Murillo - the enigma. Somehow, our lacklustre scouting/ recruitment team stumbled on a 'golden egg' with this guy. I think he's amazing. Munmad and Bowie have posted about him amongst others. Forget 'playing out of position' - Murillo's attributes are crying out to be played alongside Yates in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Drop Sangare like a hot potato. I think these two are the ultimate ying/ yang and would be brilliant playing alongside each other. Given our current form and position in the table I think it would be a low-risk gamble well worth taking.

Legless murillo is the only player for me worthy of his ferrari or whatever it is. Don't get me wrong there's f kn thousands at the city ground doing the same. All I'm saying is stop crying out the lot of ya at nuno and coaching etc. For cloughs sake luton have took on the best. The players are letting us down for me full stop. Pathetic in front of goal. Pathetic in set pieces, defending and on goal. Ok ok you lot tell me the players with heart in this squad. When i say this, i mean who do you actually think are listening? And trying. Names please.

17 Mar 2024 22:18:48
No mate he's a defender and has the time to play those long balls from that position, you don't get the time in midfield
Don't understand the obsession on here with trying to play players out of position
He's a defender and will fetch mega bucks as a defender who happens to have a wand of a left foot
It's a bit like saying we should have played Stuart Pearce as a left winger cus he would have scored twenty goals a season instead of ten.

17 Mar 2024 22:29:45
We should enjoy Murillo for the last few games of the season because I can't see us keeping hold of him in the summer. Regardless of which league we are in.

17 Mar 2024 23:00:45
We aren't out of it yet Derby mate
It's down to nuno to pick his best team and stick to it
We know his formation and that's fine
Just pick the best players to play it?
That doesn't mean the most expensive ones, just the right players in the right positions.

17 Mar 2024 23:22:21
Bowie - Yates is the only one I can think of! Whilst I respect the above replies, I think we all need to realise that the current status-quo isn't working. Why not think outside the box in terms of playing positions to give us the faintest chance of staying up, particularly with such a talented player like Murillo? I agree D3rby - we will lose the guy sooner rather than later. So let's try to make the most of his potential in the meantime. Or should we accept that we are crap, not try anything different, and get related being remembered as the whinging club about Ref/ VAR decisions?

17 Mar 2024 20:45:05
Good evening fellow Reds, just a couple of comments on the Luton game.
First of all, a very old fashioned Edwardian Stadium with a very modern turbo charged and rabid set of fans. I found I couldn't see anything of the ball due to the low stand roof when the ball was in the air. I completely lost sight of Murillos effort from his own half and could only follow it by their goal keepers back pedalling until it dropped into my field of vision when he tipped it over.

Secondly, ( and I'll get my tin hat on here) I don't go along with the general gloom and despondency on here. Sure, it was a frustrating loss of 2 points but I can't go along with blaming Nunos subs in the circumstances. We were comfortable but they were dominating before the subs were made. People think 3 centre backs is a defensive measure but in fact it can be used offensively as a platform to attack or counter attack freeing up wingbacks for example. I think it was changed because of the expected aerial barrage. Just unlucky with the goal. The coach would have expected his big lads like Boly, Sanghere, Yeats, Felipe, Sels etc to be able to defend a corner. Felipe just lost track of the cross and ended up losing his man for the header which caused all the chaos in our box leading to their equaliser.

Lastly, I think Sanghere ( and Yeats) did very well, especially considering Sangheres injury lay off. They got through a lot of destructive work and, apart from the first 15 mins got on top and contained Barclay and Doughty very well. Incidentally, Sanghere is routinely berated for costing us £32 million, Barclay would probably sell for double that atm now he's put his demons behind him. A class act.

Of course, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow but we should remain n optimistic. 5 out of our last 9 games are at home and our run in is much much easier than Luton's, who's thin squad is running out off numbers with injuries mounting. Plus Everton have some pain to come

Plus, we actually had a VAR decision go for us yesterday and a ref who actually looked at it!
????????????. Is our luck changing at last?

I'm going to get you in trouble now stokey great post mate.

17 Mar 2024 22:11:26
We started badly first 15 mins and allowed barkley 3 attempts at goal
Then we took charge and got a goal
Weveere in charge till 80 minutes
Then it was decided to shut up. shop and invite trouble
Watched the whole game.

