Where was this Billy Davis rumour seen.

1.) 06 Feb 2019 17:53:18
Somewhere nobody should ever be looking - in the darkest deepest hole where prince billy sits laughing at people still mentioning his name in the same breath as our great club. My therapy was going so well until someone mentioned him ๐Ÿ˜ก

2.) 06 Feb 2019 18:00:13
From Kelvin Wilson. Another player we signed who was injury prone. We never learn.

3.) 06 Feb 2019 18:05:19
2tone I don't normally comment on here, but yes Billy Davies was a bit of a handfull behind the scenes, but he is still in the last few years the only manager who has had us playing exciting attacking football and nearly got us to the prem, that you have to admit.
And I am also admit it a big fan of his, sorry but everybody can voice there opinion if you like it or not, thankyou

4.) 06 Feb 2019 18:23:24
Yeah he nearly got us promoted twice - a good manager wouldnโ€™t have lost both of the big games needed to get us to the promised land. Best recent performances consistently from the period when he was in charge but that doesnโ€™t mean much - look what trash we are comparing him too. He was a loser not a winner and certainly no king . Just my opinion and a few on here will know itโ€™s only a bit of banter with me regarding prince billy ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ‘

5.) 07 Feb 2019 00:50:27
King Billy was the best coach we have had since Cloughie (exceptions maybe Paul Hart and Sean O'Driscoll). It's a shame his PR dept let him down :D

6.) 07 Feb 2019 10:02:44
2tone maybe we could swap billy for Martin and leave Keane as is assistant that would be a dream team wouldnโ€™t it ๐Ÿ˜

7.) 07 Feb 2019 13:40:57
Had to laugh about Billy being best since clough or only forgot about basset and Frank Clark both had the dirty done on them by flogging best players from under them.

8.) 07 Feb 2019 15:26:41
Are we not still paying him money in compensation?

9.) 07 Feb 2019 15:47:25
Davis would probably got us up if backed when we were 2nd in the league in Jan in his 1st spell .
In his last Jan window he had some right rubbish imposed on him .
Yes he was a loose cannon but nobody can deny his football was good ,have a poor first half second half guaranteed to be vast improvement .
As a man needed to be controlled to see the best of him but sadly didn,t always happen.
Would I ever have him back?
Under the right conditions Yes.

10.) 07 Feb 2019 16:49:59
Dan don't forget Psycho had two of his best players sold and then loaned back to him without his knowledge.

11.) 07 Feb 2019 17:03:03
Iโ€™d have him back, but only to dress up as the mascot and let the ball boys and girls fire balls at him ๐Ÿคฃ

12.) 07 Feb 2019 17:13:38
No chance of getting Davies back, we'd have to take our place at the back of the long, long queue of clubs trying to sign him.LOL

13.) 07 Feb 2019 21:13:52
2tone mascot sounds good. Dress him up as a sheep and send him along the Brian Clough Way.

14.) 08 Feb 2019 10:14:33
I can only advise and recommend not to ever let him near our club again. His attitude second time around was simply poisonous to a football club.

15.) 08 Feb 2019 18:22:42
I was joking about Billy's PR department by the way. Billy had media management issues but was a good coach.

I don't know why but sometimes I feel like people think everything I say is serious. Tongue in cheek and all that.

02 Jan 2019 13:52:18
Wat a diference it makes when defenders score. Last time a defender scored two was Mills. We need more goals from them to stay in contention. Also afraid that if we go in for Burke they may want Lolley in return.

1.) 02 Jan 2019 14:27:00
Why would we pay good Lolley for a Burke. ๐Ÿ˜„

2.) 02 Jan 2019 15:07:54
Defenders? Colbacks a midfielder

3.) 02 Jan 2019 16:14:08
Brilliant LC!

4.) 03 Jan 2019 22:22:57
Misrepresentation of a footballer! Mills has never been a defender which is why he nearly always takes teams down!

5.) 04 Jan 2019 00:09:06
We've got a so called goalkeeper who's having our pants down

18 dec 2018 13:22:38
crystal palace intersted in britt. swap with connor wickham.

