Warburton plan B is to do plan A better.
Said it himself. Post match.
Wanted him to succeed but needs to go.
O'Neil and Keane double act for me.
Anyone not giving his all. Keane would bloody sort them out.

Not sticking up for him as I think it's time for him to go but he did not say that.
He said he had said that in the past hence why people say he has no plan B.
I still think he is stubborn and will not change, his style is all he is prepared to play but he did change it about today but too little too late for me.

2.) 30 Dec 2017 18:01:23
It doesn't matter a jot how many plans you have when they are all crap and none of them work!

3.) 30 Dec 2017 18:04:34
I can’t believe there are still people out there that are backing Warburton. Do they really think he should be allowed to spend more money on useless players in the January window because they will be no better than what we already have. Most of them will probably come from rangers

4.) 30 Dec 2017 18:07:05
Wouldn't have Keano, waste of time, but if O'Neill would come he would be outstanding.

5.) 30 Dec 2017 18:07:45
Red dog. Yeh he said it in past apparently
But teams he's managed in past have confirmed it also.

6.) 30 Dec 2017 18:21:18
Vets, I totally agree with you mate, just setting the records straight.
I still think he means it though.
Also in his post match interview I think he was nothing but sarcastic towards the fans that said he had no plan b which will do him no favours.
Loosing the respect of the players and fans very quickly.
I am on this forum on a regular basis and it's interesting to see how people are rapidly changing their opinions on him

At home we need to play 2 up front, but until we sign a midfielder who can boss the midfield, can't see Warburton altering. We're too lightweight in middle.
Bridgcutt ok but small, Vaughan can't manage 2 games on bounce, Bouch not good enough.

On paper defence isn't bad; Licha, worrall, manchienne, troare. But no protection from centre mid. I'd say we need another centre back maybe Dawson hull contract almost up. Left back because troare injury prone. Centre mid we need a Joey Barton type of player. I don't want anymore players from Scotland Mickey Mouse league.

Let's face it Cummings wasn't good enough. Just shows how weak Scottish league is.
Another player velios. No better than we already have.
So who do we bring in on loan.
I'd try Danny inggs been on bench just lately for Liverpool.
Ripped championship up a few years ago with Burnley before doing cruciate.

1.) 16 Jan 2018 12:04:16
The vellios situation seems strange as montanier hardly played him and preferred bendtner when fit or Britt.
Warbo didn't play him and if he's not on the bench Saturday, then that would suggest he's either not rated or they want him off the wage bill?
Or he's just lazy in training either way his situation needs to be sorted.

2.) 16 Jan 2018 13:39:21
To be fair, neither player has been given a decent run in the team for us to be able to judge them. You have to assume what ever the reason is, it's deemed significant in order to outcast Vellios, and let Cummings go so soon.

3.) 16 Jan 2018 13:41:13
I disagree with only one striker up front and 5 or 6 strikers at the club Cummings never really got a chance. In the past we always had a pair up front that way a gud partnership and understanding could be made. Personally I like 2 up top I know football has changed some wat, just my opinion since that we haven't had a 20 goal a season player

4.) 16 Jan 2018 15:50:49
I agree , Cummings and velios would get a bag full if they had Murphy or from what I saw against Arsenal brereton holding the ball up and banging some balls into the box. Our strikers constantly feed off scraps and yet people slagging Cummings who hasn’t really had a chance

5.) 16 Jan 2018 16:22:25
Trouble is Billy you need to play two up and that's not going to happen under Karanka either.
Personally with the squad we have and the lack of goals from midfield other than McKay and Dowell we'd be better off with two up,but I'm afraid you won't see it

6.) 16 Jan 2018 18:43:21
Agreed

15 Jan 2018 12:51:16
If there's a few clubs interested in Cummings. Shouldn't we be looking to sell rather than loan. 1m would do.
Same with grant, yates ect.
Velios should be sold back to Greece
Raise some funds for karanka
With what we made and still got left from Britt money.
We should not be selling the likes of brereton and worrell.
We need to off load fox Hobbs mills ward carayol
Cohen needs to retire and use Vaughan as back up for new midfielders coming in.

If Cummings comes back from Rangers firing on all cylinders, then gets pre-season training with AK then fires on all cylinders for Forest by being used properly he will be an asset, or go for much, much more than now.