17 Mar 2024 23:02:56
The only main player we had to mark 79, barkley couldn't bank on anyone doing it. Ok pun there but it's not just the defence it's the pathetic attacking, from midfield onwards. No heart. Actually I'd give mgw it. But for some reason he ain't got to pair.

17 Mar 2024 23:10:01
Just trying to put myself in Nunos shoes. One nil up, 20 to go, Woody not fully fit due to long injury lay off, what subs, if any should I make? …
Dominquez for MGW who’s given it all and looks like he’s running through tackle? A like for like substitution except Dominquez is full of energy. Reasonable change
CHO for Origi, like for like against a tiring defence who got the runaround second half v Bournemouth on Wednesday whilst we were putting our feet up? Reasonable change
Woody for 18 year old Ribeiro? Or would we put the veteran Felipe on to meet the increasingly desperate and expected aerial assault, weather the storm and hit them on the break to apply the coup de grace?
Reasonable change, just unlucky.
But it’s why Prem coaches get paid the big bucks my friends. You pays your money and takes your choice. On another day it works, on Saturday it didn’t.
Was it Napoleon who said he’d rather have a lucky General than a good one?

18 Mar 2024 10:11:43
You can play with extra midfielders stokey and press higher up the pitch
By bringing on fillipe we invited trouble to our own area and when you give fouls away around the area its only a matter of time
That change to three defenders cost the game and put us under pressure.

18 Mar 2024 10:42:31
Thanks for your view StokeyRed, never been to Luton, but don't you have to go threw someone's back garden to get to your seat?.
There was no surprises how they was going to play, they will play the same in there next game, I thought we ran out of ideas and energy in last ten minutes, also Woods going down with no one near him, it's happened before with our players, is it the training?.

18 Mar 2024 11:55:19
DTP mate, I completely respect your point of view on the subs and you could well be entirely right. Guess we’ll never know.
I was just trying to put myself neutrally in the shoes of Nuno ( an orthodox defensive coach and protege of Jose Morinho) and work out why he took the decisions he took. It could have worked but as Cloughie said it only takes a second to score a goal and that’s what happened.
Once in a generation an UN orthodox genius of a coach appears and makes apparently unorthodox decisions. The romantic side of me thinks Cloughie would have kept the same system brought Ribeiro on for Wood, straight swap, with the instruction “ Look, young man, we are one nil up with 20 minutes to go. Get on there and make a bloody nuisance of yourself “
??.

17 Mar 2024 19:37:25
Awonwi he's had that many operations, I've been told from my insider carlo it's raquel welch. She only went in with a cold.
You look at the season reds, what captain has lead us through the season? F kn birdseye springs to mind. Ok you can laugh or cry.
Me on this site lately i laugh.

As for set pieces most get the ken/ barbie once over before they come out. Bouffant hair cuts, most black n curly. Lips done, so much glaze there sealed. And botox. Extra on there backsides ready for the bench. This lot couldn't put a shift in at pesetastretchers in spain.

They think siesta starts at 8am. WHY WHY WHY do you lot look for coaches etc. To blame. It's the players, most getting fined not just for ignorance of parking outside the ground. But on the pitch. No wisdom taken us forward. No guts, they think the city ground was built to stop any floods from the trent the sad ones.

As for some that desperate calling nuno for not doing klopp teeth smiles and cooper pumps. Do ya really think it makes a difference. Not for me. But I'm a geordie who just lives for this amazing club. Anyway crack on the lot of ya.

Bottom line is the coach has to work with the players he is given
He won two out of his first three and they were against Newcastle away and man utd at home?
Surely that should have filled the players with confidence?
Then he starts tinkering with playing players out of position?
Just saying.

17 Mar 2024 20:50:57
Maybe they could graft him an extra leg!
Goal’s galore then
????
CARLO
PS was looking for you on Susan Calmans city tour!

17 Mar 2024 21:09:42
Well said Bowie. They are the biggest shambles of mercenaries ever assembled. ?.

17 Mar 2024 21:43:49
Question you need to ask yourself balloons when you look in the mirror
Are you actually a forest fan?
Never heard a good word from you on that subject
The mirror won't lie and so no.

