Osbourne for left back?

1.) 01 Feb 2018 21:50:55
No we have a Col Back!

2.) 01 Feb 2018 22:41:53
Yes they can both play left back and midfield which may explain no lb signing plus fox.osbourne spoke earlier about enjoying left back. Just asking.

3.) 02 Feb 2018 10:00:36
Article I read said AK may be in for free agent Garrido for left back.

02 Aug 2016 16:18:25
Swansea to sign Oliveira. Better offer?

1.) 02 Aug 2016 19:24:04
Nope. Better team!

2.) 02 Aug 2016 21:44:07
Traora out injured for sat that's a good start!

3.) 02 Aug 2016 22:33:39
Oh come on Bondster, lazy fan (or not) posting. read the site, he's not fit! Never was available for Saturday.

4.) 03 Aug 2016 12:50:36
Have a bad feeling about traore. He could be another fryatt.

5.) 03 Aug 2016 13:36:05
good positive thinking again!

6.) 03 Aug 2016 14:49:57
Kasami has signed one year loan his contract is expiring at the end of next season so maybe if all goes well permanent on a free next summer COYR.

7.) 03 Aug 2016 15:00:40
We have enough crocks already wonder if he's on pay as you play contract!

18 May 2016 17:28:57
Worrying news Mr Warnock and his team have left Rotherham.

1.) 18 May 2016 19:27:41
It will get even more worrying if the Greek investment falls through and Fawaz gets to pick the next manager.

2.) 18 May 2016 20:14:45
The problem is not who the owner picks, the problem is the owner likes to question the managers reasons for team selection.

3.) 18 May 2016 20:38:28
And how can you say that?

4.) 18 May 2016 21:02:48
It's not going to Warnock, considering who else is available!

5.) 18 May 2016 22:15:31
Just because there's a lot of good managers around at the moment without clubs, it doesn't mean that any of them are available to us, considering where we are and who our owner is!

6.) 18 May 2016 23:55:59
No need to worry as the managergoround is spinning faster.

Liverpool have bombed and had their worst season in years so Klopp will be available by the time we get sorted with a new owner!

7.) 19 May 2016 18:27:02

Unless Warnock is a liar, that is why he turned us down one time.

02 Sep 2014 16:31:42
Anyone spot the teat by some Aussie claiming to have signed for forest on titter site. Was it a trialist, a new signing or contract extension or just a feeble joke. Just wondered. Forgot the name too. Any one seen it?

1.) Yes his name is Josh McDonald I think. I think he is a youngster.

2.) Josh McDonald midfielder, plays for under 21's.

3.) Good luck to the lad. Getting a bit sceptical cause I have seen loads claiming to have signed.

4.) 100% true. Good friends with his sister in Australia. His name is Josh Macdonald. Used to play for Sydney FC.

5.) And he is a youngster. Will be playing for the U21's.

6.) 03 Sep 2014 08:55:52
Ed! Any news on the jack hobbs injury from the Sheffield weds game mate

{Ed001's Note - nothing certain yet, clubs like to keep injury news unclear so put out disinformation as it makes it difficult for opponents to plan for the next game if they can't be sure who is playing. I have heard everything from he will be fit and well for the next game to he will be out for a few months. Injuries are one of the most difficult areas to keep track of in football these days, there are very few people actually involved that can let details slip. Unlike transfers where it is in an agent's interests to get info out in the open to get their client a better offer. It is hard to know what can be trusted with injuries.}

27 Aug 2014 13:45:38
I heard that lascelles and Mr Darlow have clauses saying if Newky utd get relegated they can pull out of the transfer and forest can pay back the loan fee plus loss of interest to keep them if we get promoted I also heard that if that isn't the case it should have been so. especially for KD. Also in a few years when Newcastle are struggling with Fair play rules we will bung them a few million to balance their books.

{Ed034's Note - I was go and see a doctor if I was hearing stuff like that

1.) There was no loan fee so that's finished that rumour.

2.) I have not heard a story like this since Jackanory was on TV!

3.) 27 Aug 2014 21:33:22
Newky Broon perhaps?

4.) I have read this post several times and every time it has made me laugh. redsfanstan you are one funny dude

5.) I have booked in for my therapy. 3 points. Saturday should help

6.) The therapy is coming on well by the way

17 Jul 2017 02:07:19
A suggestion. Instead of paying a million for a cover defender (we need 1st team defenders I know) there is a player we can get for 1.5 million who is the best goal scorer in the division. No transfer fee required. Just a wage increase. If it doesn't work out we sell him next year. His name is Britt Assombolonga. You may know him. Cheap at the price and the extra wages come out of the three named elsewhere who will be leaving. Just a thought.

