Evtimov gone to Burton Albion(cue silly jokes about gone for a burton etc.) I for one wish him well and hope he does well: one mistake and he was seen as sub-standard, so I hope he can revive his fortunes.

1.) 14 Sep 2018 15:54:54
Dougie chucked him under a bus, but 7 years now & he's still as low as it gets in the pecking order.

I hope he does well, the best scenario for us & the player is he comes off our books for good.

2.) 14 Sep 2018 17:20:26
Well that takes the "Biscuit" Bsered!!!
Well you asked for it!!!

3.) 14 Sep 2018 19:35:50
May be he,s got a manager who,ll get the best out of him now!

4.) 16 Sep 2018 08:26:01
At yeast it’s still local.

04 Sep 2018 15:40:50
I didn't realise Evtimov's contract had been terminated. Josef Hefele, the big man's brother, has joined the U23's on loan.

13 Aug 2018 09:51:43
Kapino injured in training: out for 3 months. Just saying.

1.) 13 Aug 2018 10:26:43
He’s moved to Werder Bremen

2.) 13 Aug 2018 10:46:12
Who cares? Not our problem

3.) 13 Aug 2018 10:59:08
I know.

10 Aug 2018 16:45:38
According to Paul Taylor at The Post, Byram was at the ground all yesterday and wanted to sign, but West Ham want a sale not a loan, so unless there is movement on both sides it might not happen.

1.) 10 Aug 2018 16:55:03
He's there 3rd voice right back. How much is he worth bearing in mind he's had a few injurys aswel.
I'd say 2m tops

2.) 10 Aug 2018 17:12:50
It's looking like a loan with option to buy.

3.) 10 Aug 2018 20:06:19
Sgetty if it is a loan then it won't be an option to buy but buy at the end of the loan period if WHU want a sale.

4.) 10 Aug 2018 20:38:30
I know that Red_Dog. I should have worded my post a bit better.I don't like to be ambiguous as a rule.

5.) 10 Aug 2018 20:41:52
I'm guessing they won't his contract running down and then going for next to nothing, loan till Jan then buy if he does ok would suit both clubs imo as with his injuries he is a risk for any club

6.) 10 Aug 2018 22:27:57
Sgetty not a problem fellow Tricky Tree although there is no mention of buying him on the WWW :)

08 Aug 2018 19:17:42
Byram joining on a year long loan according to the Currant Bun?

1.) 08 Aug 2018 22:32:46
The alleged newspaper reported this 6 weeks ago.

2.) 09 Aug 2018 08:30:34
It’s transfer deadline day and for a change there is absolutely no need to be on here! The bulk of our business was done weeks ago with the new signings even getting some minutes under their belts. Feels good watching our club conducting business in the proper manner.

3.) 09 Aug 2018 09:12:53
I must admit Binns I would like to see right back strengthened. I think we'd then be ready for any eventuality.

Team very predictable. I think the pressure is on Geddy; if he doesn't play well today, he may like Watson, find himself sidelined.

1.) 10 Nov 2018 17:18:58
Your right very predictable oh well still in top 6

03 Nov 2018 20:59:18
I guess I'll get murdered on here for this, but the weakness if there is one still seems to me to be Guediora. I kept a record of most of the times he was mentioned in the commentary. First 10 mins Carvalho and Guediora kept giving the ball away. 14 mins Geddy fouls Fleck. 19 mins Gueddy passes well astray. 24 mins Gued loses ball again. 28 mins Gued poor pass again gifts possession. 44 mins Gued poor pass across the field. 45 Mins Gued poor pass out of play. 50 mins Gued pumps ball upfield when he doesn't have to, plenty to pass to. 53 mins Gued plays ball behind Cash despite having oceans of time. 58 mins Gued has ball taken off him easily. 59 mins Gued shoots well over bar. 60 mins Gued overhits pass during attack - it breaks down. 74 mins Gued poor pass ball goes out. 84 mins Gued loses ball in their area 85 mins Gued passes ball too far forward. 88 mins Gued fails to see Grabban carries on and gets a free kick. 89 mins Gued puts ball out instead of to a Forest player in space. Maybe I'm wrong and he played well, but it didn't feel like it from the commentary I heard, perhaps people who were there can put me right.
I guess we are using him because he can help the younger players, but to my mind we need a creative midfielder who can pick out proper passes, Osborn for instance.
If Sheffield United are a top of the League
Team with the old codgers they had up front today, then my guess is any team can win this league.
Our lads played well, defended well and got the win we needed, so I'm really pleased.

