Just a thought, if we get a free kicks just outside the box, I hope RM doesn't take them, he won't be able to get it over the wall 😬

Surely RM won't be playing Saturday as it's his parent club just a thought.

2.) 02 Feb 2017 18:41:42
I didn't mean on Saturday, just in general. a bit of light hearted jesting. while we can! Just another thought 😉.

I think RM met a brick wall called Steve Bruce, and so has decided rather than try to scale it, walk around it!

Well, must say I'm not really surprised. But, if the yanks did only offer half, as has been reported, then to be honest, I'm not surprised he told them to do one! Business is business etc, BUT, if FAH wanted what was best for 'the long term future' then why didn't he put a clause in place for the remaining 25 mill?

25m down payment now, then staged payments over next few years or a full payment on promotion to PL. surely that would of been best for the 'long term future' ? Plus he would of still had his 20%! Or maybe the yanks just do this as routine ie Everton and Swansea. Maybe we will never know.

I just don't understand how, with the odd exception, the players don't appear to care! I remember playing pub football and 5 aside, and we always wanted to win ( we didn't very much, but hey ho! ) but everyone tried their best and had much more fight and passion. I thought it was something that came naturally, even when we played a charity game every Boxing Day, we would all have a laugh and take the pi55 out of each other before the match, but as soon as it started you ' got into it' and wanted to win! Perhaps today's players are just cosseted from a very young age and believe in their own impotence after years of not living in the real world. If only someone with some balls could come in and get rid of the people who don't play for the badge, regardless of the legal fallout I'm sure would follow regards to contracts etc our defence should be : he didn't care enough for his employers or his colleagues, so we don't want him, end of " if only this could happen, then at least future players would know they had to give everything or they'd be out. Wishful thinking I know, but the right time of year to dream I suppose!

The problem is quite straightforward! To footballers, it's just a job. nothing more! To fans it's there escape!

2.) 18 Dec 2016 09:36:28
The crocs we have out on the pitch don't care: the youngsters do. Simples.

3.) 18 Dec 2016 11:11:45
WE have been left with a load of Freebies and injured players by a man who boasted about being a millionaire and having the lifestyle to go along with it when in reality he lived on an a allowance from his family . The new owners should stick with what we have now until the end of the season there will be a lot of players who will end their contracts the loan players will go back, by which time we will see what younger players we have that can step up to the mark. any players still under contract should be assessed as to their worth to the club and if not valued either sold or released and contracts paid up. Only then can we start to rebuild.

4.) 18 Dec 2016 13:59:07
I know to them it's just a job, and I suppose the point I was making was if a bunch of pub players have a mentality to win, or at least try their best, why don't the pros? I thought it was human nature! It really is the worst thing for a fan to see your players not caring.

Well, as well as the geordies detesting us at the min, even sky have got in on the act! During an ad break on sky last night, they advertised some live games coming up, and, no joke, they advertised ' Derby v Notts Forest ' ! WTF? I had to rewind to check, but they really had! Mrs devil wondered why I was annoyed ! I tried to explain, but she didn't get it and thought I was ' overreacting ' ! Please back me up here, so I can show her! Have emailed sky too, and hope others do too!

"Nott" on your Nanny! Absolute sacrilege!

2.) 08 Dec 2016 07:33:18
If I get a minute I wish to email to. It is very poor and unprofessional.

Well, it's never boring being a Forest fan! What will we do if takeover goes through smoothly and everything settles down at the CG, both on and off the pitch? No one will post on here!

And in 3 years time fans will complain they can't get a ticket to watch Barcelona.

2.) 17 Oct 2016 09:41:51

3.) 17 Oct 2016 14:40:48

Nffc is a brand, and as one of only 5 English clubs to be. European champions, then yes, worth 50 mill. Famous throughout the world, and that, you can't buy. Well you can, but you know what I mean!

I'm no fan of FAH, but if he offered the CEO role to someone, and they turned it down, for whatever reason ( cue the ' because of Fawas' responses) at least it shows he is trying to put a structure in place, and keeping us informed, even when he probably knows he will get slated as it's not the news we want to hear. There were many moans before that we were always kept in the dark. FAH has an awful long way to go before anyone will start to feel positive about him, he knows that, but he's got to start somewhere.

On one of the Newcastle blogs, they are moaning like anything! Wanting the game replayed or even being given the 3 points! Yeah, righto lol! They can't wait till we play them again soon, think the atmosphere may a little tense to say the least! If I was Lansbury, I'd fall over straight away at the slightest touch, just to rile the mardy geordies even more! They are saying they want to ' smash us 6 nil! as I pointed out, even if they did, it's still 3 points each. That went down well with the 50 mill parachute payment whinging barcodes. Oh well, such is life! Let's hope Lansbury scores the winner off his knot end in the last minute. While blatantly offside but missed by the lino!

I would of thought that as a price of 50 mill has been provisionally agreed, this would surely include the top players as ' assets ' in the business ? So if say FAH sold Britt and Lansbury in Jan for say, 15 mill, the prospective new owners would take this into account, with the price or even pull out? Bit of a risk as he could end up with 15 mill instead of 50 if they pull out. ( and worse, still be owner! ) But, it is Fawas!