17 Mar 2024 22:25:21
I always put ya to bed carlo, miners blanket sucking on bugles. Luv ya son ?.

17 Mar 2024 22:40:49
Mercenaries more like f kn nursaneries, spotted that when the ref looked to make sure there alloy heels weren't over 6 inches. Most had the watch of hope strapped to there hearts. So they could get off. Sadly left in dressing room. And yeah yeah munmad crack on plastering over the cracks. Still admire ya though. More than you could know actually.

17 Mar 2024 23:35:57
Hang on sounds wrong that ?? meant your miners banner and blowing.

17 Mar 2024 19:19:25
Street parties in Nottingham if the Bin Dippers blow promotion this season I think Leeds and Ipswich will go up automatically and Southampton through the playoffs.

Agree4 Disagree0

17 Mar 2024 21:09:40
I really hope so Munmad and i tell you now that i would absolutely love that. After listening to all the crap at work from the bin dippers all season who thought they were nailed on for promotion when they were 14 points clear at the top, that would be just brilliant. I’ve already started saying to them last week, “ do you think you’ll win the play offs? “ They hate it? and i love it?.

17 Mar 2024 22:32:39
I'll have a street party if D*rby don't go up. Not too bothered about the dippers, though. But it would be a good old laugh if they do bottle it. Especially after the massive gap they gave themselves earlier in the season.

17 Mar 2024 17:18:47
Surely one of our old centre halves can spend a little time and come show Nuno how to defend set pieces? Paul Hart, Colin Cooper, Des Walker, Michael Dawson, Wes Morgan to name a small handful. All great defenders in their day - can’t imagine Paul Hart taking any of this nonsense of late goals and crap marking in his playing days ?.

17 Mar 2024 20:44:22
I hate the bin dippers even more.

17 Mar 2024 21:03:59
You wanted Livetpool to win Skegs.
That just about sums you up.

17 Mar 2024 21:14:20
Me too skegs. About 5000 people from Manchester in the ground, the rest will be stuck in the M25 chaos on the way home. Glory Hunters ?.

17 Mar 2024 21:45:33
Yeah and the away end filled Scandinavians ?it’s a wonder they didn’t all get struck by lightning when they start singing’ oh I am a Liverpudlian “.

17 Mar 2024 21:46:22
And what sort of a fan are you balloons?
Certainly not a forest fan.

17 Mar 2024 22:00:57
And you wanted united to win baldy just about sums u up as well ?.

17 Mar 2024 22:05:50
DTP hints of jealousy in that comment ?? why would anyone be bothered about the bin dippers did your ex girlfriend run off with a Leicester fan can't blame her if she did ??.

17 Mar 2024 23:04:55
No I was to busy building my empire of flat packing while you was learning a trade as a bog seat fitter.

17 Mar 2024 15:12:46
Slightly off topic but what’s everybody’s thoughts on Awonyi?

My opinion is that he is too injury prone and we cannot afford a luxury to be sat on a treatment table collecting his wages. Also I am not convinced he is a great finisher as most of his goals seem to bounce of him or scuff in off his boots. I’m just getting tired of waiting for him to put in a solid run of games with goal contributions. It’s almost two years now and it seems like he has only played about half a season?

Agree4 Disagree0

17 Mar 2024 15:31:50
Made of glass.

17 Mar 2024 15:35:32
The thing is if we sold him he would never get injured its a problem at forest for some reason.

17 Mar 2024 15:40:32
Just had the same thoughts Red Ace, almost word for word. His overall contribution over 2 seasons is quite modest. I presume this is why the so called top clubs have shown no interest in him.

17 Mar 2024 15:45:57
I wouldn’t worry about him, if we go down he’ll be off on his toes just like the rest of them.

17 Mar 2024 15:58:39
??? Awoniyi, Old chandelier legs. Waste of space. Biggest dud since Matty Fryup. Nobody will be daft enough to part with money for him red vale. Complete waste of oxygen ?.

17 Mar 2024 16:54:51
If we go down he will be gone, make no mistake. Wood will be our main SF, captain Joe and Obrion if fit will be back.

