when gods teacher was the manager of forest he had his own mind and bought players in with attitude. i think that's where warbs is lacking. i do think he s a good manager but he over thinks the squad.

1.) 07 Aug 2017 10:23:40
What a joke it was our first competitive game of the season (and arm chair managers are telling the pros what should be done) we are going to learn a lot about this forest squad this season our strengths and weakness but its game one. Already people are slating the way we play let's not get our backs up yet and back our lads like real fans should. Yes we was lucky to take the win but how many games last season did that luck go the other way. I for one am looking forward to this season and can not wait to see we're we are at the end of the season. Only time will tell.

ebicilio has gone.

1.) 01 Feb 2016 19:32:08
Gooo on Doughie!

Wasn't he awful. Only time I can remember seeing a new player Play two games and last about 20 mins total after being subbed on and straight back off. lol

Someone had our pants down there. Reckon he'd been stacking shelfs in Aldi because he ain't never seen no footballs.

2.) 01 Feb 2016 19:54:57
He made Forest Gumps running style look graceful! Lol!

3.) 01 Feb 2016 19:59:22
3 hours to get someone in. Big ask.

4.) 01 Feb 2016 20:33:37
Seems we're still going to be paying some of his wages so won't be getting either of the strikers that were lined up, if anything happens i'll expect in be in a few weeks time when loan window opens.

5.) 01 Feb 2016 20:50:15
Deal currently being discussed to bring Crouch in on loan till end of the season with club paying part of his wages. currently up to Crouch but looks promising.

6.) 01 Feb 2016 21:04:58
Please No.

7.) 01 Feb 2016 21:41:26
Crouch would be a great signing can't see it happening tho.

8.) 02 Feb 2016 11:26:11
Pity he couldn't get rid of Blackstock, Wilson, Fox and Fryatt on the same plane :-)

01 Mar 2015 19:09:10
is tesche being loaned out as anybody heard owt.

1.) 02 Mar 2015 12:06:05
There is a rumour down here in Birmingham that he's heading to the noses for the rest of the season.

2.) 02 Mar 2015 14:06:56
He's gone to Brum for the rest of the season. On official website.

3.) 02 Mar 2015 14:27:26
Gone to Birmingham for the rest of the season. If you ask me a bit stupid. A really fine and hard working player. Ed, have you heard why, have something happen behind the scenes?

{Ed001's Note - he wasn't getting in the team so a loan was best for all. Freedman wasn't intending to use him.}

4.) 02 Mar 2015 14:41:20
Teache gone to Birmingham

5.) 02 Mar 2015 15:30:58
Reckon Veldwijk and Paterson due to be loaned out. Could we then get someone in? Might as well give play-offs our best shot. Wood now at Ipswich so not sure who might arrive.

6.) 05 Mar 2015 11:37:14
He set up the winning goal for Birmingham. The first bad decision by Dougie?

08 Aug 2014 08:20:47
chalobah to burnley? will that keep em away from hL

1.) Doubt it he's not in the same league as our henri!

{Ed034's Note - correct, he is in the premier league lol

2.) I fear not reading Alan nixon Claus if they stump up fee of 4m up front guaranteed he will go.

3.) 08 Aug 2014 09:46:38
I am afraid not a good friend who is part of the Burnley set up has emailed me this morning saying they are coming after him again.

4.) Let's hope so eh? Roll on September the 1st! Lol
I think Henri knows this is our season and knows we'll pass Burnley on the way up. . premier league or not Nottingham Forest to Burnley is a backwards step!
Henri stick with us kid you'll be all right

5.) Henri has a choice, go to Burnley for a bit more money and play some PL footy for one season or remain here, get promoted and stay in the PL for the rest of his career?

{Ed034's Note - one good season inside the premier league with burnley, who are not guaranteed to get relegated and he will be in the prem the rest of his career.
by signing for Burnley he has more chance of being a Prem player come this time next season, than he has by staying with us. Like it or not, that is the truth

6.) 08 Aug 2014 11:17:40
Lansbury is a prem quality player, so you can't begrudge him wanting to go if Burnley come in for him. If he goes then it'll be one of two things that will happen: he'll make a name for himself with them and they stay in the prem for a extended period, or they'll come straight back down again. Either way he'll be alright as no doubt there will be - by then - plenty of other suitors out there who will have had a good look at his time in the prem. and snap him up.
It's not the be all and end all if Lansbury goes, as I think we are pretty much ok in midfield now, what with Antonio, Reidy, and even Cohen.

