE to Notts on a match day and shoppers plus a strike.
But it's 3 points in the bag,No worries

2.) 09 Dec 2017 15:56:49
10/10 so far?

3.) 09 Dec 2017 16:58:00
If that’s a 10/10 god help us when we put out 9 or 8.

4.) 09 Dec 2017 17:13:22
We won Sutton, ground out a result for a change, are you sure yours red?

5.) 09 Dec 2017 17:24:30
Well got away with 7 out of 10 for the win? Team showed what they can do when they turn teams but to take the pressure off our fragile defence we need to get more pace supporting Murphy.
Maybe if he tweaked the system the margins would not be so fine?

6.) 09 Dec 2017 18:27:35
Nothing to do with pace,Osborn in particular had a stinker, total lightweight and Dowell wasn't far behind, time to give those two a rest, the two just not doing it,can't tackle and not creating.
Need more than that in the engine room.

7.) 09 Dec 2017 19:14:23
If scoring 3 goals doesn't take the pressure off of the defence I don't know what will

8.) 09 Dec 2017 19:48:31
We won, which is good. Terrible performance though. 1-0 up after 3 minutes. We should've put them to bed but we let them back into the game. Don't think we we're the better side at all. Woeful is a word I'd use for our performance. Lucky in the end.

9.) 10 Dec 2017 09:26:18
Fact is we still have to score three to ensure we win.

10.) 10 Dec 2017 11:16:28

At least we can score 3, and did.

There is a lot of work to do to get the team to stop shipping goals but at least we are able to create chances.

11.) 10 Dec 2017 20:15:19
Dress it up all you like but we were carp!

05 Dec 2017 19:16:04
Liam Lindsay on the radar as a long term centre half replacement for the oldies provided we can get seasoned Championship defender in first?

1.) 05 Dec 2017 19:48:31
Redinexile where have you seen that?

Yes you are right we need a seasoned defender, and he needs to be vocal, both in urging on those around him, and giving them what for when needed.

03 Dec 2017 21:27:59
My money is on the next goalkeeper being David Marshall from Hull City.

Just the sort of experienced and inspiring keeper we need to marshal our defence?

1.) 03 Dec 2017 23:47:57
Or more appropriately for our manager the bread man what about Mark Bunn or Bread Bin Van Der Sar?

2.) 04 Dec 2017 07:33:08
Nice one Fred!!! Or how about "Bread" Friedal!!!

3.) 04 Dec 2017 16:01:42
Who is your money for our next Manager ?

4.) 04 Dec 2017 16:34:05
There is no manager vacancy so there is no point in mindless speculation?

5.) 04 Dec 2017 17:40:59
Federici will be the new keeper.

6.) 04 Dec 2017 20:59:16
Jake is a sheep fan.

14 Nov 2017 20:17:49
Direby rubbish Christie and Hendrick undoing all Murphy, O'Neil and Keane's hard work?

1.) 14 Nov 2017 21:23:06
Next derby match McKay needs to play out wide left, press Christie and cut inside as the bloke only uses his left peg to stand on.
Murphy needs to get on the back post against him as he cannot head a ball over his head to save his life.
He is the weakest link goodbye!

2.) 14 Nov 2017 21:30:06
Ireland's limitations exposed red,to the full,It's all right grinding out and away result, but no good if you can't force the issue, quite simply they havn't got enough class players

3.) 14 Nov 2017 21:38:07
Talking limitations, think Vardys were shown tonight, not good enough at this level

4.) 14 Nov 2017 22:36:23
Only thing is red Cyrus Christie went to Boro in the summer

5.) 15 Nov 2017 11:43:30
Once a ram always a ram. Both of them are dire!

6.) 15 Nov 2017 19:27:51
Except Archie,Ohare and McGovern?
What about Ward? On that subject?

7.) 16 Nov 2017 12:09:41
Vardy is a good player but Rashford is not the one to hold the ball up and feed him, whereas Kane understand that and can do it. Also why is a big lad like Rashford taking all the free kicks? Loony idea.

8.) 16 Nov 2017 15:08:10
Cyrus Christie?? Better off with "Tony" Christie!! 🎶🎶🎶

9.) 16 Nov 2017 22:00:03
Better off with Agatha Chistie, she can tell some stories

10.) 16 Nov 2017 22:13:07
Vardys is a good player, but not international class,he plays on the break, can't lead the line like Kane.

10 Nov 2017 21:03:15
No dog walking yet at half time!
I hope Warbo has made everyone come in to watch how the Germans play football, especially out of possession. They always have 5 men around the opposition man with the ball and closing off dangerous areas of the pitch.

If Forest had more pace up front then playing over the top with two up front we would be awesome when under pressure at the back?

Hopefully Warbo will get them playing the same way?

Congratulations to Mark Warburton on having the best Forest manager stats since OBE at 45.45 win %

It's little wonder that the Fawaz and Billy No Brains fan club and usual Formoaners are keeping their heads down.

They'll all be hiding behind their sofas fretting our club might actually be moving forward so they can no-longer harp on about the past?

1.) 10 Dec 2017 20:37:05
Great stats red onwards And upwards looking forward to. The transfer window

2.) 10 Dec 2017 20:46:08
I'll second that red,

3.) 10 Dec 2017 22:01:32
Hahaha. What is it with posters on here using selective stats?
It seems they're attempting to paper over the cracks somewhat.
Not the best Forest manager stats since the great Clough but up there with win percentage I'll give you that.
Look at his overall stats and they don't stand up so well.
No manager can be considered successful losing more than he wins.
I'm happy where we are for now but let's not for one moment try and make it something it isn't!

