Guediora gone. No news on the fee yet.

1.) 15 Aug 2019 14:31:17
The way we have done business recently, we have probably paid him to go.

2.) 15 Aug 2019 17:42:55
Presume he got better wages offer after AFCON. Doubt whether we got a fee though.

3.) 16 Aug 2019 07:07:03
Good ridence waste of time coming back. Money grabber over rated past his best.

4.) 16 Aug 2019 09:06:42
Can you point out any footballer who isn't into it for the money?

It's funny as he speaks really highly of you Real:)

5.) 19 Aug 2019 07:38:02
Of course they all play for money but some it's the only driving force.
Club statement says it all I think just confirms he has gone not wish him all the best etc.

6.) 20 Aug 2019 13:01:16
Last time Geddy was a first team regular we were genuine play-off contenders. It is easy to forget these things.

7.) 20 Aug 2019 13:01:57
And we did get a fee.

8.) 20 Aug 2019 16:34:08
That was then he was a far better player then this time just didn't do it so best he has gone far better in and hungry to impress rather than living off 10 years ago.

9.) 20 Aug 2019 17:00:58
I agree he didn't look the player he was but with the proviso that he didn't really get a good run in the team. We have had several midfielders on our books who haven't really had a run (Bridcutt? ) . I put that down to poor recruitment planning and panic buying in a stupid attempt to get out of the division quickly rather than building a team.

Turkish club interested in Benalouane. I'd let him go.

Gomis loaned out to Macclesfield Town.

bsered

1.) 10 Aug 2019 13:23:20
I'd loan out most of the dross we've got playing against Leeds still no movement of the ball can't pass for toffee grabban still not had a decent ball put into him dawson banging 40 yard balls to nobody, we've go 40 players on our books surely we can find 11 that can play football.

2.) 10 Aug 2019 13:34:22
Dan what do you expect from these players with all the constant changes it's the second game of the season away at a Leeds side who have been together a lot longer and its 0-0 I will take that all day long at 90 minutes not many teams will go there this season and create much.

3.) 10 Aug 2019 13:56:47
All ways same excuse not had time they've had a full pre season, What's the excuse for not being able to pass 10 yards or hitting the ball 50 yards to nobody, last week Brom had 5 new players in they made us look crap, in 10 games time will it still be they've not had enough time together.

4.) 10 Aug 2019 14:28:20
Yes and what did they spend on those players you can't even compare it lol.

5.) 10 Aug 2019 15:12:28
I actually thought there was quite a few positives. Leeds targeted Cash, cause you know you totally would, he's not a full back. Now we got Jenkinson for the next game. Semedo looks all of the projected 25mil. Ameobi made an impact and silva looks tight. Sorry Ben Watson but he won't be in a squad pushing for promotion.

6.) 10 Aug 2019 16:59:59
Positives for today?

1. Hopefully that will be Cash's last game as a defender.

2. Ameobi looks like he can be a class player for us and showed some good skill.

3. Samedo looks really good, and an exciting player.

4. Muric will hopefully be more confident for the game.

5. Sow looks decent.

6. Defence was solid.

Some not so good bits:

1. Not being anywhere creative enough.

2. Grabban looks elsewhere.

3. Lolley looks out of sorts today and first game.

4. Watson is crudd.

5. Passing was atrocious for most part.

Onwards and upwards.

7.) 10 Aug 2019 19:30:15
Spot on Chimaera71.

8.) 10 Aug 2019 20:59:30
Defo not spot on. cash was quality today and I wouldn’t change him, don’t change a player that’s played well.
Grabban looks elsewhere? he was pushed pulled and prodded all game. he was getting no service whatsoever and dropped deep to get a touch of the ball and ran with it and used the ball well when he did settting us on some attacks. if you don’t appreciate that then you will never be happy.

9.) 10 Aug 2019 22:19:47
Jonjo are you sure your a forest fan?
25 mill? Only joking mate he's a good player but not that good.

10.) 12 Aug 2019 16:30:44
No maybe not that good but have been impressed so far. Be a shame to give him back.

08 Aug 2019 17:39:08
Chema Rodriguez in. We now have 8 centre backs. That should stop people scoring lol.

Who cares if it’s for a year, six months or forever. What a crap transfer farce we’ve had. We won’t win games without no one to stick the ball in the net. Rubbish.

Sabri and his management team have got such nous on team and sub selection, it looks like the suggestions on here of what team/players to field is fast becoming redundant? There may be a few quibbles here and there on individuals, but most of us seem happy with who he chooses. Compare that to the last X number of seasons when we were all at it choosing different players and sides every week!

bsered

1.) 17 Sep 2019 13:03:41
Why are none of our players in the Team Of The Week?
As some said "we're under the radar. suits us just fine"
Have to agree with that.
COYRS!

