You've heard it here first, Messi coming to Forest as he wants to semi-retire and spend time on the bench watching all the senior citizens in unsponsored red shirts (too difficult to have the local charity on them apparently) walk about and posing. He also heard too that there are some very good parks in the city where you can meet lots of young people and spot future talent as they kick empty beer cans around.
I use to have to look at the NP for news of my city, now I just have to look at the BBC for matters about Nottingham
I'm in two minds whether to continue the IFollow or whatever the new one is to be called, unless we start to play to win, not lose.

Hi all
As I am a long way from the UK and Nottingham I read this page to get a true opinion of players - supporters are not stupid and know who can play, who are past it and who can't be bothered. Forget the NP with their poor reporting and 'player rating'.
I watched the Reading game on iFollow - the lack of direction from the touchline was my concern, we conceded the game and just gave up. As others have said there is no attacking intent or any tactical changes made. There were Reading players I had never heard of showing what youth and energy can impressively give.
The mistakes of the past can't be changed but the persistent selection of players who fail to make an impression is a mindset that needs to be changed, that's the managers job - if they don't do it then drop them and remind them of the supporters opinion of them.
Its never the wrong time to change manager either, so CH needs reminding of the (general) thoughts about him too - buck up, be dynamic or move on, or maybe you are not up to it?

Long time since I posted but I do read every day, love the comments and banter and informative posters.
More truthful and honest appraisals than anywhere else.
Heart attack when I saw Villa 5 (oh no) jeez, Forest 5, couldn't wait until I could catch some highlights.
Awful defending and goal keeping, what do they practice during the week?

Took my time opening the computer this morning, on to a sports page, hiding from headlines, straight to results, Nottingham Forest 4, Arsenal 2, OMG, look at all the clips and goals, proud of that performance
The atmosphere in the ground must have been fantastic, you lucky people who were there, I saw some Arsenal fan clips who were complimentary to us too
Was Warburton watching I wonder?
Good interview with Brazil at the end, thought he was very modest
Skill is needed but mindset and motivation are a necessary part of all players, to me it showed

I can’t support Liverpool even though they are a British team.
Their comments when we turfed them out of Europe in 1979 became spiteful in 1980 when Keegan was playing at Hamburg, wishing us to lose.
Even the press went on and on about it, how great if an Englishman was to pick up a second European winners medal but with a different club

Sorry Eds, can't agree, standing has been done in Germany for years, have a look at Dortmunds famous yellow wall
As pointed out, you can buy a seat and stand all game as everyone in front is doing it
The answer is small controlled areas
Its not like the old days of Kops where people peed down because the toilets were non existent
And yes, I was at Hillsborough too, and yes there was incompetence, not just the 3 mentioned above but a complete lack of stewardship too

Yes, whilst all you guys are tucked up in bed I very, very tentatively opened up the results on my Sunday morning.Correct, we did win 2-0 at top team Wolves, amazing, not at all expected. From all reports the way we played was excellent too. Correct again Retford, this is what supporting Forest is all about, big, big smile all day long from me
