Waghorn doing the rounds again but they want "a lotta money for him". Keep him I say, I'd rather have Olivera back out the two of them. He's been left out the Norwich squad for pre-season so could get him cheap or on a freebie.

TAP1710

1.) 15 Jul 2018 13:02:51
Krankie said he's not after another striker. Just a right back and midfielder.

2.) 15 Jul 2018 16:26:14
AK is not after another striker because unlike many on here he knows how good BB is going to be ,why are so many keen for him to go I just don,t know ,for a 19 year old he,s a real handful and will suprise many this season ,he had his confidence badly knocked by MB but will regain it and shut his critics up ,get off the lads back !
CARLO

3.) 15 Jul 2018 17:33:44
Carlo don't quite agree yes he is a young lad at 19 but to me there is no end product yes he can run teams ragged but that's it and to be honest the only good game i saw him play really well was against arsenal a loan to a div 1 club imo would do him the world of good imo !!!

4.) 15 Jul 2018 18:04:00
Is that from when they promised to make a board game themed on him then dropped him at The last minute Carlo?

5.) 15 Jul 2018 18:05:20
In that case thank God he’s at least Forth choice behind soudani, Murphy and grabban!

6.) 15 Jul 2018 18:51:37
I’ve just seen a 19 year old lad score in the World Cup final! Good enough, old enough!!

7.) 15 Jul 2018 19:03:05
Yep that’s right billy no doubt. There you go Carlo billy has said it too. If you can score goals you’re good enough and old enough . .

8.) 15 Jul 2018 20:22:50
If he was that good he wouldn't be playing for forest.
that 19 year old is exceptional and you can't compare them.

9.) 15 Jul 2018 20:28:58
This season for me is make or break we must hit the ground running we cannot aford to carry young kids ie bb yates etc the owner has invested millions of pounds in the players if we don't get up will be hit ffp and could end up like villa or even the sheep just my opinion

10.) 15 Jul 2018 20:40:44
I’m not comparing them. Brereton has to score in the championship my friend, not the World Cup final!

11.) 15 Jul 2018 20:44:02
I agree with you APS, I’m all for it if they are good enough but if they’re not let them get their games and experience elsewhere, I can’t see what the issue is with that.

12.) 15 Jul 2018 22:56:54
Well wait till the season starts billabong and judge him then not on last season, has got better players to provide for him hopefully.

13.) 15 Jul 2018 22:57:20
Calm down Aps. The 3 year period of FFP started last year which was the year we made a profit. Considering the players we signed for high fees will be over 3 and 5 years respectively we should be ok with regards FFP for a couple more seasons.

14.) 15 Jul 2018 23:06:10
A bit different having Grizemann as your strike partner compared to Velios Cummings just saying.

15.) 15 Jul 2018 23:09:41
Well billy he isn't scoring in the championship either but then again who is !!

16.) 16 Jul 2018 08:45:28
Strikers will score if they get service. Forest like England have had no creative midfielders to open up the chances. AK is addressing the midfield and pace out wide and so there will be no excuses for strikers not putting away a greater percentage of chances.

We will see how good BB is this season as part of a balanced team. I'm backing all 4 strikers to have good goal stats this season.

17.) 16 Jul 2018 15:32:32
So you telling me Velios wouldn’t score with the right service? I’m sure he would but that doesn’t stop everyone on here saying he’s crap!

18.) 16 Jul 2018 15:55:29
That's because he is crap with a capitol.not one manager has rated him and that's four,so best to go with their judgement I'd say.🤔

06 Jul 2018 22:21:27
Grabban, Soudani, Brereton and Murphy ( if he gets his head sorted) up top, that's some firepower, a really good midfield unit both defensive and creative, a solid defence, providing we get Byram and Fabio which gives us 2 options at both full back positions, 4 good centre backs and a giant in goal. A good manager, brilliant owner and behind the scenes staff. Passionate fans, 19,000 season tickets sold. The Reds are going up. Come On URedz. ⚽️🔴⚪️.

TAP1710

1.) 07 Jul 2018 05:50:50
I do not think the manager will play with four up top. 😋 😁 😁.

10 Jun 2018 14:58:54
Alvaro Negrodo could be coming our way.
Out of contract at Seville and played for Karanka at Boro.

TAP1710

1.) 10 Jun 2018 18:47:06
Glad we're not signing that guy "Fekir!!" 😂😂😂

{Ed001's Note - his mam could have had a shirt with 'Mother Fekir' on the back....}

2.) 10 Jun 2018 19:13:07
True!!! Imagine the opposing team's Team Talk. "Right lads whatever you do don't let that "Fekir" out of your site!!! 😂😂😂

{Ed001's Note - you can have so much fun with a name like that.}

3.) 10 Jun 2018 19:26:36
His kids must be little "Fekir's" too!!! 😂😂😂

4.) 10 Jun 2018 20:08:23
I have to say chaps that this site is going down hill rapidly😢

5.) 10 Jun 2018 20:53:39
Better and wiser than the likes of marriott that's for sure.

