Jez Moxey steps down as Norwich CEO, could he be the CEO Fawaz has promised.

Steve70

1.) 02 Feb 2017 22:50:54
Hope not. He took Wolves from Prem to League one in successive seasons. The fans at Wolves hated him.

2.) 03 Feb 2017 02:52:19
And I thought things couldn't get any worse. Terrible track record. Please no!

3.) 03 Feb 2017 11:35:05
Very smart comment NorthNotts, or is it your general hate on for everything lol. Thought it was players and coaches, and owner support, that enable teams to be crap enough to be relegated. He, and likely the coaches, had to work with what they had. Who's fault is that? It's highly unlikely he personally took them down several divisions, and Norwich haven't done Wolves level bad.

4.) 03 Feb 2017 13:36:08
Being endorsed by Stanley Victor Collymore :)

5.) 03 Feb 2017 14:31:02
Kiss of Death then.

6.) 03 Feb 2017 14:43:32
Looks like he ran Wolves professionally in his 16 years there and the fans hatred of him was because he kept the club within there budgets to there means. If only he had been found 4 and a half years ago.

7.) 03 Feb 2017 14:48:57
Hey Skeggs! Where's your take on the past week mate?

23 May 2016 19:37:00
First time posting, a friend of mine played in a charity game yesterday at Chesterfield FC, Neil Warnock told Jack Lester he will not be taking the Forest job because he wouldn't be able to pick the team.

Steve70

1.) 23 May 2016 21:00:15
Did the conversation go like this.

Fawaz: Sit down Neil, Would you manage my team of players on a nice contract?

Neal: Let me think.

Fawaz: Well Neal, just turn up give um a quick jog round, play 5 a side for a bit. And I will even pick the team for you. Easy money Neal, nice contract and the new invester as agreed this to already as well. He's well impressed with my team selections on Fifa.

Neal: You mean you'd pay me but do my job for me, I'd be the fall guy on a good screw and get a nice payoff for my retirement?

Fawaz: yeah that's right.

Neal: No,

2.) 23 May 2016 21:36:46
Did he say if Fawaz would only get to choose three players per game once the investment deal went through?

3.) 23 May 2016 21:59:55
Will you give it a rest. Fawaz does not, has not, never will pick the team. If you put £60m into a football club and was paying your manager £750,000 per year would you not, like all supporters - including you - have a view on who should and shouldn't play. He is entitled to an opinion.

4.) 23 May 2016 22:08:06
Lol. are you saying the new owner/ investor will be picking the team then? maybe they will share it out between the season ticket holders over the next year, maybe we all get to send a list in of players we would like and the new owner will go and get the top 5 most popular.

5.) 23 May 2016 22:09:14
Took the words out of my mouth skipper!

6.) 24 May 2016 05:36:26
My post was sarcasm to the original poster by the way.
As if Fawaz picks the team.
For flips sake lay of the bloke that saved our club. Got us Assombalonga and Antonio and then had a embargo slapped on his team.
Get behind our club .

7.) 24 May 2016 09:57:33
You don't know if Fawaz picks the team or not!

You have no idea and there is plenty of evidence to suggest he has a very large influence.

He may not put names on paper he certainly makes his opinion known and expects to be listened to.

You have no idea what's going on so should keep such assumptions to yourself.

8.) 24 May 2016 10:08:48
I find this all rather amusing as most people on this forum spend time each week picking the team! Does the manager listen though?

Every manager has to do a regular performance review to the board and owner and this will include justifying his team selections.

If we had a fit £10m striker sat on the bench everyone would want to know why he was not in the team?

9.) 24 May 2016 11:55:19
And you also have no idea no22 so how can you tell us what's what?

10.) 24 May 2016 12:18:51
lol Up the Forest, he (22) is always ramming his assumptions down peoples throats so he should take on his own advice for sure:)

How did the numbers go again:)

11.) 24 May 2016 12:35:40
There's a lot more evidence to suggest he doesn't pick the teams.

12.) 24 May 2016 12:43:09
How do you know no 22? Big diffence between "evidence" and "suggests"like another posts have said "give it a rest". and "lay off the guy! ". 😠😠😠.

13.) 24 May 2016 12:55:25
Oh please Ginger Kid!? Not that all over again! Lol! 😂😂😂.

14.) 24 May 2016 15:35:53
Bring back Abdoun, he definatly picked him!
CARLO.

15.) 24 May 2016 16:00:05
Ok, just one last time Rogie.

If Fawaz has two apples and then he borrows 3 pickles, then the train is travelling east at 33mph:)

{Ed033's Note - erm, 42

16.) 24 May 2016 16:14:35
What's the problem no.22? Thought this was a rumour and opinion site?

{Ed033's Note - No. 6 wants to escape.

