Cant see us signing Assabolonga. He played tonight in a friendly and Poah have just sold Ajose to Leeds. It would take a monter bid.
I hope Grant Holt isn't the one we are after. He has played his best years and we need better.

With Burke aboard, I think we only need one more striker and we'll have no excuses (Assuming injuries clear up/dont get any worse)!!

1.) I think we need a striker, winger and right back. I'd love the James Vaughan rumour to be true. I'd also love to see Mcleary back.

Do you think if we signed Thorne he would get into our team? If so who would you leave out.
Obviously Direby are signing him and he looked good last season but not better than our midfielders (1st choice)
1.) Dont know how true it is but 2. 75 mill plus add ons is what a sheep told me ( not a big Q for him is there ).
2.) It'll be our young midfielders others want soon not WBA's I really can't see us going in other than to scupper the sheep?
Our academy boys have a proper route through again as I remember they did under a certain mr Clough.
Like is said above too who would he replace? Nobody that's who! Any young uns in and around the first team now should (& I think will) be from our own academy.
Is it me or does it feel like our club again? The faces, the noises coming out, the academy, the buzz before a balls even been kicked this season I'd like to say thank you to Fawaz and Stuart for facilitating that.

Id rather be managed by a Rams fan. By far the most over-rated manager in last 5 yrs. Ask any Reading fan Or Soton fan. they still say Adkins lived off Pardews success!

You're right. we should put things into perspective, we lost to a team in a lower division that are not playing well recently. Even if you believe tge Forest team/squad is average we should expect to win.
Pearce was my favourite player but how can so many players be out of form/playing below expectations.
I think peoples perspectives are pretty accurate but because its Pearce we want him to succeed more than any other. When would you change things? If not in Jan, might as well wait till the summer and based on last 16 games we will be in league 1.
I think we'll score a consolation via Fryup in 65th minute.
