Lads i love the feel good factor but I said last week this is a bad appointment. his football is dire, barely any room for attacking football, long ball, and as for signings, McLean is not a good signing, I'm trying to feel positive but see no signs of it. it will be 4-4-2 long ball up to front man and unfortunately we are looking at a mid table finish.

New on here lads, living in Ireland last ten years, when the two lads were dismissed from the national post the whole country was delighted there football was dire and turgid. No imagination and constantly falling out with players. I think this will turn out to be another poor appointment for us, I hope I'm wrong .

International football totally different and being honest how many players do Ireland have that are international quality?
Virtually none and that's going to be tough for McCarthy and anyone else.
You can't play attractive football at that level with the players Ireland have.
