Forest signing Macheda from Man U on a season long loan. Alex Ferguson wants him to gain first team experience under Steve McClaren. Man U are expected to pay all the wages, only condition of the loan is that he should start a minimum of 25 games (unless injured etc..)

Believable19 Unbelievable12

Why has he flown to America with them then?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it is the bit about Man U paying his wages that makes this unbelievable. I know Man City did something similar with the loan of Bellamy to Cardiff but Man City have got ridiculously rich owners. I don't think it would go down well with the Man U fans if the club agreed to pay the wages of someone they are loaning out, especially considering Glazer is already unpopular for transferring all his debts onto the club

Forest to sign Luuk De Jong before the trip to Portugal.

Believable11 Unbelievable14

Source?

Agree0 Disagree0

I wud love this to be true but I very much doubt it

Agree0 Disagree0

So he will sign today ? bullsh*t

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like to think we would bid for him instead of chasing Championshiop strikers like Maynard.
Signing DeJong would be a statement of intent

Sir Alex Ferguson will allow Oliver gill to go on loan to Nottingham Forest for the season. Oliver has not made the trip to usa and needs to play first team football. Also there will be a statement made tomorrow by Nottingham forest regarding transfers . and from what i can gather Mr Doughty will be eating humble pie

Mark Arthur Nottingham Forest Chief Executive will be leaving shortly to take up a position at the F.A , Nottingham Forest are lining up Frank Clark to replace him, Frank Clark's current position is Regional Director of the League Managers Association, but he could be tempted to take up the post of Chief Executive at his former club.

Please dont tease

Agree0 Disagree0

How I hope that is true I hate Marthur at least Frank would tell us it like it is

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god for that

Agree0 Disagree0

MA didnt get the job because we lost the bid to host the world cup

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, you almost had me then, but then i read the bit about Marthur going to the FA LOL AS IF anyone else, even those FA muppets would hire MA - sorry, you have been rumbled.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please Please Please Please Please Please

Agree0 Disagree0

Please make this be true, Marthur would fit in great at the F.A

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh god please be true

I would so love this to be true but it's probably BS - unfortunately

lol 2mil what forest supposed to have bidded but leicester has 1.5 accepted for routelage so it has baffled me why newcastle taking 500k less

Believable9 Unbelievable9

My understanding is that the deal was 1.5mil for Rout and 500k for Perch who they wanted to offload too. Taking the two together was the deal so i heard. chunky_snowman

I was at T in the Park this weekend in the VIP hospitality area and saw nffc manager Steve Mcclaren. He was with a man who was introduced as AEK Athens midfielder Thepry Tendas.

Steve was confident about getting this deal complete but conceded he was only halfway there and there was a considerable distance to go.

Believable5 Unbelievable23

Did Steve end the conversation by saying "I'll stand by you"?

Have been at Silverstone today and spotted nffc manager Steve Mcclaren in the Red Bull hospitality area. He was with Hoffenheim left back Bernt Ruber and another man who i presume was his agent.

Hopefully Steve can get this deal sorted and we can see the pacey left back at the City Ground next season.
----------------------------------------------

Well one of you or both of you (probably the same person) are spouting absolute carp as usual

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats quite funny because its T4 On the beach and Not T on the beach, bit of a lie surely and why would Smac be there with a player he is looking to sign, very unlikely

Firstly... is davidaj09 on twitter a real account?

2nd, he just tweeted this

'Giles barnes has gone to Leeds? And boetang trained with #NFFC today. Let's hope for more players in'

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Davidaj09 is real, its David Johnson he is linked with NFFC still as goes out with players alot etc

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy is a c*** and likes the sound of his own voice. Anyone that knows anything about Forest knows that DJ has his own agenda and only rubbish is spouted from his traphole.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok lol he hasnt idiot

Yes davidaj09 on twitter is real, Barnes as joined up with Leeds in Scotland.

Forest will not be signing anyone.. I live near Nigel Doughty in Skillington. He is looking to sell Forest on as he needs to recoup the £43million we owe him. however is finding it hard to find a suitable buyer as we have assets for them to invest in as our ground is owned by the council not the club. If anyone does come in they will come in on loan and only until january as our wage structure wont allow for longer. we wont be selling anyone though as it will decrease the chances of us staying in the league.

Believable6 Unbelievable25

You say you live near him, you haven't said anything about knowing him, so how do you get the info?

Agree0 Disagree0

The Information comes from him, He has been looking to sell since 2010 but cant get a buyer.. If the world cup had come to England the club would of been sold to a Indian billionaire called makesh ambani, he would of footed the bill for the new stadium and a new players. Nigel has invested heavily in the Youth system at forest and is hoping it will reap rewards like before when we had Dawson and JJ sold for millions, Paul heart may return to the club soon to finish what he started with our youth development and aid us becoming a selling club once again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dcrease our chances of staying in this league? Have you seen the depleated squad?
We have got to be odds on favourites to go down

Agree0 Disagree0

And I suppose he told you all of this over a cuppa and a jaffa cake?