6.) 11 Jun 2018 03:17:30
We have had a few lazy Fekirs in recent seasons!

7.) 11 Jun 2018 09:09:48
This is Fek news. If he dives will he be called a Fekir and get a yellow card?

8.) 11 Jun 2018 11:24:30
It feels like an episode of Mrs Brown's boys!

28 Jan 2018 10:24:42
Barnsley negotiating a move for Mills according to John Percy at the Telegraph.
Normally a reliable source.
I'll give the big lump a lift up there if he needs one.

TAP1710

1.) 28 Jan 2018 12:14:54
Just grab hold of his hairband and release sharply, should get him up the M1 ok

2.) 28 Jan 2018 14:59:20
Fingers crossed on this one but surely we'll need to bring in a replacement fast

3.) 28 Jan 2018 15:03:43
Replacement for what exactly? ???

4.) 28 Jan 2018 17:19:13
Very funny Chugsy!!😂😂😂

5.) 28 Jan 2018 20:01:29
That's funny I had a dream last week that we signed a big Nordic looking defender from Barnsley? As they do not have one and need an experienced centre half maybe it was Mills going the other way?

Maybe a swap involving Andy Yiadom who would give us some options on the left side of defence and midfield?

6.) 29 Jan 2018 10:11:54
Leaves us a little short at CB if we sell Mills and Manc or Worrall get injured or suspended. I'm all for it but need to think about who we have for cover. Fox?!

7.) 29 Jan 2018 11:34:38
TAP1710, I'll go halfers on the petrol money with you.

8.) 29 Jan 2018 12:41:12
Gazza,

We are short at centre back with him in the squad! Sooner have Iacovitti as cover if we cannot get another in.

9.) 29 Jan 2018 17:37:04
Sooner play vellios at the back than mills

10.) 29 Jan 2018 18:26:00
Can we not sneak Darikwa,Hobbs, and Carayol in the boot??🚗🚗🚗

01 Jan 2018 10:00:18
The alarm bells should've started ringing last season when Warbo insisted on playing Ward up top on his own and left Britt on the bench.

TAP1710

1.) 01 Jan 2018 11:32:33
I do hear some nonsense on here. He kept us up buddy so it worked!

2.) 01 Jan 2018 11:36:38
MW did not keep us up, 2 goals kept us up and a huge slice of luck.

3.) 01 Jan 2018 12:00:29
Yes if Blackburn had gone 3-0 at Brentford inside 20 mins Danny Graham missed a sitter who knows.

4.) 01 Jan 2018 12:32:04
If Huddersfield had put a full strength side out?Who knows?
All irrelevant,we stayed up end of.

5.) 01 Jan 2018 12:51:33
Jamie Ward was instrumental in Forest surviving. People have short memories.

6.) 01 Jan 2018 13:07:30
Totally agree mate. and THAT save!!!

"Cost us" Pantilimon was the weakest link on Saturday. I was sat facing his six yard line. For the first goal he was already crouched down in the begging position waiting for the cross to drop into his hands instead of going to meet the ball, their lad nipped in front of him and scored. A decent keeper would've held the shot for their second, instead he parried it and the same lad buried it. His booking was a joke as well, if you ain't got a short pass on, launch it. Time for the giant, static, point costing lump to hang his gloves up or just chuck them in the bin.

TAP1710

1.) 22 Oct 2018 09:17:00
Rather see Smith between the sticks, makes mistakes yeah but he's young and he will learn from them, pants is pure crap, sunderland got rid of him, watford too, there's good reason he's absolutely garbage

04 Sep 2018 17:13:04
Could do with Alan Sugar giving Krankie a phone call " Aitor-you're fired! "👈.

TAP1710

01 Sep 2018 19:22:19
Mr. Karanka, you pick the team and formations and your tactics lost us the game. It was your fault.

TAP1710

01 Sep 2018 19:10:42
Another season of promise is disappearing over the horizon. All of the hype which led to record season ticket sales is fastly evaporating, a false dawn looms. Negative tactics, poor formations and wrong team selections have finally taken their toll. This defeat was coming, one win in six against an average Reading side is a poor return from all of the dosh splashed out. Brereton and Vellios bombed out on loan with no replacement strikers coming in is more than disappointing, two recognised "strikers" is not enough for a promotion push. Okay Murphy works hard and has netted a couple, Grabnone doesn't even look like scoring and Appiah ain't been nowhere near the first team and is unproven at this level. Don't be fooled into thinking that this team under Krankie's guidance will get anywhere near promotion, not a chance, he won't change what he does or how he sets his teams up to play and his lack of animation on the touch line is baffling, he just stands there with his hands in his pockets, he'd make a good scarecrow. Time for Mr. Marinakis to book the floppy fringed clown a taxi. We need a new head honcho pronto.

