when gods teacher was the manager of forest he had his own mind and bought players in with attitude. i think that's where warbs is lacking. i do think he s a good manager but he over thinks the squad.

What a joke it was our first competitive game of the season (and arm chair managers are telling the pros what should be done) we are going to learn a lot about this forest squad this season our strengths and weakness but its game one. Already people are slating the way we play let's not get our backs up yet and back our lads like real fans should. Yes we was lucky to take the win but how many games last season did that luck go the other way. I for one am looking forward to this season and can not wait to see we're we are at the end of the season. Only time will tell.

ebicilio has gone.

chopsy

1.) 01 Feb 2016 19:32:08
Gooo on Doughie!

Wasn't he awful. Only time I can remember seeing a new player Play two games and last about 20 mins total after being subbed on and straight back off. lol

Someone had our pants down there. Reckon he'd been stacking shelfs in Aldi because he ain't never seen no footballs.

2.) 01 Feb 2016 19:54:57
He made Forest Gumps running style look graceful! Lol!

3.) 01 Feb 2016 19:59:22
3 hours to get someone in. Big ask.

4.) 01 Feb 2016 20:33:37
Seems we're still going to be paying some of his wages so won't be getting either of the strikers that were lined up, if anything happens i'll expect in be in a few weeks time when loan window opens.

5.) 01 Feb 2016 20:50:15
Deal currently being discussed to bring Crouch in on loan till end of the season with club paying part of his wages. currently up to Crouch but looks promising.

6.) 01 Feb 2016 21:04:58
Please No.

7.) 01 Feb 2016 21:41:26
Crouch would be a great signing can't see it happening tho.

8.) 02 Feb 2016 11:26:11
Pity he couldn't get rid of Blackstock, Wilson, Fox and Fryatt on the same plane :-)

01 Mar 2015 19:09:10
is tesche being loaned out as anybody heard owt.

chopsy

1.) 02 Mar 2015 12:06:05
There is a rumour down here in Birmingham that he's heading to the noses for the rest of the season.

2.) 02 Mar 2015 14:06:56
He's gone to Brum for the rest of the season. On official website.

3.) 02 Mar 2015 14:27:26
Gone to Birmingham for the rest of the season. If you ask me a bit stupid. A really fine and hard working player. Ed, have you heard why, have something happen behind the scenes?

{Ed001's Note - he wasn't getting in the team so a loan was best for all. Freedman wasn't intending to use him.}

4.) 02 Mar 2015 14:41:20
Teache gone to Birmingham

5.) 02 Mar 2015 15:30:58
Reckon Veldwijk and Paterson due to be loaned out. Could we then get someone in? Might as well give play-offs our best shot. Wood now at Ipswich so not sure who might arrive.

6.) 05 Mar 2015 11:37:14
He set up the winning goal for Birmingham. The first bad decision by Dougie?

08 Aug 2014 08:20:47
chalobah to burnley? will that keep em away from hL

chopsy

1.) Doubt it he's not in the same league as our henri!

{Ed034's Note - correct, he is in the premier league lol

2.) I fear not reading Alan nixon Claus if they stump up fee of 4m up front guaranteed he will go.

3.) 08 Aug 2014 09:46:38
I am afraid not a good friend who is part of the Burnley set up has emailed me this morning saying they are coming after him again.

4.) Let's hope so eh? Roll on September the 1st! Lol
I think Henri knows this is our season and knows we'll pass Burnley on the way up. . premier league or not Nottingham Forest to Burnley is a backwards step!
Henri stick with us kid you'll be all right
FTID

5.) Henri has a choice, go to Burnley for a bit more money and play some PL footy for one season or remain here, get promoted and stay in the PL for the rest of his career?

{Ed034's Note - one good season inside the premier league with burnley, who are not guaranteed to get relegated and he will be in the prem the rest of his career.
by signing for Burnley he has more chance of being a Prem player come this time next season, than he has by staying with us. Like it or not, that is the truth

6.) 08 Aug 2014 11:17:40
Lansbury is a prem quality player, so you can't begrudge him wanting to go if Burnley come in for him. If he goes then it'll be one of two things that will happen: he'll make a name for himself with them and they stay in the prem for a extended period, or they'll come straight back down again. Either way he'll be alright as no doubt there will be - by then - plenty of other suitors out there who will have had a good look at his time in the prem. and snap him up.
It's not the be all and end all if Lansbury goes, as I think we are pretty much ok in midfield now, what with Antonio, Reidy, and even Cohen.