1.) 17 Jul 2017 06:13:43
I really don't understand the desperation in keeping BA? He was very poor last season apart from the Ipswich game. Others keep comparing him to Stan Collymore which is just laughable. I don't think we will miss him that much. It's a midfielder that we are in need of more than anything.

2.) 17 Jul 2017 06:52:38
Will be interesting to see if britt plays against snotts on wed with all this transfer talk about him don't want him injured to scupper any transfer or will he have picked up a slight knock in training and won't play!

3.) 17 Jul 2017 08:33:09
Britt is no Stan, I still dream about some of Stan's goals.

4.) 17 Jul 2017 11:13:31
Fans must remember that Britt was fired back into our first team last season before he was fit enough. It was obvious to all that he desperately needed a pre season but he soldiered on regardless trying to rediscover his touch and form.
He started to come good for the last 6 games or so and it was then we began to see his old form.
So all those Britt knockers, just remember he did his best under tricky circumstances and came good for us.

13 Jul 2017 14:13:22
If we got 15 mill for Britt 5 million goes to Peterborough he cost us 5. That leaves 5 mill profit for a player who could get us promoted and then be worth 60 million. If he goes to borough and they finish above us that costs us big time. Forest should keep him to his contract. If he wants to leave sell him to a premier league club and get a sell on clause. I want Britt to stay. Come on you reds!

1.) 13 Jul 2017 14:43:50
Couldn't agree more, we need to show ambition. not sell to a rival.

2.) 13 Jul 2017 14:57:06
I think he is simply awesome. don't want to lose him. My boy was so upset today when I told him Britt might leave.

3.) 13 Jul 2017 15:22:45
How do you know the exact details of the sell-on fee to Peterborough? I'd wager you don't.

We don't even know the break down of the Middlesbrough offer. How much is up front? How much for appearances? How much for promotion etc? We don't know. So to whine and criticize the deal using made up figures is a waste of everyones time.

4.) 13 Jul 2017 15:34:35
Well said wonky. All of a sudden every detail of his contract is known by loads of fans. Perhaps the same fans that were calling him last season for showing a total lack of interest? He will leave, we will still score goals and keep supporting. If it means keeping Ben Brereton for longer then great.

5.) 13 Jul 2017 15:39:39
Wonkyeyes we all know you don't rate britt.
Alot of us do though and while you will be happy when he's gone most of us won't.
So if we want to criticise, we will.
Just like you criticise Smith.
You never know you might get a top class goalkeeper you crave for with the money.

6.) 14 Jul 2017 10:32:37
Of course I rate Britt, I've just not got wet pants at the thought of him leaving like you lot. Britt is going, we can move forward or cry about it. I'll do the former and leave you to the latter.

02 Aug 2016 23:45:04
As a Forest fan who drank from the FA Cup in 1959 and supported Forest since birth, I reserve my right to talk tripe. My only point was about WHINGERS and WHINGING! Life is too short. I wish us all a great season and that we are all there to see us rise again. Bring your boots on Saturday, you might just get a game.

02 Aug 2016 16:06:33
Leeds interested in Hobbs and Norwich may be back for Britt after Mcwhosit signs for Villa. Hope they both don't mmake the mistake of leaving for lesser clubs. We only need players who want to plat for Forest. Brits comments after Antonio left reminded me of Vanheudonkey when Campbell left.

1.) 02 Aug 2016 16:34:32
I would be absolutely gutted if they sold Britt, and Leeds can "do one"!

2.) 02 Aug 2016 17:26:13
Get Hobbs off the wage bill, too injury prone and on a decent contract. We already have half a dozen centre-halves without him. I'd take anything around £1m if possible.

3.) 02 Aug 2016 19:30:37
I would be happy to see Hobbs go for money. He was excellent when on line and then the moment he signed, he's been injured or coming back from injury. In hindsight a terrible signing!

4.) 02 Aug 2016 19:51:18
Not really Hobbs looks solid whenever he plays Imo but just is never fit!

30 Mar 2016 19:30:27
I believe the Manager has been chosen and either agreed or being worked on. The man is currently engaged on an International task and will not be available until after the Euros . He is a man who some years ago would have been part of a dream team for Forest. Soon he will make his move. THE Reds will rise again. Be patient. There is always light at the end of the tunnel! Anyway we have to go theough tough times to appreciate the good times.