TAP1710

1.) 01 Sep 2018 19:25:42
I said before he got here he was a double of dougie boring defensive football and a manager who doesn't know what a striker is or how to use one but i wouldn't worry to much mr marankis will be sharpining is axe on mr project man noticed the rose tinted glasses fans ain't on here icing on the cake will be tmoz when young ben scores on is debut

2.) 01 Sep 2018 19:44:34
and skegjay you also said in a previous post after a lucky home win against burton montanier is the manager that forest need ( what happend )

3.) 01 Sep 2018 20:17:49
I also dangerous dougie would be as boring and crap mr karankas twin one thing about montanair he knew how to use forwads even if he was crap karanka as 3 games at the most lol 👐👐

4.) 01 Sep 2018 21:09:33
Not been on here for a year or so.
Skeg still harping on about Freedman, probably the best manager the club has had in recent years. He had no money to spend yet still went on a 13 game unbeaten run, 6 wins and 7 draws. He had no strikers to pick as they had all been sold or injured. I was at the AMEX to watch his real side rip Brighton apart and scored for fun in an exciting attacking formation, only circumstances meant he had to stop the opposition scoring which he did without whining on.
The issue now having been to 4 of the games is the formation which does sadly fall on the managers table. Cannot see how you can play with 2 defensive midfield and 1 striker, maybe a 3-5-2 would suit the players we currently have with Osborn and Cash the wide midfield/full backs.

5.) 01 Sep 2018 21:25:19
When you put it like that balanced view it makes karanka look even worst.
Good analysis of the current squad and I'd certainly agree a better formation to play ,but alas this karanka and in 28 games he's not changed formation so can't see it happening now.
Welcome back

6.) 01 Sep 2018 21:59:49
Balance no woder u ain't been on for a year being a dougie fan lol

7.) 01 Sep 2018 22:24:46
Completely agree balanced view regarding Freedman. Not sure about 3-5-2 though.

01 Sep 2018 14:23:52
Bridcutt must be the unluckiest player at the club. Should be in the starting line up today along with Steele. He'll end up on the scrap heap with Brereton. He's got more to offer than Watson and Colback but Krankie is too stubborn.

TAP1710

1.) 01 Sep 2018 15:21:01
I think both Steele and Bridcutt will get their chance: it's a long season.

2.) 01 Sep 2018 15:27:49
He was always going to play Watson and colback and it's a massive mistake, they are both very negative and can't play together.
He should have learnt that after the Birmingham and Newcastle games but he hasn't.

3.) 01 Sep 2018 15:57:06
Like I've said and in karanka we trust? Lol.

Couldn’t agree more doc. More points, less excuses. There’s no point bringing in 2 decent full backs to sort the problem positions and then to bench them. Start the game with our best 11.

Madness. This lad could be our future. What’s he done wrong to be exciled. It makes me sick to the bottom of my stomach. I’ve been optimistic and kept an open mind but I’m starting to swing towards Skegsjay and FF79. Some of Krankies selections, formations and tactics are questionable and not working but he’ll keep playing Grabban who is like a slug and doesn’t look interested and the £13m splashed out doesn’t look like a wise purchase at the mo, he ain’t no Reuben Neves.

I just don’t get the logic of some people?
Brereton is our lad, he cost us nowt, he was thrown in at the deep end last season and did a fantastic job. He’s still a teenager at the start of his career. We don’t need the money, we don’t need to sell and we’re not exactly flushed in the striker department. Grabban might hold the ball up well but from what I’ve seen so far, he lacks a bit of pace and I guess he was bought in to bag the goals, early doors still I know and I’m not knocking him. I like the look of Soudanni, he has the temperament to do well. Murphy is at the twilight end of his career and won’t be prolific. And that’s it, our 4 forwards. Which brings me back to young Ben. He has pace, he’s strong and has an eye for goal, look at how many he scored in the under 18/23 sides.?Scores for England and has the ability to run defenders ragged. No wonder Blackburn are offering millions. I say keep him and let him blossom.

So you are happy to pay good money to watch us being played off the park then Redinexile? Poor performances, poor managerial decisions, underachieving promise. I for one won’t sing along to that dross. You can clap and sing along if you want but it won’t make Krankie stop being stubborn and playing the way he does and keep picking the same players that he does.

Stevie-Rangers are a “big club” in Scotland as there are only 2 big clubs, them and Celtic. They are bound to have a big following, it’s like Man City, Man U, Liverpool etc; in England. But that doesn’t mean that they’d challenge our big clubs in our Premier League. Yes, they’ve got the following but they haven’t got the quality, the standard in Scotland is not as good as in England. They would struggle massively in the Prem and they wouldn’t “walk” the championship either. They definitely wouldn’t challenge the biggest clubs in the Prem, there’s no comparison.
