I don't understand those wanting to give AK more time. 8 wins in 25 is poor. Lampard been in the job 6 months and got Direby genuine title contenders. Enough is enough. Give An 3 more seasons and we won't be top 3 material. His stubbornness will be his downfall. A trait he has learned from his mentor Mourinho.

1.) 29 Dec 2018 22:09:19
Lampard inherited a team that had been in play offs last few seasons not one fighting relegation

2.) 30 Dec 2018 00:24:38
Trentender you really are holding out for a miracle,it won't come mate.
Your just making excuses for the chosen☝️
Open your eyes and see what's happening and has been from day one, except the odd game ,we just aren't good enough under this manager.
Mendes will have the replacement lined up.

3.) 30 Dec 2018 01:23:05
Ff are you prepared to take a couple of steps back, cus that's what will happen under a new manager?

4.) 30 Dec 2018 01:37:42
I am not sure about AK but trentender is right. You can't compare lampard at dirby and AK at forest. Lamps took over a squad already pushing for the top 6

5.) 30 Dec 2018 03:44:40
what about bielsa with leeds then, they were poor last 3 years and now he's got them looking like wolves were last year.

6.) 30 Dec 2018 07:10:12
Lampard has no managerial experience yet he seems to be OK.
Krankie is stubborn and can't see his tactics as wrong.
Fans and other managers see this and adapt tactics to suit then Krankie flaps.
You can't utilise the same tactics each week.
Krankie got found out.
The championship is getting each year and I feel when boro got promoted teams had less money than compared to today.

7.) 30 Dec 2018 11:57:26
Wow ak lovers will say anything lampard has bought in 13 new players since he took charge so the last few seasons have no bearing sake boat as us, most of our players have challenged for promotion in there career but I'm guessing that doesn't count

8.) 30 Dec 2018 14:01:08
Lamoard has no managerial experience has brought in some good English plsyers has changed their formation to 4 3 3 which some on here laughed about. Derby are flying. For sure i woukd rather have frankie thsn krankie

9.) 30 Dec 2018 21:27:58
The Super Leeds that have lost to Preston, Blackburn, Hull, Birmingham, WBA and should have lost to Forest

Not many big hitters there
They do seem to scrape wins by the odd goal to be fair

So far apart from a few individual performances I see very little to make me believe we are any better than last season. Lack of firepower a huge issue which for me isn't get sorted anytime soon. If we don't pick up a win in the league this week then I can only see heads dropping quickly. Don't want to be negative but for Lamouchi needs to be stamping his ideas and get them working. If what the past 3 games have shown is his style then a season of mediocrity beckons and another potential management change. I'm sure I'll get slated for this post but it's just my opinion.

Steviec26

1.) 14 Aug 2019 15:11:07
I’ll take mediocrity if it means we keep a manager for longer than 6 months. We’ve been a basket case for years and I’ve lost count the amount of styles we’ve tried to commit to. Need to give this man a chance and fans should back him.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 16:54:27
Redtree l think our new coach knows what he’s doing
He’s been handed a poor deck of cards cover galore in all positions apart from one position A STRIKER
Like last few years can’t see where the goals are coming from.

3.) 14 Aug 2019 17:12:44
I think there are definite signs of improvement and a totally different attack based approach. How effective it will be we wait to see.

4.) 14 Aug 2019 17:29:42
I think we have seen already that the cutting edge is not there. We have loads of options but not upfront where we need it most.

5.) 14 Aug 2019 18:19:59
Early days but the first 3 games have given little indication of any real attacking threat. Don't care who we have up front as they will just be fighting against 2 centre half's and feeding off scraps. A win is a win though and let's hope for another on Saturday, hopefully with an improved performance.

6.) 14 Aug 2019 18:20:14
I can see improvements too. Hope those above the manager are learning from mistakes too. Even though we’ve lost Colback I think once all our midfielders are settled it will be an improvement on last season.

