Hopefully djebbour paraded in front of us all before tonights match by the way ed banter still ain't working

red west

1.) 119 goals from 270 games - Will take some of that!

2.) Can anyone tell me when the last time we actually 'paraded' a signing before the fans?

3.) Lansbury paraded august 2012. think it was a league cup game

4.) Robbie findley was last one paraded before fans

5.) Last one was Findley weren't it - let's hope this chap's a bit better.

6.) Lets face it he can't be any worse than Findley

According to one tabloid today it says graham is to seal a switch to Nottingham forest we have agreed to take over his loan as he has fell down the pecking order at the kc stadium

red west

1.) Do we really want a third hand ( he's not wanted by either Hull or Sunderland ), out of form ( I think only 1 goal this year ) expensive ( apparently we have to take over his contract ) journeyman who has gone and spoken to Bolton after meeting Forest?!

I vote that he jogs on somewhere else.

{Ed034's Note - yes as he will improve us. are not nearly all players third, fourth, fifth hand??

2.) The Danny Graham situation is interesting unless I'm mistaken Forest, Hull and Sunderland all involved in the negotiations. This could explain why it is dragging out so long.

3.) He is better than what we have and proven at this level few games to get fit and put on the reidy diet should do the trick, just what we need, will it happen properly not,

4.) Where are you coming from Willow? the player has an agent who is paid to get the best deal for his client. You cannot blame the player just because other clubs have shown interest, so why say jog on somewhere else, its not like buying sweets from your local shop.

5.) 23 Jan 2014 12:04:40
I would much rather we sign Wickham, he's currently doing the business with Sheffield Wednesday, and I feel has the potential to improve further. Why are we dealing with Hill, after the Hobbs debarkle I would have thought we steer well clear of them.

6.) Hang on Willow. Juan Mata wasnt wanted by Real Madrid or Chelsea! Someone tell Man U that he's 3rd hand and to jog on. We have to be realistic in our targets. If he can get the form back he had at Swansea, i'm sure you'll be cooing what a great signing he is!

7.) The only reason while Graham would go to the Bolton is because of location, they not meet his wage demands

8.) Graham is no Mata.

He's out of form & probably not match fit either, plus I don't see him fitting and doing any better than the guys we have now - we need someone who is in form and not trying to recover it, who fits our style of play and can hit the ground running ( literally )

9.) Why would we need him to "literally" hit the ground running? Are Hull going to drop him off in Nottingham via helicopter?

10.) Willow, I think we all know Danny Graham is no Juan Mata, but his goalscoring record in an offensive team like Swansea was the season they went up, similar to ours now is 2nd to none. Personally I have no doubt he would bang in 10 - 15 goals before season ends and be the difference we need. He is certainly an improvement on Miller, Derbyshire, Mackie & Cox when it comes to playing up front on there own!

11.) Correct me if I am wrong but graham scored 7 goals for swansea last season before his transfer to sunderland I don't believe any of our strikers have scored 7 this season.

I reckon he will be a fantastic signing he is a natural goalscorer exactly what we need

{Ed034's Note - 14 the season before that and 27 the season before that

12.) Agree with Bassie, to push the boat out with Wickam and buy him on a 2/3 year deal if possible. He is 20 years old and if we did sell him on later, may get a profit.

13.) Not Billys greatest fan, but to be fair to him he's proved a good judge of player so far, despite what Willow says, Graham looks a good fit for Forest, & if Billy is prepared to take a chance, then that's good enough for me.
CJ

14.) There are people on here showing a lot of Naivety

Graham has an outstanding record at championship level.

Of course we want a player that is 100% match fit and in form and scoring.

What club is going to sell a player that is in form and scoring. NONE.

DG is a proven Championship striker that has also scored consistently in the PL till his move to Sunderland.

I can't work out why anyone would not be happy with this signing.

15.) Could be a great signing by Billy boy, my only concerns are, the length of time this particular deal is taking, and I really hope they can bring in another striker along with Graham!

16.) 23 Jan 2014 13:00:37
Graham is out of favour at Hull and yes he isn't playing well but that's why players get put onto transfer lists!

He was a great player at Swansea until his move and is better than what we have.

We play with 1 striker up front and a lot of support from midfield which is how Swansea played when Graham was banging them in for them, Hull don't and he hasn't had the service to score from.

