Steve Hodge told it how it was about AK ,s go at the Forest Fans ,Hodge as aways was spot on with his comments but the the usual suspects Wray,Clapson ,and Taylor have all swung behind AK ,know who I listen to.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster one week brilliant display the next terrible surely he only has to look back at the games we have played well were the games we played attacking football we can all blame the goalkeeper but when you sit back and let teams come at you .you after have a good defence and definitely a good goalkeeper and pants is average so until we get our defence and goalie sorted out surely the way forward would be offensive tactics I think the Portuguese lads will also benefit from this Murphy definitely missing and definitely think soudani should be starting and at least bridcutt used as a sub I'm no manager not even good on the PlayStation lol but surely he should know his best 11 now apart from injury he should be picking that 11 every week I just can't work this man out and surely the players get confused with him were a long way off play offs if he Carrys on with the sit back tactics as we haven't the players to play that way attack attack attack for me

22 Oct 2018 11:23:41
Spot on comments Skegs.

22 Oct 2018 12:36:01
For a goalie the size of pants he's really crap at coming out for crosses he should command that box not be a spectator, we're still in a better position than last season just need some consistency from the players

22 Oct 2018 12:36:30
Hi Skegs, have you been for a dip this morning sea is bracing this time of year. Totally agree with you mate.

22 Oct 2018 14:28:37
Lol 51 I can honestly say I've not been up to the sea in skegs for probably 3 years and I'm only a 10 minute walk away the problem is his every time I go to go for a walk up there the pubs get in the way and I end up staying in them and stumbling back home lol

22 Oct 2018 15:19:18
My tip is don’t read the local rag mate - total baffoons filling column inches . I’ve even noticed how the headline (to draw you in) is barley representative of the subsequent article. It is simply a ploy to draw you in, so you click on the article - Ching ching for the advertising revenue from the pop ups that you activate. I think you can make your own conclusions about the game with out their help buddy.

22 Oct 2018 15:51:03
CARLO, don't know if it's still the case, l was led to believe that local rag printed in Derby and owned by Daily Mail . Just to let you know that their is a Football League paper which is available from news agents Sunday morning, it's no Football Post but it's decent enough with all football league matches no premiership though.

I have two worries bout this side.
One we are always intent on sitting back and trying to defend a lead. We seem to be doing this fairly well but towards the end of the match we start to loose shape and become jittery and we end up drawing ( WBA. Millwall) or losing. The same thing happend against Newcstle and Stoke although we somehow won those games. Secondly our defenders havn't scored a single goal. This has been a problem for a few years now. Bring back Mills then maybe we can get a few goals from him.

Playing two holding midfielders is my problem, the idea being to protect the back four?
Well it's not working we concede anyway,so either the back four is very poor or the holders aren't doing their job?,either way it's not working and it's time for a change of tact8cs.

22 Oct 2018 10:42:29
Any manager who continually picks pantimillon and the 3 amigos is an idiot end of. As for 2 holding midfielders at home. Dreadful set up and is boring. We have been lucky in a lot of games where we have scraped something. Saturday was the big one to show that forest are the real deal and can mount a challenge. Pathetic. As for criticising the fans he is either dillusional or a fool or both!!!!

22 Oct 2018 08:00:14
What do l say about next game, cannot give a forecast, do l say we will win. Better leave my rose tinted glasses on, it all looks rosy to me now. The reason fans give their opinions is that they are bitterly disappointed, realistic and devoted, we have had season after season of poor performance on the pitch. A Scottish club got rid of all their players at the end of last season and replaced them with players from northern England on frees. Turned out to be a disaster, so it could be a lot worse.

Almost a third of the season gone and after a dismal display on Saturday what positive's can we take from this season ? not many , we are 1 point better off than this time last season and providing we get 6 points from our next three matches ( we were on 24 points after 16 matches last season ) we will stay 1 point better than last season , the gelling time for AK is now over, this is his team he's been given a free hand in the transfer market and spent around £25 million plus free transfers and I dread to think what our wage bill is !! but apart from Collback and Lolley I can't see much improvement since he's been at the club, I wonder what the owners will do if we have around the same points as last season come Christmas time when he will have been in charge for a year , I'm not looking for them to sack him ( I wouldn't mind if they did ) but after the dire display and AK's excuses blaming the fans and singling out Joe Lolley after the match as being poor he isn't doing himself any favours .

22 Oct 2018 11:04:04
If you look at the big picture regarding performances, team selection and purchases, its not a pretty one. Have we ever dominated a game under AK? have we showed any real attacking flair and threatened many goals?? Apart from Lolley who is class we are shot shy and very predictable. Teams are a reflection of the coaching staff and its all sluggishly boring. If you look at wba under darren moore or birmingham millwall etc they are strong sharp organised and totally committed. We get halfway up the pitch and run out of ideas. I guarantee you this none of the portuguese lads would get anywhere near the 1st eleven of those teams above us.

22 Oct 2018 12:42:13
If forest sack ak who do you replace him with

22 Oct 2018 07:23:31
"Cost us" Pantilimon was the weakest link on Saturday. I was sat facing his six yard line. For the first goal he was already crouched down in the begging position waiting for the cross to drop into his hands instead of going to meet the ball, their lad nipped in front of him and scored. A decent keeper would've held the shot for their second, instead he parried it and the same lad buried it. His booking was a joke as well, if you ain't got a short pass on, launch it. Time for the giant, static, point costing lump to hang his gloves up or just chuck them in the bin.

