Additional things learnt as seen fit in my opinion:
Origi will never score or provide an assist. Use him in injury situations only or preferably send him to the USA to take up a career in American football.

Never select Omabamadele again except in emergencies. Explore offers from Championship/ League 1

We are missing Worrall and McKenna on set pieces and corners. Felipe looks finished?

Reyna to take corners when selected but needs to contribute more (first start so should get better)

Don't pass to Williams in a scoring position - have a go yourself or use other flank.

Only pick Danilo in home fixtures.

Trigger clause to get Emanuel Dennis back from Watford loan and get some value for money.

Make sure Murrillo doesn't leave in the summer and try him further up the field?

Terrible squad rhr. There is a decent 11 in there but it’s a terrible squad. Same team old mistakes from the club, signing very poor players. In their defence what can they do though? The rules and the need To train players to be athletes means you have to have a lot of players due to them getting injured so often, yet the rules stop you from spending. Those restrictions mean it’s always going to be quantity over quality. Others will legitimately argue that other clubs, Brentford, Fulham, wolves, etc are all in the same boat. I personally feel we’ve been shocking in the transfer market,

14 Apr 2024 10:49:49
With points deduction there is politics to consider, although it is obvious that in black and white points should be deducted from the big clubs.
BUT, that would be a worse position than a large fine, so all said and done path of least distruction.
We have it in us to avoid relegation, just be positive.

14 Apr 2024 11:06:44
Worrall is done for Forest. McKenna I would consider in the squad if the opposition we were playing were reasonably sluggish; he’s got the turning circle of a cruise liner, so that would be hardly ever, lol.
Boly needs to come in.
Williams seemingly cannot strike a ball with any ferocity, as again was shown yesterday.
Reyna needs to take corners regularly, agreed.

14 Apr 2024 13:57:09
I think Williams was carrying an injury yesterday, don’t know what has happened to elanga, so Williams had to play.

14 Apr 2024 08:47:58
Never thought Martin Keown would give Forest any sensible advice but what he said in match of the day was spot on our marking from corners is all over the place!

4 players marking zones and 6 players supposedly man marking Chris Wood one of our best headers of a ball running out to his man not even looking at the ball loses the header! 2 pts lost!

If our set piece coach is still at the club put him and Clattenberg on a boat on the Trent sailing very slowly in the direction of China

If we do nothing else this week Nuno sort out defending from corners because atm every time the opposition get a corner it's mayhem in that defence

Who scores most goals from set pieces our next opponents Everton.

Shame we didn't have Reyna taking corners and MGW heading the feckers in since Xmas.

Loads of us said MGW should stop taking them. What a waste of a resource.

So what did we learn?

1. Felipe and Boly's experience is important.

2. MGW isn't the best corner taker (everyone apart from the 2 coaches worked that out months ago).

3. We could easily go down.

Add as you see fit.

14 Apr 2024 01:32:31
We could easily stay up.

14 Apr 2024 03:56:46
Pineapple, hope they aren't famous last words. We've won 2 league games this year, is it?

I don't think we are one of the worst three teams, but football can be cruel. What if Luton pick up a couple of surprise results, or their opponents get a player sent off early? Or a lucky VAR decision? And we don't win any more games?

We could stay up but could easily go down if we can't win games. The idea that Luton can't pick up enough points to catch us is for the birds. Football is unpredictable. If it wasn't, we could just bet big on the favourites all the time and keep cashing in at the bookies. It just doesn't work that way.

Two league wins this year? We could easily go down.

14 Apr 2024 05:06:02
Exactly we never know what will happen, we might win all our remaining games.

14 Apr 2024 07:25:53
We are terrible at defending and we can't finish our dinner. Recipe for disaster.

14 Apr 2024 07:29:16
All ifs and buts but guess what we are a point better off with Luton then we were Friday so chill cyclist and be happy for now agree about mgw and Felipe and bolys experience also time for Yates to be benched he could of cost us a point yesterday I agree he has passion but it's time to put a footballer in that position not a brawler tough game coming up need Nuno and all the players to step up think this game could be the turning point either way.

14 Apr 2024 08:17:32
Aren't we forgetting we battered them second half. no one can fault us for effort, (Except for Origi).

14 Apr 2024 08:55:40
PS drop him completely from our squad!

14 Apr 2024 09:38:10
Battered them, don’t make me laugh, we couldn’t batter anything in a chip shop.

14 Apr 2024 11:13:29
It’s very frustrating because on paper we should be mid table with the players we have. But we are just not performing with any consistency. MGW runs hot and cold in games. Same for Elanga (who seems to have stopped using his blistering pace so much lately).
Aina has always been on and off for us.
Murillo is perhaps the only consistent performer this season.

