O'grady, Williams, Mendes and Nelson Oliveira are the four players.

Schellotto is a free agent so he can still sign, all resources were used on the loan signings first.

Does it mean that Paul Taylor not going to be signed? Bit unfortunate for him after having been with us pre-season til now. Good that this weekend clear.

Tesche has been great its true. But he is in the Vaughan mould. A fine possession player, tidy and efficient but not the bundle of energy and robust tackling that Cohen is. In this division you need an enforcer and, while I've loved our start we haven't always played a short passing possession game. We play with energy, width, pace, directness and counter attacking flair. Moves are swiftly put together and hit hard and fast. I hated Guediora in the holding role (lack of discipline and rash) but as an all action presence he wouldn't be a bad addition. I'd still rather look elsewhere though!

Can I endorse that good luck message to Greg and hope the same goes to Collins when he gets a move. SOD brought both in at a time when a squad needed hasty assembling and the choice was narrow. I don't think he or we ever expected either to be players to take us into the prem. But they have been good, solid pros, who have seen us through tough patches and neither ever gave less than their best or showed anything but support for the club. Good luck!

SP wants width, we saw that on Saturday. How many times did we ping balls the full width of the pitch to wingers hugging the line? Check the list of players you name: Reid, Lans, Lars, Pato, Britt etc. and add Osborn, Cohen, Vaughan, et al. All prefer to play through the middle and an injury to Antonio or Burke could severely disrupt team shape. I don't personally feel we need Zaha as such but if SP wants to play the way we did on Saturday then he needs more quick, skilful options out wide.

It's like comparing maple syrup and bacon. They are very different joys. Together though they would taste fantastic. We love Henri of course but it's daft to say he is better than Zaha. Both have great potential and, if we get the chance (which I don't think we will) we should add both to the team pancake.

Zaha would be a great signing in this division even with the attitude. His acquisition might also help Lansbury with his decision to stay rather than divert money away from his contract. Having watched the lads on Saturday it's clear Pearce is planning to play with real width and pace and beyond Antonio and Burke he still doesn't have a lot of quality or pace in wide areas. Also when we play 451 which SP seems adamant he will, we will need more attacking midfielders who can score and cover the ground. More games for Pato I hope as couldn't believe McClaughlin got a run instead of him! Britt was also sent to play wide right late on suggesting we could do with a few more options there.
