Lars Veldwijk ‏@VeldwijkLars 2h2 hours ago

Hello everyone. I am happy to say I will be staying at Nottingham Forest 👍👍😀 #NFFC

Not sure if that's his official twitter account but he has just tweeted that.

has all his other tweets on it from excelsior and from when he joined forest. Also has some Dutch on there.

You tell me.

1.) 03 Jun 2016 14:09:50
We must have a manager then, how else can he say that?

2.) 03 Jun 2016 14:17:02
Well we do need a couple of strikers could he form a decent partnership with Britt?

3.) 03 Jun 2016 14:23:35
It's a confirmed fake account.

4.) 03 Jun 2016 14:32:25
However i would love to see him stay for a season. He did originally retweet an interview (when he moved on loan beginning of last season) saying that he would never play for Forest again, as long as Dougie was in charge. Now he is not in charge he may favor a stay?

5.) 03 Jun 2016 14:32:46
14 goals in 35 games not sure how many full matches that he played but not bad for dutch premier league but I think we still need another forward as well.

6.) 03 Jun 2016 15:25:31
We might be begging him to come back if things carry on.

7.) 03 Jun 2016 16:26:35
I very much agree with you no22, to be fair the thought of a Lars and Britt partnership is quite exciting.

8.) 03 Jun 2016 18:18:08
We don't have to beg him to come back, he's contracted. He has two choices play or breach his contract and sit-out the season unpaid!

That said, we won't ask him to play, I think he will be moved on, as he isn't good enough for the Championship, too slow!

9.) 03 Jun 2016 20:23:58
Fake account.

10.) 03 Jun 2016 20:31:03
No22 are you the dougmiester in disguise doom and gloom 😎.

11.) 03 Jun 2016 20:48:36
Play to his strengths ie in the air. Pearce wanted him to dribble the ball in the net and he's not going to do that. With twisty and osbormes crosses and him taking out two cbs it will so many chances for assombalongo. For those that's old enough to remember the baker wignall and the woodcock withe partnerships.

12.) 03 Jun 2016 22:01:48
What have I said now Skeg?

Just being honest.

13.) 04 Jun 2016 11:05:31
Think he's just trying to say to you keep the faith no22 - we share your concerns but let's not beat ourselves up on a daily basis my friend - there is always hope!

Report suggests Nottingham Forest have offered former Anderlecht boss Besnik Hasi the manager job

Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Hasi, who left his role at Anderlecht at the end of March, has plenty of offers on the table. Legia Warsaw have offered him the job whilst Galatasaray are also said to be interested in handing him the top job.

However, the former Albania international is said to be keen on a move to England and has an offer from the Championship – which Nieuwsblad suggests is from Nottingham Forest.

Hope not. lol

Total novice.

1.) 03 Jun 2016 11:56:20
Total rubbish as usual. I am not on Twitter so I do not know what the Chairman is saying at the moment.

2.) 03 Jun 2016 12:08:11
Besnik Hasi looks like a Rookie manager to me. Was the assistant manager at Anderlecht and then the Manager for not very long. Why did he leave? Never manged anywhere else. If he is that sought after and left Anderlect in March why has he nor been snapped up by now?

3.) 03 Jun 2016 12:21:45
Don't want him would be a disaster. Could be lazy journalism like most of these random rumours are. The Greek will already have laised with whatever little structure we have and he'll have a number one target lined up probably from Greece or connections with Greece. Fawaz will have quite a large input still however because as chairman you usually make more decision even with a 20% stake than the owner. The owner should sit back but with 80% has a lot of control over fawaz. In the fat slightly questionably corrupt Greek boat man we trust 🌳.

4.) 03 Jun 2016 12:29:34
Besnik who?

5.) 03 Jun 2016 12:40:55
Who the heck is that? These rumours are getting worse and worse for us. What happened to the decent names being bandied about. I wish something concrete would happen and put us all out of our misery.