Rather see Smith between the sticks, makes mistakes yeah but he's young and he will learn from them, pants is pure crap, sunderland got rid of him, watford too, there's good reason he's absolutely garbage

21 Oct 2018 21:34:58
Imperative changes for Wednesday ;Bench Pants Heferle watson, dias, grabban, dariwka

Steele

If Robinson not available then Fox to left back and dawson and Fig centre Janko right

Midfield, Colback plus one of Guediora, Bridcutt and one of the two new midfielders on the bench.

Got to include Lolley

21 Oct 2018 23:17:55
I'd be inclined to play Yacob and Tachtsidis. Yacob to get stuck in and Tachtsidis to do summet with the ball.

Yesterday I went to the match full of optimism. The crowd were really up for it. Full house in full voice.
First ten minutes we were very good. High press. Tackles won. Movement up front culminating in a cracking ball from Carvallho and a neat if slightly missed kicked finish.

THAT'S WHERE IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL FAST. apart from a bit of brilliance by Lolley.
So where did it go wrong?
A goalkeeper, I use the term lightly because he is the worst I have ever seen in a Forest shirt going way back to the mid sixties. A second rate right back who should be secobd choice.

A left back who cannot play in that position as much as he tries and a centre half ( Hefele) who has now had two awful home games.
Moving forward or should I say sideways, we have two ultra defensive midfielders who cannot play together, a right midfielder who couldn't tackle a marshmallow and a centre forward who did nothing after scoring.

No blame to Fox and Lolley and I thought Carvallho did ok ish.
All of the above meant we were yet again dreadful and under the circumstances I thought the crowd were still behind them.

So when I heard Karankas interview, I was disgusted with the man.
He is not fit to manage our fantastic club. 27000 Forest fans served an ultra defensive load of drivel once again and he has the audacity to have a go at us. Appalling. The team will continue to have my support of course but AK can bloody well do one for all I care.
Thumbs down from me!

Great post. Absolutely spot on!

21 Oct 2018 23:18:59
Another one overreacting to Karnkie's comments.

22 Oct 2018 08:53:25
Ak’s comments were a diversionary tool to deflect criticism from the team but most of all himself , he got it wrong Saturday, but credit where it’s due Norwich were excellent, people do tend to forget nobody had more goes at the forest and derby fans than the great man himself, but he did it from a position of strength generally Ak got loads to prove and his team needs to win more games clough was a one off and had a glittering track record having a dig at the fans is a very risky strategy hope he can back it up

21 Oct 2018 19:17:28
Ups and downs, consistent with a competitive league. For all of AK's 'brilliance' achieving the Boro result, sandwiched by the poor Millwall and Norwich games. Soon be Xmas, then we'll all have a clearer picture. Manager for a full season and still in or around the play offs or more upheaval. I know what I'm hoping for. FTID.

We'll be mid table Scouse, four wins from thirteen isn't good enough to be in the top half and a quarter of the season gone already, you have to put a run of wins together to be up there and we simply aren't capable of doing that.

21 Oct 2018 18:03:02
Shame Cardiff won yesterday, warnock would be perfect for us

Can understand the manager going on about the forest fans it's true we get behind the team at the wrong times, beginning of the game great if we score great, but when we are struggling or lose a goal nothing that's when we need to get behind our beloved forest. I don't want to here the away fans singing. so let's drown them out.

21 Oct 2018 16:13:50
totally agree
Its easy to be singing and noisy when winning.
Support is about helping the team in tough moments
Lets wait for the I want to be entertained before I sing or make a noise brigade to reply though

21 Oct 2018 16:20:02
Most grounds in the country will go quiet when their team is under the cosh like we were for most of the 2nd half yesterday, crowds feed off the intent of their team, far to often our team is in a negative mode so the crowd reflects that by being subdued

21 Oct 2018 17:06:44
Absolutely rubbish crowds are responsive to the team as are the team responsive to the crowd we are sometimes lacking as a crowd to spurr the team on
We should be the12th man but we fall short

21 Oct 2018 17:38:59
If a teams under cosh The crowd can get them lifted easily.
Imagine it being quiet as a player then suddenly 20.000 fans start singing. It gives most players that extra spring in their step Which can be the twelth man

21 Oct 2018 17:55:37
Red always can do but hardly happens anywhere

21 Oct 2018 18:24:58
Well I got to say lads around me in A block never stop singing it’s the area of the ground where the bloke who is lecturing us took his name from the Trent end that let's the ground down most and anyway all this is garbage the players should do the business with or without fan noise it’s karanka deflecting the responsibility for yet another poor home display I don’t know what his win ratio is at the club but am guessing it must be disappointing.

21 Oct 2018 18:19:41
Your all right and your all wrong yes the fans could be the 12th man and lift the side but what they can't do is pick the players for the team and decide who comes on and who Gos off as subs and if the football had been more attacking like at Middlesbrough than sitting bloody back we would of gone on to win that game without the 12th man trying to lift the team there was only one person to blame for yesterday and that was the manager he's like Jekyll and Hyde you don't know what he's going to be doing week from week apart from pick the 3 amigos 2 of which should be bench starts every game or just send them back to there parent clubs we will see what happens in the next game probably win 8 nil

21 Oct 2018 18:54:53
Good post skeg. Decisions yesterday lacked Decisiveness across the board. The goal keeper and the defence lack faith in each other and the goals we concede show a total lack of telepathy between them (an essential trait for success). We looked ok for ten mins early doors, thereafter Norwich unpicked us slowly but surely, a bit of master class really with goals scored at excellent times. Karanka’s take note please.

21 Oct 2018 20:06:45
Tells you what the tactics are when our goalie?? Gets booked for time wasting in the 49th minute.
Not the first time and won't be the last.

21 Oct 2018 15:12:13
If we don,t go on a run now I think AK has burnt his bridges ,you don,t bite the hand that feeds you [ and your brother ]
