Just a thought. What happens if DeVries gets a long term injury or even a suspension? Is Evtimov good enough to fill in or would we have space in our squad to bring in a goalie under an emergency loan or would that take us over the maximum loans a club can have?

Seems he needs to grow his confidence rather than his ability but because we keep giving him a contract so fingers crossed he can step up one day.

Is Robson - kanu still available on a free? Looked good in the Euros. Surely could do a good job for us in the Championship. I thought he wanted to go to a Premier league club but no one has snapped him up yet. I would still like Rhodes or Ings but I assume their wages would be too high.

If a top Premier league side offered us £12 million for Burke + a good sell on clause and sent him back to us for the rest of the season and with that money we could offer say £7 million for a top striker like Jordan Rhodes who appears out of favour at Boro what would you think? I personally would love to keep Ollie but we do need another striker. Any thoughts?

Burke is no CF, in his little cameo against millwall, several times in dropped into space turned and ran at the defence, which is where our 2nd goal came from. that's his strength!

I know most of us would like to see all the deadwood out of the club but players like Blackstock, Fryatt, Fox etc are all under contract and are all on ridiculously inflated wages so why would they agree to be transferred for a lesser wage? No other team would want them and pay them the same as we do. When you include the likes of Tesche, Hobbs C Burke etc the club is losing over 100k a week on wasted wages. Will we really come out of the Embargo this Summer?

If / when the last place is used up in whatever position there is always a massive, if a key play gets injured where will that leave us. Sometimes in order to strengthen you have to take a gamble.

That is where you are mistaken, Etimov is both too young, and not played enough to qualify as part of the 24 places. It therefore has to be one or the other.

With or without evtimov we only have one space available and DF has stated that he is looking for a forward player as a priority. The signing of Robinson will more than likely only be if another player goes out during the window or if we cannot find a suitable striker.

The best signing Fawaz could make would be a Chief executive or someone in authority who could sort all of these paperwork cock-ups and give Dougie half a chance of getting another striker in.

15 million Euros is about 12.75 million pounds. Let's hope there is a decent sell on clause in the deal as well.

I believe Dan Harding went to Eastleigh due to wanting to be near his family as I think I read 2 of their un born triplets died. Family more important than football.
