Just a few comments to add to those already made.
Firstly, and most importantly, the lads are motivated and want to play for Nuno. They may not be doing so in terms of on field competence and decisions but they are showing some spirit.
Secondly, why has it taken so long for Reyna to get a start? He will only get sharper as he gets match fit and looks the type of player who can change a game. And, by the way, takes a better corner than MGW, as does Danillo.
Thirdly, I read somewhere that we have conceded 22 goals from set pieces this season, the Premierships highest. When will Nuno go to 3 centre backs to compensate for Murillos ( excellent by the way) lack of height to staunch the leaking.?
Fourthly, can anybody tell me how Cunha, receiving the ball in his own half and with no support can be allowed to advance up to and into our penalty area without a challenge? Surely, just someone ( probably Obamadele) to block him off and take a yellow for the team.
Cunha is a £44 million quid Brazilian International and a much underrated player but even he can't run when he's on the deck!
Lastly, I'd like to see Ribeiro get a few more minutes on the pitch. He's got something about him and did a lovely cameo. He's got to have more confidence and energy than Origi surely?
Generally, we showed again we are comfortably mid table team and matched Wolves as we over matched Fulham. Just needs a few tweaks then let Nuno sort the mess out pre season. Oh, and for Gods sake wrap MGW in cotton wool, we need him fit in the run in! Coyr!

Agree with you about Rebeiro. He just has that vibe about him that he can be a big player.

14 Apr 2024 18:24:07
The goal scoring ability gap between Origi and Ollie Watkins is beyond comprehension. A vast chasm of footballing know how and effectiveness for 2 players in the same division!

Just as I predicted. just look at the surprise results being thrown out now. especially at the top.

14 Apr 2024 20:00:22
I know origi ain't great but to compare him to prem top scorer/ assitor not best comparison

Look at elanga or Hudson numbers v anthony or rashford or sancho.

14 Apr 2024 22:25:36
How many f ck ups has elanga done. Not singling him out. The lads got pace. The player i look up to in this side is murrilo. Playes with good old fashioned heart. Young man, learning his trade, never bitches on tackles, never drops his head when messes up just keeps on going. Full of heart. Always looking for a clinical pass. Or shot looking at the last game bless him. Reds, the forest supporters need murrilo. Like they did cooper. To keep the hearts of what they believe in. THE FIGHT. ? thank you for keeping the hope alive murrilo. and the amazing supporters at the WFCG. Proud of ya.

Redvale, re tickets further below.

Think you probably right why create a waiting list unless there's likely to be tickets available they gauging the demand then can scrap all concessions knowing they'll be able to sell at higher prices

Guarantee not release news until after the last home game to avoid backlash as they Normally want payment by now.

Big two fingers up at all young uns n oaps if it happens.

Well if it goes ahead Chelsea will be my last game, I can’t warrant or afford 500 pounds for a card. Just wonder how many of those prawn sandwich brigade turn up on a wet night in November when forest are playing Birmingham City.

14 Apr 2024 16:41:51
Got to let them know, it isn’t on if any truth in it, wouldn’t be a surprise.
CARLO.

14 Apr 2024 19:39:34
I'm sure it will happen if we stop up. Religation would put a spanner in the works, I don't want to see forest go down. I believe in the eyes of the law it would be direct discrimination, but would be very hard to prove. But forest are discriminating against the youngsters by not letting them go on the waiting list for a season ticket.

14 Apr 2024 15:14:03
Thankful that it only took 32 games for 2 Managers, a raft of coaches and a set piece expert to realise we have far better corner takers than Morgan Gibbs White.

Very funny mate ? ? ? ?.

15 Apr 2024 00:18:28
Ridicule a player with more heart than any of the f krs bar murrilo, and yates who we all know has been struggling. Strange one McGovern mate. i actually can't see any much better tbh. That's me just asking?

15 Apr 2024 08:23:36
Wasn't ridiculing him at all, just stating what we all see week in and out.

14 Apr 2024 13:15:47
It's so obvious that we are crying out for a commanding centre half all season. Wolves had 1 corner and scored from it. Our defending was all over the place. As it's been all season. Its only my view but is our manager coach what ever you want to call him up to the task. i don't think so. Yesterday did we need to make those substitutions. No i thought leave alone. Williams can't cross a ball time and time again he got in to good persissions and nothing came of it.
Whether we stay up or not we must learn the lessons of this season.
Get a manager in who can get use organised particularly defensively.