1.) 18 Dec 2018 14:11:44
I think he was rubbish when at Sunderland if so why?

2.) 20 Dec 2018 08:28:22
wow, that would be a terrible swap for Boro.

3.) 20 Dec 2018 12:22:50
Is he still going Conor wickham ??

27 Jun 2018 11:06:34
Soudani having a medical on friday.

1.) 27 Jun 2018 12:22:16
Great news and hopefully another striker to follow shortly after.

06 Jun 2018 12:30:55
Bristol City now favourites to sign Marriot according to Peterbourough Journal.

1.) 06 Jun 2018 12:41:42
Marriott to become a Bristol player by the weekend according to my Bristol college.๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

2.) 06 Jun 2018 12:53:57
Can a player play for two clubs, will he stay in Bristol and only play the home games for each club, otherwise that is going to be a arduous season for him. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

3.) 06 Jun 2018 13:06:07
I for one would be happy if Bristol city signed him , got a feeling this lad will struggle in the Championship !!
Unlike Brit who i felt the exact opposite about.
I suppose only time will tell.

4.) 06 Jun 2018 13:30:40
I think this guy will be better than Britt, better movement, fitter and sharper than Britt was. I'll be disappointed if it's not us.

5.) 06 Jun 2018 13:36:15
Yes he can lol, but only until Bristol play forest.

6.) 06 Jun 2018 14:45:16
Really hope the Posh owner isn't taking the p@*s!!! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

7.) 06 Jun 2018 14:54:38
Fawaz Bank Balance, I'm not saying he he will not join Bristol City but if it was certain i would have thought they would announce him sooner than the weekend.

8.) 06 Jun 2018 15:51:01
Posh Chairperson (Being PC LOL) birdied that the striker had already left. . . . for Spain on his holibobs so I suspect he's out there mulling over which club to move for.

9.) 07 Jun 2018 00:14:26
Then Barry Fry comments that non of the bids have reached Peterborough's evaluation of the player. Fun and games!

I suspect that the player has a choice.

10.) 07 Jun 2018 10:34:57
Win, Yeah me too, I'm hoping my colleague is winding me up!

20 Mar 2019 08:57:20
Just saying. Stranger things have happen.

19 Mar 2019 12:49:22
The only way that we are going to be sucessfull is if we move from the City ground. I think the Brian Clough "PRESENCE" is still intimidating and overpowering for owners and managers. Case of new starts new prospects. Simples.

1.) 19 Mar 2019 13:30:58
What a crock of. Only a sheep would come with this ridiculous post!

2.) 19 Mar 2019 13:56:49
Fawaz couldnโ€™t agree more mate

3.) 19 Mar 2019 15:49:53
๐Ÿ‘ Stevie

4.) 19 Mar 2019 16:34:17
nashua2 I think that the presence of OBE would be with us even if we were to move to Timbuktu.

5.) 19 Mar 2019 16:37:53

Although I respect your opinion I cannot agree with it as The City Ground is to many still an iconic ground which I know is a view shared by many visiting supporters and is our home.

The heyday of Mr Clough AND the always forgotten Mr Taylor was decades ago and although I still have the memories ( and not all good ones ) I have moved on from it as I hope the club has.

6.) 19 Mar 2019 18:19:47
Nashua-Iโ€™ve never heard such nonsense!
Moving from the world famous city ground would be the worst thing that we could do, thatโ€™s where the history lies and where the memories are. Itโ€™s not the stadium itโ€™s the staff, owner, manager, players, the ones that put the shift in and either get success or they donโ€™t. To blame it on Sir Brian or the ground is absolute poppycock! Give your head a wobble and have a word with yourself mate.

7.) 19 Mar 2019 20:06:49
There are far too many new stadia that look as if they've come straight from Ikea! "Is always to be here" ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ

8.) 19 Mar 2019 22:18:04
Well simples sums up that post Nashua 2๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

9.) 20 Mar 2019 07:46:24
JellASS Shagger
The world iconic City Ground
Not Ikea Prideless Park

10.) 20 Mar 2019 12:24:32
But how are we going to house the East Midlands NFL franchise at the City Ground to develop the cash flow required to compete with the top Premiership clubs?

