Nottingham Forest are hoping to sign defender Sam Hutchinson on loan from Chelsea.

The 23-year-old has held talks with Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll, who is keen to take him to the City Ground on a season-long deal.

But he could now be needed as cover at Stamford Bridge given that Branislav Ivanovic must serve a suspension after being sent off in the Community Shield match against Manchester City.

Hutchinson retired from the game in 2010 because of a knee injury but made a surprise recovery and returned to Chelsea to sign an 18-month contract in December.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Ivanovic's suspension not valid for League games as Community Shield not classed as a competetive fixture

The sam Hutchinson rumour appears to be more than a rumour.

Found this article in West London news

a number of clubs are eyeing a move for Reading striker Simon Church.

Championship trio Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town are all thought to be keen on signing the Wales international.

The three clubs are all thought to have made an enquiry to Reading about signing Church on a season-long loan deal.

Church struggled to hold down a regular place in the Reading team last season and the summer arrival of Pavel Pogrebnyak could see Church pushed further down the pecking order.

The highly-rated forward could be tempted to leave Reading this summer in search of regular first-team football and Reading could consider loaning him out so that he can get some action under his belt.

The 23-year-old, who made 19 starts in the Championship last season, netted seven goals last term to help Reading win promotion to the Premier League.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

If we sign him that I doubt we will as we are already overloaded with strikers we will have to sell a few. We need to go rid of the dead wood.

Agree0 Disagree0

Decent goal record though, wouldn't mind him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't he also play on the wing?

News coming into me that Nottingham Forest are still to tie up two Premier League players within the next two days. They will include a Winger and another striker to play off Dexter Blackstock and Simon Cox.

Believable10 Unbelievable8

Hammil and church. Then we would have a great squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Wolves sell Hammill after losing Jarvis and Kightly?

fawaz al hasawi is talking like bader Al Mutawa is signing for the reds

Believable10 Unbelievable4

He is. Subject to a work permit. Bid accepted for him and fadel, a centre back, although he's less likely to get a WP. Also offered a deal to the unattached Kuwaiti GK, but again, will depend on a WP.

Apparently we have bid for paul Taylor, and still in discussions with buzaky

Believable9 Unbelievable7

I don't suppose that the Nottingham Post will stand in his way. Sports journos are ten-a-penny. I think that he would have preferred to go to County though.

Agree0 Disagree1

The Buzacky rumor is rubbish he will move abroad, this rumor was from ages ago!

Ed Do you know anything about Buzacky joining Forest It's on other rumour pages {Ed034's Note - No mate but would be a decent signing

Buzacky is still trying for a move abroad so will not be signing.

Forest have enquired for Sammy Ameobi from Newcastle.

Believable9 Unbelievable15

No chance at all.

SAMMY??

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard rumblings of that one myself. Anything can happen between now and the end of Aug and it probably will..

Agree0 Disagree0

They wont let him go he is highly rated up there {Ed034's Note - Even on loan?

Agree0 Disagree0

The lad is like Bambi on roller-skates, I really hope this isnt true!

Agree1 Disagree1

I can't see this unless we have found clubs for 3 of our current strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

He plays on the wing. Quality player. When he played at CG last season thought he'd be rubbish like bamby on ice but was quality

Agree0 Disagree0

He's an awesome talent, would love that.

Sam Hutchinson cb from Chelsea and Scott wooton from man utd to sign on loan in the next couple of days

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Hutchinson will be in Chelsea's 25 man squad {Ed034's Note - Does he have to be as he is from the academy??

Agree0 Disagree0

I thourght hutchinson was a RB

Agree0 Disagree0

Hutchinson is a right back also...

Agree0 Disagree0

Telegraph online piece about Community Shield says Hutchinson was talking to O'Driscoll today about loan move.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sam hutchinson held talks signed season long loan

Agree0 Disagree0

Avaliable and promising talent

Agree0 Disagree0

As they are both RB/CB and we have a limited number of loans, I think it may be either/ or not both

Agree0 Disagree0

Wootton was interviewed last week and he's hoping to break through at Utd this season

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true, it'll be a great deal for you, I'm a Chelsea fan and this lad is talented! Had some injury problems and had to retire 2 years ago but is fit and looking decent again!

Believable5 Unbelievable10

I was going to post this also I know Kieron's friend from the academy! Finally people talking truth

Agree0 Disagree1

Thats the funniest rumour i've heard in a long time. Good move obviously a sheep talking there

Agree0 Disagree0

I work with his uncle who has said exactly the same thing. I didn't believe him at first but said Keiron had a meeting with SOD yesterday and was thanked for his hard work during his time at Forest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not true he is is going to notts on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

It is a true post. I work with Keirons friend and he has said he will sign for Derby very soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, but what does NLN mean {Ed034's Note - Non league nigel

Agree0 Disagree0

Well thats the best talent weve had since Mcgugan gone forest loss Derbys gain i wish the lad all the best fantastic player, good on the ball can win a tackle quick great footballing brain {Ed034's Note - better than lascelles???

Simon Cox appears to be away on international duty. Maybe the deal has not been completed until he comes back with both legs intact? Or perhaps the normal photos are not on the website because the download speed for photos is more than 24 hours. The official site is not the best ~ probably done by the same people who did the RBS computersystem!

Believable4 Unbelievable3

There is nothing wrong with the OS.

Hasawi has tweeted that he has signed.
Cox has tweeted that he has signed

Its not on the OS and lets be honest we have no idea why?

Maybe there is a problem?

