Press conference called at the city ground for 10.30 tonight, no subject matter is given.
1.) 17 Jan 2019 21:15:21
Yep chugsey lots to come apparently but all embargoed to the press till then.
Interesting
2.) 17 Jan 2019 21:41:17
I'm normally in bed at eight!
3.) 18 Jan 2019 12:07:58
Not happy chugsy! I had to stay up late pal! I daren't even have a power nap in case I miss something.
23 Sep 2018 22:48:06
I think Carvalio is making some great diagonal runs in behind opponents fullbacks that our midfield still isn't picking up.
Can someone tell them.
1.) 24 Sep 2018 08:02:27
I’m sure those diagnal runs will be discussed, probably in quite stern terms. There was a bit of talking about it Saturday actually.
2.) 24 Sep 2018 12:16:04
Exactly the point I was trying to make a couple of weeks ago I don’t think that the midfield as it stands today are good enough to bring the best out of the players we have
Still think there’s some more work to be done in the midfield
3.) 24 Sep 2018 14:52:40
We certainly are not lacking midfield options. It's just a case of striking the right balance. I think that we are quite close to achieving that.
4.) 25 Sep 2018 01:40:59
hes supposed to be a 13m creative midfielder himself, so if players don't spot his diagonal runs surely he should get on the ball and make things happen, that's what playmakers do, let grabban make the runs?
5.) 25 Sep 2018 05:34:26
Carvalho’s movement is absolutely brilliant, he’s always looking for gaps and space. Doing this pushes teams back and keeps their defenders constantly on their toes which leads to more time and space for the midfield. Creativity isn’t just what you can do with the ball, it’s also what you can do without it.
6.) 25 Sep 2018 13:03:59
Yep think some are missing the point of a playmaker he’s supposed to be picking out the runs not making them ,
7.) 25 Sep 2018 16:36:25
Is it etched in stone what he should or should not be doing? I think not! Communication is the key. That,I think, will improve.
8.) 25 Sep 2018 17:04:36
Hi has anyone heard if that Iranian strikers paperwork as come through yet
9.) 25 Sep 2018 17:54:42
Think people are clutching at straws if all we can praise a 13mill championship player for is the odd good run he makes OFF the ball
10.) 26 Sep 2018 01:59:40
if carvalhos runs have been so good why have other players not found him or tried too? and if the other midfielders don't see them surely he needs to tell them? iv seen him once live so far against sheff wed and I thought he was awful in the 1st half just jogging around an seemed disinterested an when someone did pick him out he blazed over from 10 yards out, but in the 2nd half he was much better cus he started looking and asking for the ball so for me its down to him if he wants to play like the 2nd half of sheff wed or not like the 1st?
11.) 26 Sep 2018 08:41:31
Carvalhos shown enough to suggest he'll be a top player when the team becomes more familiar with each other.
When the players around him can anticipate those clever runs into pockets of space & find him consistently, he'll have a bigger influence offensively.
He wants to play one touch football, that will only come good when it becomes second nature to those around him.
12.) 26 Sep 2018 12:43:17
Cjay been to almost all the games and you were obviously watching something different to me
13.) 26 Sep 2018 15:00:15
Folk tend to see what they want to see.
14.) 26 Sep 2018 18:39:12
Rose tinted glasses anyone?
15.) 27 Sep 2018 00:09:57
Cjay i’ m a forest fan and want to see him do well what’s your excuse lol
03 Jul 2018 11:46:31
The more I look at the squad set up, and the info that we are aiming for 6 centre backs including the new guy from QPR then I have to conclude we will be playing 3 at the back with wing backs next season. Just need one more on the left to aid Osbourne and Darikwa and Cash wing backs on the right.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
1.) 03 Jul 2018 13:00:15
I think it is likely and Robinson can play Left Wingback so wouldn’t need another really.
2.) 04 Jul 2018 22:00:48
I think we will go 4231 and possibly switch to a 352 if we struggle to get a grip of the game or depending on opposition formation
08 Feb 2018 21:31:02
Programme sales will be up on Saturday because if your like me you will need one to identify all the players!
1.) 08 Feb 2018 21:44:16
Save your money Chugsy and use the sky sports app 👍
2.) 08 Feb 2018 21:49:23
Have you not heard, we have taken pity on the women that paraded the Darts players to the hockey, they will be parading all our new players with a board stating their names before each game starts for the rest of the season. You can sponsor the girls aswell as the players now. 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁.
3.) 09 Feb 2018 10:46:18
I'm already on the next flight!!! ✈️✈️✈️
4.) 09 Feb 2018 19:41:09
if Hein**kin created the ideal football fans scenario then that would be it
5.) 10 Feb 2018 09:56:27
It's official Forest now have more talent on their books than Hooters!
What can possibly go wrong?