2.) 17 Sep 2019 15:41:11
We won't be under the radar for much longer. The rest of the league will sit up and take notice!

15 Sep 2019 22:01:05
Anyone still believe Grabban is lazy and can't be bothered?

bsered

1.) 15 Sep 2019 22:10:07
Only real problem I have with grabban is the amount of times he gets caught offside in a way pity we don't have britt but I'd consider bring tyler back just my opinion.

2.) 16 Sep 2019 17:26:20
Not after the 1st 2 n half games as since then he’s been amazing think he’s been told by the manager he’s got to do the dirty work, I’m more worried that he’s our only forward.

3.) 16 Sep 2019 22:32:30
I think the fact that Grab an ran 60 yards in warm weather in the 85 th minute after being the line frontman to set up the winner answers any criticism of his level of commitment!

4.) 16 Sep 2019 23:46:55
That gets a big thumbs up from me stoked.
stokey.
Anyone who was actually there and watched the whole match would have appreciated just how good we were.
The stats say possession was Swansea but we controlled the game were it mattered in the final third with samba being a virtual spectator all game.
It's going to be a good season.

14 Sep 2019 16:56:01
Brilliant game by all the lads and a brilliant win. Top six here we come!

1.) 14 Sep 2019 17:43:07
Players were all fantastic. Credit needs to go to Lamouchi - he made some brave decisions and they worked a treat. What a result! Now we need to show that we can maintain that level of performance against the smaller teams. If we do, we're serious contenders. We done lads, well done Lamouchi! COME ON YOU REDS!

14 Sep 2019 14:19:16
So looks like Cash and Riberio are wingbacks, but for me it should be Bostock in not Watson. Dropping Lolleyis a risk.

10 Sep 2019 20:36:03
Bye bye Muric, not all his fault but he looks pretty poor and keeps making either placement or distribution errors.

bsered

1.) 10 Sep 2019 20:41:54
Not all but at least 2.

2.) 10 Sep 2019 20:44:37
He’s a flapper.

3.) 10 Sep 2019 20:53:43
Muruc may become a very good keeper but at the mo he is not what we need.
We need a shot stopping cross gathering defence organiser. A presence behind the back four and in Samba that is what we have.
Distribution is important ofcourse but it shouldn't be number one at our level. Unfortunately we aren't quite as good as Man City. YET!

4.) 10 Sep 2019 21:25:14
We now have a very good goalkeeper in samba who commands his area by coming for everything, very agile and makes great saves and has no problem with his distribution, so muric won't play.

Dont care what anyone says he cost us against WBA and the second you can call it what you like, a fluke yes because it was meant to be a cross, but he was back tracking and flapping wind and his position was all wrong, let him go learn his trade somewhere else we don't need a rookie keeper.

5.) 11 Sep 2019 00:30:31
1st goal against West Brom, he's completely culpable, 2nd goal, fluke from the side line and think it's unfair to beat him with that one. Cost us a point for sure though.

As Gazz says, I think he will be a decent keeper eventually but 100% not what we need at the min, send him back, Samba looks mustard right now. Fair play on saving the pen tonight though.

England top attacking but need to sort the back out, Worral and Dawson would have had it nailed:)

6.) 11 Sep 2019 07:57:08
Give the guy a break he played against a much stronger opposition than we will.

7.) 11 Sep 2019 14:13:53
Redman. Agree it was stronger opposition but we have all been saying the same thing about him for weeks.
We all wanted him to succeed but unfortunately he has fallen well short.

8.) 11 Sep 2019 22:13:37
No Redman he's not good enough pants and Smith are better he'd be fourth choice for me behind pants and Smith for a place on the bench.
Think man city might recall him due to lack of games as he isn't going to get a sniff of replacing samba.

9.) 12 Sep 2019 11:24:11
He kept us in the game against Charlton.

I agree, he's not what we need right now, but I do believe he will become a top tier keeper in the coming years.

Some of the posts about his recent performances have been really harsh imo.

On the day Brum were very poor. This is the Championship, anyone can beat anyone. Having said that, charlton appeared to boss us in midfield and a hole opened up for them on our left in the first half. To me Semedo Sow and Bostock with Silva or Carvalho should be our midfield. We have been lucky so far whereas in previous years we had no luck at all. Fulham will tell us how far behind the top 6 we still are.

Sabri will inevitably make mistakes - Sow is a real scrapper and should always start, Bostock can do better than Watson and will create more. Silva still hasn't got it yet, and Semedo needs using in a particular way as box to box man. Thankful we have Samba and Adomah. The manager needs to know that teams will come to the City ground and park several buses on the pitch to stop us playing - something he is not used to, but we are 9th at present and I'm sure we can get further up the table, if Carvalho gets fired up and Yates comes back. Glass still half-full.