Looking forward to seeing how the new boys do on Saturday. I hope we tonk Blackpool off the park!

7.) 08 Aug 2014 13:04:48
I remember when Lansbury joined he said something like "sometimes you have to take a step back to take a step forward" or similiar. To me this sounds like someone who has ambition and wants to play at the highest level he can more than anything else.

Thus, it comes down to whether he views the Burnley option as a better stepping stone than staying with Forest for another year or so.

I agree with Ed that because Burnley are already in the PL playing there will be a better shop window for him. The chance Forest have got is to convince him that we're heading there too and that when we get there because we have a bigger fan base and Fawaz's backing he can fulfill all his ambitions with us.

8.) Is the decision up to HL & Burnley?
He has 2 years on his contract so the only decision surely has to be Forests?
If the offer is good enough or they need the money they will sell.
If they don't need to sell then perhaps get another year out of HL and see where Forest are then? If they are in a good position who knows he might stay if not then with it would be worth then surely they would need to consider cashing in. Whatever the case if HL gets in another good season, he could be looking to aim higher (no disrespect) than Burnley.

{Ed034's Note - we all know its lansburys decision, regardless of him being under a contract

9.) Great player if he's fully committed, wouldn't advise keeping him against his will.

10.) 08 Aug 2014 17:22:02
Would love him to stay and give us till January, then access his options.

11.) He sees nottingham as being a little to small as a city so why would he go to burnley if he leaves it won't be there it will be back down south

first warburton throws the dummys out the pram then his director dad walks out because he can't buy dodgy players now one of his signings looks on football manager and see s he s only worth 25p and a pickled egg and throws a wobbly we are going to suffer this fawaz / montanier / warburton rubbish for a long time.

chopsy

1.) 10 Sep 2018 18:54:39
Hooray.karanka as said grabban will be fully fit for Swansea I'm so excited 🙄👆the chosen one as his top scorer fit😁

2.) 10 Sep 2018 19:05:02

3.) 10 Sep 2018 19:15:58
so has freeman what's ya thoughts on ffb s comment skegjay

4.) 10 Sep 2018 19:23:07
but fbb his dodgy stuff remains which hurts the club and puts the club in the news for the wrong reasons ( think about it )

5.) 10 Sep 2018 19:58:01
To be honest chops I don't give a damn about freedman Warburton Davies uncle Bulgaria wally with the brolly etc etc I do care about the bad things that have made our club look bad but that's all history now we have a lot of good people in place at this club now and in that department I'm happy as for the manager he has shown me a couple of glimpses of what he can do with a team and just as you think he's there the next game he changes everything and we look crap to inconsistent to pig headed to defensive players don't know where they stand with him they play really well then they are benched the next game squad to big no striker in that is able to play the lone striker role defence still crap at set pieces and the man as spent more than any other manager at forest and a fortune on some players that look crap 3 games at the most to change it round if it was me he would be gone now with big Sam on the sidelines to replace him 😁

6.) 10 Sep 2018 20:18:10
Enlighten us chopsey with "The dodgy stuff" What dodgy stuff has been done go bought our club??
Come on spill can't wait to see it.lol

7.) 10 Sep 2018 20:44:45
Lol ! Uncle Bulgaria 😂
All is well skeg Grabnone is fit - fear not old son!

