1.) 31 Aug 2015 14:27:58
7 mill with no loan players coming our way.

fawaz Grabbing the money, who cares about the team now?

2.) 31 Aug 2015 14:35:18
£7m. Still a big profit though.

3.) 31 Aug 2015 14:35:56
Sky Sports say £7m. Sky sources are trying to back up the story reported by the Nottingham Evening Post.

4.) 31 Aug 2015 14:38:25
So fawaz said he not takin less than 8 mill df said he will the best thing for the football club it's actually 7 mill that's been accepted straight up cash no player in return how can this be a good deal df and fawaz are a shambles leuge 1 next season for sure.

5.) 31 Aug 2015 14:40:40
Sad day . he is a real talent , and will not be out of place in the premier league.

we will not be able to replace him for sure . hard times ahead.

6.) 31 Aug 2015 14:52:27
Sad indeed, but we all have to be realistic about where we are. Getting to next summer without the transfer ban must be the priority, as DF says in the NEP interview. I can't see that MA loss is a total disaster t, and we'll still survive. It's living beyond our means that has got us in this mess in the first place. 5.5m profit in 14 months can't be bad. Saying he won't go for less than 8mill was always an obvious bargaining position.

7.) 31 Aug 2015 14:52:45
Sad to see him go but assume we have a plan B. Interested to see who will come in to replace.

8.) 31 Aug 2015 14:56:18
It's like you don't remember the last 3 times we have "accepted deals" for Lansbury.

9.) 31 Aug 2015 14:57:37
MA was missing for all the first half and first bit of the second on Saturday. He skulked about not tracking back and staying on the ground when he got touched. No desire to help the team. Fair enough something happened in the second half ie. Osborn came on and MA started to try and had some fire. Maybe thought his signing on bonus was dropping. You can't force a player to stay if they want to go. Get what you c for them and see from there, just better sell to Prem and not a rival. Problem is the squad is very thin and needs a half decent replacement. Stop blaming fawaz the players are people with opinions and desires.

10.) 31 Aug 2015 15:13:11
This is clearly not in the interests of the team: selling our best player is the result of financial cluelessness leading to waste on a colossal scale and the proceeds will go towards paying debt recklessly incurred by (and probably owed to) FAH. This nice man/passionate supporter/successful businessman is lowering the quality of your Saturday afternoon to pay for his own catalogue of mistakes.

11.) 31 Aug 2015 15:17:41
😂😂😂 some of the reaction son here are comical!fawaz grabbing the money, yea because he needs it doenst he?what he is doing is letting a player move on in his career and also giving the club a massive profit from this which helps towards ffp.
Should we of kept him with his head being up in the clouds thinking of player prem football but in stead is player under a poor manager that hasn't got a clue!

12.) 31 Aug 2015 15:32:45
It is now on Sky Sports that the bid has been accepted.

13.) 31 Aug 2015 15:34:40
West Ham bid accepted, 7 million.

14.) 31 Aug 2015 17:12:14
Antonio has to go- he was dead space for most of the game Saturday and clear he wanted off! It will only get worse if he stays- get someone in who wants to play!
Pato- never really matured after West Ham hat trick and never fulfilled his potential-
You can't blame the players who who are picked - they are doing what they are paid for! It's not their fault they are not good enough so you may as well suck it up!
DF has his hands tied by FFP so a no win situation - the damage was done by a badly run club and we must have known we would get hit by FFP! We took a gamble on getting promotion- it back fired- it's simple!
Fawas backed the manager- but was badly advised! Again a no win- back the manager with signings and getting slated- don't sign anyone- get slated for not backing the manager!
We are where we are - in FFP from out own making - so cannot buy and DF is doing an impossible job and you should all be sympathising with him and backing what we can do- and that's not much!

15.) 31 Aug 2015 21:57:19
@ uptheforest: I'm not suggesting that FAH personally needs the money but I am suggesting that he's in no small way responsible for a situation in which we have to cash in on a prized asset. If MA goes for the suggested £7M, that will represent a huge mark-up on the £1.5M we paid for him but it will all be chalked off against debt, much of which is allegedly carried in director's loans. What that would mean is that the club has to pay money back to the owner in order to get itself back into a financially sustainable position. To be fair, £7M for the player isn't a bad deal - or rather it wouldn't be if it weren't all disappearing into a black hole in the accounts. I also understand that the club has to bring money in to reduce its losses but that doesn't exonerate those responsible for the expensive mistakes that led to those losses in the first place.

according to reports, fulham bid for mancienne

flyingsolo

1.) 27 Aug 2015 15:14:47
He's a top player, got to be worth 4 million

2.) 27 Aug 2015 17:14:35
How and why are Fulham allowed to buy any players. They lost £33 million last year which is £9 million more than us. But no embargo -Why ? .Yet another London club getting preferential treatment like QPR . Fawaz needs to ask the FA the question.

JC1- trent end

3.) 27 Aug 2015 17:33:29
Fulham supposed to have had £5 million bid for Lewis Dunk of Brighton turned down. why should Mancienne be worth less?

4.) 27 Aug 2015 18:03:55
Whats the lenght of his contract? I recall him signing for 2 years last summer so if the bid is anywhere in excess of £1m it might be accepted if the lad is not prepared to commit long term? Just a suggestion.

5.) 27 Aug 2015 18:49:31
Tell them we want Ross Mcormack as a swap.

6.) 27 Aug 2015 20:07:09
We can only dream i suppose.

7.) 28 Aug 2015 01:33:58
I want the MJ statue as part exchange

am i right in thinking that at the stage the takoeover is at that no one can be sold or bought ? as players are assets etc ? so all these players leaving is just the media playing games ?

Reading all these comments is exactly the reason I have not watched 5 minutes of an England game since the last world cup, no pride no passion sums it all up for me.

1.) 28 Jun 2016 10:57:55
Thats right solo instead of getting the manager to explain how dreadful they were why not get the players to explain there poor performance in front of the cameras they are quick to get on when they win just saying.

19 Jun 2016 13:45:38
giggs would give us massive publicity etc but we really need someone who is tried and tested and not a newbie and doesn't matter how good a player he was in the past.

flyingsolo

1.) 19 Jun 2016 18:08:41
We now have a director of football who will carry out managerial duties so we are looking for a head coach Giggs has a lot of experience at the highest level so he could fit the new regime.

i have mixed feelings, after yesterday's performance i wanted dougie gone but now i feel dissapointed, he worked with both hands tied behind his back with ffp etc and i would like to thank him for his efforts in the task he had and hope he finds another club in a better situation then ours

good luck dougie.