6.) 03 Jun 2016 13:07:44
Surely all these rumours are just a smoke screen, to stop people sniffing around the takeover, until it's completed. My dogs got better managerial status than Besnik what's his face, and my dogs proper stupid. Keep the faith.

7.) 03 Jun 2016 15:25:49
Hang on a minute hasi was manager of Anderlecht for two years winning the Belgian pro league and Belgian cup trophies don't lie what more do u people want Steve bl##dy Evans?

8.) 03 Jun 2016 15:30:39
Bet we end up with Russel Slade just u watch.

Which of the following most accurately describes the current situation with the first team?

1, All the gear no idea

or

2, All the possession no aggression?

1.) 02 Dec 2017 17:02:11
Manager and players openly talk of being confident of winning every game? Time to stop taking the tablets, wake up, reality check time. You have to fight for the right to win a game of football, we play like a premiership team but without the quality. Championship football takes no prisoners, players need to start showing some passion and fight and the manager needs to re-assess his limited tactics and basic football knowledge. Possession football will not get us out of this league, if we do nothing with that possession. We football fans are a fickle bunch and after that performance, rightly so.👎

23 Sep 2017 18:29:45
Im sure 4-4-2 would free up more space in the middle and force the pass to go more than 2 yards before the move breaks down 30 yards from goal.

Maybe the second man up front would be able to pass to the other attacker.

Its cringe inducing.

no22

1.) 23 Sep 2017 18:53:56
Thanks brereton you berk. Get him off

2.) 23 Sep 2017 19:36:16
Know how you feel billybongo. Stupid free kick and we are punished. However this Ben Brererton is not the same player I saw at the back end of last season and I think he is thoroughly fed up and dejected at playing wide. It makes no semse to me but I don't think MW will change that

3.) 23 Sep 2017 19:37:19
Brereton rubbish again unless you actually put the ball on his boot he ain't bothered very lazy

4.) 23 Sep 2017 19:37:24
he at least attempted to tackle the bloody man unlike the previous half hearted attempts by more senior players ,would you have making same post if matey had put it in row z , or would it have been better to allow the run to continue and then for him to a cheap shot

23 Sep 2017 18:24:18
Its match day and my eyes are bleeding again.

MW's wonderful passing game stinking out villa park, but don't say anything! Don't want to upset the messiah.

Not a single worthwhile effort on goal or half decent threat. If you're hoping you're going to get a bit of luck you've already lost.

Pathetic.

BB useless! Needs taking off and dropping for a long time because there isn't any work in him.

no22

1.) 23 Sep 2017 18:31:34
maybe its because he's a forward not a winger , have a word in warburtons ears , pegs and holes doesn't even come close, personally hasn't worked out best 11 or overall best formation even with the team containing players he bought in,almost made this game regardless of work , i pity and admire all those that did , think a refund would be good gesture from warburtons wages because he isn't earning it from what I've seen tonight

2.) 23 Sep 2017 18:42:33
Does that mean he can sulk like a big baby and not chase anything?

The best do their job no matter what the circumstances and get results

3.) 23 Sep 2017 19:42:05
the best is that warburtons best then , because they play his formation his style his tactics and basically the above is all wrong with the calibre of player we have, but that's ok we'll carry on being cannon fodder to what are very average sides bar a few in this league. Villa are going nowhere this season and we've just made them for most look a very impressive side.

09 Sep 2017 19:42:42
Sick to death of seeing players stop to comb their hair.

Stop stealing a living and get some work done you fearful little girls.

No wonder leeds sold bridcutt.

First half looked scared to death of the ball and would play any pass just to be rid of it.

Last game was bad but that's two identical games in a row that have been well below acceptable standards.

First time I've ever switched it off at 80 mins and some of the worst i've seen.

