Never a red card. Players covering. Just how many points are refs going to cost us this season? They say things even out over the course of the season. Well we are due some almighty luck in the last few games!

Had it happened at city ground against us I would have expected red, none of the other defenders were getting back in my opinion

Let's remember that we were after a striker BEFORE we sold Burke and this Dumitru is a LOAN.

Also Carayol on a free / nominal deal replaces Paterson (who we have just received over £1 million for) .

So this leaves the £13 million for Burke UNTOUCHED.

I think we will require at least 2 marquee signings to appease the fans and I am not talking about Carayol and Dumitru. not sure they will cut it with the fans.

Unless a Bamford, Nugent, Adomah type player comes in there may be trouble ahead.

Unfortunately Players hold all of the power nowadays, especially those in the final year of their contracts. DDV obviously wants to go to Celtic and join up with Brenda. Good luck to him and we move on. Henderson would have been understudy to DDV this season no doubt but now he has an opportunity to make the number 1 spot his own. At least he will play the majority of the games and get some vital experience NOW. We could have been in the position of DDV leaving on a free next summer and Henderson having to step up having played relatively few games. At least we were proactive in getting another keeper in BEFORE DDV left. Hendo just needs a few games to settle in .

Don't doubt he could be moving on but £3 million? For a player who has done nowt in a Forest shirt and only has 12 months left on his contract. Snap their hands off I say!

No not dropped but he does need some competition so we can let Evtimov out on loan to get some much needed experience. Also Dorus is 36 and only has a year left on his contract so well worth having a) decent back up b) experienced cover and at 28 Henderson could well succeed Dorus when he moves on/ calls it a day so makes sense to me on many levels. :-)

Nowt to do with any beer festival. It is because Notts County are playing at home on the Saturday and it is our (Forest's) turn to switch our fixture from the Saturday. We have had this a couple of times in the past couple of years, where the fixture list has both us and Notts due to play at home on the Saturday at 3pm. We take it in turns to switch and it is our turn. What bothers me more is the lack of Saturday 3pm kick offs AND the fact we are live on sky for FOUR SUCCESSIVE matches:- Sat 19/ 11 away to Ipswich 5.30pm; Fri 25/ 11 away to Barnsley 7.45pm; Fri 02/ 12 home to Newcastle 7.45pm; Sun 10/ 12 away to Derby 12pm. This to me is madness and means that from our last home game on a Saturday at 3pm (Norwich on 17th September) our next one is QPR on 5th November then our next after that is the 17th December. so just 3 games at home at 3pm in nearly 4 months. Absolutely crazy!

Exactly Perks. Two hard fought 2-2 away draws. Injured players to come back in. Scored 15 goals compared to Derby's 1. As players settle more things should continue to prove. 12 new players to bed in and yet we are still competitive on the pitch, picking up points and in the top half of the league. Granted we need to improve dramatically at the back (think the new Keeper will help with this once he settles too) and stop conceding so many goals. BUT it is entertaining football being served up, we look dangerous going forward so let's enjoy the attacking football (especially after all the dour games last season) take the rollercoaster ride and see where it takes us. Glass definitely HALF FULL for me! I am sure there is a club just down the A52 that would gladly swap places with us.

Spot on 1978. Thought McCormack or Ayew were going to score with one of those Freekicks that Kasami gave away. Think it was him who gave away freekick v Leeds too (from which they scored from) . I can't wait to see Pinillos back. Don't undersatnd why we extended Fox's contract tbh. don't rate him as a left back and don't need him at centre back as we have centre halves coming out of our ears (Mance, Perquis, Mills, Hobbs plus worrall and Lacovitti coming through.

Tim Erlansson played in goal for the U21's yesterday NOT Evtimov.

Nick26 - you have the luxury of watching Forest over a number of years I am guessing? Montanier has had a couple of weeks so no doubt wants to run the rule over his squad and any potential young uns he sees as being good enough to step up to the 1st team squad. No doubt he will also be making his mind up about other players in the squad that he does not fancy and may want to move on too. he said as much in his press conference. I have no problem with this as it will help him decide what he needs for the team which he can then buy in before the window closes at the end of August or via the loan market. We need to be patient for a little while longer yet.