7.) 14 Aug 2019 18:46:01
Redtree you can settle all you like for mediocrity, my guess is the owner won’t, if we are not in and around the top 6 by Christmas or probably sooner, this manager will be gone, and as long as this owner has the club that will be a recurring theme, I don’t believe this squad capable of a promotion push this or any other sadly, the only people anywhere near the squad with any pace are raw untried kids, looks like we are obliged to play a novice keeper, and frequently get embarrassed for pace at the back semedo looks a player, sow looks ok but is a card waiting to happen, any failure to challenge won’t be the fault of the coach, but of the dof/ owner who doesn’t appear to appreciate how hard this league is,

8.) 14 Aug 2019 19:09:46
No need to worry like del boy said. this time next year lol we will be saying the same old crap.

9.) 14 Aug 2019 19:38:19
Redtree SL is picking a back four with zero pace, a goalie who is an absolute trialist. He has not pushed the boat out and demanded a decent couple of strikers. If you want to back a manager for 6 months+ who thinks like this then good luck. I like a lot of Lamouchi says but reality is we are, which was evident again last night, suspect to balls over the top and through the middle.

10.) 14 Aug 2019 19:39:40
Colback and Benaloaune were cards waiting to happen Stevie f.

11.) 14 Aug 2019 19:45:50
Gm2d so your point is?

12.) 14 Aug 2019 20:18:05
Some Forest fans really take the biscuit, the manager does not know what he is doing, after two whole league games we can't play like Man City. What next get rid of him because he dosent wear the right colour socks? . After years of utter rubbish any manager will need time to build a team, these fans should remember Fergie was only one
game from the sack at Man utd and look what he went on to do . There is a saying about rushing things, all it gets you is a belly full of ulcers and a house full of kids . It may take a season to get the team playing as he wants, at least give him that long . We may as well have a revolving door in the managers office if things continue.

13.) 14 Aug 2019 21:01:25
Veritas I think your missing the point, it’s not the fans who will get rid of him but the owner, he is less patient than any fan,

14.) 14 Aug 2019 22:03:57
No but we’ve every right to ask why we’ve turned the club upside down for no gain. No issue with change if it’s change for the better. Performances so far are no where near good enough . If it’s ‘going to take time ‘ then it wasn’t the right move.

15.) 14 Aug 2019 22:41:32
Passionate post veritas. You may be about to wrestle the crown away from Red balloons!

16.) 15 Aug 2019 06:07:28
Veritas, the owner won’t give him a season to get it right, he’s been brought in to immediately make us better than we were, the point people are making is that we are no better, there is no improvement and if we are poorer than last season in the next few weeks he will be gone .

17.) 15 Aug 2019 11:23:50
As Veritas said 2 games in with new players and then people saying no improvement on last year and yet it's the owner who has less patience than the fans!

To be slating them after a couple of games is a bit much, how can the owner be expected to be patient when a lot of our fans don't even show a modicum of it.

18.) 15 Aug 2019 12:05:19
Ginger let me just remind you its the owner that keeps promising the fans big things and return to the premiership and he's the one sacking the managers as there not getting us any where near the top 6 he his the one saying all this getting the fans hopes up its that simple and to be honest you look at the teams around you how they have invested and strenghened there teams with a few quality players and teams like luton that have came up with a team that's stuck together over a few seasins and then us 8-9 new players every season unknown players that have not ever played in England and we look like a average mid table if lucky team now if he was to keep the best 11 keep the manager for another season add a bit of quality next season then we might have a chance next season but this season you can forget top 10 simples.

19.) 15 Aug 2019 13:17:01
Point still missed, we had made some progress last season so unless you are creating a better situation why change. Saying it’s only two games in and it’s going to take time only makes the point stronger.

20.) 15 Aug 2019 14:39:35
Seem to remember 1or 2 on here calling for patience, who were on O’Neill’s back after about 3 games calling him a dinosaur.