17 Mar 2024 17:36:15
What is SF, Red vale?

17 Mar 2024 17:39:43
And steve cooper managing them with any luck as Nuno won’t be there.

17 Mar 2024 17:49:25
Still waiting Balloons?

17 Mar 2024 17:51:12
Wood out of contract end 9f season we surely not offer a new one.

17 Mar 2024 17:54:11
He's only after a premier league team 2star wouldn't want to come back to a championship team ?.

17 Mar 2024 17:54:42
Wood contract up in the summer
He won't be staying if we go down.

17 Mar 2024 18:30:13
What ya waiting for Rogie, St George's day? ?.

17 Mar 2024 18:39:16
Awonyis goals at the end of last season kept us up, but his injuries are an ongoing worry, no continuity with him,

17 Mar 2024 19:01:28
Short f kr derby, or ernie wise as captain.

17 Mar 2024 19:06:56
Sorry derby should have put CF as in centre forward, being dyslexic has it's draw backs.

17 Mar 2024 19:08:37
Generally, I like him as he is a real handful for defenders when he is, rarely, 100% fit. Finishing is not the greatest, but if he gets service he plays the percentage game and converts enough. Agree with Stevie F - my biggest worry are his ongoing injuries and therefore the fact we can't rely on him.

17 Mar 2024 20:34:43
If wood's out of contact in the summer offer him a one year extension. He'd do well in the championship if we get dumped out of the prem. Remember how hard it was looking for a CF last time. I'd keep him, nothing to lose.

17 Mar 2024 21:22:14
He's got the first touch of a trampoline. Stands there grinning when he misses an open goal and praying to his god when he scores one. Strange fellow ?.

17 Mar 2024 21:48:45
Oh how you love forest balloons.

17 Mar 2024 21:50:14
This strange fellow, who are you referring to?

17 Mar 2024 22:37:45
Get rid of the lot of them for me, millions spent yet still we don’t have a team - laughing stock and rightly so. No point complaining though as we are proper foooked if Big M chucks his toys out of the pram - we just have to put up with the incompetence of his chosen ones. Lose / lose situation for us fans I’m afraid but there is no other option there?

17 Mar 2024 23:09:43
Best three years in the last twenty three though
Yes he's made mistakes
But what did doughty bring to the table?
League one
Like I've always said
Be careful what you wish for
I've seen far worst in my 66 years.

18 Mar 2024 05:56:26
Correct we have no other option than to put up with it - as ridiculous as some of it is.

17 Mar 2024 14:36:25
Leicester put us to shame - sold arguable their best two players, have been on top of the championship all season, holding Chelsea atm, picked a Guardiola junior. I don't think fortunately we will be playing them next season.

They started all the trouble with ffp, new ground and went bust, got promoted breaking ffp and now they have broken it again
Horrible cheating club.

17 Mar 2024 18:14:52
They were very clever and invested wisely and also have good lawyers.

17 Mar 2024 18:23:01
Sh##t club and a s##t place
What's the point in letting them get promoted and punishing them next season? 】
Nothing to do with lawyers
Just a farce between the efl and the premier mot working together.

17 Mar 2024 18:30:30
Skegs try telling all the contractors and self employed people who didn’t get paid, and went bust, and people who lost their jobs, when Leicester went bankrupt and set up again with a clean slate overnight, how clever they were, disgusting, bordering on fraud,

17 Mar 2024 18:30:58
They would beat us skegs ?.

17 Mar 2024 18:55:17
That's life Stevie and yes they would balloons and DTP loophole their lawyers found it good lawyers.

17 Mar 2024 19:01:32
They'll be fine stevie Flat pack 79 us setting on ??.

17 Mar 2024 19:03:34
Funny how you like the bin dippers.

17 Mar 2024 19:15:26
Balloons suppose assembling flat packs beats locking people up for a living, but each to his own,

17 Mar 2024 19:23:57
Got to agree with you down the pub, forest should take a long hard look at Leicester before dumping the city ground for some vanity project that would be closer to pride park than slab square. It wouldn't be sustainable.

17 Mar 2024 19:29:56
It's OK balloons, I passed skeggs phone number on, they said they didn't have much work for a bog seat installer.

17 Mar 2024 19:36:24
Skegs yep life for people with no morals or conscience, points deductions were brought in for going into administration because of their cheating, if you think that’s clever, says everything about you and them.

17 Mar 2024 20:59:16
Your right Stevie my good friend clever is the word your looking for ?.

17 Mar 2024 21:30:36
Some people require locking up stevie. Proud to do it. Serving Queen and Country. ?.

17 Mar 2024 21:49:48
Balloons I served queen and country mate but in a slightly more dangerous job than yours believe it or not, seems your not keen on someone mocking what you did but happy to mock a decent tradesman, typical hypocrisy from you.