Will be a great signing and will score plenty, far more than our current strikers do.

17.) Wickam ain't that good. He maybe young but that's it. Take out his free kicks and penalties he has scored and your left with very few goals in open play, not exactly what we are looking for. We have Reidy for the free kicks and Lansbury for the penalties.

18.) This thread is dragging on a bit but glancing over it I think the general thoughts are Graham would be a good signing with one or two not too happy (god knows who they expect us to sign?) - I think he is just what we want, a player with talent and something to prove - realistically what more can you ask for? apart from maybe signing Wickham and a def. midfielder too? :) i'd be chuffed to bits with this!

19.) Bar Halfords goals look how many chances he also had to score, someone like Graham, Wickham or even Fryatt would put them away, that's not calling Halford he's just not a striker, just my opinion COYR

20.) For the Graham haters, who do u want Messi, Ronaldo, he might b an instant hit, got to b better than Miller and Tudgay

21.) I wouldn't put tuds in the same sentence as Miller (oops I just did lol) - tuds never let us down and always 100% effort, I can't think of anything to say about the other one.

22.) I might be wrong but I don't think Connor wickham was "in the team and scoring" when Wednesday decided to take him on loan. He's done alright though.

So apparently lansbury not in right frame of mind to play well don't pay the twat then because if I don't turn up to work I don't get paid simple as that

red west

1.) 14 Jan 2017 17:16:57
If he isn't playing he's no good to us anyway. let's just get the most we can get and replace him.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 17:22:10
Well said buddy he's acting like a right bell end if he wants to go we understand the club is a mess but put the shirt on and play with pride till otherwise. Goes to show he don't really give a hoot .

I remember when we got relegated under clough and Roy Keane saying in the dressing room after game players laughing joking talking about where they were going for dinner. He expected them all to be hanging their heads in shame Goes to show lots of money thinking mercenaries and lansbury is one too .

After he had his bottom wiped today I wonder if he enjoyed his game of golf. Bet sum of his team mates are passed at him. I wouldn't want him standing alongside me in a battle he'd give us away with his constant dummy sucking.

3 televised matches 3 wins 9 scored 3 conceded maximum 9 points bagged and people can still moan really.

red west

1.) 03 Dec 2016 11:39:53
Madness isn't it. its as if some fans don't want us to win. or more to the point I think it's those who don't want pm here that continue to moan.

2.) 03 Dec 2016 14:04:49
I thought Fawaz was at fault for the 2 pens and our winning goal selling Darlow and Lascelles! There is just no pleasing some fans?

26 Aug 2016 22:15:15
Even we beat burton according to most doom and gloomers were crap its great to c the sheep struggling it makes me wonder what there fans think because they clearly think their far superior than us yet they have spent more than us and still can't get out this league proves money can't help so let's get behind the team and push on coyr.

1.) 26 Aug 2016 23:06:56
Mate it's August! Let's see if forest or derby finish higher come May eh!

2.) 26 Aug 2016 23:07:50
But Derby have Pearson who will guarantee you success. Ask skegs 😂.

3.) 27 Aug 2016 06:35:43
I know it's only one game and not even left August yet and I'm happy with the manager we've got and the team we seem to be building but everyone wanted Pearson and Derby would storm the league Don't think it will happen. 1978 posted the other day we've only beat Burton and Wigan and how deluded we are for being excited. Well Burton have now beaten sheff wed and Derby there last 2 games.

4.) 27 Aug 2016 07:08:56
Your right ibm i did want pearson as manager but even happier with pm 😁.

5.) 27 Aug 2016 08:51:43
Ryry
Keep your feet on the ground it's only August
there's a long way to go
anything could happen Fawaz might sack his soon like all the others.

6.) 27 Aug 2016 10:02:48
My feet are on the ground 1978 I don't think we will be in the top 6 realistically but I'm enjoying the start of the season definitely the first 2 home games have given me a few more grey hairs and a bit of a dodgy ticket but wouldn't have it any other way.

7.) 27 Aug 2016 12:10:04
Ryry
be careful they don't let people in the ground with dodgy tickets.

12 Aug 2016 22:05:38
Only 2nd game in and been hammered don't care what people say about got to let team gel but in this league you need to hit the ground running no time for gelling need to get summat from brentford to show others this game was just a blip.