1.) 03 Nov 2018 22:16:06
Save your scapegoats for the draws and defeats bsered 😉

2.) 03 Nov 2018 22:27:21
Thing is with the radio is you don’t see who is closing him down or what position they were in when receiving the ball and wheather it was a good pass to him in the first place.also doesn’t show what type of pass he was trying.

3.) 04 Nov 2018 07:23:45
Best advice I can give is cone to the game mate. I genuinely thought about not going yesterday but really glad I did . Ps AG didn’t have his best game and did give the ball away a lot

4.) 04 Nov 2018 08:56:52
In my attempt to stand up for Pep I'll suggest that maybe sometimes he gives the ball away because he doesn't just play the 5 yard sideways pass that our other midfielders are so good at.

5.) 04 Nov 2018 09:04:49
For sure perks. His bar is set high because on his day those passes you mention he usually pulls off. When he has an off day he doesn’t . You’re absolutely right though most don’t even try what AG does. And more imply- he’d die for the cause - fantastic player. Ps Dawson was like some kind of warrior yesterday I’d play him every week , Figueiredo will learn loads playing alongside

6.) 04 Nov 2018 09:23:49
Your right perks he does try a little to hard at times trying to find that perfect pass when an easier pass is on.

7.) 04 Nov 2018 11:16:01
Not lost a game with Guedioura in the team this season, all 12 of them (W5, D7). But let's drop him because he sounds bad on the radio.

Football fans are brilliant.

8.) 04 Nov 2018 12:39:06
Jeez, I think you need a hobby bsered.

Well done Forest, great 3 points in a hard fought and close game, moving on up.

03 Nov 2018 16:06:53
Listening closely to the commentary at half-time it feels as though Carvalho is having a mixed game, but Guediora has hardly done anything right at all. Yacob seems to be going ok, but no real creative threat from Forest so far. Dias might come on for Cash second half.

1.) 03 Nov 2018 16:54:13
Another assist from that useless Portuguese lad, finished off by that other lad who can't score. Grabnone.

Karanka out.

2.) 03 Nov 2018 17:01:39
Superb lads!!! "Bloody" well done!!!!

3.) 03 Nov 2018 17:04:22
Sack the manager, tactics all wrong.
Send all the Portuguese home, too lightweight.
Drop Dawson, a donkey.

4.) 03 Nov 2018 17:31:43
Walker scoring in league two get him back, loads better than grabnone.warbo got Murphy in and he’s better than
We would be level with top if the officials did there jobs properly against Leeds.

5.) 03 Nov 2018 18:25:37
To be fair up till that point carvallhio was a total passenger

6.) 03 Nov 2018 19:37:30
Think anyone who thinks carvallhio had a good game couldn’t have been there a couple of poor pointless flicks but fair play had a hand in the goal does this really justify some of the gloating on here don’t think so