We keep criticising the balls into the box but players should be in there making it difficult for defenders. Some crosses were sublime like Danillos corner nobody to capitalise. There is a reason we don't score from corners nobody bursts in and troubles the defence we only received when it comes out the box.

14 Apr 2024 13:10:49
I mentioned Konate yesterday, I knew he wouldn’t get a place on the bench but I honestly think given the opportunity Origi got yesterday could he possibly have done worse?
Just don’t get the faith in Origi, not fulfilled it once.
My spirit went down when I saw him being got ready again yesterday, he must have something I, v not seen so far.

We beat Everton, Sheffield and Chelsea, Everton beat Luton Simples what's the problem have faith drop Yates nice lad not Premiership Quality. Get Boly fit and wait for it play Morello in front of the defense just my opinion and I agree with myself.

14 Apr 2024 09:06:58
Additional things learnt as seen fit in my opinion:
Origi will never score or provide an assist. Use him in injury situations only or preferably send him to the USA to take up a career in American football.

Never select Omabamadele again except in emergencies. Explore offers from Championship/ League 1

We are missing Worrall and McKenna on set pieces and corners. Felipe looks finished?

Reyna to take corners when selected but needs to contribute more (first start so should get better)

Don't pass to Williams in a scoring position - have a go yourself or use other flank.

Only pick Danilo in home fixtures.

Trigger clause to get Emanuel Dennis back from Watford loan and get some value for money.

Make sure Murrillo doesn't leave in the summer and try him further up the field?

Terrible squad rhr. There is a decent 11 in there but it’s a terrible squad. Same team old mistakes from the club, signing very poor players. In their defence what can they do though? The rules and the need To train players to be athletes means you have to have a lot of players due to them getting injured so often, yet the rules stop you from spending. Those restrictions mean it’s always going to be quantity over quality. Others will legitimately argue that other clubs, Brentford, Fulham, wolves, etc are all in the same boat. I personally feel we’ve been shocking in the transfer market,

14 Apr 2024 10:49:49
With points deduction there is politics to consider, although it is obvious that in black and white points should be deducted from the big clubs.
BUT, that would be a worse position than a large fine, so all said and done path of least distruction.
We have it in us to avoid relegation, just be positive.

14 Apr 2024 11:06:44
Worrall is done for Forest. McKenna I would consider in the squad if the opposition we were playing were reasonably sluggish; he’s got the turning circle of a cruise liner, so that would be hardly ever, lol.
Boly needs to come in.
Williams seemingly cannot strike a ball with any ferocity, as again was shown yesterday.
Reyna needs to take corners regularly, agreed.

14 Apr 2024 13:57:09
I think Williams was carrying an injury yesterday, don’t know what has happened to elanga, so Williams had to play.

14 Apr 2024 08:47:58
Never thought Martin Keown would give Forest any sensible advice but what he said in match of the day was spot on our marking from corners is all over the place!

4 players marking zones and 6 players supposedly man marking Chris Wood one of our best headers of a ball running out to his man not even looking at the ball loses the header! 2 pts lost!

If our set piece coach is still at the club put him and Clattenberg on a boat on the Trent sailing very slowly in the direction of China

If we do nothing else this week Nuno sort out defending from corners because atm every time the opposition get a corner it's mayhem in that defence

Who scores most goals from set pieces our next opponents Everton.

Shame we didn't have Reyna taking corners and MGW heading the feckers in since Xmas.

Loads of us said MGW should stop taking them. What a waste of a resource.

So what did we learn?

1. Felipe and Boly's experience is important.

2. MGW isn't the best corner taker (everyone apart from the 2 coaches worked that out months ago).

3. We could easily go down.

Add as you see fit.

14 Apr 2024 01:32:31
We could easily stay up.

14 Apr 2024 03:56:46
Pineapple, hope they aren't famous last words. We've won 2 league games this year, is it?

I don't think we are one of the worst three teams, but football can be cruel. What if Luton pick up a couple of surprise results, or their opponents get a player sent off early? Or a lucky VAR decision? And we don't win any more games?