Sack PM bring Billy back! Told you long ago this clown had rinsed the club. Funny how the accounts go in the Americans pull out. 80% of a club @ £50 m values it at 60 m! Add the £30 m debt we owe on the commercial bank loan Fawaz borrowed and we have a £90 m pound club. Who in their right mind values this club at that kind of money, and thinks anyone is going to buy it.

That is before we start talking about the other £50 m losses that Fawass is likely to want back. I would think the price was agreed and once the Americans got sufficiently down the road of buying the club the debts started to be revealed in the hope no one would notice. We know we can't trust the Liar from Q8. He has shown this many times. Truth is the club isn't worth what he thinks it is, no matter how many clubs come to take an optimistic pop at our young talent.

Give Billy a couple of mill to keep us up and forget about the rest because this is now a dire relegation houdini escape act. This club is on life support and we need a motivator and schemer. We will doubtless lose more players than we bring in and Fawass will try and flog the club for £50 m again next season once he's sold our best players. Good chance for a proven operator like Billy to redeem himself.

This club needs results like yesterday! Time for drastic but much needed measures to ensure survival. We are probs back in embargo now? What a mess!

no22

1.) 14 Jan 2017 13:32:18
Christ it's no22! Nice to have you back with your first slice of rubbish. Never bring billy back

2.) 14 Jan 2017 13:46:22
Just thought I'd say my piece and disappear. Thanks for the love, missed you too! :) Name a more qualified survival escape manager who knows the club and gets results. More importantly. He would actually come back. lol Name one and let's have a laugh.

3.) 14 Jan 2017 13:54:45
What is it with the billy brigade? The man is a horrible poisonous very big mouthed nobody. He hasn't even been able to get a job in the Scottish Sunday pub league. Our club is at least achieving once more at academy level. Remember the very set up he destroyed.

4.) 14 Jan 2017 14:31:15
He's been waiting for this moment to make his return😎

5.) 14 Jan 2017 14:33:27
Yeah, no 22. No doubt he has a good record since Cloughie. However what annoyed me was when we got thrashed 5-0 by Derby, he just walked off! And never acknowledged the poor sods who turned up to witness it!

6.) 14 Jan 2017 14:58:15
Im for Billy back under him I believe we finished 3rd,6th and 7th, the footie was good the stadiums were full and the feel good factor was great

7.) 14 Jan 2017 15:26:59
Now we wait for IBM!

8.) 14 Jan 2017 15:38:52
Yes he knows the club because he very nearly ruined it with his pig headedness. So no22 are you saying that the Americans never seen the accounts before they put a bid in and moved everything across? lol. what a load of rubbish.

9.) 14 Jan 2017 16:26:45
Doesn't need a job. Still being paid by us till June.

10.) 14 Jan 2017 17:51:59
I'm not saying they didn't see a version of the accounts. If the accounts weren't filed with the league, and that put us in embargo, something was wrong with how the figures were written down in relation to the deal.

I suspect Fawass was twisting and turning all Xmas trying to make the numbers look right, or trying to make them look the way he that he'd told everyone they looked.

The accounts no doubt told a different story once they were produced. Do you honestly think Fawass had any idea of what the numbers look like after Lalou tifrit left? Why else would a party walk away from a deal wanting a reported £35m reduction in the price. lol

It took him 3 weeks to do something with the accounts because he delayed the deal for that long when the money was in the bank ready to go. Where is the Burke money? It should belong to the club.

You cannot just remove money from a company without telling anyone or accounting for it. Fawass would have to move the money from the clubs current account and reduce it against the loans he gave to the club.

If that's the case, he knew he was selling, and he knew before the deal was done that none of the money was going to the club for players. Again he lied and bought in free players and loans.

Hardly any of our first team cost a dime and you wonder why were nearly in the bottom three. It looks like one of them free agent teams you see every now and then in the daily star! Come on, wake up!

Everyone's going on like this is two crooks trying to nickle and dime each other at the last minute? Get real! Proper people like JJM value time over money.