21.) 15 Aug 2019 15:12:05
It's the same with every manager we have had, if they pick players they don't like or style they don't like they want them gone just as soon as the vacancy sign has been taken down.

22.) 15 Aug 2019 15:38:18
Remember that about warbuton who was supposed to been given time to lol.

23.) 15 Aug 2019 20:47:40
Think we are all desperate for the club to reach the B. C heights . I remember after the Storey-moore, Joe Baker team split the long wait for success to re appear and it did with B. C . I also remember during his fist season some fans saying he was not right for the club and we should get rid . Our problem is after being the best team in europe we are now in a lull and the longer it lasts the more impatient we become because we feel we are better than this. A bad result and our frustration is eased by slating the players or manager straight after the game, i know i do it myself but then a day or so later i take the positives out of the game and again look forward to the next match . Look at Villa last season , started slow Grealish comes back in the team and up they go . The most expensive watch in the world is only as good as a couple of quid spring, one mediocre player may make the difference to us so support all the team this weekend . COYR.

24.) 15 Aug 2019 21:41:19
Veritas I think everyone on here does support the team, I wanted both karanka and then O’Neill to be allowed to get on with the job but it wasn’t to be, the owner sacks managers not so called impatient fans, who will fill the ground on Saturday again, despite watching some pretty awful stuff for most of the last 20 years, so if you need to blame somebody for the mess we are in look at the decision makers over the years not the loyal paying customers mate.

25.) 15 Aug 2019 23:51:22
Would never blame any fan for having an opinion Stevie, anyone who pays to be entertained has the right to show their displeasure if they feel they are not getting value for money . It is not the fans who pick the team or the manager, we just pay their wages .

16 Jul 2019 21:33:23
Friendly or not, can't say I was impressed with the Olympiacos game. Forest chasing tails for much of it. Very few passes strung together. No threat from Grabban.

Steviec26

1.) 16 Jul 2019 21:56:29
Get used to it steviec.

2.) 16 Jul 2019 21:56:32
Out classed by a far superior team in a meaningless friendly isn't something to get upset about.

3.) 16 Jul 2019 22:34:37
Agreed Pc76.

11 Jul 2019 13:10:54
Apparently Grabban thinks we don't need another striker. No surprise there then. Clearly worried he will lose his spot. Whilst he had a reasonable haul of goals last season, he missed as many opportunities too. For me he's far too slow, often looked disinterested in many games with his arms out like a spoilt kid not getting the ball. His movement off the ball not that impressove either. We NEED another striker simples.

Steviec26

1.) 11 Jul 2019 13:26:59
Agreed stevie and he missed about 5 crucial pens. Too casual infront of goal.

2.) 11 Jul 2019 13:54:57
Like grabbans confidence but he can shush. We need another striker in case he gets injured. If he goes the whole season injury free he could get 20 goals though. big if though. Oh yeah and take him of penalties, even the ones that went in were poor.

3.) 11 Jul 2019 13:58:53
Been a total pain in the neck where ever he's been by all accounts. Arrogant and mardy. Get rid I say there's better out there.
Wish we could get Gayle different class to Lewis bin laden 👍.

4.) 11 Jul 2019 14:09:20
How can a penalty that goes in be poor? he's done what he needed to do.
Yep absolute disgrace that lad scoring 16 goals last season who does he think he is.

5.) 11 Jul 2019 14:16:29
Just a thought red tree 20 goals in a season for me not enough when. you play in over 50 matches in a season just a thought tho.

6.) 11 Jul 2019 14:34:50
Definitely another striker we can't rely on grabones few goals 😁.

7.) 11 Jul 2019 15:46:16
Get Gayle in. Opposition fans can't stand him so he must be doing something right. I would have in over Grabban any day.

8.) 11 Jul 2019 15:49:31
They are poor penalties because they wasn’t smashed in the top corner beyond the keeper. They usually within a distance I’d expect the keeper to make a save at. I remember thinking he got lucky.