8.) 10 Sep 2018 21:22:04
brentford got rid of warburton. rangers got rid ( of warburton and cummings ). we got rid of ( warburton and cummings ). and the player that warburton signed is throwing tellys at windows and you need to be enlightened ff799 ? you must be on the same pink gin as i'm drinking

9.) 10 Sep 2018 21:28:58
I know fit enough to run around up front by himself poor bloke bet he wished he'd never come here 20 goals last season and most of them at a crap club can't even get a whiff of one here it's time karanka started putting 2-3 up front this bloke can score proven fact onwards and upwards with widow twankie 😁

10.) 10 Sep 2018 21:30:42
Sorry chopsey didn't realise it was the crime of the century?
How can we hold our heads up again?
Your mate karanka will leave us "flat broke"the way he's going.🤣😋😋😋

11.) 10 Sep 2018 21:51:24
Yes just remind me 79 how much Cummings cost warbo and if he keeps scoring for Peterborough what he could be worth ets not forget how well that team know there strikers nd how much they sell them on for 😁

12.) 10 Sep 2018 21:53:17
Ff Some of the players performances have been flat, and some of the players break too easily. 🤣

13.) 10 Sep 2018 21:57:50
its nowt to do with karanka that one of warburtons signings has gone off on one but nevermind if warburtons not doing owt maybe he can mend his telly

14.) 10 Sep 2018 22:05:07
Yeh well make a profit on Cummings when we sell skeggs and we made a profit on McKay as well, plus he signed our top scorer Murphy and bridcutt who gets plauditsfrom karanka but not games, gave brereton a break into the first team with cash and Worrall,it was all bad skeggs.🤔🤔🤔🤔

15.) 10 Sep 2018 22:11:39
Warbo doesn't need to do anything chopsy he just waits for his monthly salary from nffc, only about another 18 payments to go?
Cummings is a Peterborough player this year so nothing to do with nffc and their chairman has dealt with it in house,so don't worry yourself unduly about things.

16.) 10 Sep 2018 22:15:17
is that the mckay that dissapeared at rangers and forest if it is the profit might just pay for the half time oranges

17.) 10 Sep 2018 22:16:50
No nothing to with Krankie. How many players has he signed. Or should I say how many midfielders has he signed?
Hmmmmm a stockpile I would say!
Pork chop get over Warburton. Live in the present not the past. It's OK to have a man crush we are in the 21st century.

18.) 10 Sep 2018 22:24:38
Well chopsey I'm going to Swansea on Saturday and got a feeling McKay will cause us big problems.

19.) 10 Sep 2018 22:45:32
I woudnt worry to much about what choosy says he's like grabban up front for forest a loner 😁

20.) 10 Sep 2018 22:55:39
so ff799 your in the moan before you ve got there then. can you enlighten us now who s fault it is so we don't have to read all the crap your going to come out with next week.

21.) 10 Sep 2018 23:10:05
Like I've said before chopsey I go and will support the team whoever he puts out,as I have no say in that.
I hope we win and he finds the right formula and we go on a long winning run and that I can congratulate karanka in victory,I will just tell it how it is on the day.

22.) 10 Sep 2018 23:13:52
Yes chopsy Cummings and Warbos and Montanirs uncle Bulgarias the linesman the tea lady the burger man the team mrankis me 79 2 star who ever else that gets paid top dollar for managing the team oh no that's down to one person widow twankie 😁

23.) 10 Sep 2018 23:34:45
spot on skegjay

24.) 10 Sep 2018 23:36:32
Skeg. There was a hombre named Krankie who wasn't to handy.
He picks his teams he make believes his hair is nice and spanky .
With his flashy suits and shoes to boot he's another look at me dandy.
His tactics are droll his players are old and at first he was everyone's fancy.

25.) 11 Sep 2018 00:26:58
i can't fault what you ve just said and totaly agree with it but when fans start having a go at the club I've supported all my life i will have a go back because some on here have started to act like children and picking at any little detail after just 8 games. i have seen the good times and bad times at forest from the asc to the present day. i sat in the trent end against birmingham at 2 0 down watching supporters walk out and call for karankas head but at 2 2 nothing said don't you think that's strange or is it just the ups and downs of football over 90mins . but the fans? that make my skin crawl are them that promote one manager then because he s had the chop have a go at the new manager just to justify there loss.

26.) 11 Sep 2018 05:35:06
Chopsy So you are saying Aitor does not deserve criticism ?

When a person believes a manager to be better than who Forest have employed for quite some time and hoping stability is going to happen based on a open letter from our beloved clubs new powers that be then it does not happen it is a bit disheartening.