They don't like wasting their time because you can't buy more time. He has money? He can get more money easily. but he cannot buy more time.

No way did everyone involved set out with this outcome in mind or to waste their valuable time, but there is only one snake here. JJM is obviously very keen and wants it his own way too.

If it wasn't the case he'd of bought one of the three clubs he's gone after. The lying idiot with the sand palace is in charge of this mess.

11.) 14 Jan 2017 18:55:58
The fl league said the figures looked ok and that we were within ffp we just needed to submit the accounts but couldn't due to the takeover. jjm would of seen everything ages ago, you wouldn't wait till last minute to get someone to look at the books.

everything was frozen whilst the takeover was happening and nothing could change, if it did change jjm could sue fawaz. which isn't and won't happen.

12.) 14 Jan 2017 19:37:55
Gotta say to previous post I was a big Billy fan full houses buzzing atmosphere two up front 442 system none of this foreign systems crap as cloughie said players win ya matches not systems. But he did kill the academy and became a bit of a mental case banning the press and wat not bit of a jekyll and hyde he had sum serious mental issues. Always thought it was meant to be but just a pipe dream. Since he gone though the football has been poo and will continue too be poo just need to batten down the hatches and hope to stay in the league. Can see sum agents calling up sum players telling them to get out and can't blame em. Dread to think where we mite be in a few seasons God only knows. As long as we beat shaggers at home only thing too look forward to now. Another season of guff. Things been going wrong since Ron Atkinson tried to keep us in prem and had a massive bonus waved in front of his greedy pig nose and sat in the wrong dugout, no interest on forest at all just money, apart from two or three dare we dream seasons the rest has been pig guff. Wud be OK if our international team provided us with sum entertainment but their about as useful as a fart in a coriander.

13.) 14 Jan 2017 19:50:48
I think JJM will be back. Just a businessman trying to put the squeeze on last minute as he knows Fawaz has no pocket money left. He had people lined up for job roles who had left jobs at other clubs (reportedly) . Can't believe he will let his 3rd takeover attempt fail.

We don't trust in suicide, play it in you own area football?
So no, I'm sorry? I don't trust in MW

If that's what He's bringing. Especially to this of all leagues then he only has himself to blame.

He's displaying a total lack of awareness. That'll get a manager sacked at the golden arches.

A 5-year-old could do better and watching it makes my eyes bleed.

The club now have the small matter of interest and repayment on the £80 million loan Fawaz took out to fund his escape.

That's going to sting. .Real bad.

How many times is miles better? 13 times better than a 18 year old?

Do the sums. lol

7 years older than BB at the rate of transfer inflation anything could happen. 15 million for Shearer in 1996 and 20 years on were at 200 million. That's going on for about 9 million per year increase on average.

Ok it doesn't flow like that but by the time BB comes for sale at the end of a 5 year contract 200 million might be happening fairly often and 300 million might not be out of the question for the best player in the world.

Don't look at what he's worth now? What is his potential value and as a bonus to any future club he'd be on much lower wages due to his age.

I want him to stay and things to improve, but it seems such an odd one?

Liking the fact MW is trying to change things but there have been a lot of mistakes made. And quite big ones at that. Thankfully they are all on the field and this can be changed.

It would be a mistake to get rid of the management team because they bring so much to the club as a whole.
Maybe MW will make all his mistakes early and all we need is patience?
He does seem like someone who's willing to learn and change but can he adapt quickly enough and find the right formula and motivation to get the boys playing like a team.

let's hope things pick up and we make it to Jan relatively unscathed. Going to need some new defenders (or play the good ones we have) and we desperately ask Roy Keane to lace a pair and show them how to run a midfield.

The chopping and changing formation three times in a game after picking the wrong formation out of the box has done nothing for confidence.

You can't ruin the back 5 with that passing nonsense that went on and ask them to revert back like it never happened or forgive after they get all the stick.

It was suicide and might do for MW yet.