I'm not sure about Grant, but i think Yates next season could save us a lot of money in that position.

Vellious would make a good change of tactic, but if AK does not like him then yes get rid.

I would not sell Berereton if i could avoid it, but as much as i like Worrall if we could get good money for him i would sell.

Hobbs, Mills, and Carayol i agree with, but i again think Ward is a good change of tactic.

Cohen does need to retire, but i think Cash could do Vaughan's job, Vaughan is too expensive to be a back up.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 14:06:29
I’d rather see ward start than Dowell

Dowell is a luxury that we don’t need right now, we need a grafter in that position

3.) 15 Jan 2018 14:10:09
Vaughan is the best tackler in our team, shows it every game. Cash's tackling is virtually non-existent. Bridcutt can tackle but often loses it too quickly. We don't have a midfielder yet who can boss the pitch and make the opposition wary of trying to get past him.

4.) 15 Jan 2018 14:29:43
I would sell brereton as he does not have goals in him yet. Works hard and will come good but over worral? No worral us captain material and with a better centre half alongside he is a star in the making. I pointed out at the end of the ipswich game Cohen pulled up injured. To me offering him a squad place was madness. Great sevant when fit but it has been painful this last 4 years. Cummings has never been played in hus best position and is a cocky man who will score at this level if given a chance. But greyandred i see your points

5.) 15 Jan 2018 14:30:07
Vets,

None of this restructuring is going to happen this month so what's the plan?

6.) 15 Jan 2018 14:42:44
Bridcutt is definately improving and you could see the difference when he came on on sunday. He needs a bit more quality to work with. But after a dubious start i am taking tk liam bridcutt.

7.) 15 Jan 2018 14:45:46
You're right, exile. We haven't got time in January to restructure. If we could get a few more points on the board in the next few games then the pressure is off in the last 10 games and we could try to tinker and blood more youngsters when we're mathematically safe. In that case isn't there a case for Karanka to call in some favours for say a 3 month loan? Jose, we need some muscle in midfield. Got or know anyone? We don't really have the breathing space yet to risk rusty or under-confident players.

Fancy us to win today. 2-1.
But regarding transfer speculation
We've been linked to
Leadbitter Clayton
Bamford. Mulonda
I'd take leadbitter Clayton for right price.
Mulonda on loan. But we still need centre half who's available
If karankor addressed these positions we could be that team that gatecrashes play offs.

Whoever gets appointed I think they will demand a transfer kitty of around 5m.
Otherwise we will struggle to fill position with a proven manager. We was out of embargo before Britt was sold. So funds should be available.
Centre half, left back, centre midfielder
Should be priorities I'm happy with smith in goal. Improving all time.

1.) 03 Jan 2018 17:19:13
5 million should just about get a half decent left back

2.) 03 Jan 2018 18:59:05
Is bokic ?who we had last season available thought he was decent left back

3.) 03 Jan 2018 19:42:36
Only way £5 million would be available is if we sold a few players.

31 Dec 2017 17:36:09
Please whoever next manager is. Please don't let them be Scottish or had previous experience in Scotlands Mickey Mouse league.
Let's get O'Neil and Keane in.
Any player not stepping up for O'Neill player management style. Let Keane drown them in Trent.

1.) 31 Dec 2017 18:13:03
Id like o'neill aswell one last crack at getting a team up and making them a top four team lmfao, well we can dream can't we ? Its whether he'll want to manage at club level again let alone in the championship. Still i think him and keano would make a great double act let's see if marikinas can sweet talk him its a big ask but funnier things have happened who'd have thought Mr Clough would have gone to forest, very unfashionable club and look how that turned out, ok i'm dreaming again but hey rose tinted spectacles on all that.

If we have to sell one of our stars to add to squad. Summit not right with new owners.
Point 1 we was already out of before they came in.
2 we sold. Britt 15m Only spent half that including pererborough sell on fee.
Record season ticket sales.
3 were allowed 39m losses over 3 years. With ffp.
So we shouldn't need to sell our best talent
To fund owt. The owner needs to dip into his own pockets.

Wouldn't blame worrell for going.
But Southampton guy. Went for 75m from what bits I've seen of him. he's probably only a little better than worrell.
So I'd be slapping a 20m plus price tag on worrell.