Warburton did make mistakes, and the decline in results means there were grounds for sacking him, but was he given enough time ?, was he promised more time ? would he have turned things around ? We will never know.

What ever your thoughts on those and the man himself does not subtract from the fact the club did not give us stability that we were promised.

Once the club sacked Warburton they chased hard to get a manager that had got a club promoted to the Premier League, and backed him far more than they did Warburton, why was that ?

Since Aitor has joined our once great club be could not have asked for more, everything he has asked for he has gotten, and still getting.

Have we seen any games other than the glamorous ones where the team played with cohesion, with energy, with any idea what they are doing the answer to all of those is a big fat NO.

We have had to wait untill the team has gone behind before the players realised why they are on the pitch, it is great having players come off the bench and salvaging something from the game but it should not take that, or those subs to spark life into the team.

Aitor has deserved his criticism as far as i'm concerned, and untill he shows us he knows which is his best 11 is and the teams performances improve, and off course the results then he will rightly continue to to get criticism.

All some fans want is to see improvement in the team with the time and resources Aitor has been given. Is that asking for too much ?

27.) 11 Sep 2018 07:05:23
Chopsy were all forest fans I have been for forty years and fans on here longer I've gave him credit when he's deserved it which I think is twice in 26 games I'm not going to sit back and happy clap when I think the bloke isn't doing is job it's that simples

28.) 11 Sep 2018 07:29:02
Great post stags.
Chopsey it's only banter mate part of the reason fans walked out is because they are young and have been given a season card for peanuts and if the entertainment is bad they head for the pub.
No different to all those that leave with 15 mins to go just to try and beat the traffic every week.
Karanka needs to stop the talk now and get a settled side out and get the fans back behind him,he's starting to lose them, and only he can stop the critism by doing so.
He has the worst stats of any recent manager and has to change that quickly or he has to go.
That's football.

09 Sep 2018 18:15:58
my apologies to all the fans on here because when i said warburton hadnt got another job i didn't realise he was the one on the bike that said no more mr nice baby.

chopsy

1.) 09 Sep 2018 19:03:57
Not be that long before krankie joins him

😁

08 Sep 2018 11:33:33
i can't help wondering if something went off behind the scenes over the warburton sacking same as it did at rangers especially now he s done a king billy disappearing act.

chopsy

1.) 08 Sep 2018 11:50:58
I was told by a good source before warbos final game that frank mcparland had walked out after a massive row over transfer policy on the Friday before the game and posted so at the game.
Warbo was then sacked.

2.) 08 Sep 2018 12:46:44
ive been told by brentford and rangers fans that he keeps chucking the dummy out the pram thinking he was bigger than the club and that's why there s no taker for the baker.

3.) 08 Sep 2018 13:30:23
Karanka has been known to do that and was put on gardening leave at Boro,so their very similar then,

4.) 08 Sep 2018 14:52:28
It’s simple he told Marinakis he gave Marinakis a minter lamb sandwich on his thick white sliced variety - had it have been served in a pitta all would have been well but the rest is history. Let’s be honest would it matter who we got as manager ? Most of them in the last 20 years have been equally as poor and sacking Karanka will likely result in another manager who looks clueless. Perhaps we need to look deeper than the manager as even those who’ve done ok elsewhere come here and look totally clueless . All of these debates on here about warbo and Karanka amaze me smile. They are both totally clueless and may as well Just do one somewhere together and discuss being clueless . Someone said on here it was good football under warburton - get real, utterly dreadful football just like it is now under karanka , I would pay either in washers , perhaps they should team up and start a pizza dough manufacturing company because neither know much about producing entertaining football teams.

5.) 08 Sep 2018 15:07:42
i never mentioned karanka ? and don't you find it strange that after warburton got brentford into the top 6 they didn't want him and then with rangers he got promoted and low and behold they didn't want him either then he comes to forest and becomes our relagation saviour but really we all know it was smiths finger tips that saved us. so tell us ff799 skegjay fbb & carlo what is warburton saving now coins or stamps.