15 Apr 2024 07:42:19
KTF Chimaera! I agree with everything you say. But it's also fair to point out that Nuno came straight into a relegation fight, lost a handful of players during the African Nations, has been without his main striker for most of his tenure and had 4pts deducted. We'll stay up and WILL be a mid table team next season.

15 Apr 2024 12:05:05
Totally agree Rogie. Origi may as well have drilled the ball into his own net, then turned round and given every Red in the place the fingers. Fans, players, everyone.

13 Apr 2024 21:50:38
Ok, now I've had chance to calm down, my take on the game:
Williams: how many times does this guy stuff up his final delivery? Can he actually hit a bloody ball harder than a tap? Bloody woeful of late.

CHO: failed two golden ops to score, and constantly failed to pull the trigger on crossing from the bi-line into the box.

Yatesy: waste of a position on the field. Foul machine, again, and has his ass bailed by Murillo when gifting the ball to Wolves. Def not capt material.

Aina: passed the ball into touch twice under no pressure at all.

Tavares: awful. Same as Aina in passed the ball out to touch.

Second half we referred back to getting into their final third and then passing it backwards. Sick to death of our players getting into what appear to be decent positions around the area and NOT cracking a shot towards goal.

Sels: flapped at their first goal and totally screwed up for their second. Having said that, he's been decent since coming and I'd firmly plant the blame on our defence's inability to, well, defend.

MGW was immense today.
Murillo was awesome and my MoM.
Reyna had a decent game for his first start.

Nuno: completely naffed up the subs again. No need to sub at all in my opinion and it totally unbalanced the state of play. He's pretty much useless now in my mind.

Thankfully Luton got walloped. But bigger problem is Everton with currently two games in hand. Worrying times ahead.

No worrying times mate we are 1 point better off with the bottom 3 we were yesterday bottom 3 teams won't win anymore games so we don't have to living the usual forest end of the season dream chill pal and enjoy the draw I am ?.

14 Apr 2024 10:11:37
Sorry skegs I don’t see it as a point gained mate, but two points lost in a very winnable game against a very ordinary side, at home, tells me Forest are very, very ordinary, or put another way, not good enough. I always hope for great results, even against Man City, but I’m afraid my head is ruling my hart this season, two wins this years, now we are hoping for two wins in five games.
I’ll keep hoping, but realistically just can’t see us getting the points. A hell of a lot resting on the Everton game now.
Relying on two many young inexperienced players too fight a relegation battle, but as I’ve said before, the young uns are the best we have.

13 Apr 2024 21:34:55
Firstly - I'd just like to say that I'm sad to see the likes of Bowie and Froggy become anti this site - I do hope they both return soon. We've all been reading their posts for a long time now and I hope we can continue to do so in the future. Secondly - 1 point is better than none. Chin-up fellas.

Many thanks and happy forest supporting everyone, but I am entitled to me views regardless.
Best wishes RedFrog.

That's a shame redfrog goodbye mate.

13 Apr 2024 18:39:50
Let's start with the defence. It's not right somehow but what does anyone think is a better combo. Murillo is a very skilful player indeed and deservedly MofM today. Nico played well as did Ainia. So do we swop A Om for Boly? As was pointed out on Radio N, we have the worst figures for conceding from set pieces in the premiership. Who has the best record for scoring from set pieces? You guessed it Everton. This problem that cost us a full 3 pts must be resolved
Suggestions please.

13 Apr 2024 19:30:43
Get Boly fit first and yes he's ya man experience and a big fella.

13 Apr 2024 19:34:50
We only had to defend one corner today ?‍♂️.

13 Apr 2024 19:41:12
It's 2 young lads learning their trade on the job

Need felipe or boly with murillo v everton because that's going to be a battle

Dreadful defense for first goal I think Yates gets in the way running in with his arms up

That thing from origi at the end wtf was it a shot cross or just a swing of the leg

Williams beginning to frustrate gets in some great positions but his final ball was Dreadful today

Bring on the scousers.

13 Apr 2024 20:10:01
Absolutely right RedStripe. Williams was played into positions today any full back would dream about. Maybe 6 clear opportunities and it would have been reasonable for him to have scored from 4 of them. He doesn't have the confidence or power though to take any of them or provide a killer cross. Not ready at this level but at 23 will he ever be? Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp came to this conclusion. No faulting his effort but it would be better to pass to someone else or work the ball down the other flank. As you say, frustrating to watch. Toffolo is worse though that's the main issue.

