MGW surely must be stopped from taking dead ball kicks after that - appalling free kick! And Origi - the lad has a real problem. I think his former team new this before we started picking up his ridiculous wages. Beyond belief.

We just CANNOT KEEP A CLEAN SHEET!

16 Mar 2024 15:20:06
Very worrying what I'm seeing so far. Origi's finishing I see is up to his usual standard!

16 Mar 2024 15:44:34
Wood's is!

Origi off Dominguez on overrun in midfield atm.

IT’s numbers that’s killing us in midfield, 4 against 2.

16 Mar 2024 15:12:27
Brilliant save by Sels. Pleased for him. Why was the shot allowed in the first place? Sangare?

16 Mar 2024 14:05:00
Sangare owes us a big performance today.

16 Mar 2024 14:22:26
Agreed. EVERY player owes us a big big performance, leaving everything our there. If they don't, it will be inexcusable.

16 Mar 2024 14:41:32
He owes us 35 Million!

Nuno looks to have picked a decent lineup from the players available. The things that have been a problem are that there are at least 5 players in the regular squad who are not good enough to play in the Premier League. There are 3 in this team today who still cause concern for me. The other thing is the African Nations Cup. It has been a joke and robbed us some of our better players. As far as Nuno playing Niakate at full back goes we have to consider that Nuno hasn't been in charge that long and has to try things - the problem there was that Niakate is not flexible enough or good enough to play in other defensive positions - we have also been stitched up by signing him as he is always carrying injuries and too lightweight for a Premiership defender. I also have no confidence in Mat Sels yet - he should have punched the ball, Omabamadele and everything in the way to stop the Brighton goal. Hope he doesn't let us down today as it will be tight. If Luton have 5 players who are not good enough for the Premier League in their team we should win. Pleased Nuno has seen Omadamadele's weaknesses and never starts him again. COYR.

I'm desperately trying to not let today's game dominate my thoughts, chuffing hell it's nigh on impossible. So brave face and think Dr Pepper 'What's the worst that could happen? ' No club is relegated today but a win would be massive, for both clubs.
So Skegs, I'm going BTTS, Forest win and Chris Wood anytime. This game won't be for the faint hearted, like an early episode of Dr Who, viewed from behind the couch. COYR and as always FTID.

For me it will be like the Saturday Night Horror Double Bill on a Saturday night!

16 Mar 2024 13:09:29
In October we had a sort of family get together on the beach in the afternoon. It Forest v Luton and my daughter had her phone on for the score. All was well until about 4.50 when she showed ne the score. Well, I lost it and threw one (to my eventual embarrassment. ) Felt at the time that this was a big loss of 2 points and I was right!
Coincidence? Would you believe the same people have come here again this weekend and want to walk on the beach again this afternoon. I have refused to go with them this time. I will follow on text/ SKY. I hope that this is a good omen for us.

16 Mar 2024 13:18:04
I just hope Nottingham Forest are 4-0 up at half time, no make that 5-0 just to be sure, and then I can put me blood pressure machine back in the box, and enjoy the second half, UREDS.

16 Mar 2024 10:36:16
Like Bon Jovi.
Half way there ( to Luton) and livin on a prayer
But take my hand, we ll make it I swear.

Not had this feeling since the play offs. It's as big a game as any since then. Part of me wishes SC was still in charge, he exuded calm on the big occasions. But in Nuno we trust!
Coyr! ???????
We need a bit of luck and a team selection that includes a bit of experience, especially at the back.

I dunno what’s got between folk on here but I’ll say this, life can change within a nano second, unless something really bad has happened (which I doubt ) it’s a life of regret if your final words or interactions are words or interactions you wish you’d done differently. Sorry for lecture but think it through.

Think of one of our own hero’s, hit the bottle because he fell out with his soul mate over the signing of John Robertson, he never made it up and it destroyed him in the end - it was futile. I wish he’d seen sense as it consumed him in the end.

Have a read of William Blake the poison tree - there is a lesson in it for us all, or watch an interview with james dean Bradfield where he talks about victor jara - the message about accepting each other in spite of our beliefs is another valuable message.

I sincerely mean no offence to anyone and hope you have a great weekend.

Ps …. STEVIE ?????? it’s getting toooooo funny!

Good post 2star and what we all need to learn is FORGIVENESS. If someone errs and apologises, accept with your heart, truly forgive and move on. Forgiveness helps you as much as the offender. Life is way too short for bitterness and revenge.

16 Mar 2024 09:13:56
2star ?I know mate it gets better and better, ??.

16 Mar 2024 10:09:27
Personal attacks are what upset most posters, all fine and dandy to attack their opinions but leave childish calling to children who mostly grow up.
CARLO.

16 Mar 2024 10:13:13
Just when we’d actually got talking about football again, please leave the lectures on forgiveness to the professionals on Sunday mornings, nobody outside the pair of them knows what’s happened between 79 and Bowie, I’ve met DTP plenty of times and consider him a mate, BOWIE I’ve met a few times and had a good laugh with him no issue, good lad, and I think he knows that if I had anything to say to him, good or bad I would look him in the eye and tell him, good or bad, to his face, not on this football site, leave the lads to sort it, themselves, and it would help if the gang of 2 from skeg, stopped stirring it, it’s a massive match today, the board should be full of that,

16 Mar 2024 10:58:26
Actually I've text him this morning and told him to leave it Bowie's a great lad and just gets upset easy because he trys to get on with everyone and can't understand why kind of guy he his so you need to get your facts right about stirring things Steve and I agree I have a problem I tell them to there face and don't give a damn.

