1.) 09 Aug 2018 16:29:51
Bit stingy would hold out for more

2.) 09 Aug 2018 17:17:07
I don't think we should sell him.

3.) 09 Aug 2018 17:32:12
No statement saying it has been rejected. Is 5m about his money? I think it probably is tbh.

4.) 09 Aug 2018 18:01:33
I wouldn't sell. Unless we were bringing in another forward of quality. Even then I'd want 5m plus 20% sell on fee
Plus another 2m after set apps and goals.

5.) 09 Aug 2018 18:46:24

6.) 09 Aug 2018 18:19:27
Snap their hands off! Quick!

7.) 09 Aug 2018 18:55:32
Slap 10 million on him, that'll see the bidders off.

8.) 09 Aug 2018 23:17:15
But then we will be stuck with him ?

9.) 10 Aug 2018 08:14:49
His potential asking price will increase during the course of the season.

31 Aug 2016 15:17:27
Paul Taylor saying Lica joining and that is likely to be the end of incoming business for the day. Bendtner and Morrison unlikely. Lars possibly on the way out and Tyler Walker to Stevenage on a season long loan.

1.) 31 Aug 2016 15:39:11
That being the case. how much of the £15 m for Burke, Paterson and De Vries has been reinvested? We are now 7 hours ish away from one empty seat for the rest of the season. Not spending my money if the club can't. Please make me eat humble pie Fawaz!

2.) 31 Aug 2016 15:44:38
Fawaz is waste of time he's lied to us again Fawaz get out.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 15:49:33
I can only assume that his big news will be Britt and Lansbury signing new deals. Down to me I'd have sold Lansbury as he doesn't merit a pay rise. We needed a striker that scores goals it's quite simple. We have a long list in Dex, Fryatt, Vesillios, Lars and now Dimitru that just don't.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 15:57:17
FAWAZ promised a signing that would make us 'top 6', then sells Burke and says all will become clear by Wednesday. I for one have always supported FAWAZ and have given him the benefit of the doubt, however as we are being informed that is likely to be that - where is the marquee signing? I sincerely hope that FAWAZ has not duped every single supporter and we are made to eat our words! Still time for one to come under the radar. Not impressed with the signings so far - although I like Carayol, he is certainly not as good as burke therefore we have weakened our squad.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 16:12:03
Duped again. Another transfer deadline day which promised much and delivered very little yet again!

6.) 31 Aug 2016 16:26:41
Not defending Fawaz as I agree he's a fool but when is Paul Taylor ever right about anything? He gets all his stories off Twitter.

7.) 31 Aug 2016 16:34:50
Ulloa going somewhere. He is 30 years old so maybe a chance of moving down? Not sure of his value? Him or Rhodes or Grigg? We need another goal scorer. Surely a bid of £8m would be enough for Ulloa or Rhodes?

8.) 31 Aug 2016 16:45:41
So you guys don't ever think fawaz should have any of his millions back he has put into the club? It's 1 teenage player that has been sold for a huge profit. Happens everywhere. Get a grip and calm down.

9.) 31 Aug 2016 16:58:51
I think I read somewhere that ulloa is joining or has joined Swansea. I don't think Rhodes will want to drop back down to the championship so I would take a punt on Lee gregory from Millwall. scores goals.

10.) 31 Aug 2016 17:01:18
I totally agree that Fawaz should be able to get his money back and that the club should be run self-sufficiently as some other clubs do.

However when Fawaz makes statements like he has, that is not right if he does not deliver. I however do not think that will be the case and we will sign one of Gyan, Rhodes or Ulloa befor 11pm.

There has to be a marquee signing, the quality is not there so far.

11.) 31 Aug 2016 17:10:38
Read that we are favourites for Rhodes - one of the betting sites. No idea if there is any substance to it.

12.) 31 Aug 2016 17:15:23
There is not much chance the club will even pay back the interest on FAH's loan. Our best hope is that someone buys him out, but it won't be the Greek bloke. Meanwhile the club continues to slide down the tubes. Can anyone really see a way out of this mess?

13.) 31 Aug 2016 17:24:40
If fawas as screwed us over we need to boycott next home game and every game until he's gone. If he wanted to get some of his money back then that's Upto him. But the deal he took for Burke was ridiculous. Should have had loan back and sell on fees. So unless he brings in a marquee signing of the likes of rhoades he weakened side.

14.) 31 Aug 2016 17:43:50
I don't think it's the fact that Burke was sold that has annoyed most people (as we knew it was probably coming. ) I think the fact that Fawaz has come out on Twitter and said blatantly that it's going to be reinvested into the squad, and that the last time we sold important players we got Antonio and Assombalonga. And now we have spent the money on no one.

No disrespect to the players that have come in, let's see how they play first, but we needed that marquee signing to please fans, and it's looking like it's not coming.

15.) 31 Aug 2016 18:15:16
Well said V1P3R.

16.) 31 Aug 2016 18:21:04
Oddschecker says Rhodes going nowhere 1-4 to stay at Middlesbrough. We are way down in the betting at 25-1.
The poster saying we favs to sign him must be making it up.

17.) 31 Aug 2016 18:37:09
Not making it up at all. Just posting what I read. I didn't say I believed it!

18.) 31 Aug 2016 18:38:52
Lad brooks news article if you still don't believe me.

19.) 31 Aug 2016 19:04:48
F A WAZZ do you really think middlesborough will except 8 mill when they probrably payed 10+ for rhodes! i also am waiting for a marquee signing but if it doesn't come i will still support the reds as it is my club and it runs through my veins no matter how bad it gets i am FTID!

20.) 31 Aug 2016 19:20:15
Same here mate. hopelessly devoted to them too!

31 Aug 2016 09:53:41
Paul Taylor now clarified his comment and said Guy Moussi back at the City Ground for an opposition team not Forest. Thank goodness!

Just seen Nixon stating get ready for east mids meltdown n it involves Derby selling Martin 1st so that better not mean assombalonga to them 😡.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 12:51:21
That would end it for me. Already making me miserable. But that! Would have to seriously think about not bothering for health reasons.

My mate who is a Spurs season ticket holder and gave us his tickets (and set elsewhere with another mate) said he saw the difference being Spurs' bench vs ours and that the subs were the difference and we tired too. I pointed out our true bench was already on the pitch. Thought Tesche did well again when he came on.

Spurs fans were very complimentary about Lars. They thought he unsettled their play and was partly responsible for them panicking and mis-hitting paces. They commented if he had a bit more pace Spurs would have been in real trouble. I thought he did ok. Not Brit but did his job and held his own.

If you want negativity you should have been in the Spurs end (my wife is a Spurs fan). They said we looked like Brazil in comparison to them. Forest always first to the ball and showed commitment. Spurs lacklustre. Fans around said Spurs would only score from distance. De Vries had no chance with their first - I was behind that goal. Only when their subs come on did they have some ideas and pace and all agreed they would not have unlocked. Us if the Mason goal had not sparked them. It was a shame not to see Britt and Antonio play; we would have nailed them as they were disorganised and had no confidence after West Brom.