17 Mar 2024 21:51:11
Is that why you had to run away to Skegness?
Got skeeggs phone number I'll pass it on to the gunn family ????.

17 Mar 2024 22:12:25

17 Mar 2024 15:03:58
Probably the best player we've got think we was unlucky yesterday them 2 goal line clearances had gone in we would of been walking away 3-1 winners and most of us would of been happy with that onwards and upwards ?.

17 Mar 2024 17:37:34
Let him take all the set-pieces. They might be a better delivery than MGW.

17 Mar 2024 20:26:38
I thought he needs to play in midfield, as he can't head a ball?

17 Mar 2024 12:27:55
Sorry lads, but I've said it on here before and I'll say it again now, THIS SQUAD just ain't up to it, consistently. How many of this squad/ team consistently scores or averages at 5/ 6 or above in the stats after games, take Morillo, Mgw and Williams of late out of it, NOT MANY, in fact I would say none.

It's supposed to be a team game. How can a team play well enough to win games when over three quarters of the side are not consistently playing well enough and scoring less than an average of five, it's pathetic. Add that to the stupid mistakes made all over the pitch, I've no need to mention them, you've all seen them happening all season long, and it seems its impossible for the players to cut them out, you can't blame Mr Cooper or Nuno for the mistakes made by the players, they're not the ones leaving players unmarked at the far post and missing all the chances, and don't tell me the players are not being told about all this. , game after game, the truth is they can't cut the mistakes out. They're not GOOD ENOUGH.

If we are relegated this season, in my opinion it's definitely down to the players and not either of the two decent coaches we've had. The chances have been there for us to be in a comfortable position in this League, The early season game's we gave away under Mr Cooper at home to Luton and the rest, and now under Nuno, Brighton, Luton again, need I go on, a half decent side would have been able to take advantage of these teams. These players got Cooper sacked and if he's not careful, Nuno will go the same way.

Don't be so quick to blame the coaches for this rubbish, it's purely because of the players. There is skill in this squad, but it has never shown itself as a team. I'm sorry to say, it NEVER Will. ?? oh well, back on the ????????. Rant over.

Agree4 Disagree0

17 Mar 2024 13:18:59
The squad might not be good enough, but it’s better than Luton s, and a coaches decision has almost certainly had a major effect On the final score, but of course highly paid professionals footballers need to take their share of the blame,

17 Mar 2024 14:29:17
I watched the City / Newcastle match after watching the re-run of the Forest game. Ok it was a Cup game but like our school days English lessons : COMPARE and CONTRAST! We are in the same division, but there was a huge gulf in well, everything.

17 Mar 2024 15:45:29
I posted on here some time ago but got derided by some posters that we have a very divided dressing room.
I think the evidence of this is now easy to see.
Very little togetherness being showed on the pitch IMO.
CARLO.

17 Mar 2024 16:21:00
Everyone for themselves now Carlo there all thinking where there going to end up next season.

17 Mar 2024 17:19:45
Stevie f it wasn’t the coaches decision to leave two players unmarked at the far post, that's just pathetic play, Fillipe was brought on to stop that from happening, the goal was purely down to to pathetic marking by players who no better but didn’t do it. Yes Nuno made some strange substitutions but can’t be blamed for that.

17 Mar 2024 18:16:33
Dreamon it was the coaches fault I didn't win the lottery last night.

17 Mar 2024 19:38:40
I hear you skegsjay.

17 Mar 2024 19:55:47
Dreamon yes I think I pointed that out at the end of my post,

17 Mar 2024 19:56:24
Skegs nah that’d be coopers fault,

17 Mar 2024 22:01:31
Why skeggs didn't the coach turn up on time or was it parked?

16 Mar 2024 21:33:53
So it looks like Origi will be our striker till the season is out. So he will have to play upfront. Are only hope is that he finds form. I despair regarding goalkeepers. The goal keeper and centre forward are they the first positions you fill when constructing a team to survive. We have neither. Either Origi comes into his own and the goal keeper turns over a new leaf or we are doomed. It was Navas and Tiawo last season, where are they now in our hour of need.

