So based on rumors etc looks like we will be adding Murphy, the Greek lad if he plays well, potentially Jackson Irvine and James Justin from Luton (if we offer enough ). Add a decent youngish centre back to that list I'd be pretty happy with that . As long as we get rid of the carp that is perquis, lica and Serb goalie . On a side not does anyone reckon Lewis Walters or Tyler walker will get a look in this year with Britt off?

I think Walker may be surprise this season. His pace and willingness to run was great when he first broke into the squad and though he lost his way and looked too lightweight and got loaned out the last few seasons I think in the system MW seems to play (with fairly free midfield attackers who roam) I can see Walker being played in a deeper or wider role with some success, he will need a good pre-season though as are several other decent lads fighting for a place in that 3 behind the main striker (Osbourne, Clough, Carayol, McKay, Brereton, Ward and even Cash or Cummings)

daryl mutphy has signed a 3 year deal. newcastle fans saying its a good signing and i agree. but 3 years for a 34 year old seems ridiculous.

So with Barrie McKay looking like a done deal with Bogdan to follow, think a lb, cb and a Cm would complete our transfer window . I'd probally take Galloway/ Bidwell for LB, Harlee Dean for CB and Matty James or Irvine from Burton for CM. Who would you's take?

i agree forest-iom. along with cummings and mckay (when confirmed) a cb, lb and cm would be good business in my opinion. i like your suggestions too. i think warburton signing from scotland is clever as he knows the market well and knows that he can get players cheaper as the scottish clubs are poorer than anywhere else. also does anyone know whether the trialist bouchalakis from olympiacos went to america with the squad?

Rumors resurfacing again about us getting mackay from Rangers- lad looks talented but a bit hit and miss . Not sure it the rumor has any legs as we seemed to be linked with every Ranger's player under the sun!

So after the Portuguese lads signing, reakon GK Muric, RB Bryam and top striker and we are there. Don't wanna over do it with new signings . And then there's about 10 players we need to shift, if clubs will take them! COYR.

It is a worrying statistic for 25 year old I must admit although he is a class act when fit but could be one of those players who is one bad tackle away from a season out.

I think he will start Vaughan over Bouchalakis and Clough over Brereton. I also imagine Murphy will start rather than Vellios even though I would prefer Vellios to get a chance. Will be a very strong bench though!

Decent player interesting Leeds and Brentford, but exciting young player come through youth ranks at Exeter city as did George friend and dean marney whom both have since played in the premiership so Watkins could be a good buy.

Forest next year based on some of the rumors going around around and some of my own ideas .
Gk: Smith and Henderson - don't think we require another keeper . Smith is getter better and Henderson looked good until he got injured .
Lb- Bidwell from QPR, Traore and Cohen at a push - heard we are after Bidwell who looks solid enough left back, and traore is class if can be kept fit
Cb- Manciene, Worrall, Mills, Harlee Dean from Brentford, Fox - I think Worrall is a player we need to build team around, and need an experienced cb to play with him . Dean seems a good player who the gaffer knows well . Perquis and Hobbs to move on. Shame as rate Hobbs but injury record is poor
Rb- Lichaj, Manciene for cover, also young Gabriel to push through . Maybe require another RB to offer competition to Eric.
Dm- Cohen, Vaughan, Matty James from Leicester . This is where we need to improve . Someone like James from Leicster would offer good championship experience and can read game well . Would like to see Esder break through this year too . Beilic on loan from Arsenal too would be nice .
Am- Ben Osborn, Bradley Dack from Gills, Zac Clough, Matty Cash . We are well stocked here but adding another creative player who can score goals to fill Lansburys shoes .
Wingers- Carayol, Josh Morris from Scunthorpe, Aribiyi if can become fit . Need Carayol to be more consistent and so I reckon we need another wide player .
Fwds- Britt (hope he can stay fit! ) , Ben Brereton, Jamie Ward, Adam Armstrong on loan from Newcastle, and young Scottish striker called Matty Knox from Kili- Only thing that concerns me is that Britt is the only one I'm sure of will score 15 plus goals, but others will need to chip in if we are to do well next year .
Think Grant, Walker, and Yates could benefit from loan moves.
Would be quite happy with this as would mean we keep all our young talent and add some quality, while getting rid of the dead wood which the club is plagued with atm!

I think Britt is damn good but 10 mil plus bamford isn't an awful deal - remember how many goals he has scored in the championship the past few seasons? Ideal situation would be too keep Britt tho obviously.

Personally don't think we need another Keeper, and think a new left back is needed more than a right back especially if Scowen comes in who can fill in at RB. Would also like to keep Cash as think he will have a part to play . But yeah I agree the squad will look something like you suggested.