Looking forward to seeing how the new boys do on Saturday. I hope we tonk Blackpool off the park!

7.) 08 Aug 2014 13:04:48
I remember when Lansbury joined he said something like "sometimes you have to take a step back to take a step forward" or similiar. To me this sounds like someone who has ambition and wants to play at the highest level he can more than anything else.

Thus, it comes down to whether he views the Burnley option as a better stepping stone than staying with Forest for another year or so.

I agree with Ed that because Burnley are already in the PL playing there will be a better shop window for him. The chance Forest have got is to convince him that we're heading there too and that when we get there because we have a bigger fan base and Fawaz's backing he can fulfill all his ambitions with us.

8.) Is the decision up to HL & Burnley?
He has 2 years on his contract so the only decision surely has to be Forests?
If the offer is good enough or they need the money they will sell.
If they don't need to sell then perhaps get another year out of HL and see where Forest are then? If they are in a good position who knows he might stay if not then with it would be worth then surely they would need to consider cashing in. Whatever the case if HL gets in another good season, he could be looking to aim higher (no disrespect) than Burnley.

{Ed034's Note - we all know its lansburys decision, regardless of him being under a contract

9.) Great player if he's fully committed, wouldn't advise keeping him against his will.

10.) 08 Aug 2014 17:22:02
Would love him to stay and give us till January, then access his options.

11.) He sees nottingham as being a little to small as a city so why would he go to burnley if he leaves it won't be there it will be back down south

we played a team and manager yesterday who not long ago were under massive pressure from there own fans they have turned things around and the same fans have gone quiet. i just hope our board give warbs and the team a chance because i don't think i could stand another 5 years of changing managers like we had before.

11 Sep 2017 15:18:25
we have played 6 games in the league won 3 lost 3. the comments made about them 6 games have questioned some players ability. now because that's not worked out the comments are drifting towards the backroom staff it remains to be seen who"s next. just remember fellow red dogs what we had was bad now we"ve got a lifeline don't throw it away give it a chance.

1.) 11 Sep 2017 20:15:07
It went to the wire on the last gamecof the season. Very much mike bassett style. The frailties are very much still there kn the playing front so its ac it patronising some of the critiscism of the negative posts. We are not learning that's the problem!!!!

05 Aug 2017 11:26:11
we need a stopper in front of the back four/ three with the heart of keane or psycho and a big mouth on him. that's where the leader needs to be and its part of the spine of the team.

1.) 05 Aug 2017 13:13:44
Totally agree there!

2.) 05 Aug 2017 13:52:53
To be fair Millwall were a very big tall side. Worrall did very well, Mills never won a header when he came on.
Millwall did their home work and closed us down well when trying to play out of defence. Some players just not comfortable on the ball, Smith, Traore, in particular.
McKay, Everton lad, Darikwa and Vaughan looked very good.
Brereton and Murphy struggled.
Team looked nervous and far too many stray passes for the killer pass when in good position.
However, showed resilience and kept their nerve, so that's a positive as are the 3 points.

29 Jul 2017 14:18:13
looks like 4 4 2 today to start with.

04 Jul 2017 14:41:29
8 mill is pathetic.

1.) 04 Jul 2017 14:50:02
Agreed, 15 mil at the very least for our star man! Ideally 20mil+ but can't see anyone paying that 15mil would be good for someone who hasn't played lots of football over last 18 months despite his excellent scoring record.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 15:03:15
the manager who said he wants to keep our best
players invited offers for britt simply by saying
every player has his price, (on purpose in my opinion) he knew what he was saying and now
we have teams ( because it won't just be burnley) starting to
bid for britt and now the saga will drag on and he, the
manager, could have simply said no he is not for sale for any price full stop. I am sorry to say this but do not be surprised if the club sell him.

3.) 04 Jul 2017 15:08:40
We should be trying to keep Britt if we want to climb the table, having said that I think he will go. MW comments last week all but said so.8 million is a jokešŸ¤£Double it and start talking then, otherwise tell them to jog on! Oh and put a sell on clause in any deal because if he stays fit he will get goals anywhere.