I posted that he had a bad game today and he did but whilst I think he should be removed as our dead ball taker, he is an exceptional talent. He runs his heart out for our club and I believe he really loves being here. Others around him I’m not so sure but he is still first on my team sheet.

Set the goal up, but very wasteful at set pieces
I'd guess double figures today
It's not good, if a coach had any sense he'd relieve him from those duties
Toffolo takes a better corner and nico makes better crosses.

16 Mar 2024 21:12:15
Same here mate.

16 Mar 2024 22:29:14
Lol nothing as changed in 2 seasons apart from 2 managers one that done nothing wrong in some people's minds and would give him, 4 or 5 seasons to prove himself and another that took over the god and gave him, 10 games say no more really me I don't give a crap who's in charge there both rubbish cooper was terrible replaced by another terrible manager by the looks of it oh well that's life get over it it's not the end of the world Muppets.

16 Mar 2024 23:16:54
Well he was the proven premier league manager you wanted and after three games you cudn't stop telling us
I did say at the time you would soon change when things went wrong
Cooper got us up from the pits of despair and then had the know how to grind out a result
That's what nuno can't do
Told yer be careful what you wish for.

16 Mar 2024 23:41:54
I'd like to add skeegs if it wasn't for the last manager that was crap in your eyes?
We would not be talking about the premier league and for a second season.

16 Mar 2024 23:50:49
I can barely understand what you are trying to say Skegs - but I do understand that calling others on this site 'Muppets' is not banter and not funny. Shall we just put it down to the booze you have drunk tonight?

17 Mar 2024 06:47:14
As a layman I knew Luton would be dangerous at set pieces, that they would play up to the ninety minute and beyond. In a way Nuno playing Origi, and then taking him of was a big mistake, there was no outlet when we did have some possession, with the missed chances it's a "what if" game!.
Looking forward to StokeyRed 's take on the game, also thinking of changing my username to Gonzo?.

17 Mar 2024 10:19:05
Legless you’ll get used to skegs mate, he’s not on here to talk about football, just to troll other people and make himself the centre of attention,

17 Mar 2024 10:23:23
Barron we finished up with Dominguez playing through the middle, and hanging on in a game we were comfortable in, all down to a managerial blunder, disappointing but fact sadly, without the impending points deduction it would still have been a decent result, but sadly we await the corrupt premier league’s sanctions.

17 Mar 2024 11:08:08
Stevie f, over the ninety minutes we was the better team, but teams fighting regulation don't get the luck. If that shot from Murrilo had gone in, I think it would have given us a massive lift for the up coming games, and he took a free kick in the last match, that was better than MGW has done for a while.

17 Mar 2024 11:13:29
If that brilliant effort had gone In game over, that would have collapsed lkke a burst paper bag, , but we all know one goal is never enough, especially with our defence,

17 Mar 2024 11:14:34
I love forest been with them since 1965. Just like a lot on this site I’ve seen it all, last season under cooper the city ground was rocking, this season with Nuno the atmosphere has all but gone.

17 Mar 2024 12:42:39
Evidently there could be a statement about our PSR hearing tomorrow. Not sure who has leaked this news but do any posters who have their ear to the ground locally have any info from the club about this? Have the club emitted anything related to how the hearing went etc? I am baffled by the silence. Or have I missed it! (HARD SLAP ON THE WRIST AND A HEFTY FINE, for me please!

17 Mar 2024 15:34:35
Think it will be minimum of six points, forest could take it to appeal but I don’t think they will.

17 Mar 2024 16:19:16
They might as well give us 20 points according to some were doomed anyway put us out of our misery now.

16 Mar 2024 19:08:20
Well waddya know, we conceded again in the dying minutes when trying to defend a 1-0 lead. When is Nuno going to realise we CANNOT defend and that this tactic does not work? Sick to the back teeth of the same old same old whenever we take the lead in games; 30 minutes left and we sit in and expect to defend the lead. Pathetic.
At the moment Sangarè is looking like the luckiest person ever to be described as a professional footballer. Total waste of a position having him on the pitch. £35m? I wouldn't have paid more than half a Bourbon biscuit and a mug of cocoa.
A personal message for Nuno now: WE NEED A SET PIECE COACH!
And that brings me nicely onto MGW. again.
When are we going to understand that MGW is absolutely atrocious at corners and set pieces in general? Lost count of how many times he took a corner and is unable to beat the first man. Someone HAS to see this? Personally thought Toff was a decent corner taker. Anything at the moment is better than MGW.