31 Oct 2018 17:22:39
I warned some time before the game with Burton that we still had problems and that selection would probably be the key. It was. Both Janko and Osborn looked ill at ease. Heff and Dawson were outrun by skippy strikers who just ran past them, and no-one in midfield seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing. Dias and Goncalves ran at the opposition but failed to do anything at the end of each run, and Cash for all his effort made no impression. The team looked stilted and out-of-sorts with each other.
Sheffiled United might well give us a drubbing - our Key defender Fox is out and that leaves Figgy and Dawson our only options, though Darikwa and Robinson will be back.We will have Colback again, but he needs a creative midfielder besides Osborn to work with, and for me Guediora does not cut it any more. We might have Murphy back to add some strength up front.
I feel we are missing out on using some of our U21 talent: Edser, Yates, Worrall, and Appiah/Gomis all deserve game time, but AK is unlikely to drop Carvahlo, Dias and Goncalves, none of who will set this league alight.
The Owner's "PepTalk" if as reported seems misplaced to me: no-one will take this team up in one season, it's a much longer job.
Having said all of that this is a strange old League - anyone can beat anyone else.
No point in moaning all the time. A top Ten finish is still possible and there are flashes of really good football here and there.
One or two or three bad results were always likely, but to expect to go up this year and then blame the players when it doesn't look likely is not supporting them or the club.
The eleven who were put out against Burton had a chance and many fluffed it, it happens, get over it ,move on.
No doubt we might see the same procedures when we start the FA Cup matches. I can't see any changes coming in January. It is what it is.

1.) 31 Oct 2018 17:51:03
When players do not know their role in the team that is either down to the manager and his team not instructing them properly or a lack of intelligence on the players behalf.

When a manager continues to play players when not playing well is not a good thing, he should just bring them off the bench until they show improvement.

The team looked stilted and out of sorts because of all the changes as well as Nigel getting his tactics spot on.

What gets on people's nerves is the team only showing up for the teams that are in the top quarter of the table, and that have spent big.

2.) 31 Oct 2018 18:47:46
You have it all wrong.
The top sides play football so Forest can compete with that, in a fight I am not sure they are up for it, apart from Colback of course.
That has never changed and never will if we want a footballing side.

3.) 31 Oct 2018 20:36:32
You make a very good point, but with the amount of players AK has brought in why has he not brought in enough players which are up for a fight. It is no good having players that are not up for a fight, and can only win against the few footballing teams that exist.

4.) 31 Oct 2018 20:41:48
Bsered, interesting how you rate Guedioura. Personally I think he makes us tick and seem a better team when he's in the side

5.) 31 Oct 2018 21:28:36
I never thought much to him first time around, lively but poor at passing and gave lots of free kicks away near the box. He's now slower, but often fails to control the ball and pick the right pass. He's not the Reid-type player we needed as a midfield General, played well in first few games but now found out too often.

30 Oct 2018 19:19:58
Yacob and Appiah have only made the bench tonight again.

1.) 30 Oct 2018 19:29:26
How many times will they make the bench tonight? 🤣

2.) 30 Oct 2018 19:42:42
Appiah played 79 minutes for the under 23’s last night so no surprise there really.

We have cover at right back - Yanko and Cash can play there, it's a young fast and reliable left back we need to understudy Robinson.

I'm especially pleased for Smithy. If he could improve his distribution and saving crosses, he would be our second in line in my opinion.

Where are Yates and Velios? Ariyibi still with us no chance of a game. Can't see Goncalves or Tachaditis getting much game time. But if the owner wants Premier status we will have to have a lot more talent in the side both to get there and stay there?

He's a six-footer so might help us in the box, problem is can he hold the ball up, has he any pace, can he play the role of lone striker?(Lone Ranger?)

It feels like FIFA, EUFA, FA, are all corrupt organisations, not connected with fans only with their own money-making out of the fans. Like BC once said "There are a lot of dirty corners need clearing out there" (or something like that!)

I'm not sure about it being a negative home performance or that we threw 2 points away. I'd rather think that it's taking some time for the team to settle and gel. We have now a very good defence and Pants made two really good saves as did their goalie.
I agree that we need another left back in case Robbo is out for any reason, and we have to be patient with Carvalho and Dias who are good players but need more luck on the ball. For me Goncalves just hasn't got it.
I also agree we need a creative midfielder as well as Carvalho and to me that person, presently being ignored is Osborn.
If Yacob cements his place I think Watson will only be a back up for him and Colback.
We are not yet the perfect team we want the Reds to be, but judging by the last 15 minutes of this game we are getting much closer, especially if we can keep Lolley and Cash fit.