17.) 24 May 2016 17:35:24
I swear my dad met Fawaz on a train last season and they spoke about Forest and Fawaz asked who he would start out of Wilson and Hobbs with Mills and he said he thought Hobbs was better, and the next week Hobbs was playing haha! Just a coincidence I guess ;)

18.) 24 May 2016 18:00:19
That's were I went wrong Ginger Kid! I had the train traveling west! "Doh! "
😂😂😂.

When will PM stop rotating players, we have looked a half decent side who could cause most teams problems, then we get 4,5 or 6 changes, can't help but think a settled side would benefit everyone.
Thoughts on this, does everyone else feel the same?

Steve70

1.) 18 Sep 2016 19:08:30
Yes, too many changes doesn't breed consistency if you ask me. how can players perform if they know if they lay well, they'll still be replaced.?

2.) 18 Sep 2016 21:25:18
Spot on Steve 70. We have the makings of a good team but constant tinkering needs to stop.

3.) 18 Sep 2016 22:02:52
We won't get anywhere being the same as every other team - we have to be different

Fresh squad for the arsenal game we will give them a cracking game.

4.) 18 Sep 2016 23:53:09
Sorry lads have to disagree, the teams he is putting out are very consistent. every player is being kept fit with a run out, meaning if there's any injuries players on the bench or not can step forward.

the mood in the whole squad is good because the whole squad is getting game time and at the start of the season if you would of said we were going to get a draw with villa, lose by one goal against norwich and have the points what we have at the minute i would of been happy.

also you have to remember, pm was only appointed just before the season started with a whole new load of players doing a cracking job. bring on the arsenal coyr.

5.) 19 Sep 2016 01:40:10
we signed a lot of players who were not fit so with so many games in a short period of time that is why he has to rotate team so often. unfit players is the reason we lost against Norwich. first half I thought we were very good could have been 2-0 up at half time, second half they were all tired and were backing off all the time, we couldn't keep up the same sharpness as the first half. still played some good football so nothing to be too upset about.

6.) 19 Sep 2016 06:04:39
At the risk of sounding negative with the way we are shipping goals.
If arsenal don't win by 4 or 5 goals we will have done well.

7.) 19 Sep 2016 08:13:29
You're right 1973.

Our season is going to be defined by our ability to stop shipping goals or our inability to stop shipping goals because one thing is for sure we will stop scoring as many.

I can't call it to be honest. The season is either going to be a struggle or a success and it's all going to be about goals against. Whilst that may sound obvious it's perhaps masked by the fact we we scoring plenty.

8.) 19 Sep 2016 08:49:30
Lol last season you was moaning about us not scoring this season were scoring hats full of goals and your still finding something to bloody moan about let's get real we are not and probaly never will be barcelona even though some fans on here think we should be in the same category pm is doing a great job on a little bit more budget than df had if we spent 30 million on players i would be moaning and expecting greater things but we didn't and can't so like I've said before we've had the budget of a mid table side anything above a bonus and happy with how are season is going so far new owners 30 million invested in players and maybe next season with pm and time going for promition coyr.

9.) 19 Sep 2016 10:10:24
The key to winning is and always has been the midfield if you get that right like PM did against Leeds then it is fine. Kassami for all his skill gives the ball away far too much, Vaughan when fit would be far better holding midfield Keep Lansbury as an attacking mf alongside CC and Ossie, Use Pieria running at the defence as he frightens the life out of defenders.

The problem yesterday was the lack of a defence because of bad discipline, which wasn't Martin's fault, he picked what he had and I think Benalouane had a great game after 1 training session, as did Colback and Jacob, unfortunately these two are too alike for 442, perhaps his only mistake was to pick a 442 formation so soon.
On the other hand I can't believe so many negative comments, I set next to a guy yesterday who did nothing but criticise the performance, manager, the players and the whole atmosphere in the stadium, the atmosphere I agree with, it was the most subdued I have known for many years, on social media fans have been calling for 442 particularly at home all season, and now its we shouldn't be playing this formation, personally I hope the manager has got the balls to stick with it, it's simple, the easiest thing to do in football is talk, when we are defending everyone picks a man up, yesterday Janko was being pulled into positions he shouldn't have been which gave them 2 men wide left, its simple to talk to team mates.
Cash needs to stand up, he spends more time sat on his backside with his arms in the air,
Danny Fox should be back this week so that will give us more balance( if he isn't sold)
My team would be, (dependant on any new signings)
Steele
Janko Fox Benalouane Robinson
Lolley Colback Guidioura Osborn
Grabben Appiah

Pants, Carvalho, Yates, Jacob, Murphy, Ahmedhodzic, Ward.

All in all I thought we showed promise, again I hope we stick with 442, the fans need to get behind Martin and the players, give them the time to develop, you just never know what can happen in this division.

I know some of you will have a go back but this is my thoughts.

COYR