31 Jan 2018 23:58:59
Both Watson and Guadeora have had contracts ended so both can sign tomorrow.
1.) 01 Feb 2018 00:18:54

You have got to play and start your quality players.
12 Jan 2019 16:46:49
Just when you think it couldn't possibly get any worse, Forest find a way!
26 Dec 2018 21:08:19
Paper talk of a dressing room bust up with two managers being lined up as Karanka's replacement. Jardim of Jokanovic.
Marikinakis has his finger on the trigger.
1.) 26 Dec 2018 22:50:34
This would be a very big error if Karanka was replaced or even talk of it. How many sides have been 3 up away against Norwich? Answer 0. OK they messed up and panicked , the referee was and is biased against our club and waited till they equalised. They will learn by their mistakes. This is an amazing season for us compared to the last few post BD. We are just getting some respect back from other sides. We will end up with another cheese man if we are not careful. A player has said AK was a superb manager at Middlesbrough to play for. So let’s support him
26 Dec 2018 18:03:49
Was the extra ten minutes for the second half for any particular reason or are the refs onto Pantilimons time wasting antics. Even with his silly games, ten minutes is an awful lot of added time.
18 Sep 2018 11:56:49
Much has been said recently about our squad size but surely we don't have a bigger squad than say Villa. How do we compare to other championship clubs?
1.) 18 Sep 2018 12:17:38
Its bang average size for a Championship club. We're supposed to be pushing for honours, so square pegs in round holes is out & competition for places is in.
Lets not forget the MO this season is press the life out the opposition for 90 mins & keep the tempo high. there's going to be fitness issues. So quality squad depth is important.
Folk won't see the style yet, folk will tell you the squads not good enough, but I suspect that's the plan.
2.) 18 Sep 2018 12:59:03
I don't know about that cjay there still seems a lot of square pegs in round holes at the minute the biggest one being the manager 2 easy games to prove himself
3.) 18 Sep 2018 13:23:15
If your aim is to press and play at a sustained high tempo Don,t keep signing older players they won,t keep,it up!
CARLO
4.) 18 Sep 2018 14:53:06
Skegsey Wednesday won't be an easy game.
But if he keeps same side as Saturday we should do it.
2-0. I reckon
5.) 18 Sep 2018 14:58:35
A striker that can play the lone role would of been a great signing, but we're stuck with 2 towards the end of there career just feel the players he has bought attacking wise don't fit into his style of play
6.) 18 Sep 2018 15:41:29
Don't worry red James the full backs will be bombing forwards soon, not sure when exactly, and grabbing will be scoring hat tricks.lol😁😁😉
7.) 18 Sep 2018 15:54:03
interesting article in the Post a few days ago about squad sizes in the championship after some comments in multi media.
Compared squad sizes and number of players used.
we were very much middle of the pile, it just appears like we are top heavy due to influx but there have been loads out of the door, be it some on loan but then we have loaned some aswell
8.) 18 Sep 2018 17:14:21
Wash your mouth out trentender that doesn’t marry up with the witch hunters version of things.
9.) 18 Sep 2018 17:59:37
34 odd squad members and 2 recognised strikers after selling one I'm sharpening my pitch fork as we speak lol
10.) 18 Sep 2018 19:39:45
Hadn’t brereton played more games as a winger than he played up top, thus making him more of a winger?
15 Apr 2018 14:06:40
For most of the time Ben's nearest link to other players is the 4 or 5 opposition defenders, with no sign of support from his own midfield. He has battled well for someone so young
09 Feb 2018 19:41:09
if Hein**kin created the ideal football fans scenario then that would be it
31 Jan 2018 22:49:19
now this is what I call a transfer deadline day
29 Jan 2018 19:50:13
Like I said last week if the laughing assassin wants a defender that much he can have Darikwa
28 Jan 2018 12:14:54
Just grab hold of his hairband and release sharply, should get him up the M1 ok
15 Feb 2019 14:50:42
Don Goodman was ok about Forest the other night and clearly stated we were the better team and was robbed
14 Feb 2019 09:58:05
What's wrong with calling Gayle a 'cheating chap'
03 Feb 2019 11:34:46
redcyclist, did you really just mention Spain and Barcelona in relation to a post re Ben Osborne. I think its your lack of vision of what a good player is in the crucial position of the 10 role that is sadly lacking. On yer bike bud
03 Feb 2019 10:28:32
I agree bsered but Ben Osborne in the 10 role? Probably the most negative player in the squad who checks back or plays a sideways pass in a game more than the rest of the team put together and he is given the role that needs someone whose first thought is FORWARD. that's A HARD EXPERMENT TO HANDLE ON A SUNDAY MORNNG
02 Feb 2019 14:33:09
I don't understand why so many quality players are on our bench!