4.) 10 Dec 2017 22:44:56
Thing is Fred you have to give the cracks time to heal, he's inherited a shambles of a football club,a mess from top to bottom.
Players signed on a whim by our previous owner, how many of those players would you have signed?
Well he's got them and has to try and get a tune out of them,Well good luck with that, the previous managers havn't managed it.
You can't judge him yet,the cracks are deep and healing process will take time

5.) 11 Dec 2017 00:27:26

Red Fred has a point they are selective stats, but although he says they are papering over the cracks he knows they are not trying to big up the team, or manager but there to be positive.

He just wanted to have a bit of banter to see what happened.

6.) 11 Dec 2017 17:56:59
Red Fred

The stat is not selective its a plain matter of fact. I'm not saying its a good or a bad stat or whether Warbo is successful. However, it does put into context some of the utter rubbish and over rated managers Forest have had in the past?

Time will tell whether he is on the right lines and whether the stat goes up or down? So for now give the man some credit compared to what's gone on before?

7.) 11 Dec 2017 20:05:56
Statistics don’t mean anything.
Points and wins count.
Let’s wait until the season is over before throwing around stats and how great the Warburton is.

8.) 11 Dec 2017 20:13:11
Fair enough Redinexile.
Too many defeats thrown in for now though which doesn't make his record much better than Montanier's or Freedman's at the moment.

9.) 11 Dec 2017 21:45:11
On the positive side though 22 points will be achieved and more, finish mid table, get rid of Hobbs, fox,Mills,Ward .all sick notes who can't be relied on and contracts up.
Vaughan and Cohen as Well, although I hope we can find a role for Cohen at youth level.
Bring in fresh younger talent and the likes of Brereton, cash and Worrall have a season under their belt.
McKay and Cummins will be fitter and know what is required at this level.
Grant,Yeats,Lacovitti,Ariyibi will have had a full season playing regularily.
Lots of positives to look forward to next season for me.

09 Dec 2017 11:06:33
Bolton today is a pivotal game for Warbo. It should be a regulation 3 pointer and 3 goals. However if the Warbo Way is found out again by Bolton today then he is going to have to have a radical rethink on how he sets the team up with just one up front?

Today is a perfect opportunity to play Clough up with Murphy in the roll he played for Bolton and two proper wide players.

Hopefully a tactical switch and 3 good points rather than providing ammo for the Formoaner's and the flak he got at Rangers?

1.) 09 Dec 2017 12:54:40
Good post Redinexile, crucial game and I'm glad you agree that we should go attack minded with support for Murphy and a bit of pace out wide. When you have pace like Carayol,McKay,Walker and Ward it's just daft not to deploy it against a team 4th from bottom at home! Just setting out, I await the team selection with interest!

07 Dec 2017 20:44:09
As we are looking far and wide for talent how about recruiting Joe Worrall's long term centre back dream partner, Toby Sibbick from Wimbledon?

Although only 18 he's 6'4" tall is blessed with amazing pace, good header, reads and can play the ball out well at such a young age. Just the qualities missing from our back line.

May have to wait to get rid of the 3 veterans in the summer before stealing him off Arsenal?

1.) 07 Dec 2017 21:49:55
There you go 2tone, Redinexile has sorted the right player for us?

04 Dec 2017 16:50:00
A reminder to ALL Forest Fans and especially the FORMOANERS of a little perspective on where we are and what it takes to be an NFFC FAN!

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on! '

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a FAN my son!

With apologies to R. Kipling.

Great theory FF79 so long as Mills is not starting? If so then giving away silly free kicks is a given and Mr Flint will prevail!

We never played 3 or 4 lightweights in the same team. 5 of the ones you mention knew how and when to put their foot in. The ones we have cannot tackle to save their lives!

You cannot pick players we do not have in the squad!!?
My issue is playing Vaughan McKay and Osborn together as they get steamrollered. Bridcutt has added some bite although not the tallest and Wardy is in the same mould!

We need Jamie Ward in the midfield when we need to dig in as he is always the first to put his foot him and raise the tempo when required!

I had a better view of that great game from standing on the floodlight pylon at the Bridgford Road End!

Trev, I got a similar call from some twat called Ford from the Welsh FA for the manager's job. I had to explain to him why a Forest fan would never want a job herding Ovis aries fornicators even if the do play in red?

We are all citizens of the world and our DNA ancestry can be traced back to the early civilizations so what on earth are you all arguing about?

The world would be a better place if everyone claimed Jerusalem as their capital and insisted their country of citizenship opened an embassy there!

At least that way no-one should be offended as a citizen of the world melting pot?

Grey and Red

Open your curtains and look into the clear sky.

The stars are as aligned as Pato and Flint are to score and I do not see any shooting stars landing on them at Ashton Gate

Forest need 3 to get a result is as nailed on as England losing their last 6 wickets for a 400 odd total and the Aussies scoring 550 ish to wrap up the series. My treble is no draws in the Premiership this weekend?

Ryan Giggs ticks all the right boxes for getting the Welsh job for getting on with the Wales FA:

1. Commitment - Only played for Wales when Fergie let him out.

2. Loyalty - Cultivates a happy family/team environment, then shafts those closest.

3. Management - 4 matches wearing a nice suit and sitting quietly on the bench. A PR dream!

4. Football Experience - 963 matches having his bottom wiped and every need taken care of by others to get him on the pitch.Just the empathy he needs for dealing with the majority of the Welsh squad.

5. Personality - Has anyone ever heard him say anything meaningful?

This appointment should get them off any breach of race relations law, but might fall foul of the Sale of Goods Act?