Agree0 Disagree0

'favourites to go down'? What are you on? Our squad is almost as good as it was last year, with Findley for Earnie, Reid for Tyson, just short of holding mid if Moose doesn't sign and, obviously, a left back. Don't spout such rubbish.

if bolo zenden signs, prehaps he will be r new left back. when at barcalona, he played a large part in LB. just a thought.........
looks like giles barnes will sign soon, along with david jones on a free from wolves. also, SM is targeting a ST, after earnie leaving. mcgugan, chambers, camp, and gunter will stay. moussi, mcgoaldrought and garner(loan) will leave.
robin-red

Believable4 Unbelievable17

Bolo zenden is good a left back, but he mite b wasted there because of his pace and ball skillp {Ed014's Note - He's a midfielder now. He may well fill in occasionally if signed, but no chance is he going to be signed with the intention of being a left-back.}

how can you be on the internet at the same time.........duh

What a load of utter tosh Hargreaves is on the verge of signing for WBA as per several news reports. If you're gonna make something up at least make it half believable mate :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Why lie got nowt better to do

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely any medical would be at The Park or the Nuffield. I can't see him at the City in the outpatients queue

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of BS, everyone knows we arent signing anyone

MArthur is a complete tw@t

Agree0 Disagree0

Fantastic rumours, its wonderful looking at you muppets . its that sad your trying to sign any one with a pulse lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw him at Belvoir Drive Leic traing with the fester on friday 100% true

Steve Mclaren may not be going to Portugal as he is worried about the lack of signings. His words, he may have to stay behind and work with the chairman to ensure we get the right players in. Source BBC website

Believable6 Unbelievable3

This is worrying. Not only for the lack of signings but for the lack of involvement the manager will have with the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is worrying. Yes he should be with the team. But more worrying, it suggests that he doesn't trust Marthur to get the job done. He's only been at the club for a month

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a disgrace. Who will be taking the team in Portugal? There ain't an Assistant Manager at the club. Unreal

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see the point of going to Portugal anyway , unless we're going to play '5 a side' matches

Agree0 Disagree0

All very depressing if you ask me. having a man on the inside, there will be no multi million pound signings, just lower league players, freebies and loanees. thats your lot. The chairman has shafted the supporters YET again

Agree0 Disagree0

What a joke.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mclaren is in an akward position, he cant stay at home as he has to be with players but he cant trust the idiots at the club to get players signed so has to be hands on, we are becoming a laughing sock if any of this is true

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like we're gonna be the laughing stock of the Championship this season the way things are going. You have to speculate to accumulate so why dont the board trust SM's judgement to get the right players in and pay them what they deserve to get the windfall of the PL.

Agree0 Disagree0

He sounded a bit downbeat in that interview already.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's an absolute farce What is the point in the Portugal trip now Well done doughty and ma Jokers

Agree0 Disagree0

Im just amazed all you guys thought we were gonna get anyone to sign. We get shafted EVERY transfer window and they use all manner of excuses.

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like Doughty and co have cocked things up again

wayne routledge was at city ground yesteday

Believable2 Unbelievable25

His agent says he is being chased by 8 clubs. No deecision for 2 wekks

Agree0 Disagree0

That doesn't mean that he wasn't at the City Ground. We're obviously one of the clubs chasing him, so he has reason to be there.

Routledge joing Festa as is Maynard. It gets better :(

Believable13 Unbelievable22

Only thing i cant understand is we offered 2million? and he is moving for 1.5 million, something very strange is happening with regards to our great team

Mark the red

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't matter what we've offered. If the players don't want to come that's it. And with Doughty & Marther at the helm who'd blame them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont worry florist you will have the immense upcoming talent of Mr Boateng to guide you to promotion...........
Oh dear even derby are showing you up in the transfer market, still you did enjoy your time in league one last time, you were there for a while..... but hey at least you have won a european cup

Agree0 Disagree0

No he isn't. He's going to the Swans because they've bid. Nothing on Leicester bidding except the Daily Mail, the worst newspaper on sale today...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes but if you were offered 2m or 1.5m which bid would you accept?its not rocket science is it

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe it was made up 500k down payment and installments of 1 per game and snicker bar. Which is not unusual with Forest. Were becoming a laughing stock.

Wayne Routledge will be announced later today on east midlands today, the deal has gone through.

Believable2 Unbelievable23

Why have Swansea bid 1.5 million then?