Agree0 Disagree0

There are some little bits of paperwork to be completed but he is OUR player

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not on the WBA site either so let's not worry about that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul Taylor tweeted that the paperwork hasnt been totally completed which is why it isn't on the website. Deal is agreed and club are nRot concerned. Simon Cox will be playing for us

Miller, Derbyshire and findley are all going to be sold this week

Believable5 Unbelievable11

Why sell Findley ? Thought he looked good as a winger against County ?

Agree1 Disagree1

Miller is being sold to boro.derbyshire is one of our strikers to be given a chance after his problems last season and findley has impressed on the wing.goldie is going on loan tho. {Ed034's Note - I can see Findlay on the wing yes,ate Derbyshire being given a chance, but goldie has impressed so'd and miller was part of his starting attack, until he got injured

Agree0 Disagree1

I have doubts that findley will be sold as he looked sharp playing on the wing and we dont really have anyone for the right wing. miller and derbys***e i can believe altho i think we'll keep one of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about all three - Findley has featured heavily in pre-season and still has the potential in his seemingly new position on the wing.

Miller and Derbyshire - I will drive them wherever they need to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Derbyshire yes please but not the other two looking at the friendlys they must be SODs plan

Agree0 Disagree0

If true, we'd need one or two more up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

Middlesboro want miller according to sun

Agree0 Disagree0

Miller & Derbyshire earn too much to loan them and I think selling them would have to have a rare commodity called a buyer. I wouldn't miss either tbh, as they've spent most of their time with us on the treatment table. If Fidley is going, it would probably be back to the US.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please be true! please get rid and cut our losses before we waste anymore time on and money on these total wasters.

Agree0 Disagree0

SOD said that findley was part of his plans as a winger, what would be the point in selling them all?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you sell findley?

Agree0 Disagree0

When has O'Driscoll ever actually said any of them are in his plans? I personally wouldn't miss any of them, and I'm sure no-one else would shed a tear if they were to go and we signed 2 wingers and a striker in their place. Plus Findley will never cut it as a winger!

Agree0 Disagree0

Can we add Greening to that list in place of Findlay who hopefully will have a geat season

Agree0 Disagree0

What wrong with you lot Findley is shocking he cant do anything you put him 1 on 1 and he cant score the other 2 can
And findley gets 1 goal and your happy yet he misses 5 open gials before he gets 1 goal

Agree1 Disagree0

U say he would never make it has a winger lol didn't he get 2 assists in a pre season game ? playing on the wing? he's better on the wing the up front!

Agree0 Disagree0

Miller and Finley could make great impact players coming off the bench ~ if we needed something different. Derbyshire should be sent out on loan to see if he can play for 90 minutes/score a goal/avoid falling over or diving more than once in any game.

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt Findley can be sold after THAT miss. We should bite anyone's hand off that offers money for Miller or Derbyshire.

Agree0 Disagree1

Its only 2 assists if you count falling over for a very soft penalty and second of all it was against league 1 Notts County, in fairness maybe he is good enough for that level, but hes done naff all for us when it counts!

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one would keep Findley and play him on the wing certainly a better winger than a forward and we do need wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i thought findley was brilliant at county match as for miller injury prone and derbyshire give him till jan he was out of football for 3 months with illness and he didnt get a pre season last year

Agree0 Disagree0

What's this coming off the bench thing? They should come off the bench just before the whistle for the start of the match goes and play for 90 mins as contracted? If they can't do that then they are clearly in breach of contract or not good enough!
Get rid sharpish before it starts spreading again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Add mcgoldrick to the list

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be nice!

Bid of 750k rejected for adam hammill. Wolves holding out for 1.2 million. {Ed034's Note - Pay it

Believable16 Unbelievable9

Would be a great signing but can't see us getting him tbf.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll chip in 50 quid to get the total up for hammill. He would be a fantastic addition

Agree0 Disagree0

Get him in! ...... Very good player! Would fit in well in our midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Ed, just pay it, very good at this level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed ed but good to see we're holding out for realistic deals. Good, solid pros so far without overspending. A right winger and an out and out right back would be awesome. Seen before just how important great full backs are. Coyr!

Agree0 Disagree0

Steer well clear what he is and what he thinks he is are too different things talking to a wolves season ticket holder and said he is trouble!

Agree0 Disagree0

I always rated Hammill until his non-entity of a loan spell at boro last season, not sure he's the man for us now

Agree0 Disagree0

Now Jarvis is probably leaving and kightly has already gone, will they let hammil go too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sign him up would do the job for us very nicely

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree with Ed top quality player is Hammill

C8RED

Agree0 Disagree0

Hammil would be a great signing. Why would wolves sell unless they have financial pressure to do so? {Ed034's Note - There new boss has said he needs to ship players out as there squad is too big

Agree0 Disagree0

He's rejoining Barnsley to get his career back on track

I've just had confirmation from a mate of Liam Lawrence's who knows him from his mansfield days that he was at the game last night, which confirms the picture. But what he also said was that he was only there as a spectator.
I thought it might have been a similar case to matt derbyshiire being spotted at the county game last season but no such luck.

Franck Moussa will sign before the fleetwood game.

Cox will be announced alongside Al Mutawa.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Cox has already signed

Agree0 Disagree0

He's already been announced haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Cox may have signed but it is not on the OS yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussa looks poor

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not on the OS. Furthermore that picture was not Liam Lawrence. Credibility of this rumour is lost

Agree0 Disagree0

That wasn't Liam Lawrence in the pic doing the rounds. It was my mate, who was sat in VIP lounge on a 1 off.