13 Apr 2024 20:18:26
All is missing from Origi is a Pineapple on his head!

13 Apr 2024 21:53:27
Ok that’s a view for the defence. Now the next important area attack and midfield HO is a talented footballer, but is he a one trick pony? . The number of times he got the ball tried to cut and shoot I lost count of. He did not ever centre the ball from the wing for our top goal scorer.

So I would pick Elanga if fit every time. Reyna played well enough to start again. Origi has absolutely zero confidence and when he got in the position to win the game he faltered and neither tried to score or succeeded with a pass. Yet at one point he nearly went past the whole of the Wolves defence. I think he has had too many chances and failed.

Wood must have been exhausted running about but had no balls sent to him in a scoring position. He is our Tiawo from last season and if we are going to survive he must be given the ball as he will score. Can you replace Yates, he had more shots on goal than anyone else and is always trying to help in defence albeit unsuccessfully, today. Would Domingues be better?

13 Apr 2024 22:22:29
Yates nearly conceded a goal if it wasn't for murrilo and again getting back in defence like a headless chicken to let wolves score.

13 Apr 2024 18:08:52
2pts wasted today Origi just has to look up the thread that ball to Wood for a tap in!

Clueless footballer who couldn't score in a knocking shop as soon as he came on you just know the best chance of the game would fall to him

Shilton one on one he saves it SVC one on one he scores Origi one on one CRAP

The biggest disappointment to me this season has been Sangare because of his failure we have to ensure Ryan Yates who never has been nor ever will be a Prem footballer.

13 Apr 2024 20:15:05
Well I'm going to enjoy the last two home games because if I'm to believe what I've been told today that will be it for me. Forest are planning to scrap all concessions after this season, so OAP and youngster fans will have to pay the same as others. One price for all, then there's the twenty pr cent increase in the ticket for next season. Thanks Mr greek my first game was in 1965 thanks for nothing, so much for loyalty. i hope the 30somthing who gets my seat actually is a true forest fan, unlike the chap who sits next to me at the moment who is a man city fan who uses a season card frya relative. Enough said.

13 Apr 2024 22:22:12
And if you think it's a load of bull look on the forest website, you have to be an adult to get on the waiting list. Loyalty counts for nothing, diddly squat. The greek is deluded wait until we're back in the championship and getting 17000 in like we used to do. It's a disgrace.

14 Apr 2024 07:07:20
Redvale very worrying if true my kids tickets gone from 40 to 190 last season if they scrap kids and oaps plus 20% increase loads will not be able to afford it which in turn will kill atmosphere even more

Makes you wonder if they waiting until we safe before announcing it to avoid a backlash in the ground.

14 Apr 2024 10:35:43
I’m led to believe it’s true, Tottenham have done the same. They don’t want concessions not when they can get full price from those who will pay anything to see a game. I’ve been told that there are around 3000 who want a season card, so you can see what way their going.

13 Apr 2024 17:59:40
Now the tinted glasses brigade might realise that this Forest squad of no premiership experience apart from woods boly just can't hack it. To many youngsters in the team all at the same time, relying on to many inconsistent youngsters, just won't work. Unfortunately they are our better players, so nothing we can do about it, but expecting them to live in the premiership with a starting lineup including seven inexperienced under twenty four year olds was crazy, only Woods of the other players has any premier experience.

Expecting this side to be any better than it is, ie, struggling, is unrealistic. IF a miracle does happen and we manage to stay up, then given another year these young lads will be very good for Forest, BUT staying up or going down we will lose some of them. How many young players do you see introduced to the better sides at one go, one possibility two at most also alongside better players than we have. Expectations have been far too high from a lot of you on here all season.

Take those tinted glasses off, and look around at what we have, be realistic, Wolves were no great shakes today, and we couldn't beat them, will playing away at Everton, Sheffield, and Burnley be any easier, NO, realistically 3 points, Man City, Chelsea, realistically 3 points at best. I will genuinely HOPE for better, but my eyes are open.

13 Apr 2024 19:52:12
Plain fact is but for the points deduction we would be just about safe now, and that’s all I was hoping for in this 2nd season,

14 Apr 2024 10:17:54
But we have got a points deduction, and we ain’t safe are we.

13 Apr 2024 17:03:06
If Origi is a professional footballer then I'm a General Custer. Can't even put in a pass when in goal for Wood. Awful.