Agree0 Disagree0

I bloody well hope so ill be watching but once again theres no need to get ourhopes up

Agree0 Disagree0

I will believe it when I see it Hopefully he put pen to paper over the weekend jus before Swansea and Leicester started sniffing around

Agree0 Disagree0

Wheres this from?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yh wtf ever

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be announced on East Mids today on account that Leicester are on the brink of signing him

Agree0 Disagree0

Best be or we ought to go protest at the city ground make our voices heard

Agree0 Disagree0

How can it of gone through wen Swansea are in pole position for him pure rubbish u dnt no wat your talking about.

Agree0 Disagree0

Going to Leicester I'm afraid

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually the Mail are reporting that Routledge is joining Leicester over us and Swansea. They probably offering better wages

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of Routledge coming here now

Agree0 Disagree0

No one has said swansea have bid have they wasnt it just interest and a possible bid newcastle would of confirmed accepting there bid

Agree0 Disagree0

Mail says he's signing for leicester

Agree0 Disagree0

If its true why isnt it on the os then

Agree0 Disagree0

Well according to SSN, we made a bid of 1.6 million, Swans bid 1.5 million...

Swansea have made a bid for Routledge - BBC- Another player lost due to the board fannying around When will they learn? Wilko

Believable13 Unbelievable4

Its all down to wages when we offered 2mil it was excepted by newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

They have bid less thou

Agree0 Disagree0

As posted 3 weeks ago SM has a budget of 2.5 mil only, most of our signings will be frees

Agree0 Disagree0

As I've said before, when ever Forest are trying to sign a player it turns into a saga - on, & on & on. Then because we are trying to get them 'on the cheap' they sign for another club.
I'm affraid the only way we are going to compete in this league is for Doughty to cough up or sell the club to somebody that's got the funds to compete with the likes of Fester.

Agree0 Disagree0

They will never learn is the answer to that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also on sky news

Agree0 Disagree0

Same as always we a linked but not getting them forest board does not want us to go up this situation is same as billy davies no money tths wot will happen to mcclaren

Agree0 Disagree0

If weve only got a budget of 2.5 mil why r we being linked to players which r gonna cost 4mil?

Agree0 Disagree0

When will fans learn to believe that all they hear and read is not true. Routledge, shorey, maynard, Gibson, hargreaves, Andrews, verhoek will not sign for us. Get a bloody grip chaps.

Agree0 Disagree0

So where is your proof that the board have messed this up??
We made an offer, which sounds like it has been accepted. How do you know Routledge isn't just holding out for a premier club?

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no proof, but we havent exactly got the best rep for contract negotiations have we

Agree0 Disagree0

And so have Leicester

Agree0 Disagree0

You kee pbelieving that the board and Doughty havent messed up, offcourse they have.

Wait and see how many actual players that we sign and pay a fee for1

The signings will be mostly freebies and dross that no one else wants

2003 all over again

Agree0 Disagree0

If most of the people we get are frees etc, maybe that's because we can't afford anyone else.
No-one else with limitless resources wants to buy the club - get over it. If players are holding out for moves to the Prem then we're shafted anyway - can't blame the board for having limited finances.

following rob earnshaw's departure, forest manager Steve McClaren is targeting Doncaster striker Billy Sharp as a replacement with a reported fee of £1.5million being offered

Believable12 Unbelievable11

This will be a good signing we need a proven goalscorer

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt it as they rejected over 2 mill for him when ipswich bid earlier in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

1.5m for Sharp? What after Doncaster rejected a 3.25M bid from Southampton.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard that garner might be part of a deal for sharp

Wayne Routledge is in advanced talks with Cardiff. He is not coming to us. We made no offer for him just an enquiry.

Believable8 Unbelievable14

No advanced talks because no offer put in from cardiff plus 2m offer by forest was accepted by newcastled so i suspect bull

Agree0 Disagree0

That's the trouble with this site the bull #%it comes from bitter derby fans, I think you should have to sign up to actually make a comment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen it on nufc blog but cardiff are abroad so suspect mischief making

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm, im guessing its bull....he'll be on east midlands today holding the red shirt later this afternoon...

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest agreed price with Newcastle and talks were held with Routledge late last week, so you are talking rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree u should have to sign up to make and read comments

Agree0 Disagree0

Swansea have made a 1.5 mill bid for Routledge, BBC Sport

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually fellas, just seen it on the BBC that Swansea have bid for Routledge... :-( sorry to say that this aint looking good

Its onn bbc site that swasea an cardiff want him now

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah just like swansea havent bid for him today. Get over it he aint signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bwaaaaa Another target wanders off to a bigger club - what happened to you ladies being a massive club who could attract top drawer players? Get over yourselves, the writing is on the wall and that's why you can't get anyone but Andy Reid in, who'd want to come to a club that's going to struggle all season and then get relegated? McClaren to walk out on you by Christmas, loving it