1.) 30 Mar 2016 20:15:48
Sounds good to me.

2.) 30 Mar 2016 20:24:44
Martin O'neil is not coming to Nottingham forest!

3.) 30 Mar 2016 20:44:51
You know that do you are you psychic no22 lol.

4.) 30 Mar 2016 20:52:25
Hes on the tv now . supervet.

5.) 30 Mar 2016 21:27:27
You all have it wrong the new manager will be Nabil Maâloul.

6.) 30 Mar 2016 22:22:54
If we are stuck with FAH you can say goodbye to a decent manager.

7.) 30 Mar 2016 22:49:03
Doom and gloom I say we all agree fawaz as got everything he has done wrong he's got one way to go and that's to get a decent manager gates up and us challenging for top 6 next season 5 year plan lol he's a business man so if he gets it wrong this time say goodbye to the business and all he's invested in I know what I would do and I think he knows what he needs to do onwards and upwards coyr.

8.) 31 Mar 2016 07:55:39
Think it's the ex Sheffield United manager, skegsjay ask your misses is he any good. Personally think he improved all the clubs he has managed, derby, burton, sheff utd. Think we need can get promotion from an ex player, I can see the headlines already.

9.) 31 Mar 2016 09:01:02
Good choice AG 😃.

10.) 31 Mar 2016 09:06:14
I rate nigel Clough he's done the lower leagues coaching he did well at Sheffield United and the other team would be happy with him.

11.) 31 Mar 2016 09:31:48
FAH will cut and run. Any European manager will have the nous to see he's a loser, so my guess is it will either be a foreign manager who nobody knows, or he keeps the same team in place as of now until he sells up, and then leaves the next person/ people to make a choice.

12.) 31 Mar 2016 10:56:21
Fawaz will go for Clough because it suits him financially to have you all buying season tickets, like you did with Pearce.

He wants to come and do the job and he's also a grade one patsy who will tow the line.

What more could you want. If you were Fawaz?

This one will come down to season tickets, player development and soothing your furrowed brows. It's the safe option and Fawaz can further with the FFP lie. Cardiff are a great example of what's possible if you have the cash and the will to get out of FFP. Our situation is perfect for Fawaz and all a great big con.

Get your money on Clough.

13.) 31 Mar 2016 11:38:06
No22 who do you follow/ support? You are talking about 'us' as if you are not a forest supporter?

14.) 31 Mar 2016 11:39:14
I rate Clough, 6 out of 10.

If you want ex players the best we can do i suppose.

15.) 31 Mar 2016 12:39:42
I'll buy me home and away season ticket regardless I support the club.

16.) 31 Mar 2016 13:03:46

I would buy my season ticket, though i can understand why some would not.

It however does not mean i have to like who comes in, obviously whoever comes in i want the club to succeed.

17.) 31 Mar 2016 15:27:38
Completely agree tomorrow more aimed at no.22 saying fawaz will appoint clough to sell tickets. I will buy a ticket regardless.

It's time we played people in their right positions Bremerton in the middle wasted on right. Lichen right back mills on bus .Warburton I supported but made strange decisions. We harrrdly played Cummings. They can't score if they don't play.

The 5 mill was on a tag line referring to a player Celtic were interested in. The internet huh?

{Ed007's Note - Neil Lennon did say it would take a bid of £4-5 million to get McGinn away from Hibs but I think what he meant was that the lad wouldn't be allowed to leave on the cheap. He's a cracking wee player right enough who I'd like to see at Celtic but we have an abundance of midfielders right now and he'd struggle for any game time.}

Ben Harper is probably available back at Leicester. Worth a punt. Remember we nearly got him before but for the embargo. Beware of Greeks bearing gifts.

I sat with my Dad in A block AM10 and AM11 for about twenty years behind a bloke who whinged and whinged and criticised the team. He stopped coming and then we won everything. We don't need supporters who whinge. let's be positive. We have to make the best of what we have and support the eleven picked for the team. Oh yes and keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Cant we have an Ed whose a Forest fan please and who isn't condescending to fans asking straightforward questions. Some people don't have time to read stuff from FL . No harm discussing legal ways to get round the embargo. Suppose you, support a team earning billions from the TV moneylaundering project.

{Ed001's Note - have you ever thought it was a joke? If you had ever read them you would know they are about as clear as mud and so boring you wouldn't read another if you had the choice.}