6.) 08 Sep 2018 15:27:16
Just a thought neither billy davies or the breadman have not found new jobs since leaving the trickies hmmm

7.) 08 Sep 2018 16:01:16
Choppy FYI I never rated Warburton in fact I was one of the worst offenders for calling him a charlatan etc. so for future reference get your facts correct before making statements!

8.) 08 Sep 2018 16:10:59
Pizza,s are Italian .
CARLO
Not much mention of the great Philip Montaiea who knew a bit -----about cheese

9.) 08 Sep 2018 16:20:53
Well Billy Davies must be some kind of magician to have got Forest anywhere near the top six as every other manager struggles to even get us competing . So what is it ? Every other manager isn’t fit to lace his boots or his coaching skills are massively under valued. All the recent years do is confirm the biggest mistake ever made at forest was sacking Billy in 2011, every appointment there after had been worse followed by worse followed by embarrassing!

10.) 08 Sep 2018 16:44:10
2star. maybe the forest job is cursed👻

11.) 08 Sep 2018 17:00:26
fbb it wasnt a statement it was a question because with all these fans slagging our managers off ( previous and present ) i thought i ll do that and see how much fun it is.

12.) 08 Sep 2018 17:16:26
2star davies was appointed after 2011

13.) 08 Sep 2018 17:34:26
Who cares about managers we’ve had choosy there has beens and so will the totally clueless Karanka be soon so onwards and upwards without all the has been clueless managers 🤪

14.) 08 Sep 2018 17:39:11
Of course you did chopsey.lol🤔🤔🤔

15.) 08 Sep 2018 17:52:30
Chopsy, I’m referring to his first stint which was 2009 - 11 mate, Mark Authur persuaded Doughty to fire Davies and quite frankly we’ve been a joke ever since.

16.) 08 Sep 2018 18:50:57
i agree 2 star but is changing manager the right approach because other teams seem to have had less managers less owners and increased attendances but all some of our fans do is moan and moan

17.) 08 Sep 2018 18:55:24
of course i did 799 ??

18.) 08 Sep 2018 18:59:59
No, I don’t think it is mate, we need to understand why no manager can get a tune out of any team at NFFC, everyone that comes here is woeful

19.) 08 Sep 2018 19:30:07
That's because the managers are over hyped as being good.take a look at the managers we've had track records are poor.
Only McLaren had any sort of a proven track record and that says it all.
The blame lies with the people who appointed them,if you want success you put the right manager in charge. We haven't done that since Billy.
If we bought big Sam in now we would get promotion,no fancy tactics or formations,no more big signings just an organised team that understand his instructions.

20.) 08 Sep 2018 20:23:43
That’s very very true. You’re right s*** managers = s*** outcomes !

21.) 08 Sep 2018 23:05:14
You just have to look at unfashionable clubs ie Burnley,Huddersfield,Brighton,Bournemout, what they got right was the manager and those managers are still there and on a low budget .
It's all about the manager if you want success, get that right first the rest will come.

22.) 09 Sep 2018 02:19:20
Pork chop ak will be gone soon.
He's making a rod for his own back.
Here we have a severe case of rose tinted spec syndrome causing severe dilusional malfunction of the hyper thalamus.
I can concur that some posters suffer from this condition when watching poor tactics being used by the forest manager.
Although not serious this state of heightened anxiety causes the said individual to talk in a manner that none sufferers call Bull.
Symptoms may include clouded judgement, repeating themselves, verbal diarrhea and nonsensical claims that the chosen 1 is in fact a Messiah.
The way to treat this is rather harsh but effective.
1.Call them sheep lovers.
2. Call them magpie followers.
3.My personal favourite a night with Montanier Warburton and Mel Morriss.

23.) 09 Sep 2018 11:26:01
ha ha ha, FF799 says Big Sam is our saviour, ha ha ha, my sides are hurting too much.

04 Sep 2018 17:57:20

stag2trees your right he does deserve a few games but not with us and i'm surprised a team like notts didn't come in for him after losing grant to luton at least that way we could have kept an eye on him but nobody in league football are interested in him so he s going to sit there and leach the club and i don't pay at the gate for players like that.
