I think the last two or three home games have proven just how poor the Scottish Leagues really are. i'm afraid Cummings and McKay are nowhere near Championship standard. I hope we don't buy anymore Scottish players I the coming transfer window.

Mckay is not championship standard? Are you mad son?

2.) 31 Dec 2017 11:26:29
McKay is top of the Championship assists chart. What the hell are you taking! LOOOOOOL

It's being reported that NFFC are set to announce the signing of Barrie McKay from Rangers. Connor Mahoney has signed for Bournemouth.

Deal agreed, just waiting for his medical. Fee agreed at 500k. Looks like another thrifty bit of business. let's just hope he and Cummings can hit the ground running in the Championship.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 12:43:52
Tavanier will be next, Mckay could be a snip at that fee,

3.) 04 Jul 2017 12:47:46
I'm more pleased we are signing him than mahoney, more experience and a better eye for goal by the look of it.

I was disappointed today to see Pantilimon ignoring the mascots at today's game. The two kids, probably the best day of their young lives, went to the penalty spot in the pre game warm up to take a penalty against their potential idol and what did Pantilimon do. He ignored them and went to the edge of his penalty area until the two kids went to the halfway line to have their photo taken and then he went onto his goal line.

The parents of these kids pay a lot of money for the 'privilege' of the kids to be a mascot and meet their hero'. The least Pantilimon could do is acknowledge the kids. He needs to learn from Danny Fox, when he is playing. He is great with the mascots and makes a bit of a fuss of the kids.
Well done Danny. Learn Pantilimon.

not learn he needs to be 1) dropped immediately and 2) sold in January, he's been terrible all season and that awful just ignoring them kids whos dream it would of been to kick a ball into the goal, SHOCKING!

Personally I’m quite a big critic when things go wrong , this is mainly down to frustaration and always finding defeat difficult to deal with in life generally and as a red.

But despite those floors I can’t believe after a fluky victory for Preston so much negativity floods back on here after some great performances of late and some football yesterday that took Preston apart over anad over - who by the way came to play the Neil Warnock way.

Talk about waiting suited and booted for the first slip up , dear me,

All that’s missing is the final ball, sometimes a little more confidence and having a shot rather than over playing it.

3.) 09 Dec 2018 10:54:00
Frustration which leads to blame game.

4.) 09 Dec 2018 11:28:06
I guess he was worried that they would score the penalty, How would he prepare for that? I’ll let them score ⚽️ But I couldn’t save it if I wanted too? 😱

5.) 09 Dec 2018 11:52:48
You read my mind 2tone lol don't upset perks though he's a big pants fan

6.) 09 Dec 2018 13:50:13
In life Skeg I've always found encouragement gains more result than criticism. I'm sorry if sticking up for someone who wears our shirt offends you.

7.) 09 Dec 2018 14:36:32
That's funny perks so you've always had good things to say about players and (managers) at forest then pot and kettle comes to mind lol. in my opinion the goalkeeper is our weakest link if we're to move forward he goes it's that simple he's been around the block enough and never done any good and never likely to probably be ok at Wycombe. 😁😂🤣

8.) 09 Dec 2018 16:08:18
Perks that man wearing that shirt has chosen to limit his interaction with Nottingham Forest mascots. Take the shirt from him I say!

I’m not even convinced by Cash either. For me, he is not a winger/right sided player - he is a central midfield player probably playing at the top of the diamond. Worrall needs a rest. He is starting to look like the rabbit in the headlights when he gets the ball at his feet and poor Manciene needs to get away from football for a while, his confidence is in the floor. Dowell is showing what he is, a naive young footballer trying to learn his trade in a very tough environment, and he to panics when pressured. Osborne, for all his energy also panics under pressure and gives the ball away too cheaply.
I can’t wait to see the team play with all the new signings who all have lots of experience which will help us get to the 55 points we will need for safety.

Could the imminent signing be the Algerian centre forward?

Deal complete. It will take a few days for Companies House to update the filing records.

no22, you are stark raving bonkers. You have accused Fawaz of stealing the Burke money. I think you may get a law suit in the post very soon for saying that. The Burke money will be shown in the next set of accounts. Fawaz has not borrowed money from any bank. If he had it would be clear in the accounts, it is not.
You are crackers.

If he is on "gardening leave" it just means Cardiff will continue to pay him but he does not have to work for his wages. If he wanted to start another job, all he needs to do is resign from Cardiff. Cardiff will gain, they don't have to pay him anymore and for Malkay he would have to give up any remaining bonus's etc but if Forest agree to pay the same wages and/or bonuses as Cardiff are paying and therefore Malkay is no worse off then he would be at liberty to sign for Forest.

Skipper27

{Ed034's Note - not that easy. What money is he in there compared to what we offer him? He would also have had bonuses he could have hit and if he thinks he's been unfairly dismissed, he will want these.
If Cardiff think his sacking was deserved, they'll want to pay him as little as possible

The pitch is regularly replaced, the last time about two years ago. The subsoil was replaced and new 'woven' turf laid.

BRazil has been asked by Fawaz to begin the recruitment planning for the summer. To allow him to concentrate on the first team it makes perfect sence to appoint MacParland to take that pressure off. Brazil identifies the targets and MacParland starts the process of contacting likely fathers.

Redexile, I think you've got the wrong MacParland. The person now at Forest is Frank MacParland, not Charlie!