9.) 11 Jul 2019 16:09:28
So any penalty that’s not smashed in the top corner is a poor penalty? players have different ways/ styles of taking penalties so to call someone out because he’s not smashed them in the top corner is ridiculous.

10.) 11 Jul 2019 17:35:14
There’s a place you can hit the ball into the goal where no keeper can get it on a penalty. That in my opinion is a good peno. A bad penalty is one hit within reach of the goalkeeper at a slow pace and the keeper should be saving it. It’s not rocket science. Yeah players do have different styles; grabbans is a crap style that’s why he’s missed so many.

11.) 11 Jul 2019 18:34:14
It only becomes a bad penalty when it hasn't been converted.

12.) 11 Jul 2019 19:38:05
Whatever your opinion on what makes a bad penalty varies, i however believe if you take a penalty that travels slowly the keeper only has to guess the right way and it is going to be saved.

That for me is arrogance personified, when then the keeper guesses the right way you need the ball to travel faster than he is, and should he get to it somehow that he can only help it in.

You can not expect to score from every one but for a keeper to guess right to guarantee to save it is should not happen.

13.) 11 Jul 2019 20:19:51
Can’t believe what I’m reading with regards to gayle personally don’t want that cheat polluting our club.

14.) 11 Jul 2019 22:10:10
Any player that misses four or five in a season is not a good penalty taker.
I have a theory that he can't see the ball when he strikes it because of that stupid beard. 😁😁😁.

15.) 11 Jul 2019 22:52:16
Stevie footballers and football have no principles so get him in and then wed have the best strike force in the division.

16.) 12 Jul 2019 00:35:50
I don't agree with Stevie very often, but personally would be happy for him not to come, really can't abide cheats and divers, glad he got suspended after his antics for West Brom against us.

Grabban is a decent CF and proven at this level, if he stays fit with our midfield he could have a great season. We can only play one at a time up front with our setup. Maybe Walker and a young upcoming striker could be enough. Adomah can slot in there too.

17.) 12 Jul 2019 07:19:58
#Bring Back Britt.

Any chance of a Striker aswell please Monsieur Lamouchi.
Liking what you've brought in so far just not convinced on Ansarafid and Grabban too slow.

1.) 09 Jul 2019 17:08:43
Adomah having medical apparently

2.) 09 Jul 2019 18:02:28
Ameobi through the middle?

3.) 09 Jul 2019 18:31:34
I think Fff said be would want him in, have you an influence at club Fff😂.

4.) 09 Jul 2019 19:06:01
Out of all the players LC he's the one with a bit of quality and knows the championship some of these kids we're signing is justing crossing fingers and hoping.

5.) 09 Jul 2019 20:21:48
We need to use Grabban. The amount of money he cost.! The guy does have ability.

Totally agree. Need a loan striker in asap. Out of those available would be Bony for me. Early days yet to comment on Mir but found him pushed off the ball far too easily.
Ameobi is an absolute animal. Definitely got to be in the first 11 here on in.

Content with the draw. Probably didn't deserve it. Grabban for me is poor. He's too eager to pull shirts and find himself offside. Lucky toe poke but fouled just before that. Other than Semedo, Sow and Ameobi thought we had no direction and looked no better than the O'Neil days. Lolley needs to get on his game again.

Shane Long? Would rather have Shane Ritchie. At almost 33 we'd end up with another 35 year old we are trying to offload in two years ala Murphy.

So if you're blaming Dog for interfering in the last two games maybe you can explain the other games we have lost or thrown away leads. Fact is AK is too rigid with just one formation. Bizarre substitutions, players in odd positions, his lack of touchline activity. Unable to put any kind of winning run together. 18months and still no nearer to any kind of consistency. Don't see any point in giving him two more games. Players coming out supporting him means nothing. Didn't several Man Utd players come out supporting Mourinho yet lo and behold he goes and suddenly they begin picking up results. Those wanting AK to stay are deluded. This bloke isn't getting us into the Premier and even if he did, he is not capable of keeping us in there
