Ariyibi out on loan to Motherwell.

1.) 07 Jan 2019 21:17:49
It would seem that Karanka doesn't like Americans.

04 Dec 2018 13:22:56
It's all gone quiet on Dawson's injury. Anyone any information at all about it?

1.) 04 Dec 2018 13:37:45
As a general rule, Grade 1 hamstring strains should be rested from sporting activity for about three weeks and Grade 2 injuries for a minimum of four to eight weeks.

2.) 04 Dec 2018 13:38:01
So if it is a tear he won't play for 8 weeks

3.) 04 Dec 2018 13:53:41
Now we know why ak was on a downer on saturday he heard that jason cummins was on his way back !!

4.) 04 Dec 2018 17:24:10
I think Dawson has been unlucky throught his career with injuries. let's hope he is bsck on the field soon and making his final hoorah as captain leading forest back upafter a very long premiership absence

5.) 07 Dec 2018 13:25:23
I just read that Fox and Dawson"might" be available for the Derby match. If true then Dawson can't have torn his hamstring which is positive news.

28 Nov 2018 22:11:37
Hope Fox is fit for Saturday, the Heff not good enough for me.

1.) 28 Nov 2018 22:55:18
Neither is Fox.

24 Nov 2018 23:36:17
It seems a pity that the club doesn't give us extended highlights of the matches: all we get is the 1minute 17 seconds SKY put up on their site. I know you can pay Β£10 to see some matches, but i preferred seeing the highlights in some detail. I guess it's all about money and TV rights etc.

1.) 25 Nov 2018 06:43:02
I think extended are on iFollow on the website. They usually appear the day after.

2.) 26 Nov 2018 16:14:57
Yes they are, costs about a fiver a month to subscribe.

14 Sep 2018 15:37:25
Evtimov gone to Burton Albion(cue silly jokes about gone for a burton etc.) I for one wish him well and hope he does well: one mistake and he was seen as sub-standard, so I hope he can revive his fortunes.

1.) 14 Sep 2018 15:54:54
Dougie chucked him under a bus, but 7 years now & he's still as low as it gets in the pecking order.

I hope he does well, the best scenario for us & the player is he comes off our books for good.

2.) 14 Sep 2018 17:20:26
Well that takes the "Biscuit" Bsered!!!
Well you asked for it!!!

3.) 14 Sep 2018 19:35:50
May be he,s got a manager who,ll get the best out of him now!

4.) 16 Sep 2018 08:26:01
At yeast it’s still local.

I see Fester fans think our new centre back is a little over the top in his tackling and likely to get lots of yellow or red cards. He looks like someone who will leave his mark on a lot of opposition strikers alright, but we need some tall tough blokes at the back - it's what BC had after all. WBA fans also said Yacob was uncompromising, but he's turned out to be a godsend. We need a ring of Steel(e) at the back to allow our midfield to thrive!

1.) 18 Jan 2019 13:48:46
Unlike me. I had a ring of fire this morning. Vindaloo is never a good choice for your rusty sheriffs badge πŸ˜‚

2.) 18 Jan 2019 14:16:34
Did the twelve pints of Guinness play a part Roystone?

3.) 18 Jan 2019 14:18:11
Hope you didn't fall into that burning ring of fire , cause it burns , burns , burns , that ring of fire , ouch .

4.) 18 Jan 2019 14:27:44
As long as you didn't beat the flames out with your a Forest programme!!!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

5.) 18 Jan 2019 14:39:52
Rogie. Talking about putting flames out with your programme.
Years ago i was at a Panthers match. When you could still smoke indoors. The bloke in front was smoking and my mate tried to put it out with the corner of his football post.
The thing went up in flames. Bloody hilarious.

6.) 18 Jan 2019 14:52:31
Nothing like a good ring of fire in this bittingly cold snap ,heated seats for the match πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

7.) 18 Jan 2019 14:57:47
Me and my mate were in a small office in work one day. for a laugh he decided to set fire to a notice which was pinned onto the wall. it slipped off,and landed in the waste paper bin!!!
Then he tried to stamp it out!!!
Only for his foot got stuck in the bin!!!
So there he was hopping around the place trying to get it off!!!
Pure slapstick!!!