16 Mar 2024 12:00:14
Skegs that’s half the problem people texting each other, , let them sort it, and keep your nose out, big game this afternoon, that should be dominating the site, not this crap,

16 Mar 2024 12:56:09
Since my near death encounter I’ve come to look on life in a different way. Yes we all fall out, and have a difference of opinion to others, and yes we can wind each other up. I saw some truly horrific head injures on the critical care ward at the qmc. So we should be glad of what we have. Yes we may well get relegated but we just might stop up. If we do go down look on the bright side home games 3pm every other week and a game in mid week. On the moving ground debate, the only place that would be suitable would be the embankment. Toton is in no mans land, no hospitality nothing, and half a billion to build. Hope 79 and Bowie are ok, you were decent to me in the past. I will reserve on everyone else till I get to know them.

16 Mar 2024 12:46:59
Quote "Leave it lads, Just got talking about football again, leave the lectures and forgiveness" unquote. But ironically I'll finish my post with a swipe at the "Gang of 2 from skegness " ??‍♂️?.

16 Mar 2024 13:29:38
Balloons yeah because you are stirring the pot, and yet again trying to make the site all about you 2.

16 Mar 2024 13:38:44
Balloons oh and by the way get your”quote’ right, I didn’t say “ leave it lads” I said leave it to them to sort out.

16 Mar 2024 07:33:55
I think Nuno has got a few things wrong recently but he shows bravery in dropping players he thinks can be a liability. ie ELANGA and CHO. But ORIGI should go the same way. A square pass to Wood and the Brighton score would have been different. ORIGI just can't cut the mustard at this level. I doubt Sangare will fair much better if selected. We need players with passion and bottle. Where we lack in midfield creativity you cannot lose the limited Yates, even with his crap wrestling and stupid cheap fouls, he shows drive and mentality required over this run in. However cheap free kicks in dangerous areas are leading to our downfall so it needs eradicating. I still think we look a better unit under Nuno but the players will stop believing if we don't pop in a few goals and get some confidence boosting points. I think the cloud over potential points deduction's is an absolute disgrace whilst a season is in progress. How can a team operate under this uncertainty?. Any investigation should be done in the close season and the punishment meated out then, for example a team should start the season on minus points rather than the chaos which will unfold with us and Everton which will effect many clubs down the line.

Good post Rutland.

16 Mar 2024 11:07:42
Rutland sorry don’t really understand how it can be ‘ ‘brave’ to start a game you could really do with winning, without your best striker Awonyi, probably the quickest winger in the league, elanga, and a man who’s been in decent goal scoring form in CHO, and replace them with a barely fit wood, then play origi out wide, seems stupid not brave to me, Brighton were crap and there for the taking, managerial blunder, , just like playing a cart horse of a central defender, at left back, against a flying machine at villa, if this manager don’t pull his finger out, we won’t need a point deduction to relegate us,

16 Mar 2024 12:16:41
Not been on this site since the derby game 3 years back. Had to have brain surgery that summer, but the doctor who operated was a red and got me in during close season. Been a blast this last couple of seasons, but as I see it the back room staff have let the club down. Cup final today. CoyR.

16 Mar 2024 06:15:33
DTP sorry mate missed your post earlier. Not going to Luton, so few tickets available mate. One place I’ve never been as well.
We need to be tough as nails today. Let’s see what happens.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Mar 2024 08:15:50
You haven't missed much mate
The only ground where executive boxes are beach huts, mind you you don't have to walk to the ground as the coaches park on the street outside.

16 Mar 2024 09:10:44
Lovely ethnic area cracking kebabs. although last time I was there about 18 years ago all the local lads were running rampage and the police left em to it whilst battoning the forest lot.

16 Mar 2024 10:39:03
Red stripe yeah it got naughty there that year,

16 Mar 2024 10:41:06
I was there for that one redstripe
It did get a bit tasty
Good old days in league one when you could get an away ticket.

16 Mar 2024 11:34:15
We'd parked in some social club n when got back it had all windows put through

Saw many a local walking round with blades n cops literally ignoring so as not to upset the locals.

16 Mar 2024 00:46:25
And so to bed.
DTP you say its about football and not individuals,
I'm sorry I'd disagree, been on this f kn site long enough, and bye how at times I've tried my very best to keep it alive.
From c.v. talking about anything from best 70s xmas presents to how i hate f kn celery.
I've been through some very tough times, yup showed them, even my kids hard times. And you know.
Every red including your goodself was there.
I know you don't get on with what skegs/ balloons post. But why should that effect your life, and every other f kr on here. It's banter for taylors sake.
79, don't take this personal and the world really isn't against ya.
FOR CLOUGHS SAKE WE ARE ONE.
We religiously love this club for evermore. Always will. NIGHT you lot xxxx and oi make an effort to those you ain't seen for a while. Tell ya. Without knowing could change there world. ❤.

As I said Bowie your rambling Friday night his the highlight of my week this site as always been about individuals and individuals comments we all have one thing in common we all think we know what's best for our club but what makes this site stand out from any other site is the individual characters on it most of us all get on most of us enjoy a laugh and a banter wether it's about football or life in general we all need to meet up and have a big group hug I think everyone would enjoy that ?.

15 Mar 2024 20:53:13
Hi all
Have been on this site for years but haven’t posted for years
I have continued to read all posts with interest
I stopped participating because it started to get a little negative and toxic and a little bit too personal even during the promotion season
People have come and gone
Skegs has always been there but I do enjoy Bowiereds comments at the end of the day we are all Forest fans
The last three seasons including this one have been so much more then we all thought possible only a few seasons ago
You have all vented your frustrations on this site but let’s enjoy the comradeship of supporting this fantastic football club.

15 Mar 2024 21:34:05
The sounds of the city ground, amazing how they haunt ya yet lift you up freddie, much appreciated young man. We can all get away from the truth crawling over that f kn bridge, and finding ratholes. But it's the truth we gnaw at. Admitting were sh1te. Truth x.