We could stay up but could easily go down if we can't win games. The idea that Luton can't pick up enough points to catch us is for the birds. Football is unpredictable. If it wasn't, we could just bet big on the favourites all the time and keep cashing in at the bookies. It just doesn't work that way.

Two league wins this year? We could easily go down.

14 Apr 2024 05:06:02
Exactly we never know what will happen, we might win all our remaining games.

14 Apr 2024 07:25:53
We are terrible at defending and we can't finish our dinner. Recipe for disaster.

14 Apr 2024 07:29:16
All ifs and buts but guess what we are a point better off with Luton then we were Friday so chill cyclist and be happy for now agree about mgw and Felipe and bolys experience also time for Yates to be benched he could of cost us a point yesterday I agree he has passion but it's time to put a footballer in that position not a brawler tough game coming up need Nuno and all the players to step up think this game could be the turning point either way.

14 Apr 2024 08:17:32
Aren't we forgetting we battered them second half. no one can fault us for effort, (Except for Origi).

14 Apr 2024 08:55:40
PS drop him completely from our squad!

14 Apr 2024 09:38:10
Battered them, don’t make me laugh, we couldn’t batter anything in a chip shop.

14 Apr 2024 11:13:29
It’s very frustrating because on paper we should be mid table with the players we have. But we are just not performing with any consistency. MGW runs hot and cold in games. Same for Elanga (who seems to have stopped using his blistering pace so much lately).
Aina has always been on and off for us.
Murillo is perhaps the only consistent performer this season.

15 Apr 2024 07:42:19
KTF Chimaera! I agree with everything you say. But it's also fair to point out that Nuno came straight into a relegation fight, lost a handful of players during the African Nations, has been without his main striker for most of his tenure and had 4pts deducted. We'll stay up and WILL be a mid table team next season.

15 Apr 2024 12:05:05
Totally agree Rogie. Origi may as well have drilled the ball into his own net, then turned round and given every Red in the place the fingers. Fans, players, everyone.

13 Apr 2024 21:50:38
Ok, now I've had chance to calm down, my take on the game:
Williams: how many times does this guy stuff up his final delivery? Can he actually hit a bloody ball harder than a tap? Bloody woeful of late.

CHO: failed two golden ops to score, and constantly failed to pull the trigger on crossing from the bi-line into the box.

Yatesy: waste of a position on the field. Foul machine, again, and has his ass bailed by Murillo when gifting the ball to Wolves. Def not capt material.

Aina: passed the ball into touch twice under no pressure at all.

Tavares: awful. Same as Aina in passed the ball out to touch.

Second half we referred back to getting into their final third and then passing it backwards. Sick to death of our players getting into what appear to be decent positions around the area and NOT cracking a shot towards goal.

Sels: flapped at their first goal and totally screwed up for their second. Having said that, he's been decent since coming and I'd firmly plant the blame on our defence's inability to, well, defend.

MGW was immense today.
Murillo was awesome and my MoM.
Reyna had a decent game for his first start.

Nuno: completely naffed up the subs again. No need to sub at all in my opinion and it totally unbalanced the state of play. He's pretty much useless now in my mind.

Thankfully Luton got walloped. But bigger problem is Everton with currently two games in hand. Worrying times ahead.

13 Apr 2024 22:07:30
No worrying times mate we are 1 point better off with the bottom 3 we were yesterday bottom 3 teams won't win anymore games so we don't have to living the usual forest end of the season dream chill pal and enjoy the draw I am ?.

14 Apr 2024 10:11:37
Sorry skegs I don’t see it as a point gained mate, but two points lost in a very winnable game against a very ordinary side, at home, tells me Forest are very, very ordinary, or put another way, not good enough. I always hope for great results, even against Man City, but I’m afraid my head is ruling my hart this season, two wins this years, now we are hoping for two wins in five games.
I’ll keep hoping, but realistically just can’t see us getting the points. A hell of a lot resting on the Everton game now.
Relying on two many young inexperienced players too fight a relegation battle, but as I’ve said before, the young uns are the best we have.

Firstly - I'd just like to say that I'm sad to see the likes of Bowie and Froggy become anti this site - I do hope they both return soon. We've all been reading their posts for a long time now and I hope we can continue to do so in the future. Secondly - 1 point is better than none. Chin-up fellas.