8.) 18 Jan 2019 16:01:33
Remember years ago rogie and we were fitting central heating in houses and my mate shouted, throw me the wire wool,so I did and it landed on the battery that supplied the door bell, burst into flames,he panicked picked it up and ran through the house and out the back door, burning the carpets on his way,had to use the tears from laughing to put out the fire.🀣🀣

9.) 18 Jan 2019 16:15:56
I actually laughed out loud at that!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

10.) 18 Jan 2019 17:21:10
Also created a steam room for my work mates once as well, they had put me on a tower scaffold drilled holes in the wall were my hands neck and feet were, bolted me to the wall with Munson rings and went to the pub for two hours as I was getting married.
Ha very funny.
I decided it was time to deal out some retribution,so peed in a bucket for a few days made the tea for all of them, licked the cabin door behind them and climbed on the roof and poured the bucket of pee down the chimney onto the coalburner below,I've never seen a wood hut come apart like that before or since🀣🀣🀣

Benalouane is on an 18month contract, same as MON - coincidence?

1.) 18 Jan 2019 14:30:07
Complete coincidence bse.

2.) 18 Jan 2019 15:10:53
It's no coincidence, it's blatantly obvious they're a couple and will sail off into the sunset together in the Summer of 2020.

15 Jan 2019 07:29:04
Still nothing on the Club Website. What use is it?

14 Jan 2019 14:08:16
The guardian Reports:
" Karanka’s fall-out with senior figures at the club led to him asking to be released from his contract on two separate occasions last week. For the previous few weeks, players have reported he had become detached and was taking a less hands-on role. Training is said to have deteriorated, leading to a listless 2-0 defeat at second-from-bottom Reading on Saturday, when Forest finished with nine men because of red cards for Danny Fox and Tendayi Darikwa."
There are some details there we didn't know about!

1.) 14 Jan 2019 14:24:37
If there is any truth in thi s then he has done is all a favour. Not the behaviour of a grown man, never mind a football manager!

2.) 14 Jan 2019 15:00:23
Pretty much what I'd been told by one of European heroes on saturday he didn't go onto detail but said he'd been causing trouble.

3.) 14 Jan 2019 15:52:47
If Krankie had be causing problems then we are better off without a troublesome manager.
I would if his brother is still here?
Senor David Karanka your taxi awaits.

13 Jan 2019 16:32:32
Unless players are bought pretty quickly we face a problem in defence especially if Figgy is not available.
Best options seem to be
Steele (they'll pick Pants)
Janko Yacob Robinson Osborn
Cash Yates(Guediora past it) Colback Lolley
Grabban (Appiah second half)
I don't think they'll use Watson. Edser is a creative midfielder but they will ignore him.

That would be because he's an Irish International chosen by MON to play for the national side. He knows the player, and what the lad can do, begorrah.

Anel, I believe, has played for his country internationally, but I don't recall him being outstanding in any way. Putting him in the centre means he will need an awful lot of advice because of his lack of experience and against a team like Bristol that would be a big mistake. Most likely Yacob will have to play there again because he knows how to position himself and is a good tackler - that always brings confidence to those around him.

When you really think about it, aren't all three Portuguese lads the same kind of player? They have speed and quick feet but no idea how to tackle and drop back to help their defence. Carvalho is the exception because he has a good brain and eyes for a killer pass, but both he and Goncalves are easily nudged off the ball. Seems to me we need people like Bridcutt and Yates in midfield along with Colback/Yacob/Osborn, but I wonder if MON will see things differently?

We already have a good strong box to box midfielder, he's called Yates we don't need any more. I'd prefer Bridcutt to Guediora any day.

Fox, Pants, Osborn, Darikwa have all come in for a bashing on this site. I expect MON will still want to get the very best out of them and will want them to use different methods and tactics to AK. Let's see how many complain then.

We've been moaning about not having an imposing centre back, and when we get one people say. . . At least Martin can make sure the back four are safe, and that releases Yacob into midfield where he should be.
I guess there will be more surprises to come. Has Anigo played any part in this I wonder?

From what I saw of him taking the training session he was mostly chatting to a blonde girlie beside him.

Age and experience do count, but so does being able to motivate players and getting the right balance in the team - I can't see any manager being better than MON at these things, and he is obviously up for the challenge. AK never ever seemed to get very excited by much, probably because he is that type of bloke, MON can show more emotion but also combines it with Reason.
This will probably be EM's last throw of the dice, and if it fails he'll walk away, so there is a lot riding on this appointment. Let's just hope he realises it's a two-season job.