11.) 20 Mar 2019 16:17:02
Revenue will be created due to on site restaurants conference facilities and a Forest museum.

12.) 21 Mar 2019 09:40:54
Additional revenue is required from more sell out events inside the stadium to compete at the very top!

13.) 21 Mar 2019 10:48:07
RIE, Forest's days at the very top are long gone, and will never happen again. We will at best manage what Bournemouth are managing to do, winning the PL and the CL are impossible under current so called fair play rules, no more owners splashing as much as they want to turn small clubs into big clubs.

13 Mar 2019 14:08:21
Could be that Grabbans agent is lining up a move else where for him, hence asking him not to play.

1.) 13 Mar 2019 14:26:49
Should that be true he has been approached by someone. If he wants to leave let him, Forest do not need unhappy players, it is no good for team spirit.

2.) 13 Mar 2019 15:24:06
Lol and who would be after him he's a cracking championship goalscorer but won't cut it in premiership so it will be no one from there so with things on the up with this club wether it's this season or next is best bet would be to stay here

3.) 13 Mar 2019 15:53:10
So Skegsjay, if a player fails at one Premier League club he will fail at them all?

Grabban may not attract big Premier League teams but mid to lower PL teams could be interested.

His attitude has been questioned this season, how true, who knows but money always talks.

4.) 13 Mar 2019 16:20:48
That's exactly what I'm saying LC or whatever your name is great championship striker but not good enough to mix it with the best forwads in the premiership hope you now understand what I said first time

5.) 13 Mar 2019 16:21:27
I agree with Skegsjay. He may as well stay with us . After all we could quite soon be a mid table prem club anyway.

6.) 13 Mar 2019 16:57:31
Why are even discussing this? It's made up nonsense by our resident Direby fan.

7.) 13 Mar 2019 17:12:43
Skegsjay, When i read your post i thought you were suggesting Grabban would not attract any Premier League teams, i was saying he would attract up to a mid table PL team, why would he not want to join a mid table PL team.

8.) 13 Mar 2019 17:18:07
S_Getty, I know it is not being very optimistic, but should we go up either this season or next season i think we will come straight back down.

9.) 13 Mar 2019 18:11:53
Not with this owner lc

13 Mar 2019 11:25:21
If George Best was the best. Then Byan Robson was the second best.

1.) 13 Mar 2019 11:57:51
Robson was good, but not second best, not for me.

2.) 13 Mar 2019 12:32:20
I thought "Callum" was the second "Best" ??? ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

3.) 13 Mar 2019 12:32:21
Better than bobby charlton then?

4.) 13 Mar 2019 13:24:21
I think some of you are showing your age ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿคฃ

5.) 13 Mar 2019 13:43:09
2 tone age doesnโ€™t diminish quality mate

6.) 13 Mar 2019 14:06:58
Reds , some of us have been around for years and can say we have personally seen the likes of Best Charton Moore Banks etc., and have also seen today's stars . Therefore can pas an opinion more balanced than most . More to it than seeing film clips and photos even aged doddery old gits like me telling you so. Respect that some fans may just know a little more than you give them credit for .

7.) 13 Mar 2019 18:18:19
Old gits ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

8.) 13 Mar 2019 19:44:40
2tone experienced mate experienced lol

9.) 13 Mar 2019 20:58:17
๐Ÿ‘ picked any winners at the races?

04 Mar 2019 08:47:58
Does MON seoriously thinks he can win matches by playng 3 defensive midfielders and Osborne who scores about two goals every season. then there's no goals Murphy. Personally I don't see what he achieves by setting up the team the way he does. Been hard to beat is fine but by not scoring goals you achieve nothing certainly not playoffs or promotion. Season that started of so promisingly is slowly disintergrating just like the past 20 years.

1.) 04 Mar 2019 11:22:39
True that i'd like to hear what roy keans thoughts on this never heard his take on things.

It's all very well playing in Europe But Croatian League. Is it that good. I don't think so. Most of his national games are against African opposition. Jut my opinion.