Murillo is a genius. End of. Spirited, gutsy, first class. And we look so much better with Boly in the team (I know, that doesn't say an awful lot, but we do).

As two comedians once said, That's another fine mess we've got ourselves in. But it's not just now it's been happening since the owner had a meltdown and shipped in a bus load of over seas players. Cooper said at the start of last season he wanted to keep the players that took us up. I have trouble understanding some English people, so how he communicated with African and Brazilian players I don't know. Other teams come up only buy a couple of players, get relegated and do it all over again until they have enough players to compete with the prem, all the while they still have the money in the bank. Look at Fulham good all round side AND a new stand. just saying.

16 Mar 2024 19:48:04
Problem is mate these so called top coaches are blind to it. And that’s the scary part, it’s the repetitive same things every week and either coaches at this level are that arrogant they won’t adjust or are thicker than we know and can’t see the problems staring them in the face. It’s more than frustrating. Can’t say a bad word to some about MGW but he’s dog s**t in my opinion. He either hits the first man or lofts the ball in to the box which is a centre backs wet dream. The ponces that are today’s pro footballers wouldn’t have stood a chance back in the day. The likes of Clough would have had this lot playing Sunday football claiming that’s all they’re fit for, and you know what, he wouldn’t be far wrong!

16 Mar 2024 20:09:36
Hey balloons?
Very quite mate?
I'm not being sarcastic. however what are your thoughts on Nuno at the moment?
It's looking like he's no better than Cooper.
(Though I'm not in the business of hammering the manager. )
Sure we've had dreadful refereeing decisions. though a lot of his team selections have been baffling, and we should have been playing a few teams with ten men.
We were very good at times, especially in the second half were we were in control, so it is frustrating regarding his decision making, as we just threw another 3 priceless points away.

16 Mar 2024 20:13:06
Talking of Clough, our Nigel is doing well up the road. he likes to build a side, well when we go down if we go down, there will need to be a massive clear out. Don't think Nuno will hang around so could be his time take over, he did say he would like to one day. Isn't it strange that managers are now called coaches, but when they get the sack the papers call them the manager.

16 Mar 2024 20:21:24
Is it me, or is Nuno way too calm on the touchline?
You see Klopp, Guardiola, and even Rob Edwards etc going nuts with passion which translates to the players, honestly we could do with some of Warnocks passion at this moment and time, he'd certainly tear this lot a new one Big Time, I just get the impression it's no big deal to most of our lot where we are.
If we go down they just move on to the next Cash Cow.

16 Mar 2024 21:26:35
Totally agree Rogie. I don’t know if he is showing the fire and passion behind the scenes but he doesn’t fill me with confidence not like the other managers you mentioned. Hey each person is different I suppose but it would give me a little more confidence knowing the manager is like the 12th man.

16 Mar 2024 22:21:58
Don't think anyone can argue with that mate.

16 Mar 2024 23:21:07
Don't think nuno would move or show anything if he was actually on fire
Big decision for marinakis
Stick or twist?
He's back with the devil in trusting mendes, all we get is his left overs.

16 Mar 2024 18:48:36
That game today was League one level at best.
Very little skill, ball in the air, lack of ideas.
I for one don’t want to see that sort of game regularly.
CARLO.

16 Mar 2024 19:15:44
That's because of the small pitch and Luton treating every game as a cup tie carlo
Shot from 65 yards by murillo was class
Elanga and origi unlucky with shots cleared off the line
MGW his shot from the free kick outside the box belongs on a rugby pitch, and his corners?
Least said about them
Should have won.

16 Mar 2024 20:07:05
SP coach to MGW. "Morgs when your taking a corner put 1 hand up for a near post one and 2 hands up if your hitting it to the backstick but do the complete opposite and that should bamboozal the other team and we should score loads".
"Morgs how come in training all your direct free kicks from the edge of the Box go flying in the top bin yet when you take one in a match your crap"?
Morgs to SP coach, "they don't coach, they all fly over the bar even in training".
SP coach to Morgs, "sh#t yeah I forgot"!

16 Mar 2024 21:05:33
Fred we are agreeing.
