Hi all
Didn't watch the game on iFollow, was tucked up in bed afer my cocoa, it was bit late for an oldy like me
Sunday morning routine:
Get up, take the dog out, put the kettle on, open BBC Sport for results, carefully not looking at others until I scroll to Forest, open up, read report
Oh dear, another leaky defence job
Read the banter page, watch the highlights (? ), more absolute awful defending, and then onto Matchday with Max
The space we give some attackers is criminal, fundemental defending is at least being close to your man, even a low level football you see that
Summary? Lucky that Bolton didn't get a draw, is there somethng wrong with our training?
One for Redinexile:
How many Manchester United fans does it take to change a lightbulb?
Three - the first to change the light bulb, the second to buy the commemorative Manchester United Light bulb Change DVD, and the third to drive the other two back to London.
Good luck with the snow, dropped to 25 C here, brrrh!

Lol,brilliant Man u joke there Trevor love it!

2.) 10 Dec 2017 16:05:45
Trev
I see Southgate is lining up a friendly against Iceland as a World Cup warm up? If we win that one he then intends to play Tesco and Asda before the finals!

3.) 10 Dec 2017 22:27:45
Great stuff Redinexile, keep em coming fellow trickies!

4.) 13 Dec 2017 02:24:54
Tried to keep them coming but my last submission didn't appear (Ed?)
I don't want to think that Redinexile was ignored
Warburton? Not sure, I'll give him until early February before I decide. The rest of his month and January will be key in results and new faces COYR

{Ed001's Note - nothing else came through mate.}

5.) 14 Dec 2017 00:48:33
What Ed, did it get snowed in? Never mind
I looked at Redinexile and StokeyRed profiles, saw both must be from my era judging by their favourite players, mine at that time would have been Henry Newton
Another joke (for the Eds, come on lads its Christmas, smile) –
I was playing Football Manager on my PC when I was offered the Scotland job. I knew it was a poor squad with no future, so I declined the offer. I then put the telephone down and returned to Football Manager.
BTW, is there not a limit to the numbers of use of the word ‘fornicator’? Wisheyeddove must have used up a years worth but his comments were pretty good actually
Merry Christmas all and steady on the sherry!

Another very good signing at an almost laughable price in todays market.
Me, I'm expecting play-offs as a minimum and will be booking my flights to suit
Ed - you never answered whether I could post a contact? In any case if there are other Forest Reds in the Philippines please look up my place - Jotay Resort, as far north as you can go. Please get in touch.

Finally got iFollow to work last night (is it me, or is it just difficult to open due to lack of instructions? )
No commentary which is good so you can hear the crowd especially getting on Britts back! Made me smile, mind he made chances that he should have put away
Impressed with the first half, nice football, good shape, Dowell is classy, Smith looked confident to me too.

Second half we let them run at us and we had no bite in midfield, also we need a defender who can challenge and actually win a header.

Now when you read these posts about Osborn and he’s good or not I can add my bit – how many times does he receive a ball and end up playing it backwards? I couldn’t rate him as good on what I saw
Ed – a question – can I post on here a link/ contact for any other Forest supporters in the Philippines like me?

No your right mate. "tricky" at first! No pun intended!

Beach duties today, feet in the sand, head at the City Ground 4000 miles away. COYR
No longer do I dread looking at the results on a Sunday morning!
Thanks to all posters, the feelings of fans about the club, owner and players are the only ones I have trust in.

I've just read the Danny Mills comments about SP and much as I dislike him I'm sorry to say much rings true. Mind, if he made these comments in August though it would have shown more knowledge instead of being clever in hindsight.
I've said before on this page, I'm a long, long way from the City Ground and I read the comments for and against SP with much interest. For me, the most disturbing things are comments about our tactics, round pegs and substitutions and I'm also torn for SP - heart and head disagree but ultimately a change now would not be good, even if I thought different earlier.
I'm a bit worried for the Derby game, but after all, it's the season that counts not one local match. Difficult if you live in Nottingham I know and it will never be just another game but will it be the final straw for many Reds if we lose, or even worse, get hammered?
A drop in attendances would be fatal to our long term plans too.

1.) So basically the players stopped playing for him, that does sound a bit like what's happening at the moment.
Jus shows how much footballs rule what happens at clubs, if they can start well and win matches why do they decide they don't like the tactics and start underperforming as the wow factor of Pearce has worn off?

2.) Agreed. I have remained optimistic all season but that has now worn thin. We will lose today, the lads will have a good crack at it but Derby will be tactically superior. 3-1 Derby.

3.) Uptheforest: We haven't played well all season, but with Reidy involved early on & teams allowing us to play we got a few results. Once teams realised pressing us and suffocating our midfield was the answer, the rest is history. We haven't successfully devised a plan B & attitude of the players reflects this.

10,000 kms, 3 planes and 30 hours to get over to see the Brentford game, what a shambles. Senior players without discipline ( Cohen, Lichaj, Lansbury) , without any influence (Gardner) , hopeless (Mendes) and a centre forward who is too slow and has no presence.
I can only think of one thing for the day, and that was it was quite warm and sunny.
Booing your own players? Unheard of, BC will be turning in his grave.
The manager apologising for the performance, obviously out his depth too.
I'm so disappointed in the whole set up and apparent lack of effort, so much so I'm skipping the other games I was due to see in order to lie on a beach in the Canaries!
A Red since 1964, of course I always hope for an upturn sometime, will it be in my lifetime?
Cheers to all contributors, you keep me informed and amused.

Agreed, Wiziwig is often good for finding games live, and you can also try to find the BBC channels for MOTD and TFLS but these are not obtainable in some countries. It can be quite troublesome finding live Forest so sometimes the radio is the only means
